Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli have separated after 27 years of marriage.

The Full House actor, 61, and the fashion designer, 62, “are living apart and taking a break from their marriage,” according to Loughlin’s representative Elizabeth Much.

“There are no legal proceedings at this time,” Much confirmed to People.

Loughlin and Giannulli married in 1997 and share daughters Bella Rose Giannulli, 27, and Olivia Jade Giannulli, 26.

The separation comes more than five years after the couple pleaded guilty and served jail time for paying half a million dollars to get both of their children into university during the Varsity Blues college admissions scandal in 2020.

In May 2020, Loughlin and Giannulli agreed to serve prison time as part of a plea deal in the college admissions bribery case. Giannulli agreed to serve five months under the deal and Loughlin agreed to a two-month sentence.

Loughlin and Giannulli were scheduled to go to trial in October 2020 on charges alleging they paid US$500,000 in bribes to get their daughters into the University of Southern California (USC) as crew team recruits, even though neither of them participated in the sport.

They insisted they were innocent and said they believed their payments were legitimate donations.

A judge rejected their bid to dismiss the case over allegations of misconduct by FBI agents investigating the scam.

Loughlin and Giannulli pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud in a plea agreement filed in Boston’s federal court.

Prosecutors agreed to dismiss charges of money laundering and federal programs bribery that were added after the case was filed.

“I made an awful decision and went along with a plan to give my daughters an unfair advantage in the college admissions process,” Loughlin said at the August 2020 sentencing, wiping away tears as she read a statement.

“I thought I was acting out of love for my children, but in reality, it only undermined and diminished my daughters’ abilities and accomplishments.”

“I take full responsibility for my conduct,” Giannulli said at the time. “I am ready to accept the consequences and move forward, with the lessons I’ve learned from this experience.”

Loughlin and Giannulli are among dozens of wealthy parents who were charged with participating in schemes organized by college admissions consultant William “Rick” Singer to bribe coaches and university insiders or cheat on entrance exams. The cases were prosecuted in federal court in Boston.

Others who pleaded guilty in the case include Desperate Housewives actor Felicity Huffman. She served nearly two weeks in prison in October 2019 after she admitted to paying $15,000 to have someone correct her daughter’s entrance exam answers.

Speaking about taking a break from TV for 7 years, Karan said, “I did TV for 5 years, and I waited for seven years. In those seven years, I was hosting shows, I was hosting reality shows, and I was hosting and dancing at weddings. I was doing whatever it took to run my house.”

The actor also opened up about why he never did Bigg Boss. He said, “Big Boss is not my scene. I think the Big Boss really throws you out in front of an audience, and people love consuming people from the Bigg Boss. I see my entire Instagram is always filled and flooded with people from Bigg Boss.”

He further added, “Jinko maza aata hai dekhne mein unko maza aata hai, mujhse toh dekha nahi jata. Mein toh itna ladai jhagde dekh hi nahi sakta jitna voh log kar lete hai. Mujh mein aur shamta nahi hai reality show karne ki, mene ek kiya tha aur mein samajh gaya. I am not the right person for this because I’m not an entertaining guy.”

Karan On Reality Shows

Karan opened up about reality shows and why he would never be a part of them. He said, “I feel like reality requires you to be entertaining slightly on the front foot, and in general, in real life, you have to be like you have to be slightly more flamboyant with your sense of entertainment, and you have to be that much more exuberant. Now, unfortunately, I’m not that. So I’m not somebody who can play that role. So for me, a big boss or any other reality show was always something that I didn’t look at at all.”

The split comes after Lori Loughlin and estranged husband Mossimo Giannulli listed their 11,800-square-foot Hidden Hills mansion for $16.5 million in February.

The news of the split was confirmed by People. Loughlin and her husband are parents to Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose Giannulli.

A representative for Loughlin, the Full House alum, provided an update on the separation.

What Loughlin’s representative said

Loughlin’s representative confirmed that there are ‘no legal proceedings at this time’. Thus, the couple could also try and work things out.

However, for now, “They are living apart and taking a break from their marriage,” Loughlin’s representative shared. There has been no official confirmation from the couple about the reason for the split. Notably, Loughlin and her husband have been facing a tough time in their personal lives as well.

In 2020, they pleaded guilty to wire and mail fraud, after they were accused of shelling out $500,000 to get their daughters into University of Southern California. They were falsely shown as recruits to the university’s crew team though they didn’t participate in the event.

Loughlin was given two months in federal jail, and her husband got five months. She had almost completed her sentence when she was released in December 2020. Since then, Loughlin has begun to reappear in television shows.

She played Abigail Stanton in When Hope Calls: A Country Christmas, the spinoff to When Calls the Heart. Loughlin also starred in the 2023 TV film Fall into Winter. She’s recently appeared on Curb Your Enthusiasm as well. Speaking about the secret to overcoming life’s challenges, Loughlin had told the publication: “As an actress, I hear ‘no’ a lot, so I just have to be myself and persevere and try not to let in negativity,” she said, adding “My advice is to just keep moving forward. Everyone has good times and bad times. That’s life. I think you just have to pick yourself up. Nobody said life was going to be a breeze. There’s beauty in life, but there’s also hardship in life.”

