“Took you long enough…” The girls are back in town! And ready to stun us all over again! 20th Century Studios has revealed the first teaser trailer for The Devil Wears Prada 2, the next long-awaited legacy sequel. The original The Devil Wears Prada opened in 2006 and was a massive, beloved hit worldwide – this next one arrives in theaters May 2026 next summer, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the first film. This sequel follows Miranda Priestly’s struggle against Emily Charlton, her former assistant turned rival exec, as they compete for advertising revenue amidst declining print media while Miranda nears retirement. Everyone is back! Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci return in The Devil Wears Prada 2, with the same director – David Frankel – and writer – Aline Brosh McKenna. Featuring an all-new runway of characters this time including Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu, Patrick Brammall, Caleb Hearon, Helen J. Shen, Pauline Chalamet, B.J. Novak & Conrad Ricamora. Tracie Thoms and Tibor Feldman also reprise their roles as Lily & Irv from the first film.
