The original The Devil Wears Prada opened in 2006 and was a massive, beloved hit worldwide – this next one arrives in theaters May 2026 next summer, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the first film. This sequel follows Miranda Priestly’s struggle against Emily Charlton, her former assistant turned rival exec, as they compete for advertising revenue amidst declining print media while Miranda nears retirement. Everyone is back! Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci return in The Devil Wears Prada 2, with the same director – David Frankel – and writer – Aline Brosh McKenna. Featuring an all-new runway of characters this time including Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu, Patrick Brammall, Caleb Hearon, Helen J. Shen, Pauline Chalamet, B.J. Novak & Conrad Ricamora. Tracie Thoms and Tibor Feldman also reprise their roles as Lily & Irv from the first film. A very short teaser without much footage but just enough to get everyone excited for next year. 👠
Here’s the first teaser trailer for David Frankel’s sequel The Devil Wears Prada 2, direct from YouTube:

“A sequel? For spring? Groundbreaking.” Almost twenty years after making their iconic turns as Miranda, Andy, Emily and Nigel — actors Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci return to the fashionable streets of New York City and the sleek offices of Runway Magazine in the eagerly awaited sequel to the 2006 phenomenon that defined a generation. The Devil Wears Prada 2 is once again directed by American filmmaker David Frankel, director of the original The Devil Wears Prada (2006), as well as Miami Rhapsody, Marley & Me, The Big Year, Hope Springs, One Chance, Collateral Beauty, and Jerry and Marge Go Large. The screenplay is again written by Aline Brosh McKenna (who wrote the original and also 27 Dresses, Morning Glory, We Bought a Zoo, Annie, Cruella, Your Place or Mine). Produced by Karen Rosenfelt and Wendy Finerman. 20th Century Studios will debut David Frankel’s The Devil Wears Prada 2 in theaters nationwide starting May 1st, 2026 – set to kick off next year’s summer movie season. The Devil Wears Prada 2 teaser: Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway reunite after 20 years; fans ‘can’t wait for Miranda, Andy’
The makers of The Devil Wears Prada 2 have finally unveiled the teaser of the upcoming film. Taking to its YouTube channel, 20th Century Studios shared the less than one-minute teaser.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 teaser
The video began with Meryl Streep’s character, Miranda Priestly, walking to her office lift as people were busy working. As the lift was about to close, Anne Hathaway’s character, Andrea ‘Andy’ Sachs, entered it smiling and saying, “Miranda.” Very unlike her character, Miranda moved sideways briefly to make room for Andy. She then replied, “Took you long enough.” The video ended with Andy smiling and wearing her sunglasses as the lift closed.
Fans can’t wait to watch Meryl, Anne after two decades
Anne also took to her Instagram page and shared the teaser. She wrote, “It’s everyone’s birthday. #43 #DWP2.” The teaser was unveiled on her 43rd birthday. Reacting to the teaser, a fan said, “So gorgeous! I am looking forward to watching this. It will be a great success!” “Oh my God! I’m so excited for the next year. Can’t wait to see Miranda and Andy together again,” read a comment.
“The fact that Miranda actually moves to the side to give Andy more room is some major character development,” a person wrote. A social media user said, “Now THIS is how you make a teaser trailer. The heels, the music, Miranda, and finally Andy. Chef’s kiss.” “Meryl really is a shapeshifter! To see her in Only murders in the Building, then back in this role! What a class actor!” said another fan.

Rosalía blessed us last night with her highly anticipated fourth album Lux. The record explores religion and mysticism, both themes that she has been heavily leaning into with her outfits for recent press. She is often wearing all white or all black—the duality of lightness and darkness is a key motif on Lux.
Last night, at the Los40 Music Awards in Valencia, Spain, Rosalía arrived in head-to-toe black, wearing a custom Balenciaga S/S 26 look. She wore a cropped feathered top with her midriff exposed and a long, low-rise taffeta skirt with a thin Balenciaga logo belt. The look was quite literally topped off with bejeweled bug-eye sunglasses, the headpiece covering her halo-dyed hair like a helmet.

Bug-eye sunglasses have been picking up since Miuccia Prada put them on the runway for the Prada S/S 25 show, although instead of a bedazzled headpiece, her iteration featured a removable polka-dot headscarf. Everyone on the internet had much to say about this collection and the accessory in particular. It marked a stark aesthetic shift to funky and freaky instead of streamlined and subtle. The collection felt like a death knell to the quiet luxury look.

Against all odds, what felt destined to be a niche fashion-person look reserved for only high-end editorials and those in the know has now become… quite popular. Just look around, and you’ll notice all the most stylish people are wearing big sunglasses these days, and the Prada ones have been a best seller for a handful of seasons.
While Rosalía’s exact Balenciaga pair hasn’t hit stores just yet, we’re expecting it’ll continue to usher in the bug-eye-sunglasses movement. Thankfully, we’re ready for it.

