Kim Kardashian Reveals She Experienced A Brain Aneurysm

According to TODAY, Kim Kardashian revealed her diagnosis during the recent season 7 premiere of ‘The Kardashians.’ In a clip from the show, Kardashian was seen undergoing an MRI where the aneurysm was apparently picked up. Per the outlet, an aneurysm is a “bulge or ballooning in the wall of a blood vessel,” which can occur in any part of the body and even be fatal. Additionally, the diagnosis can range from “having no symptoms for an unruptured aneurysm to a medical emergency for a ruptured one.”

“They’re like, ‘It’s just stress,’” Kardashian recalled of what doctors explained to her.

“I’m happy [the divorce] is over. People think that I have the luxury of walking away… My ex will be in my life no matter what. We have four kids together,” Kardashian explained, seemingly revealing the cause of her stress.

Per the outlet, later in the episode, Kardashian even noted that she was experiencing a psoriatic flare-up. She reportedly added that the last time she experienced one was during her and Ye’s divorce.

“Everyone around can handle it, but like, protect my babies because they’re going to know things, they’re going to grow up, they’re going to see. My job as a mom is to just make sure that at a time when [Ye’s] behavior is happening, is just to make sure that they are protected,” she explained, seemingly referencing her ex as the cause for her present flare-up.

Weeks before revealing her brain aneurysm, Kim Kardashian got honest about her current co-parenting situation with Ye. As The Shade Room previously reported, while appearing on ‘Call Her Daddy,’ Kardashian explained that she’s raising her and Ye’s four kids “full-time.”

“They live with me, and I welcome a great, healthy relationship with my kids and their dad. I think he knows that. I push for it all the time. But I also protect them when it’s time for that, and it goes in waves and phases, and it’s a lot of work,” she said in part.

Selena Gomez Reveals Video for New Single ‘In the Dark’

Selena Gomez has released the video for “In the Dark,” a song from the Season Two soundtrack of Netflix series Nobody Wants This.

The retro visual opens with the singer wearing a black leotard and sitting on a white chaise, before transitioning to moodier shots of Gomez fitted in a two-piece and glossy leather jacket surrounded by smoke. “I’ll be there when you lose yourself. To remind you of who you are,” sings Gomez in the Eighties-channeling track. “And I’ll be there like nobody else. You’re so beautiful in the dark.”

Gomez teased the video earlier on Wednesday, sharing scenes from the visual on Instagram stories, and sharing that it took under just eight hours to film. In one photo, she wrote: “Thought it be fun to add a little Revival to it.”

Last month, Gomez and Benny Blanco tied the knot in a private ceremony and exchanged vows in California in front of their friends and family. The couple had collaborated together on Gomez’s 2015 hit song “Same Old Love” and “I Can’t Get Enough” (which also featured Tainy and J Balvin) in 2019, before confirming their relationship in December 2023. In March 2025, the pop powerhouse and producer debuted their collaborative album, I Said I Love You First.

Gomez recently featured on “Pick It Up,” as part of Cardi B’s sophomore album, Am I the Drama?, which dropped in September. The pair last linked up in 2018 for DJ Snake’s smash hit “Taki Taki,” with Ozuna as well.

Exclusive: Sonja Weißer Reveals What to Expect From Maxton Hall Season 2, Teases Season 3

After the breakout success of the first season, the elite boarding school drama Maxton Hall: The World Between Us is returning with its much-anticipated second season. Ahead of its release, we caught up with Sonja Weißer, who plays Lydia Beaufort, the ambitious twin sister of the lead character, James Beaufort (Damian Hardung). This season, Lydia continues to navigate personal struggles while chasing her ambitions and fighting to be taken seriously in a world that often dismisses her dreams.
Played with quiet strength, Sonja’s Lydia emerged in Season 1 as more than a side character, ending the season in turmoil after her affair with teacher Mr Sutton and an unexpected pregnancy came to light. As season 2 expands her storyline, we asked Sonja whether she drew on any personal experience to portray Lydia’s evolution.

She answers, “I can relate to it as a woman in this society. I can see myself in Lydia in moments where she has to adapt to patriarchal structures and has to try to break out of them. I can identify with that, and I think almost every woman can. She’s evolving, she’s getting braver, she’s trying to have her own way and to break out of the structures that she was brought up in.”

The German show is based on the 2018 novel titled Save Me by Mona Kasten and follows the collision between Ruby Bell (Harriet Herbig-Matten), a hardworking scholarship student with dreams of getting into Oxford, and James Beaufort, the arrogant heir to a wealthy family empire. When Ruby accidentally uncovers Lydia’s affair with their teacher Graham Sutton, she is thrust into the ruthless world of privilege, secrets, and manipulation.

