bitchy | Duchess Meghan filmed a ‘small cameo role’ in a movie in LA this week

by jummy84 November 7, 2025
written by jummy84

Late Tuesday and early Wednesday, Page Six published a trilogy of stories about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, all of them sourced and promoted from Kensington Palace. Prince William is not slick in the least, and the tabloid stories were part of William’s emotional-support smearing! In one of the stories, a “Hollywood source” swore up and down that people in LA absolutely hate Harry and Meghan, and that no one wants to work with them. Not even 24 hours later, the Sun and the LA trade papers got the tip that Meghan was actually at a studio, filming a small role in a movie with Brie Larson and Lily Collins. Hahahaha. From the Sun, an outlet which put this story on their cover (hahaha).

Stars will welcome back the Duchess of Sussex as she shoots a Hollywood movie. Lily Collins, Brie Larson, Jack Quaid — son of Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid — and Brit Henry Golding are among those filming Close Personal Friends.

Meghan, who announced her retirement from acting eight years ago, is on set today in Pasadena, LA, playing herself in the Amazon MGM Studios production about two couples, one famous and the other not.

Last night a studio source said: “This is a massive moment for Meghan and signifies a return to doing what she truly loves. She has been swamped with offers but this one felt right. It is Meghan’s way of gently putting her toe back in the water and seeing how she enjoys being back on set. Everyone involved is super-excited, and have been sworn to secrecy about her involvement. Prince Harry is, of course, really supportive and quite simply wants Meghan to do whatever brings her joy.”

[From The Sun]

Not “she has been swamped with offers”!!! Not an admission that people in LA love Meghan and want her to work on their films and TV projects! My god, this is so funny. What else… Variety confirmed the Sun’s story and they said Meghan filmed a “small cameo role” in the film about “a ‘regular’ couple that meets a celebrity couple while on a trip to Santa Barbara. When the two couples become friends, lines are crossed and things get awkward.” What’s crazy about that is… why not film Meghan’s cameo IN Santa Barbara, close to where she lives? Why did they ask her to schlep to the studio?? Anyway, People Magazine had this exclusive as well:

Meghan Markle’s newest role has her feeling “very relaxed and happy.” After eight years away from acting in film and television productions, the Duchess of Sussex is now working on a movie featuring stars Lily Collins and Brie Larson, an insider confirms to PEOPLE on Wednesday, Nov. 5. The Sun was first to report the news of Meghan’s new project after she was seen on the set of Amazon MGM Studios’ Close Personal Friends in Pasadena, Calif.

“Meghan was on the set today,” the insider exclusively tells PEOPLE, adding that Meghan has a small role in the project.

“She seemed very relaxed and happy,” the insider continued. “She introduced herself to everyone and was very sweet and down-to-earth.”

[From People]

Going from what I know about Lily Collins and Brie Larson, I bet both women were super-excited to see Meghan. Brie is very hippie/nature/granola, and I feel like Meghan definitely has that side to her too. Lily is a big deal over at Netflix (Emily in Paris) and so is Meghan, so they probably talked business. Anyway, it is cracking me up that Meghan was on a studio set in LA on the same day as Prince William’s Earthshot AND Harry was doing events in Toronto as well.

DWTS Season 34 Week 8 Rock & Roll Night: All Scores, Eliminations

by jummy84 November 5, 2025
written by jummy84

[This story contains spoilers from episode eight of Dancing With the Stars season 34.]

Dancing With the Stars‘ rocked and rolled all night Tuesday as the cast celebrated Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night.

Tuesday’s episode marked the return of group dances, which saw the cast cut into half as each group performed alongside one of the co-hosts, Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro.

Danielle Fishel and Pasha Pashkov were eliminated from Dancing With the Stars season 34 at the end of the episode.

At the top of the show, Ribeiro revealed the couple who finished at the top of the leaderboard would be granted immunity from the relay dances next week, and would earn bonus points towards next Tuesday’s 20th Birthday Party celebration episode — if they survived elimination, of course.

While both Whitney Leavitt and Alix Earle tied for the highest individual score of the night (both with a 39/40), the tie was broken by awarding immunity to Leavitt for having the highest cumulative judges scores from across season 34.

Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Leavitt, social media star Earle, Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles, The Traitors season three winner (and Zac Efron’s brother) Dylan Efron, actress Elaine Hendrix, conservationist (and son of Steve Irwin) Robert Irwin and comedian-actor Andy Richter comprise the remaining cast of celebrities, while Fishel was eliminated from the competition Tuesday night.