It might surprise some, but Kendall Jenner is quite consistent with her wardrobe choices. While she’s recognized for her aspirational, elegant, model-off-duty style, she tends to stick to her favorite pieces. She has been seen many times carrying her The Row Henri and Lilou bags. She also favors Flore Flore tees and ALO leggings. Recently, however, one item has clearly become her favorite: The Row Stella Ballet Flats.
These sleek ballerinas feature a low-profile, slip-on design. On the brand’s site, they’re called a “slipper”—and it makes sense. They’re crafted from smooth nappa leather, which provides a flexible and comfortable fit, much like wearing a cozy indoor slipper. The oval toe design, center front seam, and V-cut vamp add a timeless yet modern touch that effortlessly enhances any outfit with sophistication.
On Kendall Jenner: Alo Yoga Snuggle Up Sweater Cropped Cardigan ($160), Softsculpt High-Waist Leggings ($134), Softsculpt Precision Bra($78); The Row Stella Ballet Flats ($920);
The most notable part is that Jenner wears these everywhere (no exaggeration), proving their versatility. In the past two months, she has been spotted wearing them with a pencil skirt for meetings in Paris, jeans when hanging out with friends in NYC, and even with leggings for Pilates in L.A.

On Kendall Jenner: The Row Stella Ballet Flats ($920), coat, pants; St. Agni Transparent Silk Cami Top ($495), Transparent Skirt ($405)
What makes the shoes even more interesting is that she isn’t the only fashion person who owns them. Style icon Jennifer Lawrence also has a pair, often seen wearing them, though not as frequently, in the brown colorway, paired with a slip skirt or straight-leg jeans. I’ve even spotted content creator Arielle Charnas in a pair yesterday, wearing them with black jeans and a suede jacket for her children’s school drop-off. If repeated sightings and endorsements from fashion insiders aren’t enough to convince you, I’m not sure what will.

Lady Gaga has reportedly joined the cast of The Devil Wears Prada 2, joining Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, and Emily Blunt for the sequel.
The original film, based on the 2003 novel by Lauren Weisberger, starred Hathaway as a journalism graduate who lands a job at a prestigious fashion magazine, assisting its foreboding editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly (Streep). The 2006 comedy was a critical and box office hit, with a follow-up announced last year.
Now, Deadline reports that the ‘Mayhem’ singer will be joining the cast in an as-yet-undisclosed role, following pictures of her on set recently emerging online. The film is scheduled for release on May 1, 2026, almost 20 years since the previous movie hit cinemas, and will focus on Priestly navigating the changing climate of print journalism.
Gaga has balanced her music career with a string of high-profile acting roles in recent years. Having played significant roles on the small screen in American Horror Story: Hotel and the most recent season of Wednesday, her biggest successes have come in film.

In 2018, she played the lead in A Star Is Born, a remake of the 1937 romantic drama co-starring Bradley Cooper as a troubled industry legend who mentors and falls in love with a talented newcomer (Gaga). The ‘Poker Face’ artist won an Oscar for Best Original Song for ‘Shallow’, and was nominated for Best Actress. She would also win a BAFTA and Golden Globe for the film’s music.
Last year, she played Harleen “Lee” Quinzel, a version of the character Harley Quinn, in Joker: Folie à Deux. While her performance was praised by critics, the film was a box office failure. Responding to the poor reception, Gaga told Elle: “I think to be an artist, you have to be willing for people to sometimes not like it. And you keep going even if something didn’t connect in the way that you intended.”
The announcement caps a busy year for the artist, who released her sixth solo studio album ‘Mayhem’ on March 7. She hosted SNL the same month to promote the release, and performed a headline set at Coachella the following month.
In July, she embarked on the ‘The Mayhem Ball’ world tour, which included a London residency at The O2. NME’s five-star review described it as “flawless camp theatre from a true pop icon”, writing: “Never one to hold back, the theatrical pop auteur is in world-building mode, creating a fantastical, camp horror universe within the arena that sees her do battle with another version of herself, at times flanked by skeletons, witches and plague doctors.”
Last month, unseen footage emerged of Lady Gaga planning cancelled 2009 ‘Fame Kills’ tour with Kanye West.
Justin Bieber Showcases Bond With Hailey Bieber and Son Jack in Adorable Family Photos
Jack Blues Bieber is the ultimate Belieber.
The 13-month-old son of Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber proved he’s his dad’s biggest fan as he bundled up in an adorable fashion homage to the “Somebody to Love” singer.
In a photo shared on Hailey’s Instagram page Oct. 4, the toddler sat with his back to the camera while wearing a cozy gray hoodie emblazoned with a picture of the “Somebody to Love” singer, taken from his 2010 album My World 2.0.
The sweet nod to Justin’s music history was part of what Hailey, 28, dubbed “Jacktober,” as she showcased pics of the little one modeling various fall looks, including a red and gray striped shirt and solid gray sweatpants. Another image showed Jack getting in the spirit of the season as he observed a skeleton seated atop a bale of hay and surrounded by pumpkins.
Jack also modeled a second look inspired by the Canadian-born singer, who is a noted Toronto Maple Leafs fan. In the fourth slide of the photo carousel, Jack donned a navy sweater bearing the hockey team’s logo, along with a pair of blue jeans and a red beanie hat.
Miranda Priestly is a few months from gagging the girls in her sequel! The fictional character, played by Meryl Streep, will be on the big screen in the spring of 2026 when ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ premieres. The release is a few months away, but Streep has still been on sets, pushing out scenes.