Sonja continues, “Lydia is a great character, she is a great woman. I’m very pleased to play her because I think she has a lot of nuances to her. She has such a fierce personality, but at the same time, she’s very loyal and also passionate and creative. What I’m also excited about is the friendship that she’s building up with Ruby, Lin (Andrea Guo) and Ember (Runa Greiner). And that was very fun to play as well because we haven’t seen her with any friends yet. And she was always quite alone or with her brother. So, to explore this new formation for Lydia was very exciting, and I’m very pleased for everybody to see that.”

Talking about some of her memorable moments from the sets, she continues, “A great day we had was when we shot a scene with the girls where he released sky lanterns. That was Harriet’s birthday as well. We were outside on a summer day, and there was a great energy. I loved filming with those girls because before I was just filming with boys, which was fine too. But that was a nice energy we had together.”

As the new season builds toward bigger emotional stakes and deeper character arcs, Lydia finds herself at the centre of key turning points that will shape what comes next.

When asked about the possibility of a third season, she answers, “I wish I could tell you, but I think you will be satisfied with watching the whole of season two and everything that’s coming up with it. And for season three, we can say that it’s going to happen. When it’s going to happen, I sadly cannot tell. I don’t know, but I can be excited for it.”
She also told the audience what to expect from season 2. “You can expect a lot of dark emotions, a lot of drama, a lot of trust that is getting broken, grieving, but new friendships, new spotlight on other characters, and just exploring the conflicts and the different protagonists even deeper.”

Maxton Hall season 2 will return on Prime Video starting November 7.

Dermatologist reveals what happens to your skin when you are obese: ‘Impairs wound healing…’

Did you know obesity leaves a mark on your skin as well? Not just with skin folds, but several other changes that showcase disrupted metabolic health. 

When a person’s weight exceeds the normal range according to Body Mass Index (BMI), whether in the overweight or obese category, it often shows up on the skin. Visibly, this may include extra folds, a protruding belly, but there are several more indirect skin issues too, which accompany it. It further goes on to suggest how obesity adversely affects health, spanning across multiple organs and functions.

To understand more about how obesity can affect in direct and indirect ways, HT Lifestyle reached out to Dr Pravin Banodkar, co-founder and lead dermatologist of Skin Beyond Borders.

“As we know, obesity is basically a part of inflammation; it is a part of hormones, and that affects metabolism as well as circulation in the body. So overall, when you have more obesity, you can have different kinds of changes that are going on in the skin,” Dr Banodkar highlighted how skin conditions show the underlying issues.

The impact is complex and multilayered. Often, this is overlooked when other ill effects of obesity become prominent and attract more attention, but these skin issues are interconnected with the systems, like the hormonal and metabolic, which are also affected during obesity. So these skin issues are only part of a wider network of health complications that obesity can trigger throughout the body.

“Obesity compromises the skin in multiple ways, whether it is structural, functional, or infectious. It can also impair wound healing and alter the overall appearance of the patient,” the dermatologist said.

Dr Pravin Banodkar revealed that these 5 skin issues are caused by obesity:

1. Fungal infections

  • When there are skin folds, they can trap a lot of moisture, resulting in a lot of fungal infections, foul odour, skin irritation, erythrasma and other contact dermatitis.
  • There are increased infections, which are fungal and bacterial infections, because of insulin resistance.

2. Stretch marks

  • If there is a lot of skin which is stretching because of obesity, then it can cause inflammation.
  • Stretch marks may be red or white colored.

3. Poor wound healing

  • There is a risk of poor wound healing that can be associated with obesity because when one has more fat, they also have a lesser blood supply in certain areas of your skin in the folds.
  • It causes poor oxygen delivery and prolongs the wound healing.

3. Dark patches

  • Acanthosis nigricans is thick velvety skin in the fold areas of the neck, the underarm, and the groin areas

4. Skin tags

  • A person might have skin tags that develop in the neck.
  • These skin tags are extra skin that is triggered by insulin resistance and certain chronic inflammatory conditions like psoriasis, hidradenitis suppurativa.
  • Acne tendency is seen more in individuals who have obesity issues.

5. Chronic lymphedema

  • Obesity can also affect the legs. It is basically swelling in the legs with discolouration.
  • One might have acute or chronic lymphedema, which can be complicated by cellulitis or infections, and as a result, puts the patients in a lot of jeopardy.

