Lenny Founder Lindsey Davidson Shares Why Stars Look So Good in Their Vintage Denim and How You Can Too

by jummy84 December 6, 2025

Lindsey Davidson, founder and CEO of Lenny, is making denim dreams come true from her Studio City, California vintage jean outpost.

Rachel Bilson, Whitney Port, Hannah Berner, Carole Radziwill, Katie Lowes, and more are flocking to the destination for perfectly worn-in Levi’s, Wrangler, Lee, and rare European styles in every wash imaginable, plus Davidson’s expert eye.

“My connection to vintage denim began early. I was a total tomboy growing up and practically lived in jeans, so when it came time to build a brand of my own, it felt only natural that it would center on denim and the romance of vintage,” she tells ET.

Whitney Port/Instagram

That adoration comes down to the history woven into every pair she carries.

“We put a lot of effort into finding truly unique washes and silhouettes because that’s the magic of vintage. No two pairs are the same. What captivates me most about vintage denim is the life it has lived before you. … The whiskering, the fading, and the subtle imperfections are all part of the charm and what makes vintage so special and one-of-a-kind,” Davidson explains.

To make them even more original, the entrepreneur offers one-on-one in person and virtual appointments where she provides tailored tweaks to the waist, hips, and seat for a flattering fit, along with custom embroidery options.

Lenny

“The best tip for creating the perfect pair of jeans is to start with a size that’s close to your own. A lot of people think they need to go up two or three sizes, but that really only works if you’re going for a baggy, oversized look.”

Instead, her approach prioritizes the integrity of the denim and the person wearing it.

“We only offer customizations that make sense for that specific pair to ensure the fit, quality, and character remain intact. … By honing in on those key fit points, we can make thoughtful changes that enhance shape and comfort while keeping the craftmanship of the jeans,” she shares.

Carole Radziwill/Instagram

And while requests vary, one universal desire remains. “When it comes to denim, everyone wants their booty to look good. … Shaping in that area can make all the difference. … There’s no better feeling than wearing a pair of jeans that fits you perfectly. It’s the ultimate confidence booster.”

That attention to detail and emotional understanding is exactly why It-girls gravitate toward her.

Hannah Berner/Instagram

“Everyone, celebrity or not, appreciates something personal and intentional. … We take the time to understand the fit, the fabric, and how someone wants to feel when they put on their jeans,” Davidson says.

“Denim can be such a battle for so many women, so our goal is to make the experience fun and supportive. … We love helping people feel good in a pair of jeans that truly feels like them.”

written by jummy84

A new Mirrorball champion was crowned on the Season 34 finale of Dancing With the Stars. After a hard-fought finale, Robert Irwin and Witney Carson were named the season’s winners.

Now, Carson has joined the two-timers club on DWTS, as this was her second win in her 15 seasons as a pro. She previously took home the Mirrorball in her second season as a pro, Season 19, with Alfonso Ribeiro.

There are several pros who have one secured one victory over 20 years of DWTS: Alec Mazo, Karina Smirnoff, Tony Dovolani, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Emma Slater, Lindsay Arnold, Sharna Burgess, Alan Bersten, Artem Chigvintsev, and Daniella Karagach have all won a single season. But the DWTS pros in the photo gallery below are all repeat winners.

Scroll down for a list of pros from the dance competition show who have won more than once, and to see who’s taken home the most Mirrorballs over the years.

How ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 34 Became Must-See Live TV

by jummy84 November 25, 2025
written by jummy84

Over the last decade, Ryan O’Dowd has written some of the biggest live moments on television — including those from the past seven years of “Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve With Ryan Seacrest” and awards shows like the CMAs, the Billboard Music Awards and the Emmys. And he’s always loved the rush of live TV.

“I love the immediacy of it,” O’Dowd, president of unscripted at BBC Studios, says. “I loved, as a writer, the ability to have something happen, to react to it, to think of what we could do that would entertain and engage literally within three minutes coming out of a commercial break. We’d come up with the idea to pitch it to the host, have them be behind it, get it into the teleprompter, and have 40,000 people in an arena see it three minutes later.”

