The movie has been in the news ever since it was announced- promising to be a stirring patriotic drama and a sequel to J.P. Dutta’s iconic 1997 classic titled Border.

On Wednesday, the makers shared a first look of Varun Dhawan, who steps into the uniform of a brave Indian soldier for this high-octane war drama. In the striking poster, Varun is in full gear, oozing intensity and pride. The image instantly sent social media abuzz, with his fans hailing the transformation and patriotic aura of the actor.

Sharing a powerful first look on social media handles, the makers write, “Border uska farz hai aur Bharat uska pyaar! #Border2 releasing on 23rd January, 2026.” The tagline translates to “The border is his duty, and India is his love,” aptly giving away the essence of the film-a perfect combination of emotion, sacrifice, and valour.
While more details pertaining to the cast and storyline are kept under wraps, the sequel is expected to pay tribute to the courage and selflessness of India’s armed forces with a modern cinematic touch. Border 2 is all set to revive the spirit of patriotism and brotherhood which made the original film a landmark in Indian cinema.

Imran Khan’s long-awaited comeback film has been the talk of the town ever since it was confirmed earlier this year. Fans have been eagerly waiting to see him back on screen, and now, there’s finally an update on the project’s progress.

Imran Khan’s Bollywood Comeback Film To Release Next Year?

According to a source quoted by Hindustan Times, “The shoot of the film got wrapped up in August; it is now in post-production. The makers are hoping to lock the edit by December and release early 2026.”

However, the release date is still not final. The source added, “That’s all dependent on Netflix, so one will have to wait for them to commit to a date. Nothing happens until seven layers of corporate executives have signed off.”

Directed by Danish Aslam, who is a longtime friend of Imran, the film is expected to fall in the romantic-comedy zone — a genre Imran has mastered through hits like Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na (2008), Break Ke Baad (2010), and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan (2011).

Imran Khan’s Career Journey

Since his last on-screen appearance in the 2015 film Katti Batti, Imran Khan has stayed away from the limelight, sparking frequent social media trends as fans continue to await his return. The actor rose to fame with his charming performances in Bollywood’s beloved 2010s rom-coms like I Hate Luv Storys, Break Ke Baad, and Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, among others.

Bhumi Pednekar, on the other hand, was last seen in Mere Husband Ki Biwi, co-starring Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh. Her OTT series The Royals co-starring Ishaan Khatter was also a hit.

After two years of waiting and a couple of weeks of beta, Football Manager 26 is finally about to release, with the full launch times now confirmed.

We’ve already given our thoughts on the game in our FM26 review, but if you’ve been waiting to try it out for yourself, there’s not long to wait.

So, here’s what you need to know about the FM26 launch, including release times, pre-order info, platforms and more.

When is the FM26 release date and launch time

Football Manager 26 will release on 4th November 2025 at 4pm GMT.

Hours later, the rapper hopped online to confirm his release with a selfie video! Also, he warned fans to act fast with their support before he goes private on social media.

Blueface Says He’s Home In New Video

Within one hour, the rapper’s comment section was flooded with over 11,000 reactions. The clip Blue shared shows him shirtless, wearing a diamond chain and white cap. He vowed to put his Instagram account on private within 24 hours, teasing a “secret society” vibe. “Blueface home,” he said with a lil’ laugh. The clip marks the first time fans are seeing and hearing from Blue directly since he got home from prison.

As previously reported, Blueface turned himself into police in January 2024. He had violated his probation in connection to a 2021 assault conviction, and a judge ultimately sentenced him to four years last August. He served 21 months before his release, per XXL.

Karlissa Saffold Has Been Teasing Her Son’s Return For Weeks

In mid-October Mama Blueface assured his fans that they’d be seeing the rapper in “days.” She spoke to TMZ about her son’s physical transformation, which includes gaining 70 pounds behind bars. She also told the outlet Blue was “doing well,” pouring into his fitness and “preparing to come home.” Karlissa also spoke about how she and Blue’s dad Jonathan Sr., will hold him “accountable” for his actions. However, she said, how the rapper moves once free will be in his hands.

As far as welcoming Blueface home, Saffold teased a party that she’s allegedly been planning for a hot minute. Ahead of the rapper confirming his release, his mother got fans riled up with a video of Blueface’s son looking at a man asleep in bed. She had also taken to IG Story to write, “Thank you God.”

Now You See Me: Now You Don’t is the thrilling third chapter in the globally loved heist franchise. The makers have recently revealed the release date for the movie and audiences cannot keep calm. It arrives exclusively in Indian cinemas on November 14, 2025, in collaboration with PVR INOX Pictures.

Like every other movie of the franchise, this one also promises high-octane action and unbelievable twists. The star-studded cast features Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco and Isla Fisher, alongside new members Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa, Ariana Greenblatt and Rosamund Pike.