Hendrix suffered an injury last Tuesday that prohibited her from dancing on Halloween Night. Instead of performing live, she earned a 32/40 based on rehearsal footage reviewed by the judges. She was not eliminated from the show or prohibited to continue dancing, meaning she will perform an individual dance and partake in a group number on Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night.

After performing a Viennese waltz to “What the World Needs Now Is Love,” Hendrix gave a brief update on how she’s been doing since the injury, noting that she’s been feeling “very solid and strong and grateful.”

With only eight celebrities left in the competition heading into the episode, season 34 of Dancing With the Stars is nearing its end. After Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night, there are only three episodes left, including Nov. 25’s special three-hour finale.

Still, after Tuesday’s episode, none of the couples have yet received a perfect score from the panel of judges. Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night did see the first 40/40 handed out to Team Chicago, though no individual couples have earned a perfect score.

During the individual dances, Earle and Leavitt nearly earned perfect scores, both scoring 39/40. Chiles and Irwin trailed close behind them, with respective scores of 38/40 each.

Last week’s Halloween Night saw the couples perform spooky numbers and compete in the dance marathon, while Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jen Affleck and her partner Jan Ravnik were eliminated from the competition. (The Hollywood Reporter was in the ballroom to capture all the behind-the-scenes moments that cameras missed.)

Flavor Flav served as a guest judge alongside mainstay judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli.

The couple with the lowest combined total of judges’ scores and viewer votes is eliminated at the end of each episode. Live voting takes place during the East Coast airing of each show and ends shortly after the final performance is completed.

See the full list of scores for week eight of DWTS season 34 (aka Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night) below.

5 Coronation Street spoilers next week: David and Shona get heart-wrenching news

by jummy84 November 4, 2025
written by jummy84

A special episode of Coronation Street follows David and Shona Platt’s (Jack P Shepherd and Julia Goulding) devastation after being told their unborn daughter has a mass on her neck.

The floor falls from beneath the couple’s feet next week when the consultant tells them that the tumour could be cancerous.

Meanwhile, Fiz Dobbs (Jennie McAlpine) continues to struggle amid husband Tyrone’s (Alan Halsall) recovery, and Carla Connor (Alison King) can see straight through Becky Swain’s (Amy Cudden) behaviour.

The Driscoll clan try to get Will (Lucas Hodgson-Wale) on the right path, and Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey) makes a huge mistake in front of his sister’s social worker.

Here’s a look at everything happening in Corrie between Monday 10th and Friday 14th November.

5 Coronation Street spoilers next week

1. David and Shona Platt receive devastating news about their unborn daughter

Shona’s scan reveals something worrying ITV

David is raging following an argument with Kit (Jacob Roberts) at the precinct and shoves past him, leading to an arrest for assaulting a police officer. As a result, he fails to pick Shona up for her scan but Kit finally relents and drives him there.

The Platts gaze lovingly at the monitor, but the sonographer deals some bad news – the baby has a mass on her neck.

Later in the week, a special episode follows David and Shona’s journey as they prepare to speak to the consultant about their unborn baby.

David and Shona Platt have an argument in the hospital in Coronation Street

Shona can’t see that David is putting on a brave face. ITV

From Shona’s point of view, we see how much she’s struggling amid David’s casual attitude. She orders him out of the car and says she doesn’t want him at the hospital, unaware that he’s putting on a brave face to try to stay strong for them both.

The consultant confirms the presence of a tumour, and explains that should Shona decide to continue with the pregnancy, she’ll have to undergo complex surgery. The couple are shell-shocked when it’s revealed that their daughter could have cancer.

2. Carla Connor believes Becky Swain is lying about being targeted

Lisa stands with her arms crossed staring at Becky in Coronation Street

Is Becky telling the truth? ITV

Lisa (Vicky Myers) wonders whether Becky is telling the truth about being spied on at her flat. She’s offended, believing that her wife doesn’t trust her.

Later, Carla urges Lisa to see through Becky’s lies and that if she was really in danger, she wouldn’t be risking Betsy’s (Sydney Martin) safety by staying at No. 6. Little does she realise, Becky is listening in…

3. Fiz Dobbs reaches breaking point

Fiz shouts at her sewing machine in Underworld in Coronation Street

Fiz is in a bad way. ITV

Tyrone struggles to break up an argument between Ruby and Hope. Fiz has a meltdown at work and starts to smack her sewing machine in frustration, admitting to Izzy (Cherylee Houston), Kirk (Andrew Whyment) and Michael (Ryan Russell) that she’s stressed and struggling.