This year, the idea that “live TV is back” is bigger than ever, and he sees that every single week. Serving as an executive producer on “Dancing With the Stars,” the largest live entertainment television show of the year, O’Dowd has a front seat to the massive ratings, the millions of votes coming in between 8 and 10 p.m. Eastern every Tuesday night and, more than ever, the engagement on social media.

“Within the last few years in particular, with TikTok, that has become an engagement unlike anything I had ever seen,” says O’Dowd, who is keeping an eye on that engagement during every live show from inside the studio, and watches people join the official “Dancing” account’s TikTok Lives during commercial breaks.

“It’s just an amazing continuation. It’s a whole separate vehicle that, luckily, our pro dancers and the celebrities on the show have embraced, and they’ve seen the power of being able to tell their story and connect comedically with their audience,” he says. “Going into this season, Andy Richter didn’t have much of a social media presence, to be honest, or he wasn’t very active on social media. And then within a few weeks, he saw the power of being able to engage and leverage a devout following. The more he put out, the more he got back in terms of fandom. Next thing you know, you have a fan base with a name ‘The Fandies,’ and Johnny Knoxville was coming to support him in a bedazzled ‘Vote for Andy’ shirt that he bedazzled.”

Ryan O’Dowd, BBC Studios; Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli

At the time of publishing, Richter has more than 122K followers and 968K likes on TikTok, and he’s on the lower end of the spectrum: His partner, Emma Slater, hit 1 million Instagram followers ahead of the finale. The most popular cast member on social media is Robert Irwin, with 9.7 million TikTok followers and nearly 9 million on Instagram.

One Instagram account, Pop Culture Data, is followed by multiple execs who work on the show and tracks the contestant and pro follower counts by week, with Irwin at the top each time. (After week one, his combined Instagram and TikTok growth was +343,220. Danielle Fishel, Whitney Leavitt, Alix Earle and pro Daniella Karagach gained spots in the top five in the weeks that followed.)

“TikTok has been a great vehicle for the show, and it serves the show, and the show serves TikTok. It’s become a symbiotic relationship, that everybody wins,” O’Dowd says. Luckily, there’s an excellent social media team in place — even though the pros and celebrities seemingly need much help in that arena. “Their talents go beyond what they’re seeing on the dance floor. They come in every week, embracing it, asking, ‘What are the videos and the content that we can put out that will tease what we’re doing this week, that will engage an audience?’ The best example is what Daniella and Dylan did with the air walk. They’re very smart, and it’s going to start a conversation. It’s a viral moment that people are gonna be talking about. I have seen 100 different videos of couples this past week recreating that. It’s just the gift that keeps on giving, where they’re able to choreograph something that gets people talking and then doing user-generated content that then keeps us in the zeitgeist 24/7.”

It helps, O’Dowd notes, that there’s a “healthy competition” among the entire cast. “When you get those viral moments, all of them go back to the drawing board, wanting to choreograph and create their own viral moment.”

As always, with more viewers — Prince week became the most-watched semifinals in seven years — comes more opinions. This season, Carrie Ann Inaba has been getting the brunt of the negative feedback for her judging. Elsewhere, contestants and pros alike have spoken up about online bullying that comes along with being on a competition show.

“To Carrie Ann’s credit, there are times that she’s the last to speak. She has plenty of positive things to say, but she’s looking at the totality of X number of seconds allotted to the judges, and if Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough have already touched on the positive attributes of the dance they just saw, and she knows that there is one slight misstep, she’s going to — for the good of the show — talk about that,” says O’Dowd. “Everything can’t always be positive across the board. Part of what viewers, I think, want is the ability to understand what each of these dancers needs to do to get better.”

Plus the pros, celebrities and audiences appreciate real feedback, he says — and don’t want to hear only praise week after week. “It diminishes the moments when someone is truly deserving of emphatic praise across the board. So you need a diversity of opinion. You need to point out when something is great and conversely, when something could be better.”

Alfonso Ribeiro, Julianne Hough, Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas

Disney

Semifinals saw the most shocking elimination of the season, with Whitney Leavitt being eliminated despite being one of the best celebrity dancers in the group. But, people aren’t just voting on the merits of the dancing, O’Dowd says as a reminder. On Season 3 of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” which premiered on Nov. 13, Leavitt admitted she only came back to the Hulu show for a shot at “Dancing With the Stars” — and some viewers didn’t like that type of honesty.

