Nearly two years after season 1 premiered, Wednesday‘s second season was released on Netflix this summer, with part 1 premiering on August 6, and part 2 coming on September 3. Mubi has unveiled the first teaser trailer for the new Jim Jarmusch film Father Mother Sister Brother. The clip features a lot of Tom Waits, who stars alongside Adam Driver, Mayim Bialik, Cate Blanchett, Vicky Krieps, Luka Sabbat, and others. Watch the video below.

Father Mother Sister Brother opens in U.S. theaters on Wednesday, December 24. It premieres this Sunday, August 31, at the Venice Film Festival.

Father Mother Sister Brother is writer and director Jim Jarmusch’s feature film since 2019’s The Dead Don’t Die. The new movie, according to a press release, is “carefully constructed in the form of a triptych. The three stories all concern the relationships between adult children, their somewhat distant parent (or parents), and each other. Each of the three chapters takes place in the present, and each in a different country.”

Tom Waits has a long collaborative history with Jim Jarmusch, dating back to 1986’s Down by Law. He’s since appeared in 2003’s Coffee and Cigarettes and The Dead Don’t Die, while also doing the soundtrack for 1991’s Night on Earth.

Emilie Kiser found success as a social media content creator, but she always puts her kids first and foremost. The 26-year-old influencer regularly shared family photos with her Instagram and TikTok followers — from simple at-home moments to international getaways — and it’s clear that she loves being a mom to her son, Theodore “Teddy.” Her late son, Trigg, however, died at the age of 3 after drowning in a backyard pool in May 2025. After that, she stayed offline for several months.

Below, learn all about Emilie’s family according to the moments she’s shared with fans.

Who Is Emilie Kiser?

Emilie is a social media content creator. She shares lifestyle videos and photos on Instagram and TikTok, where she boasts a combined following of more than 4 million followers. Thanks to her years of experience as an internet influencer, Emilie has scored invites to upscale celebrity events. In 2023, she was invited by Rare Beauty to attend one of its events, where she met founder Selena Gomez.

Emilie Kiser’s Husband

Emilie is married to Brady Kiser. The two tied the knot in early 2020, according to photos they shared to Instagram at the time.

After the death of their son Trigg in May 2025, Brady was investigated for possible child abuse because he was watching Trigg and Teddy the day Trigg drowned. The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office decided not to indict Brady, though, noting in a statement that he would “not be charged in the drowning death of his son because there is no reasonable likelihood of conviction.”

Emilie Kiser’s Children

Emilie welcomed her eldest child, Trigg, in 2021, and her youngest, Theodore “Teddy,” in 2025, as seen through photos on her Instagram account. Based on what she’s said about motherhood, Emilie truly loves caring for her kiddos. On Mother’s Day in May 2024, Emilie gushed that being a mom is “the best role [she’s] been given” and that she is “so lucky” to have her children.

One year later, though, Emilie’s son Trigg made headlines after a 3-year-old child’s drowning was reported to have taken place in May 2025 in Chandler, Arizona. First responders administered CPR to the young victim, and the unidentified child was eventually airlifted to a hospital, according to USA Today. Chandler PD’s interim police media manager, Sonu Wasu, said in a statement that the incident is “still an ongoing and open investigation.”

On May 18, Trigg died, per Us Weekly. Chandler police told the outlet the child died that afternoon and released the following statement: “The investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident remain ongoing. This is still an open investigation. Out of respect for the family’s privacy, we will not be releasing additional details until the investigation is closed.”

That August, Emilie broke her silence on her late son’s tragic death in a statement she shared to TikTok.

“Trigg is our baby and our best friend,” the statement began. “The light and spirit he brought into this world was bright, pure, joyful, and undeniable. We miss him every second of every day and continuing forward often feels unbearable. I never thought we would experience grief in this way or the pain of losing him so suddenly. It’s a pain, heartache, and void that no family should ever have to endure.”

Emilie then took “full accountability as Trigg’s mother, and I know I should have done more to protect him,” she continued. “One of the hardest lessons I carry is that a permanent pool fence could have saved his life, and it’s something I will never overlook again. I hope amidst this pain, Trigg’s story will help prevent other children and families from suffering the same loss.”

With that philosophy in mind, the two set out to spread joy far and wide through noshing.

“Our snacks are thinly, or skinny, dipped. … We wanted to offer the perfect balance of healthy and delicious, plus sweet and salty,” she adds.

It’s no wonder why their whole roasted almonds and cashews dipped in chocolate or yogurt, and peanut butter cups made with real peanut butter and caramel, have earned A-list approval.

“They satisfy cravings without the guilt. … We focus on eating real, whole foods in moderation, and try to avoid ultra-processed foods as much as possible,” Breezy says.

“We’ve always believed that the kind of food we whip up and share with our loved ones should be made available to everyone,” she continues while celebrating the release of their Pumpkin Spice Almonds.