The next day, Michael lets slip to Ty about Fiz’s behaviour.

Wanting to start providing for his family again, Tyrone proposes going to work in the garage office. However, Kevin (Michael Le Vell) is in a bad way following his separation from Abi (Sally Carman-Duttine) and makes it clear that he isn’t going to open the business – he’s heading straight back to bed.

4. Will Driscoll is hiding something from his family

Megan talks to Eva, Ben, Will and Maggie in the Rovers back room in Coronation Street

Will returns from Leeds in a bad way. ITV

Eva (Catherine Tyldesley) hopes that James (Jason Callender) could be the key to helping Will settle in – by organising for him to attend some PT sessions. It becomes immediately clear that the teenager isn’t interested, and would rather focus on his phone.

Later, Will tells Eva and Ben (Aaron McCusker) that he’s heading to Leeds for a meeting with his old athletics team, but he’s not telling the truth. Coach Megan drops him home, and Ben insists on treating her to a pub lunch.

Will is clearly unhappy, but will he reveal why?

5. Brody Michaelis lashes out at Sally and Tim Metcalfe’s parenting

Sally and Tim have an argument with Brody in Coronation Street

Brody is furious with Tim and Sally ITV

Lou’s been fighting behind bars and is up in court. Sally (Sally Dynevor) and Tim (Joe Duttine) decide not to tell Brody, but Kit drops them in it and he lashes out, accusing them of denying him the chance to support his estranged mother.

Branding them useless foster parents, he’s shocked to see that Joanie and her social worker have overheard everything.

Shanice hugs Joanie as the social worker looks on shocked in Coronation Street

The social worker overhears everything. ITV

The trouble for the Metcalfes doesn’t end there – Sally spots that Tim is checking out Trisha’s social media, and she brands her a predator again. Tim asks his wife to change the record.

Your Horoscope This Week: November 2 To 8

by jummy84 November 2, 2025
written by jummy84

Gemini, Mars moves into Sagittarius on November 4th, and suddenly you’re not just craving connection — you’re demanding real partnership. The kind where communication feels electric and aligned, where conversations don’t loop in circles but actually go somewhere. This is happening in your relationship sector, so people might start projecting their stuff onto you, especially since Mars tends to stir tension before it brings clarity. But if you’ve been people-pleasing or avoiding the Big Talks, this week might blow that avoidance wide open. You may find yourself blurt-blessing truths in mid-convo like: “Wait…why are we even doing this if we both want different things?” Don’t regret it. You’re setting fires, yes, but they’re the kind that forge something stronger from the ash. Whether in business, love, or friendship, Mars is turning up the heat, and if the flame doesn’t grow with you, you’re allowed to walk away.

Then the Full Moon in Taurus on November 5th hits your subconscious sector like a lucid dream you don’t want to forget. This is the realm of endings, solitude, intuition, and rest, so if you’re suddenly feeling emotionally wiped out, it’s not just you being “too sensitive.” It’s your soul saying: Pause. Listen. Heal. This full moon is helping you end an old karmic loop: maybe a self-sabotaging behavior, an internalized fear, or a secret you’ve been carrying for way too long. Add to that Uranus retrograde re-entering Taurus two days later, and you might be up late at night processing dreams, journal prompts, or uncanny synchronicities. Pay attention to what your body is telling you to… your nervous system has been holding a lot. Give it a release. Baths, naps, nature, prayers, poetry, whatever grounds you, do it. This full moon is a gentle but firm push into surrender.

Taylor Swift continues her domination of the ARIA charts this week, locking in her fourth consecutive double-header as The Life of a Showgirl and “The Fate of Ophelia” remain at No. 1 on the Albums and Singles charts, respectively.

The feat marks yet another high in a standout year for Swift, with both her re-recordings and original material continuing to perform strongly in Australia. Her latest chart-toppers have held steady across Halloween week — a fitting flex for a pop sorceress who’s made chart magic her signature move.

Meanwhile, Australian country artist James Johnston celebrates a new career high, debuting at No. 5 with his sophomore album Where You’ll Find Me, which also lands at No. 1 on the ARIA Australian Albums Chart. It follows the success of his debut Raised Like That, which peaked at No. 7 in 2023.

British pop icon Lily Allen returns to the top 10 with West End Girl, her first album in seven years. The project opens at No. 6, becoming her fifth top 10 ARIA album. Her previous efforts include 2009’s chart-topping It’s Not Me, It’s You and 2014’s Sheezus, which peaked at No. 4.