“Obviously, she has ‘Secret Lives of Mormon Wives‘ that just came out that previous week on Hulu. And I’d be lying if I said that I didn’t think that played a role,” he says. “Our job is to really just give her a platform and an opportunity to display her dance to the best of her abilities, and to allow her to reach an audience that can vote based on what they’ve seen that night.

“She was clear with her intention,” O’Dowd continues. “We should be celebrating someone who’s been very clear with what their intentions and motivations are, and who has, in some ways, realized the dream that she had and the goal that she had. So why see it for anything other than her just chasing her dream — which is something we all should aspire to?”

After such a successful season, the pressure is on for Season 35 next fall, and the conversations around casting have already begun with Deena Katz, who’s been part of the show since day one.

“She is always two steps ahead in terms of people who we not even know today. She has a finger on the pulse, knowing that, come September of next year, these people are going to be big, which is exactly what you did with Robert Irwin,” says O’Dowd. “There’s an admitted pressure to match, if not exceed, the type of cast that we’ve delivered this season. We all have already begun speaking about who those names are and what we can do. We’ve also, very deliberately, held a couple spots until the last few weeks, to be able to book somebody that nobody really knew prior to that exact moment, and to be able to be nimble and act immediately.”

The casting process will likely be a bit different next year, since Season 34 has become such a juggernaut, and has changed the perception of the show.

“Many years ago, when we were in a bit of a lull, it wasn’t as sexy of a proposition to come on ‘Dancing.’ There was this notion that it’s kind of the last chapter of your career. What I’m personally very proud of is that now we’ve built the brand to be a place where this can be a launching pad for so many new opportunities post-‘Dancing,’” says O’Dowd. “I can’t tell you how many talent on the show this season whose reps have said to ABC they are blown away by the amount of opportunities that have presented themselves.”

So, what will change going forward? When Tom Bergeron came back into the ballroom, he mentioned that he’d like to see the return of the results show; “Dancing With the Stars” previously aired two nights a week, one night for dances, the second for the elimination.

“My personal opinion is, while there is one school of thought that when you’re at the height of the brand, you should chase more hours, that actually, you’d be sacrificing the longevity of the series, and you would be diminishing the value of the main show,” O’Dowd says. “I think why we’re getting the viewership and the engagement that we’re getting right now is that on every Tuesday night, from 8-10, you’re going to see multiple performances, you’re able to engage live on social media, and at the conclusion of that two hours, you’re gonna get to see someone, based on the performances you just witnessed, go home. There’s a resolution to everything that just happened in that given episode.”

But there’s still an opportunity for more. “I think what we would prefer to do is to find ‘Dancing With the Stars’-adjacent vehicles to harness the leverage, the interest in the brand, but not diminish the main show. I really believe that the main show being a two-hour show — we get a beginning, middle and end and a resolution — is why we have the engagement that we do.”

From 2006 to 2018, “Dancing” aired two seasons a year — one in the fall, one in the spring. But O’Dowd feels similarly skeptical about the possibility of bringing back a second cycle. “I think the build-up and the intrigue of who we’re gonna cast on the show leading into the fall is so much more heightened when you’ve had a bit of a breathing room,” he says. “I think a second cycle, which we’ve done before, you’re chasing a short-term gain at the expense of the longevity of the series.”

Plus, the “DWTS: Live” tour runs from January to May, giving fans a way to stay in the “Dancing With the Stars” bubble. Not only are fans around the country able to have meet-and-greets with the professional dancers and celebrities, but the word continues to spread on social media from the tour.

“We joke about how 10 years ago, we had to make sure the tour was safe for walkers. Now, we have college students lining up — thousands of them buying merch,” he says. “We have the tour buses come out, and hundreds of people are lining up outside the barricades of people wanting to get a photo with our pros before the tour bus takes off for the next city.”

Previous champions Rumer Willis and Kaitlyn Bristowe returned for the 20th anniversary show.

Disney

Of course, another way to expand the popularity of “DWTS” would be to do an all-stars season, especially because many viewers feel that some runner-ups and third-place celebs should have won the mirrorball.

“We’ve talked about it; we’ll continue to talk about it. We’re not closing the door on it,” he says. “The allure of the show is, who are the people we’re going to cast that you’ve never seen before? We had an element of it in the 20th birthday episode, of course, where we brought back previous winners, and that was great. But I think the beauty of the show is getting to see new people each and every cycle, some of whom you may never have even heard of prior.”