SkinnyDipped

In addition to enjoying their favorite nutritious dishes, the duo prioritizes wellness in their daily routines.

“I swear by getting on the Peloton four times a week, doing a few cold plunges weekly, and walking as much as I can. … I also carve out moments to pause, breathe, and find stillness,” Val shares.

As for Breezy’s regimen? “I try to fit in movement, whether it’s a workout, or taking calls while walking. I cold plunge when I can and spend as much time outdoors in nature as possible.”

The Best Dressed Stars of the Week Went Flirty With an Edge

Plenty of A-list stars may be on summer vacation this month (it’s most definitely a Euro Summer!), but that didn’t stop a stylish crop of celebrities from continuing to serve up some fashion drama on the red carpets this past week. The best dressed stars over the past few days were those who leaned into a refined sense of summery style: notable names like Rihanna, Margot Robbie, and Bella Hadid all chose fun and feminine silhouettes that had unexpected edge to them, too.

Then there was Dakota Johnson, who slinked about L.A. in a metallic silver Gucci strapless gown. It was Old Hollywood, yet that sharp metallic shade felt unwaveringly modern as well. Ditto for actor Viola Davis, who delivered one of the best colorful moments of the week in her slinky tangerine orange Ralph Lauren gown, worn to the inaugural Televerse Festival. Her head-turning hue proved that when you have a great color scheme (and some sexy cutouts), you don’t need much else to have a fabulous and formal evening look.

Some more rock and roll looks this week shined as well. Lady Gaga hit the town in New York City ahead of her Mayhem Ball wearing a black Norma Kamali jumpsuit and cropped Balenciaga blazer—complete with her signature death-defying platforms, naturally. In L.A., Margot Robbie also slipped into a black, skin-tight Vivienne Westwood corset, and paired it with a mini skirt to boot. It may not be her pink Barbie method dressing wardrobe, but something tells us her stylish press tour for her new upcoming film, A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, will have some statements to make.

Sophie Turner fears for young stars due to the toxicity of social media.

Sophie Turner is worried about the impact social media has on young actors

The 29-year-old actress was just 13 when she was cast in the HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones and admits that she is concerned about performers who are thrust into the spotlight at an early age because of the cruel nature of the online sites.

Sophie told Flaunt magazine: “I look at the kids who are about to be in the new Harry Potter and I just want to give them a hug and say, ‘Look, it’s going to be okay but don’t go anywhere near (social media).’

“Stay friends with your home friends, keep living at home with your family, make sure your parents are your chaperones – it’s so important to have that grounding adjacent to the big, crazy stuff that you do.”

Sophie recalled how her confidence dropped as social media became increasingly prominent after Game of Thrones started airing in 2011.

She said: “I think social media was just really becoming a big thing after I started on Game of Thrones, so I got a couple of years of peace and quiet and then I had to adjust. It had such a profound impact on my mental health, like more than I could tell you.

“It almost destroyed me on numerous occasions.”

Sophie even stated that she will refuse to allow her own children – daughters Willa, five, and Delphine, three, from her marriage to former husband Joe Jonas – to act until they have grown up.

The Trust star said: “Oh God, they’re not acting! Not until they’re at least 25!”

Turner appears alongside Game of Thrones co-star Kit Harington in her upcoming movie The Dreadful and is determined to work on projects that generate discussion.

She explained: “I do like to make things that people can walk away from and they feel able to change something about themselves or feel inspired to do something.

“I want to do more unusual stories – I want to do more A24-type projects where they’re super unique and very niche.”

Sophie and Kit play lovers in The Dreadful and the former admits that it was a strange dynamic alongside a person she describes as “like a brother in real life”.

She said: “We suddenly went, ‘Oh s***! Why have we committed to playing a couple?’ It was really weird.”

However, the pair got on with it and had a “great time” together.

Sophie said: “As ever, he’s the biggest, most uplifting big brother I could ask for, bar my own two real-life brothers.”

Prime Video finally reveals their official trailer for Hedda, the next new film from Nia DaCosta after she made Marvel’s The Marvels (and before she went on to direct 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple which is out next year). Adapted from the Henrik Ibsen play “Hedda Gabler“, DaCosta reinvents the story to tell it from a different angle. Hedda is a provocative, modern reimagining of this classic play. Tessa Thompson stars as the titular Hedda Gabler, who finds herself torn between the lingering ache of a past love and the quiet suffocation of her present life, including feelings for the provocative author Eileen Lovborg. Over the course of one charged night, long-repressed desires & hidden tensions erupt — pulling her and everyone else into a spiral of manipulation, passion, and betrayal. “Just a little chaos.” Starring Tessa Thompson, Imogen Poots, Tom Bateman, Nicholas Pinnock, and Nina Hoss.