UK rapper Dave also makes a strong entrance with The Boy Who Played the Harp, debuting at No. 7. It follows his 2021 project We’re All Alone in This Together, which reached No. 5.

Melbourne’s Paul Dempsey claims the No. 8 spot with Shotgun Karaoke Vol. II, a covers record that features renditions of songs by R.E.M., Patti Smith, Cher, and more. The Something for Kate frontman also lands at No. 2 on the ARIA Vinyl Albums Chart. Dempsey has a long history of top-charting albums, both solo and with his band, including No. 1 albums The Official Fiction (2003) and Desert Lights (2006).

On the Singles Chart, Olivia Dean continues her Australian ascent. “Man I Need” holds firm at No. 2, while “So Easy (To Fall In Love)” jumps to No. 7 from No. 22. Former hit “Nice To Each Other” climbs from No. 16 to No. 12. Dean now has five tracks in the top 50 as she gears up to perform at the ARIA Awards on Nov. 19.

Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours holds the No. 1 spot on the On Replay Albums Chart, while Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control” continues its reign atop the Hitseekers Singles Chart.

Kenshi Yonezu ‘IRIS OUT’ Holds at No. 1 for 6th Week on Japan Hot 100

by jummy84 October 30, 2025
written by jummy84

Kenshi Yonezu’s “IRIS OUT” extends its run at No.1 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 for a sixth straight week, topping the chart dated Oct. 29.

The Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc theme leads four metrics this week: — downloads, streaming, video views, and karaoke. Downloads dipped 26% from the week before, but the song returns to No. 1 on the metric for the first time in three weeks. Radio airplay continued to build for a second week, rising to 127% of last week’s points.

Yonezu’s previous longest consecutive streak at No. 1 was the five-week run of “Lemon” in January 2019 (seven total weeks at the summit). With “IRIS OUT,” he now sets a new personal record for consecutive weeks at the top.

JO1’s “Handz In My Pocket” moves to No. 2, soaring from No. 41 following its CD release. The single sold 692,223 copies in its first week, launching at No.1 for sales. Since debuting, JO1 have now placed all ten of their singles at No. 1 for sales. The CD release also lifted other metrics: downloads climbed from 19-3, streaming 40-33, radio 58-4, and video 65-47. Radio saw the sharpest increase, jumping to 655% of last week’s points.

At No. 3 is “JANE DOE” by Kenshi Yonezu and Hikaru Utada, rising a spot from last week. Karaoke increased to 108% of the previous week. HANA’s “My Body” climbs two notches to No. 4 as the breakout girl group places seven songs on the chart this week, including “Blue Jeans” at No. 6 and “ROSE” at No. 14.

Yonezu’s “1991” settles at No. 5, down two positions. The track comes in at No. 3 for streaming, No. 6 for downloads, No. 8 for video, and No. 14 for radio.

Elsewhere in the top 10, CLASS SEVEN’s first single “miss you” bows at No. 9, selling 18,522 CDs to place No. 4 for sales, while hitting No. 2 for radio and No. 89 for downloads. CUTIE STREET’s “We Can’t Stop Suddenly!” returns to the tally for the first time in about three months, charting at No. 10. The CD sold 50,567 copies to hit No. 2 for sales.

The Billboard Japan Hot 100 combines physical and digital sales, audio streams, radio airplay, video views and karaoke data.

Final Trailer for ‘Baahubali: The Epic’ – Global Re-Release This Week

by Alex Billington
October 29, 2025
Source: YouTube

“Everything a blockbuster should be!” It’s time to watch them battle (again)! Variance Films & Arka have launched final trailers for Baahubali: The Epic, a remastered + recut version of the two-part Baahubali epic series of movies. Arriving in theaters worldwide THIS weekend. Directed by S.S. Rajamouli, who later went on to make the world-shattering RRR, he also directed these two massive action movies Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017). Now he’s combined both into one big film, bringing together footage from both with technical enhancements and previously unseen scenes added in. When a lost prince is rescued and raised in exile, he grows up unaware of his past. Years later, he returns to uncover the truth about his father’s murder and his mother’s imprisonment, and will rise to reclaim his place as the rightful king. Yes he will! Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Epic stars Prabhas in dual roles, with Rana Daggubati, Anushka, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, and Nassar. For the uninitiated, these movies are totally awesome – as epic as anything can ever be. And this is a proper exciting, thrilling, spectacular big screen experience following a riveting story about this prince. Enjoy it in theaters.

Here’s the final official trailers (+ poster) for S.S. Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Epic, direct from YouTube:

You can also rewatch the other official trailer for S.S. Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Epic right here for more.