O’Dowd and BBC Studios: Los Angeles produce a great deal of television, working with top talent — from Joel McHale on “1% Club” and Jany Lynch on “Celebrity Weakest Lunch.” They’ve created “Life Before Zero” for Nat Geo and “Outlast” for Netflix,” and are bringing back “Ladies of London” to Bravo.

“I’m proud of what we’ve been able to do to grow the business to a place where we’re having a show in pretty much every genre within unscripted, and that breadth allows us to do much more,” O’Dowd says.

And the success of “Dancing With the Stars” has only taught him how to succeed further in every genre.

“Creating shows that bring people together has never been more important. What we’ve always strived to do, but are making even more conservative efforts to do as a result of this season of ‘Dancing,’ is to create shows that are part of the conversation, that engage an audience on social media and get people talking — that allows for a younger audience without alienating a core older audience, if it’s pre-existing format,” O’Dowd says. “But I think the biggest thing is that live TV community has never been stronger and it’s about doing things that bring people together.”

The finale of “Dancing With the Stars” airs Tuesday, Nov. 25 at 8 p.m. ET. on ABC and Disney+. It will stream the next day on Hulu.

The Best Dressed Stars of the Week Kicked Off Holiday Season

by jummy84 November 16, 2025
written by jummy84

When does festive season officially kick off? When does your tree go up, the presents come in? The jury is out—but among the best dressed stars in the world of celebritydom, jingle bells are ringing, and frocks are shimmering.

This week, the stars embraced the forthcoming festivities in both sumptuous satins and eye-catching sequins. While many looked to classic silhouettes, it was in their intricate finishings, fun textures, and considered spins of the color wheel that things hit on a seasonal sense of sartorial joy.

Take Anya Taylor-Joy, heading to party with Tiffany & Co. in a white corseted Dilara Findikoglu mini-dress with lace accents that elevated the LWD. Elle Fanning—styled by Samantha McMillen—who delighted in sky blue and bouquet-printed Rodarte, with a swishy matching scarf an elegant and dynamic detail. A pink and sparkly good witch Ariana Grande (dressed by Law Roach) stepped out for a night at the Singapore premiere of Wicked: For Good, debuting Balenciaga designer Pierpaolo Piccioli’s first custom couture offering. The gown’s shifting sizes of sequin created an affect not unlike Glinda’s traveling orb. Rosamund Pike opted for Jonathan Anderson’s Dior Couture for the Now You See Me: Now You Don’t premiere: a drop-waisted, fluid cowl-necked gown in a buttery shade of yellow with frosted white leafy sprigs adorning the mid-hemline.

Next came Demi Moore—styled by Brad Goreski—who opted for an ultra-sheer, clingy black lace Gucci gown that proves there’s still more to give to the naked dress phenom. Olivia Rodrigo attended the GQ Men of the Year awards and kept it cool and classic in Tom Ford: a minimal dress silhouette, leveled up with blue shimmer. A-listers are hitting the holiday party circuit hard with their fashions—where do we go from here? It’s all to play for among the best dressed!

Which were your favorite celebrity looks this week? Vote below, and check back on Friday to see who Vogue readers crowned best dressed.

Prince William makes surprise cameo on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ – National

Prince William made a surprise appearance on Dancing with the Stars on Tuesday night to show his support for contestant Robert Irwin.

The Prince of Wales, 43, popped in unexpectedly during the 20th anniversary episode of the competition dance show to share a few words of encouragement with Irwin, an Earthshot Prize ambassador for William’s environmental initiative, which aims to find innovative solutions to repair and protect the planet.

Irwin, 21, told his dancing partner Witney Carson that he was supposed to be in Brazil for the Earthshot Prize awards in Rio de Janeiro on Nov. 5 but he had to tell William, “Sorry, I can’t make it. I’m still here.”

“We’re missing you, Robert,” William said in a video message. “Whilst your twinkle toes are going off elsewhere, I need you down here.”

William told Carson that she needs to “get him in as much glitter as you can.”

“Guys, you’ve got a seriously good chance of winning it,” William said during the FaceTime call. “So, just the best of luck on the show.”