About the movie

Following the previous movie Now You See Me 2, the Horsemen are thrust into an even more dangerous game, one that challenges the limits of illusion, loyalty and justice. Secrets unravel, alliances flip and nothing is what it seems. The world’s most wanted magicians face their most formidable adversary yet.

Renowned filmmaker Ruben Fleischer, opened up about reuniting with Eisenberg and Harrelson for the movie. She also shared about bringing the plot to fruition. He said, “There’s something about magic that generates a feeling of wonder and awe that I absolutely love.” He further added, “It’s about not knowing how something is done and being amazed by it. I’ve been going to magic shows for a long time and the opportunity to bring that wonder and enjoyment to a new movie in this franchise was irresistible.”

Now You See Me

Jesse Eisenberg, who returns to one of his signature roles added, “Atlas feels condescension towards the young team, at least initially. He confronts them for deep-faking the Horsemen, which got the cops on Atlas’s back again, and Atlas also criticises their show, which he thinks is somewhat poorly executed.” He opened up further by sharing Atlas situation in the movie. He said, “Atlas’ aim is to teach and shepherd them, but he also becomes irritated because sometimes they don’t listen. There’s an interesting shade to Atlas, which is one of feeling both competitive with these young people, who he thinks are not ready for the mission, and then ultimately being impressed by what they’re able to pull off.”

Red Dwarf confirms exciting new release after new special was scrapped

Red Dwarf fans haven’t had the best time of it recently, with a planned special being unceremoniously scrapped by UKTV – but there’s a silver lining to this cloud, as fans will soon be able to relive the show’s best moments.

The original TV soundtrack collections for the classic sci-fi comedy are set to be released as BBC audiobooks.

The audiobooks, Red Dwarf: Series I to IV and V to VIII: The BBC TV Soundtracks, will be available from 20th November – so watch this space!

The news comes after Doug Naylor, co-creator of Red Dwarf, revealed that the new episode fans had been looking forward to was scrapped by UKTV last year.

A spokesperson for UKTV told RadioTimes.com at the time: “UKTV has no current plans to commission further episodes of Red Dwarf.

“It’s been a privilege to work with Doug Naylor and the cast in a relationship that began with the Back to Earth specials, which premiered to 4 million viewers, and has subsequently produced three full series, a retrospective and Red Dwarf’s first ever feature length, The Promised Land.”

However, Naylor has since shared with RadioTimes.com that there’s “absolutely” a chance of the episode, which was set to see Craig Charles’s Lister meeting his younger self, being shopped around to other channels.

“Absolutely, yeah, there’s always that possibility,” he said. “It’s public knowledge now this week, because I’ve announced it, and so now we will go out. The [cast] are really keen to do more.

“I’ve also done two thirds of a movie called Out of the Red where the guys play fictitious versions of themselves, and there’s real interest in that as well, both from a distributor and from a production company.

“In fact, I had a meeting about that this morning, so there’s that possibility as well. So it’s not dead, Dave – yet!”

The much-anticipated Yash Raj Films’ action entertainer Alpha, headlined by Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh, has been pushed to 2026. The film was supposed to hit theatres this Christmas in 2025 but will now release on April 17, 2026, confirms YRF. For the studio, it all boils down to making sure that the visual scale of the film matches the extremely ambitious standards set for their Spy Universe franchise.

“Alpha is an extremely special film for us, and we want to present the film in its most cinematic self. We realised that the VFX will take a little longer than expected. We want to leave no stone unturned to make Alpha a theatrical experience for everyone to cherish. Thus, we will now release the film on April 17, 2026,” said a YRF spokesperson.

Industry trackers also said the delay was a creative call and not a strategic one. “The VFX team was under a lot of pressure to meet unrealistic deadlines,” said a top trade source. “There’s a lot of work pending, and the makers didn’t want to compromise on quality. The move isn’t because of the crowded release window from Avatar to January 2026 — it’s about giving the film the time it deserves.”

Alpha represents a landmark for YRF’s Spy Universe, being the first-ever women-led spy thriller in the franchise, joining blockbusters like War, Pathaan, and Tiger 3. After the success of YRF’s Saiyaara and a lukewarm reception from War 2, expectations are high with Alpha to bring life back into the cinematic universe. Reports suggest that the head of YRF, Aditya Chopra, has personally stepped in to oversee the progress of the film and ensure that Alpha lives up to the level and finesse in storytelling that the audience expects.

Their first hint at Alpha came via the post-credit scene in War 2, which featured a surprise appearance by Bobby Deol. In the scene, his character stamps a mysterious logo onto the hand of a young girl, explaining that it’s the mark of Alpha — “the first, the fastest, the strongest.”

The scene sparked speculation that the girl might be a younger version of Alia Bhatt’s character. Rumors are rife that Bobby Deol essays the film’s main antagonist-a mentor-turned-nemesis figure to Alia’s spy. With a premise that sounds this enticing and a cast this bold, Alpha could be one of the biggest and most innovative projects ever attempted by YRF.