Arbaaz Merchant Opens Up About Aryan Khan After Years, Teases The Ba***ds of Bollywood Season 2

Aryan Khan’s friend Arbaaz Merchant has shared a heartfelt appreciation post for the director after the release of his show, The Ba***ds of Bollywood. This marks the first time since their 2021 cruise ship case that Arbaaz has spoken so openly about Aryan. He shared photos from the premiere night and reminisced about their childhood.

Arbaaz began the note by writing, “To Aryan – I remember when we were kids and I asked you, when do we expect to see you in the movies and you said it straight up, “I don’t want to be in the movies, but one day I’ll be making the best movies out there.” And Now, you have taken your first steps as a professional Film Maker. Not only it’s awesome, but it’s also the best show on Indian soil, By far. I’m so damn proud of you. May you continue to bring the best out of your scripts, actors, crew and everyone around you, just like you have, since the last 28 years of your life. Wishing (more like predicting) that you have the best career of all time. Now go and impress the world brother, we really can’t wait for more. (sic)”

He then appreciated Aryan’s co-writers and associates, Manav Chauhan, Ankit Dahiya and Ujwal Gupta. Arbaaz also extended the congratulatory message to the crew and ended his note by teasing season 2 of the show. He wrote, “To the crew, rest up, season 2 starts soon B****ds of Bollywood, out now on Netflix.”

This post comes after years of silence following the drug-related case in October 2021, when Aryan, Arbaaz, and others were detained during the NCB cruise raid. Since then, Arbaaz has rarely spoken publicly about Aryan.
Meanwhile, The Ba**ds of Bollywood, which marked Shah Rukh Khan’s son’s directorial debut, stars Lakshya, Sahher Bambba, Bobby Deol, Raghav Juyal, Anya Singh, Manoj Pahwa, Rajat Bedi and others.

It is streaming on Netflix.

‘Wheel of Fortune’ contestant wins $1M, biggest prize in show’s 49 years – National

A woman from Connecticut has made history as the biggest winner in Wheel of Fortune history, earning the right to buy as many vowels as she pleases.

During the Tuesday, Sept. 30 episode, Christina Derevjanik won a cash prize of US$1,035,155 on the game show, making her the fifth Wheel of Fortune contestant who has earned the million-dollar prize and the first since Ryan Seacrest took over hosting duties.

Derevjanik, a marketing manager at Con Edison, first won trips to Montana and Tokyo by solving puzzles to gain $35,155 in cash and prizes. She revealed that her boss was in the studio audience and when Seacrest asked what would happen if she were to win a million dollars, Derevjanik said, “I may be putting in my two weeks [notice] but we won’t tell her that yet.”

Then, in the bonus round, Derevjanik chose the category Living Things and solved the puzzle, which read: “PACK OF COYOTES.”

Seacrest opened the prize envelope and told Derevjanik that she won the million-dollar prize. Vanna White joined the pair, exclaiming, “I’m so happy for you!”

“Congratulations, you’re my first million-dollar winner. I have a tear in my eye,” Seacrest added.

After the episode, Seacrest confirmed to Derevjanik that she was the biggest winner in the show’s 49-year history, according to a statement from Wheel of Fortune.

“I have no words!” she responded. “I’m so happy to be part of history now.”

When asked how much she wanted to win, Derevjanik said, “I was trying to manifest this. I was hoping for confetti, but I never thought it would actually happen.”

During an interview with Good Morning America following her win, Derevjanik revealed that she didn’t put in her two weeks’ notice even though she won the big prize.

“My boss, who is also one of my good friends, she’s actually from L.A. originally, so she came with me and we joked, like, ‘Well, if you win the $1 million, I may be going home by myself in the office, might have to fill your spot,’” Derevjanik said. “So that was just a running joke, never thinking it would ever happen. But yeah, I’m going to be staying at work.”

Derevjanik also shared how she plans on spending her prize money.

“The first thing that I am spending that on is getting rid of all my student loans,” she said. “It’s something that, the last 15 years I’ve been out of college, I’ve just been like, ‘How am I ever going to pay this off?’ And now, it is just going to be such a relief and then hopefully, invest in a home in the next couple of years.”

The $1-million wedge was incorporated into Wheel of Fortune in 2008 at the beginning of Season 26. The top prize of $100,000 is replaced with $1 million if a contestant lands on the wedge, solves the puzzle and never hits a bankrupt after landing on the $1-million wedge.

The first $1-million grand prize was won by Michelle Lowenstein in October 2008, followed by Autumn Erhard in May 2013 and Sarah Manchester in September 2014, according to TV Insider. Actor Melissa Joan Hart also won the $1-million prize during an episode of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune in October 2021.

Of all the long-term celebrity marriages, I never really got a sense that Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were in any trouble. Now, I never believed that they were lovey-dovey 24-7, which is how they like to portray themselves. I think they both love to work and Keith has been on the road a lot throughout their marriage, just as Nicole has a jet-setting career as an actress and producer. Still, I thought they figured out how to make those schedules work for them. I guess not, because Keith apparently left Nicole in the early summer, and they are fully separated now.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have separated … TMZ has learned. Multiple sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ … the couple has been living apart “since the beginning of summer.”

We’re told Nicole has been taking care of their 2 children and, “holding the family together through this difficult time since Keith has been gone.”

As for why, we’re told it’s one-sided … Nicole did not want the separation and has been trying to save the marriage. One source said, “Keith has acquired his own residence in Nashville and has moved out of their family home,” which is also in Nashville.

As for whether the couple will divorce … to be determined. Keith and Nicole married in 2006. Their kids are 14 and 17.