“I can’t believe he just said my name,” Carson said.

Irwin went on to say that he was dedicating his foxtrot to Leona Lewis’s Footprints in the Sand to his sister, Bindi, 27.

“We are doing this dance for Bindi, and we are doing this dance for Prince William, so let’s not mess this up,” he said.

Bindi had danced to the same song during her time on Season 21 of DWTS, which she won alongside professional dancer Derek Hough.

“A part of me healed that day. So now I hope that Robert gets that same experience,” Bindi said.

At the end of the number, Bindi joined her brother and Carson on stage and they wrapped their arms around each other’s shoulders before kneeling as scenes of their childhood with their late father, Steve Irwin, were projected onto the ballroom floor.

Irwin and Carson celebrated after receiving their perfect score of 40 for their dance to the song, honouring his late father.

Irwin shared the dance on Instagram, with the caption, “Tonight was healing. This dance was emotional, beautiful and so deeply meaningful. I carry Dad’s legacy with me in everything I do, and it was a privilege to dedicate our foxtrot to him.”

“Thank you @bindisueirwin for inspiring us with your freestyle to this song, and thank you @witneycarson for once again choreographing such a beautiful story through dance and for creating a space for me to convey raw emotions that I’ve never gotten to share before,” he continued.

“I’m a proud Wildlife Warrior, and I’ll always carry on my dad’s mission. I’m so grateful that I can do that in the ballroom.”

I’ve been such a fan of Miaou for years now, so when I found out the brand was collaborating with Adidas I couldn’t believe it. The campaign features Gabbriette, Devon Lee Carlson, and founder Alexia Elkaim riding through a Californian desert landscape—the collection meant to be “channeling motorsports rooted in femininity and the iconicness of California.”

The footwear in the capsule includes two unique silhouettes: the Miaou Boot and the Mei Elite Miaou. The Miaou Boot reinterprets Adidas’ Taekwondo design as a knee-high style crafted from mesh, featuring leather Three Stripes and an “M” branded zipper pull. The latter is currently sold out, but is a sleek silver sneaker with contrasting yellow stripes and an embroidered “M” on the tongue.

Beyond the shoes, the lineup includes a black jacket with an asymmetric two-way zipper, a sleek black dress with navy padded sleeves, and a yellow bag featuring contrasting navy branded details. One of the collection’s highlights is a three-piece matching set: a corset-style track top, track pants, and a coordinating base layer.

The Miaou x Adidas collection is available now on the Adidas website and through select retailers.

HBO has announced three new cast additions for Dune: Prophecy season 2, with Indira Varma, Ashley Walters and Tom Hollander joining the ranks.

The series, which is inspired by Brian Herbert and Kevin J Anderson’s prequel novel Sisterhood of Dune, is set 10,000 years before the events of the original Dune novel series and its ongoing movie adaptations, helmed by Denis Villeneuve.

Varma is best known for playing Ellaria Sand in Game of Thrones and is also set to appear in The Night Manager season 2, while Ashley Walters is best known for his role as drug kingpin Dushane in Top Boy.

Hollander, meanwhile, will be widely recognised for his recent role as posh scammer Quentin in The White Lotus season 2.

No character details have been revealed for their roles yet.

Alongside the casting news, the network also confirmed that production on the second season has officially begun, with filming locations for the new instalment including Hungary, Jordan and Spain.

And, unlike the six-episode first season, HBO is treating fans to more episodes in season 2, with the new instalment set to feature eight.

Dancing With the Stars’ Len Goodman Tribute in 20th Anniversary Episode

How Much Do the Celebrities Get Paid to Be on Dancing With the Stars?

Citing multiple sources, Variety reported in 2019 that Dancing With the Stars contestants make $125,000 for the rehearsal period and first two weeks of the show. If they progress beyond that point, the outlet continued, they earn more money each week. At the time, sources told the publication stars could earn a maximum of $295,000.

However, Bobby Bones said he made more than this when he won season 27 with Sharna Burgess in 2018.

“That show pays OK,” the radio personality said on a Sept. 2025 episode of Jason Tartick‘s podcast Trading Secrets. “Like, first episode, no money. Second episode, $10,000. I think it’s like, $10,000, $10,000, $20,000, $20,000. It ends up being $50,000 an episode if you last.”

