Happy New Music Friday! The weekend is here, which means more streaming, new playlists and the best that music has to offer — and ET has you covered for everything in between.

Coachella kicks off today with headliners Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, Karol G, and Anyma. Fans can tune in via Coachella’s YouTube Channel to see seven stages featuring a lineup that includes Addison Rae, BIGBANG, BINI, Clipse, David Guetta, FKA twigs, Jack White, Kaskade, KATSEYE, Major Lazer, Laufey, The Strokes, Teddy Swims and more. The livestream will begin at 4pm PT each night.

CBS and Dick Clark Productions announced that Queen Latifah will host the 52nd American Music Awards on May 25. This will mark 30 years since her AMAs hosting debut when she was a co-host in 1995. She shared, “I am so excited to return to the American Music Awards stage to host this year. It’s been an incredible year for music and there is no better place to celebrate than in Vegas.”

Women lead nominations for the 61st Academy of Country Music Awards. Megan Moroney leads with 9 nominations, followed by Miranda Lambert with 8, Ella Langley with 7, Lainey Wilson with 7, Chris Stapleton with 6, Zach Top with 5 and Cody Johnson with 4. More performers have also been announced — Kacey Musgraves, Little Big Town and Miranda Lambert will join previously announced performers Cody Johnson, Lainey Wilson and Riley Green. The awards will stream live on May 17 on Prime Video.

The Latin Recording Academy announced that Daddy Yankee will be the 2026 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year. He will be honored for his nearly three-decade career as a singer, songwriter and performer within the urban genre, as well as for his humanitarian efforts. Daddy Yankee shared, “This recognition from The Latin Recording Academy is a dream come true. It means a lot because it represents more than just a successful career; it’s recognition of years of discipline, struggle, faith and commitment to our culture.” He will be celebrated at a private gala on November 11 in Las Vegas, as part of Latin GRAMMY Week.

Lady Gaga and Doechii released their new song “Runway,” the first piece of music from The Devil Wears Prada 2. The song was written by Bruno Mars, Jaylah Hickmon, Lady Gaga, Andrew Watt, Henry Walter, Dernst “D’Mile” Emile II and Jayda Love, and produced by Bruno Mars, Andrew Watt, Cirkut and D’Mile. The song marks the first collaboration between Gaga and Doechii.

Hilary Duff has released “Come Clean (Mine),” a re-recorded version of her 2003 hit single. The track will be featured in “The Reunion: Laguna Beach” which premieres April 10 on The Roku Channel. The song will also be included on Hilary Duff – (Mine), a brand new collection of newly re-recorded renditions of Hilary’s great hits, out on April 18 exclusively for Record Store Day 2026.

16 year old country singer Maddox Batson is currently on his Live Worldwide Tour 2026 and made a stop at The Wiltern in Los Angeles this week, which was his 100th show.

Simone Ashley has released her debut EP, Songs I Wrote In New York. Best known for her starring roles in “Bridgerton” and “Sex Education” and upcoming films “The Devil Wears Prada 2” and “Peaked,” Ashley reconnects with her early foundations in music. Before acting, music and performing were her earliest forms of creative expression. Simone shared, “I’ve found a confidence in knowing what kind of women and artist I want to be – that feeling really kept me company whilst in the studio writing and recording these songs.”

Bruno Mars was honored today with a parade down the Las Vegas Strip to celebrate the launch of his new tour, The Romantic Tour. Park Avenue was officially renamed Bruno Mars Drive, which is a rare and distinguished honor reserved for only a select few whose influence has changed the Entertainment Capital of the World. Bruno was also honored with a special proclamation from Clark County Commissioner Jim Gibson and and ceremonial state flag from Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo, acknowledging Bruno’s significant cultural and entertainment contributions. Bruno also made a charitable donation to a local nonprofit.

“I’m gonna kill that felt fuzzy!” Terror Films has revealed an official trailer for a new horror comedy called The Fuzzies, about evil children’s show puppets come to life. This low budget indie creation is a feature version of filmmaker Josh Funk’s original short film from 2020 also called The Fuzzies. And it features some very cool stop-motion work and puppetry. Childhood friends reunite at the eerie and spooky estate of their famous friend to mourn her passing. They experience what nightmares are made of – as grotesque puppets come alive and sinister stop-motion creatures make them fight for their lives. Starring Rocío de la Grana, Baylee Toney, Dustin Vaught, Gordy Cassel, Karen Leigh Sharp, & Seph Casani. It’s much more playful than scary and more wacky than frightening. Of course it’s a bit similar to Five Nights at Freddy’s, too. There’s also a film at Sundance this year titled Buddy about a killer children’s show mascot. Watch out.

The Fuzzies is directed by American genre filmmaker Josh Funk, making his feature directorial debut with this project after directing many other short films previously. The screenplay is written by Dustin Vaught & Josh Funk. Based on Funk’s 2020 short film of the name name. It’s also produced by Dustin Vaught & Josh Funk. The Bravo stars wrote a joint public statement on March 31, 2026, acknowledging that they “never” intended to “purposely hide anything,” but “this is still very new” to them. So, how long have they been dating?