Study reveals men’s brains shrink faster than women with age, shares what it means for Alzheimer’s risk

Women are more likely to get Alzheimer’s, but brain volume stays stable. Find out more about this contradiction and what it means. 

With age, the risks of neurodegenerative disorders like Alzheimer’s disease rise. As one grows older, the brain’s volume also shrinks in size, losing both grey and white matter over time. A study published in PNAS on October 13, 2025, revealed that the brain’s shrinking pace differs by sex, actually. Men’s brains shrink faster than women’s. So if there’s a correlation between brain shrinkage and neurodegenerative disease, what does it say about women’s increased vulnerability to Alzheimer’s disease?

What did the study find?

The study attempted to understand whether the brain tissue, grey and white matter, shrinks faster in men or women with age. So, according to the researchers, men’s brains with age become smaller in volume, particularly the cortex, shrinking more. However, women’s brains lose volume in certain selective areas, and more or less the cortex’s thickness remains stable. Cortex is associated with important cognitive skills like thinking, memory, and decision-making.

Although there’s no significant difference between men and women in regards to the shrinkage of the hippocampus, the brain area associated with memory, at least until old age. Women showed a decline in this area only later in life. But it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s because of a higher risk of neurodegenerative disorders. Instead, it demonstrates that women may live longer, hence the decline appears later because women reach older age more often than men.

What does it mean?

The interesting contradiction is sure to leave people scratching their heads. So, people with Alzheimer’s showcase a shrunken brain. And women are more vulnerable to Alzheimer’s. But here’s the catch: based on the findings, it implies that brain shrinkage doesn’t always indicate disease; it may be a part of the natural ageing process. Still, there needs to be more research to draw a complete picture of why women are likely to have a higher Alzheimer’s risk.

‘I could see this little synopsis that’d be someone naked…’ Sophie Ellis-Bextor reveals why she said yes to Saltburn

Sophie Ellis-Bextor was convinced to let Murder on the Dancefloor be used in the final scene of Saltburn when she discovered Barry Keoghan would be dancing naked to her hit single.

The 2001 disco pop track soundtracks Keoghan’s nude dance as his character Oliver Quick through the Saltburn estate in Emerald Fennell’s Golden Globe nominated 2023 movie.

Sophie, 46, was thrilled when she found out the filmmaker wanted to license her song and had no hesitation saying yes when she found out it would be the music to such a memorable moment.

Speaking to Instagram and TikTok creator Luke Hamnett on episode 4 of BRITs podcast The Red Carpet Treatment – On The Road presented by Mastercard, she said: “I knew about Emerald. I never met her, but I was thinking, what a treat you want to use my song. And then I could see this little synopsis that’d be someone naked. I was like, count me in, got to see that.”

Sophie also loves the fact that Saltburn villain Oliver ultimately comes out on top in the comedy thriller.

She added: “I think there is a little dark triumph in the baddie coming out on top, that’s obviously baked into the veins of Murder on the Dancefloor.”

Thanks to the film’s release in 2023, the Groovejet hitmaker has enjoyed a massive career renaissance and is riding the wave of Murder on the Dancefloor’s revival with new music and renewed momentum.

In September, Sophie released her eighth album Perimenopop and she says the sound of the album goes right back to the style of Murder on the Dancefloor.

She said: “It’s disco pop. It’s optimistic. It sums up my relationship with pop music, actually. It’s like a little audio tonic to make you feel a bit better. Because I had this resurgence with Murder on the Dancefloor, it was the first time I was thinking back to when I started with it and seeing the video and the artwork and all that kind of thing. And calling the album Perimenopop was a really amazing way to liberate me from any kind of comparison with that because it kind of put front and centre the fact that that’s not me anymore. And I didn’t really realise that’s what I was doing with the title until I was nearly releasing it. And I felt like, God, I feel really free. I feel like I’m exactly who I am right now.”

Joe Absolom reveals Emmerdale villain Ray’s truth behind Laurel connection amid “subservient” dynamic with mum Celia

Joe Absolom has revealed the truth behind Emmerdale villain Ray Walters’s romantic attachment to Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy), and shared some insight into his relationship with adoptive mum Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths).

Ray has been manipulating April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) and her boyfriend Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle) into delivering and selling drugs for him.

Things took an even darker turn when Ray led April into sexual slavery.

But when we learned that Celia has been pulling the strings all along, it became clear that Ray, while ruthless, isn’t half as dangerous as her!