Also receiving a base salary of around $110,000, Bones continued, “I ended up making close to $400,000 from that show.”

ABC has not publicly confirmed any of these figures.

All 33 ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Winners

by jummy84 November 12, 2025
written by jummy84

It’s been almost exactly two decades since Dancing With the Stars crowned its first winner. What started as a family-friendly dance competition show for a unique pool of celebrities has transformed into a cultural phenomenon.

Far before TikTok caught on to the merit the reality television series offers, ABC has been crowning winners of the show year after year. Dancing With the Stars has attracted quite an impressive slate of stars throughout its tenure, and a select few of them (33, to be exact) have snatched that mirrorball trophy and earned the coveted title of “winner.”

To celebrate the success of the series and commemorate its various champions who were crowned before the series earned its newfound virality, The Hollywood Reporter has rounded up all 33 (and soon-to-be 34) winners of Dancing With the Stars.

  • Kelly Monaco (season one)

Kelly Monaco won the inaugural season of DWTS in 2005 alongside pro dancer Alec Mazo. That was far from the last time the General Hospital actress would be seen in the ballroom, as she notably competed on the 15th season with Valentin Chmerkovskiy as her partner.

Her double spin as a contestant on the series makes her one of six winners to return to the show to compete for a second time. She also appeared on season 25 to perform a trio number with Terrell Owens and Cheryl Burke, alongside six other former competitors.

  • Drew Lachey (season two)

Drew Lachey, former member of 98 Degrees and brother to Love Is Blind host Nick Lachey, picked up his mirrorball during season two. Partnered with Cheryl Burke, he returned for season 15 where he competed with Anna Trebunskaya.

Despite being named the show’s champion on his first DWTS turn, he was eliminated during week three during his second shot. However, Lachey, alongside Monaco, is still penned in the DWTS history books as one of the few winners to compete on the show more than once.

  • Emmitt Smith (season three)

Cheryl Burke extended her winning streak into season three with Emmitt Smith. The former Dallas Cowboys running back made history with his 2006 win as the first (of four) NFL players to win DWTS. Plus, Smith is a part of the hexad of past champions who returned for season 15, where he was partnered with Cheryl once more.

  • Apolo Anton Ohno (season four)

Olympian Apolo Anton Ohno won the fourth DWTS installment, notably earning current co-host Julianne Hough her first mirrorball. Plus, Julianne’s season four victory also set the record for the youngest pro dancer to reign supreme, as she won the competition series at just 18 years old. (And she quickly made another record one year later.) Ohno also returned for season 15, and placed fifth.

  • Hélio Castroneves (season five)

Julianne Hough followed in Cheryl Burke’s footsteps in 2007 by winning the show for the second year in a row with racing driver Hélio Castroneves. The Indy 500 racer came back to DWTS in 2015 for season 15, where he placed 10th.

  • Kristi Yamaguchi (season six)

Olympic champion figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi translated her gold-medal winning talents into the DWTS ballroom in 2008, where she won season six. Her triumph saw Mark Ballas earn his first win as a pro dancer, one of many more to come.

  • Brooke Burke (season seven)

Brooke Burke and current judge Derek Hough won the show’s seventh installment, which led to years of them both being intertwined with the DWTS family. Coming onto the show as a model and TV host, Burke offered the latter talent to the series as a DWTS co-host from season 10-17.

Brooke’s win was also served as Derek’s first win. While this list is intended to highlight the winners of the show, it’s also important to note that each celebrity victory also parlayed into the careers of the pro dancers that make up the series.

  • Shawn Johnson (season eight)

Shawn Johnson became the first gymnast to win DWTS in 2009. Partnered with Mark Ballas (marking his second victory), the gold medalist reappeared on the series for (you guessed it!) season 15 alongside Derek Hough.

  • Donny Osmond (season nine)

Donny & Marie star Donny Osmond took his turn on the competition ballroom dance series in 2009, where he won season nine alongside Kym Johnson. He is notably the oldest person to ever win the show, as he was 51 at the time he was crowned champion.

  • Nicole Scherzinger (season 10)

Derek Hough won his fourth DWTS installment during season 11, with Dirty Dancing actress Jennifer Grey. Her first dance paid tribute to the film, a Viennese waltz set to “These Arms of Mine” by Otis Redding from the movie.