Why Did Amanda Batula & Kyle Cooke Break Up?

As Summer House fans recall, Amanda and her estranged husband, Kyle Cooke, announced their separation in January 2026 — two months before she and West went public with their “very new” relationship.

Amanda and Kyle said they “mutually and amicably decided” to break up in a joint public statement they shared to their Instagram Stories in January 2026.

“After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple,” the now-former couple wrote at the time. “We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support while we focus on our personal growth and healing.”

Kyle and Amanda added, “It feels ironic to ask for privacy during this time since we’ve always tried to be open and honest about our relationship, but your kindness and respect will go a long way as we try to navigate our next chapter.”

Although Kyle had admittedly cheated on Amanda in the past, they did not cite infidelity as the reason behind their split.

Just a few weeks later, Kyle appeared on Watch What Happens Live and was asked about the rumors between Amanda and West. Kyle said he believed the speculation was “outrageous,” and he thought there was no “merit” to the rumors.

“It would certainly catch me by surprise and feel a little reckless,” he admitted. “I think Ciara [Miller] would probably have something to say.”

When Did West Wilson & Ciara Miller Date?

West and Ciara briefly dated in 2023 when he joined Summer House, and they broke up by December of that year. They never explained why they split, but West was open about his commitment struggles on the show.

Amanda and West said in their joint March 2026 statement that their relationship is “very new,” and their connection had “developed recently.” So, the exact timeline of their romance is still unclear, but Amanda and West were friends before falling for each other.

“We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity,” the newfound couple wrote in their joint Instagram Stories statement. “It was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we need a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”

The pair added that they’ve “shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected.” They also emphasized that their “connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.”

“As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling,” Amanda and West continued. “We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless. We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.”

“She thinks she’s still trapped in captivity!” 🐳 Lionsgate has debuted an official trailer for a very dumb new horror movie called Killer Whale, an Orca spin on the usual shark movie with all the same tropes. Step aside Free Willy, this one ain’t your friendly killer whale! The story follows best friends Maddie and Trish as they find themselves trapped in a remote lagoon with the dangerous killer whale named Ceto. Their peaceful retreat soon becomes a terrifying fight to stay alive when the ocean’s most bloodthirsty predator seeks vengeance for a brutal life in captivity. Get ’em, Ceto! Killer Whale stars Virginia Gardner, Mel Jarnson, and Mitchell Hope. It’s a lot like these shark movies such as The Shallows, The Reef, or Open Water, but with a few of its own twists. While I don’t enjoy seeing the beautiful Orcas be turned into villains, I’ll let it slide for one horror movie. Alas it looks awful – even the CGI seems worse than most shark movies. Oh well.

A Prolific True-Crime Producer Was Allegedly the Criminal the Whole Time

Hollywood’s true-crime boom has always thrived on the idea that monsters live somewhere else—on the other side of the screen, safely contained inside reenactments and ominous narration. But every once in a while, the call comes from inside the house.

This week, the FBI dropped a bombshell that reads like a script twist even Netflix would reject as “too on the nose.” Mary Carole McDonnell, a longtime true-crime producer and the woman behind Bellum Entertainment, has been placed on the FBI’s Most Wanted list—accused of being a prolific fraudster who allegedly conned banks out of nearly $30 million while posing as a wealthy aviation heiress.

Yes. The woman selling murder for a living, the feds say, was allegedly committing financial crimes the entire time.

You can’t make this up.

“They Don’t Pay on Time”

Back in 2017, showrunner Nigel Bellis got a heads-up before taking a gig with Bellum Entertainment.

“They have a habit of not paying on time.”

Bellis went anyway. Like so many in this industry, he gambled on a producer with momentum. Bellum was cranking out content at an insane pace—more than 50 episodes of Murderous Affairs shot in New Orleans. Payments were late, sure, but they arrived.

Then McDonnell dangled the Hollywood carrot: a bigger role, Los Angeles, upward mobility. Bellis packed up his life and moved.

Within weeks, the entire operation imploded.

Bellum went belly-up. Payroll vanished. Relocation money evaporated. And Bellis found himself trapped in a nightmare straight out of the genre he’d been producing.

“I had very little after the move,” Bellis said. “I was absolutely counting on that money.”

He wasn’t alone.

The Heiress Who Wasn’t

According to federal prosecutors, McDonnell—now 73—posed as an heiress to the McDonnell Aircraft fortune to secure massive loans. The FBI says she and her then-attorney Barry Rothman (who died in 2018) presented banks with fraudulent documents claiming she controlled:

— A $28 million bank account
— An $80 million trust

One lender, Banc of California, allegedly bought the story and extended a $15 million “bridge loan” while McDonnell supposedly waited for her trust to pay out.

Problem is, prosecutors say the money never existed.

The collateral account? Fake.
The trust? Fiction.

McDonnell defaulted. The FBI says similar schemes across multiple institutions brought her alleged take close to $30 million.

By the time a 2018 indictment dropped in the Central District of California, McDonnell was already gone—believed to have fled to Dubai, where the FBI now says she may still be operating.