10 years before RRR took the world by storm, master filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli redefined Indian Cinema with his two-part Baahubali saga – from 2015 & 2017. Now, the epic tale of royalty, revenge, kings, and wars has been personally re-edited by the master himself into a single unforgettable cinematic experience, with fully remastered picture and sound (and a few new surprises), so audiences can reunite to experience the euphoria the way it was intended: on the big screen. When a lost prince (Prabhas) is rescued & raised in exile, he grows up unaware of his past. Years later, he returns to uncover the truth about his father’s murder and his mother’s imprisonment, and must rise to reclaim his place as the rightful king. Baahubali: The Epic (aka Bahubali) is directed by acclaimed Indian filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli, his 10th feature film at the time – he later directed RRR in 2022. Produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under Arka Media Works. Made in the Telugu film industry (in both Telugu & Tamil). Baahubali: The Beginning first released in 2015; Baahubali: The Conclusion in 2017. Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Epic opens in theaters worldwide starting October 31st, 2025 – with special screenings October 29th. Who wants to go watch it?

Taylor Swift’s ‘Showgirl’ Notches Third Week Atop Billboard 200

Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl adds a third week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart (dated Nov. 1), with 194,000 equivalent album units earned (down 43%) in the United States in the week ending Oct. 23, according to Luminate.

The Life of a Showgirl is only the second album in 2025 to spend its first three weeks at No. 1, following Morgan Wallen’s I’m the Problem, which spent its first eight weeks atop the list (of its total 12 at No. 1).

Elsewhere in the top 10 of the latest Billboard 200, Tame Impala claims its third top five-charted album, as Deadbeat debuts at No. 4.

The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units, compiled by Luminate. Units comprise album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). Each unit equals one album sale, or 10 individual tracks sold from an album, or 3,750 ad-supported or 1,250 paid/subscription on-demand official audio and video streams generated by songs from an album. The new, Nov. 1, 2025-dated chart will be posted in full on Billboard‘s website on Tuesday (Oct. 28). For all chart news, follow @billboard and @billboardcharts on both X and Instagram.

Of The Life of a Showgirl’s 194,000 equivalent album units earned in the latest tracking week, SEA units comprise 156,000 (down 34%, equaling 200.68 million on-demand official streams of the set’s tracks — it ranks at No. 1 on Top Streaming Albums for a third week), album sales comprise 38,000 (down 63% — it’s No. 1 on Top Album Sales for a third week) and TEA units comprise less than 1,000 (down 42%).

The chart-topping KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack holds at No. 2 on the latest Billboard 200 (96,000 equivalent album units, down 8%) and Wallen’s I’m the Problem is stationary at No. 3 (83,000, up 5%).

Tame Impala’s first full-length studio album in five years, Deadbeat, debuts at No. 4 with 70,000 equivalent album units earned. Of that sum, pure album sales comprise 37,000 (it debuts at No. 2 on Top Album Sales), SEA units comprise 33,000 (equaling 41.72 million on-demand official streams of the set’s tracks; it debuts at No. 7 on Top Streaming Albums) and TEA units comprise a negligible sum.

Deadbeat is the third top five (and top 10) project for Tame Impala, following 2020’s The Show Rush (No. 3) and 2015’s Currents (No. 4).

The new album was preceded by a trio of charted songs: “End of Summer” (No. 20 on Hot Rock & Alternative Songs, No. 7 on Hot Dance/Pop Songs), “Loser” (No. 15 on Hot Rock & Alternative Songs) and “Dracula” (No. 7 on Hot Rock & Alternative Songs, No. 19 on Alternative Airplay, No. 55 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100).

Deadbeat’s first-week sales were bolstered by its availability across seven vinyl variants and five deluxe CD boxed sets (containing a copy of CD and branded merch), alongside a standard CD, cassette and digital download album.

Sabrina Carpenter’s chart-topping Man’s Best Friend is steady at No. 5 on the latest Billboard 200 (43,000 equivalent album units, down 5%) and Cardi B’s former leader AM I THE DRAMA? falls 4-6 (40,000, down 21%).

Olivia Dean’s The Art of Loving is pushed down 6-7, though it gains 1% in its fourth week on the chart (and fourth week inside the top 10).

SZA’s former No. 1 SOS holds at No. 8 (31,000 equivalent album units, down 2%), Wallen’s chart-topping One Thing at a Time rises 10-9 (30,000, down 3%) and Alex Warren’s You’ll Be Alright, Kid dips 9-10 (nearly 30,000, down 7%).