Grey long held the record for the most perfect scores in a season, setting it initially with six. She stands as the eldest woman to win DWTS, and she was 50 when she secured the title.

  • Hines Ward (season 12)

Actor and Army veteran J.R. Martinez won season 13 alongside pro Karina Smirnoff, marking her first DWTS win. Following his victory, Martinez told The Hollywood Reporter he was “so grateful that I was able to be part of the journey to help get her first mirrorball trophy.”

  • Donald Driver (season 14)

Donald Driver, a former Green Bay Packers player, and Peta Murgatroyd won season 14 of DWTS. Following the triumph, he reflected on becoming another NFL star to win the mirrorball with THR.

“It took me 13 years to win the Super Bowl,” Driver joked. “I’m just glad it took me one season to win the mirrorball.”

  • Melissa Rycroft (season 15, All-Stars)

The coveted 15th season of the show, better known as DWTS: All-Stars, was ultimately won by Melissa Rycroft. She was a contestant on The Bachelor season 13, and got engaged to Jason Mesnick, though he called off the engagement shortly after.

After her run as a Bachelor Nation star, she quickly pivoted to appearing on DWTS for season eight. (It’s a trend that would later catch wind for contestants in the franchise to go on the competitive dance show directly after their time searching for love on TV.) There, she placed third, before returning for season 15 and winning the mirrorball alongside Tony Dovolani.

  • Kellie Pickler (season 16)

Marking the second time Derek Hough won consecutive seasons, Amber Riley was the show’s 17th winner. The Glee star and Derek had quite the impressive turn, tying the then-record for the highest first week score, receiving three nines from the judges. In total, she had five perfect scores throughout the season, which led her to nab the season 17 champion title.

Riley is also notably the first African American woman to win a regular, mainstay season of DWTS. (Melissa Rycroft won All-Stars.)

  • Meryl Davis (season 18)

Long before he became a co-host of DWTS, Alfonso Ribeiro won the show in 2014. Earning Witney Carson her first mirrorball as well, the duo were a force during the 19th installment. He matched Amber Riley’s record for best first week score ever, after earning 36/40 (meaning he received four nines from each judge).

  • Rumer Willis (season 20)

Rumer Willis won the landmark 20th season of the competitive ballroom show alongside Valentin Chmerkovskiy, in his first win ever. Daughter to Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, Rumer matched Meryl Davis’ score of most perfect dances by a competitor.

  • Bindi Irwin (season 21)

One of the most heartwrenching journeys on DWTS came with Bindi Irwin’s season 21 appearance with her partner Derek Hough. Son of the beloved Steve Irwin, Bindi was the first winner to completely blow out the once-set record of most perfect dances. Jennifer Grey and Rumer Willis each had six, though Bindi earned eight perfect scores.

During Most Memorable Year week, she paid tribute to her late father with a touching contemporary that is ingrained in DWTS history. Competing on the show in 2015, her younger brother Robert Irwin later followed in her footsteps, by partaking in season 34 of the series in 2025, exactly 10 years post-her tenure in the competition. His placement is still TBD, but if Robert won, they’d be the first sibling duo to both win DWTS.

  • Nyle DiMarco (season 22)

Nyle DiMarco had a historic run during season 22 of DWTS, becoming the first deaf person to win the series. Hailing from one of the final cycles of America’s Next Top Model, DiMarco and Peta Murgatroyd’s time on the competitive reality show broke down barriers.

  • Laurie Hernandez (season 23)

  • Bobby Bones (season 27)

Bobby Bones’ DWTS win is one of the most controversial conquests in the show’s 20 year run. Dancing with his partner Sharna Burgess, the radio host had the lowest judges scores of the finalists during season 27. His win caused a shift in the DWTS universe — one that signified that viewers’ votes could successfully influence a celebrity to win a show without having the scoring to back it up.

  • Hannah Brown (season 28)

Hannah Brown became the second Bachelorette to win DWTS during season 28 with her partner Alan Bersten, marking his first and only win.

The first TikTok star to join the franchise’s cast, Charli earned six perfect scores during her run on the show. She is also a part of the first duo of non-spousal family members to compete on DWTS, as her mother, Heidi D’Amelio, also appeared on season 31.