“Publicity is an investigative tool,” an FBI spokesperson said this week. Translation: if you’ve seen her, heard from her, or been pitched by her lately—call us.

The Other Victims: Below-the-Line

Banks may have lost millions, but Hollywood’s lower-tier workers lost something else: time, housing, stability.

Bellis alone is owed roughly $500,000 in back pay, damages, and statutory penalties. Other Bellum employees and contractors won judgments years ago—and still haven’t seen a dime.

Joshua Koffman, another former Bellum producer, put it bluntly.

“If she’s caught, her assets will be seized,” he said. “And selfishly, I’m worried there won’t be anything left for the little people who worked for her.”

That’s the dirty secret of white-collar crime: when the hammer finally falls, it rarely lands where it should.

A Pressure Cooker Built on Smoke

Former staff describe Bellum as a nonstop grind—new shows constantly in production, old content sold off cheap to fund the next project, everything running hot and unstable.

But everyone agrees on one thing: Mary Carole McDonnell could sell ice to a funeral home.

That skill, former employees say, explains how the operation kept moving long after it should’ve collapsed—and how banks allegedly got played.

“Like a Knife in the Back”

Stephanie Manos joined Bellum in 2016 as an office manager in New Orleans. In reality, she did everything—set dressing, casting extras, acting in reenactments. It was fun. It was creative. It felt like a break from years of brutal work in garment factories and kitchens.

But it came at a cost.

Manos gave up a rent-controlled Echo Park apartment she’d lived in for 20 years—$750 a month, gone forever. When Bellum collapsed, she couldn’t afford to move back. That same apartment now rents for $2,800.

She stayed in New Orleans, burned through her savings, and eventually took a job at a funeral home.

“It was like a knife in the back,” she said. “She took advantage of all of us.”

True Crime, No Cutaways

Hollywood loves crime—just not when it’s real, and not when it’s happening on the payroll side of the call sheet.

Now, as the FBI hunts for a fugitive producer halfway across the world, a long line of unpaid workers is left watching from the sidelines, wondering if justice—like their checks—will ever actually clear.

In true-crime fashion, the irony is brutal:

The woman who made her money selling stories about deception, victims, and consequences may finally have to star in one herself.

And this time, there’s no reenactment.

“My dream was for my family to be normal and fit in.” These two! Love them! Variety has debuted one of the best “Actors on Actors” conversations they’ve ever recorded for this year’s awards season. It features father & son actors Alexander Skarsgård & Stellan Skarsgård discussing their films, their acting work, their family and so much more. Stellan Skarsgård is a beloved Swedish actor who has 8 kids in total – one of them is Alexander Skarsgård, along with his brothers Bill Skarsgård & Gustaf Skarsgård who are also actors. What I adore about this conversation is that it’s playful and honest and open – but also still fun and amusing and obviously jokey. When you put two actors in a room together, they’re going to riff, and some of this is not to be taken seriously. That said, I appreciate how deep they get chatting about acting. Variety has been making these “Actors on Actors” videos for years and years they’re always good to watch, but this one gets a special mention. I think they captured a genuine spark between them that makes it seriously special – enjoy.

Peter Greene died in his New York City apartment, and his cause of death is still a mystery. The late 60-year-old actor, who was famous for playing villains in films, was found deceased inside his Lower East Side, Manhattan, home, on December 12, 2025. His manager confirmed that he had a scheduled surgery to remove a tumor.

“He sounded okay … It was just a totally normal conversation,” Greene’s manager, Gregg Edwards, told the New York Post. Edward noted that he and Greene had spoken on December 10 to discuss the surgery that the Pulp Fiction star had coming up. “He was a little nervous about the operation going in, but he said it wasn’t super serious. … He was talking about that and hoping that I was going to be okay and wishing me well as I was wishing him well.”

Who Was Peter Greene?

Greene was a well-known film actor known for playing villainous characters. He was famous for playing Dorian Tyrell in The Mask and the security guard Zed in Pulp Fiction. His other notable film credits included Laws of Gravity, Clean, Shaven, Under Siege 2: Dark Territory, The Usual Suspects, Kiss & Tell,  Life on Mars and The Continental. The late actor’s most recent film performance was in the 2025 movie Beggarman, and he will appear in the 2026 film Clika posthumously.

What Did Peter Greene Die of? His Cause of Death

At the time of publication, Greene’s cause of death has not been determined. According to a neighbor, the late New Jersey native was found “lying on the floor, facedown, facial injury, blood everywhere…” per the New York Daily News.

Additionally, an ominous handwritten note that read, “I’m still a Westie,” was discovered at the scene. The term refers to the Irish-American 1970s organized crime gang from Hell’s Kitchen, New York.

Before Greene’s body was found, a neighbor said they heard Christmas music blasting from his apartment for more than 24 hours straight. A locksmith was able to open the door to Greene’s apartment, where he was discovered.

Greene didn’t make any health issues known to the public, but he had a scheduled surgery to remove a benign tumor near his lung, Edwards revealed.