Chatting to RadioTimes.com and other media, Absolom explained: “To April and Dylan, he’s at the top. But to actually most people watching him, people realize he’s one of the many, one of the cogs.

“And you see above him is [Celia], who he’s terrified of and attached to in a sort of maternal sense. He’s very much the child and the subservient one,” he added.

“Whereas with Dylan and April, he’s kind of the dominator, if you like, or the driving force of most of those things. Most of my scenes are different with those two guys to what you see with [Celia], who’s this very formidable, strident character.”

Describing a moment on set where a co-star had yet to find out the nature of Ray and Celia’s relationship, the actor revealed: “We did a scene the other day and Jaye touched my cheek, and one of the other actors went, ‘wait, are you two dating?'”

While Celia’s more tactile moments seem to be used to keep Ray in line, there’s another, warmer opportunity to see Ray’s softer side when he takes a genuine shine to Laurel!

“I think when he meets Laurel, there’s something that brings a side out to him that he didn’t know he was going to have, but the writers did. I like it because it has a different side of it. It’s more human.

“I think he sees a family,” Absolom added. “Sees her with her kids and sees a family life that he never had because he was adopted very early on by Celia when he was eight.

“So we see in episodes later, not flashbacks, but little hints of what his life has been like. So I think to me, Laurel is this kind of woman who has a business and a family and children are kind of, you know, interesting. She lives in a nice house.

“Yeah, I think it’s attractive to Ray in lots of different ways.”

But despite the possibility of love on the horizon, Ray will turn his attention back to crime, discovering that Dylan has gone behind his back and stolen some money after a job.

“He’s got the backpack and he’s been double crossed, I guess,” muses the star.

“So it’s a real moment where he realises he may be losing a grip on these two people and that he has to now take it to a different level and try and get them back and get the money back and get them back onside. So it’s a risk of losing everything, really.”

As Dylan and April make a desperate bid to escape, we’ll have to wait and see if Ray will catch up with them.

But Absolom is enjoying his time on Emmerdale, summing up what he’s been up to since stepping into the role of Ray.

“Since I’ve arrived, I’ve been paying kids to deliver drugs, I’ve been delivering drugs myself, I’ve been pimping out other characters. And I’ve taught Dylan how to drive. There’s a real gamut of opportunity for the Dales!”

Shaan R Grover shared his favourite Diwali traditions and preferences. He enjoys simple firecrackers; his favourite sweets include laddoos and modaks. For snacks, he prefers spicy, sweet, or mixed namkeen. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, he is passionate about playing Teen Patti. Shaan R Grover’s Fun Segment

During the fun segment with us, Shaan R Grover answered the following questions.

His favourite crackers- “I think simple firecrackers like phuljhadi would be nice. So yeah, that is something you can do and yeah, phuljhdis are nice.”

His favourite Diwali mithai- “As far as the sweets are concerned, any sort of laddoos are nice. Besan ke laddoos, Moti chur ke laddoos. Just give me any laddoos. Or Modaks also maybe. I love Modaks. And Modaks, laddoos, they all are welcome.”

His favourite Diwali namkeen- “As far as namkeen is concerned, anything spicy, anything sweet or a mixture of both, anything is more than welcome.”

His favourite film to watch on Diwali- “Any nice, feel-good family movie would be nice to watch after puja, dinner, and all the cards that you’ve played. That’s what I’ve done. And it’s been a ritual with my mom and dad that I go for a movie with them every Diwali. It’s been, I don’t know, from as far as I remember, since I was like five or six maybe, every Diwali. We’ve gone for a movie on the day of Diwali, so that’s been a ritual. So I love the popcorn. I love watching the movie with my parents on the biggest screen possible in a theatre. That’s always been a ritual.”

His favourite game(s) to play with family or friends, or Diwali- “Of course, cards. I’m very big on that. I’m a Delhi kid, so I’ve played Teen Patti all my life, and I’m pretty good at it too. So, of course, this is a no-brainer. I play Teen Patti, which is a card game, on Diwali.”

His favourite spot to visit to see crackers being lit- “I don’t know any spots where I can see firecrackers burning in Mumbai. Like I said, not so big on firecrackers anymore. But as we speak right now, I can hear the firecrackers being burst outside my house in my society. The kids are pretty big on that. So that is the best side because I love the society kids, and they are my good friends. And just to see them enjoying makes me feel happy. So I would say my society.”

Shaan R Grover is an actor and producer best known for his role as Mahesh Iyer in the 2025 hit film Saiyaara. After years of hard work in digital and OTT projects, he has finally achieved mainstream success.