Meryl Streep Photographed As Miranda Priestly At D&G Runway Show
The devil wore Dolce & Gabbana on Saturday (September 27). Meryl Streep had a front-row seat at the designing duo’s Milan theater. While there, she was in character as Miranda Priestly for ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ sequel.

The actress wore her character’s customary sunglasses and a Dolce & Gabbana vinyl trenchcoat as she entered the theater escorted by security. Stanley Tucci, who plays Miranda’s art director in the film, trailed behind her. Throughout the runway show, Meryl Streep’s character consulted with Tucci. They cast their eyes up and down the runway as models passed. Meanwhile, music by Italian singer Patty Pravo played in the background.
The location will remind movie fans of a scene from the original film where Anne Hathaway’s character, after answering the phone, asks: “Can you please spell ‘Gabbana?’”

Will We See The Scene In ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’?
‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ has been shooting in Milan. And according to the Associated Press, the Dolce & Gabbana press office confirmed that the runway scene seen in the photos will be included in the sequel.
Fans of the fashion film will feature pieces from the Dolce & Gabbana Spring-Summer 2026 collection, including nightwear. From cozy men’s pajamas with rhinestone or embroidered details to black sheer and lace lingerie. The looks were layered with leather, brocade, and animal-print jackets. Footwear ranged from sexy stilettos to fuzzy slippers. The bag of choice was soft and furry, perfect for cuddling up after a night out.

The designers posed just a beat or two longer during their customary bow. Afterward, Meryl Streep and Tucci were whisked to the backstage area. Then, the real-life fashion crowd jumped on the empty runway to snap photos of the moment in fashion history.
There was another life-imitating-art-imitating-life meta moment at the D&G show. Anna Wintour, who inspired the 2006 film, sat across the runway from Meryl Streep in her role as Vogue’s global editorial director.
Streep Spotted In Costume Earlier This Year, Too
Streep has been filming for at least the last few months, as photos taken earlier this year show her on set as Miranda Priestly on July 23, 2025 in New York City.

What Do You Think Roomies?
Noah Wyle took his support for the real-life health care community to a new level at the 2025 Emmys.
The Pitt star, who won best actor in a drama series Sunday night, wore a custom tuxedo made by health care apparel company FIGS to the awards show.
Indeed, speaking with Entertainment Tonight on the Emmys red carpet, Wyle shared that his tux was made by scrubwear company FIGS, and he explained that months ago at the Gotham TV Awards, when he was wearing a tuxedo, he was asked if the suit was as comfortable as the scrubs he wears on the Max original series.
And Wyle said he took that opportunity to challenge FIGS to make a tuxedo for him, which he debuted at the Emmys.
Wyle, who showed off his suit on camera to ET, wore custom black-tie scrubs, the first tuxedo designed by a scrubwear company.
The midnight blue suit is designed to “feel clean, classic and sleek,” according to a press release from FIGS. The inner collar of the shirt also features the phrase “Awesome Human,” echoing FIGS’ slogan, “Awesome Humans Wear FIGS.”
FIGS notes that Wyle’s tuxedo is one-of-a-kind and designed solely for the Emmys and not available for sale.
“Tonight, Noah is proving that the health care community deserves a seat at every table, including television’s biggest night,” FIGS CEO and co-founder Trina Spear said in a statement. “By honoring health care workers, Noah’s commitment to authentically representing these extraordinary individuals on the red carpet embodies everything FIGS stands for. We are honored to create this one-of-a-kind piece that celebrates all health care workers off the screen. We thank Noah for championing health care workers and their stories through his art.”

Wyle has used his role on The Pitt to advocate for real-life health care professionals, regularly highlighting and expressing his appreciation for their hard work during interviews about the show. And when he won the best drama actor Emmy Sunday night, he shouted out everyone starting or coming off of a shift that night.
