Just in time for Halloween 2025, the season 13 cast of American Horror Story was unveiled, and fans will see some of Hollywood’s biggest stars step into the terrifying universe. Ariana Grande and Jessica Lange were revealed as new cast members in the upcoming season, leaving fans speculating what they could be playing.

Here, Hollywood Life has rounded up all the details that we know so far about season 13 of AHS.

American Horror Story Season 13 Cast: Who Is Starring in the Show?

In addition to Ariana and Jessica, the rest of the season 13 AHS cast will feature Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe and Leslie Grossman.

Creator Ryan Murphy’s production company’s Instagram page announced the casting news on October 31, 2025.

Jessica’s casting was a surprise to viewers since the actress previously said she wouldn’t return to the series.

“Oh Christ, no,” she said in February 2025 in response to a question about her possible return. “I mean, I haven’t done it for more than 10 years, 12 years, so, no, I’m not doing it.”

Ariana’s casting is also a shakeup for horror fans. After all, many have seen her as Glinda in both Wicked movies. So, many are curious what role the Nickelodeon alum could step into in AHS.

When Is the American Horror Story Season 13 Release Date?

According to Ryan’s Instagram page, season 13 of AHS is expected to premiere in one year from now: October 31, 2026.

What Is the Premise for AHS Season 13?

The exact plot details of season 13 have not been revealed yet. Since fans know the show is an anthology, they’ve seen the series take place in various settings, from Coven to Apocalypse.

Ryan seemed open to fans’ opinions about where future seasons could be set. In 2021, he held an online poll via his Instagram Stories, asking AHS viewers to vote on themes for upcoming seasons. Some weighed in asking for mermaids and sea sirens, a Wild West backdrop, Salem, Bloody Mary and a plague.

Terms & Conditions’ Gets Black Friday Release Date

by jummy84 October 30, 2025
written by jummy84

For years, Kahlil Joseph has been the most innovative and important filmmaker not working in feature films — a title that will officially be retired when his highly lauded “BLKNWS: Terms & Conditions” gets a 12-city theatrical release on November 28, 2025. That’s right, the film’s distributor, Rich Spirit, is announcing today — in a move that would make the film’s former distributor A24 blush — it will open the film, remixing Black history and culture, on Black Friday.

Rich Spirit’s press release makes clear that, like “BLKNWS” itself, releasing the film on the biggest shopping day of the year is both playful and deadly serious.

Taylor Sheridan Peter Berg

“The date ties the film’s release to global conversations about media, capitalism, and the Black archive amid renewed conversations about erasure, representation, and the rollback of civil rights,” per the official Rich Spirit press release. “BLKNWS on BLKFRDY arrives in theaters as both a cinematic and cultural event for audiences in targeted markets, aiming to subvert a day of commercial excess into a moment of Black collective reflection and cultural circulation. BLKNWS sells perspective.”

The 12 cities for theatrical release were chosen because they trace “a constellation of Black cultural capitals across the U.S., Canada, and Europe,” and include Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Atlanta, Washington DC, Houston, Philadelphia, Detroit, New York, Toronto, London, and Paris.

After initially being pulled from the Sundance 2025 lineup by the film’s original backers Participant — only to be rescheduled at the last minute to unceremoniously premiere at a 9 am screening — “BLKNWS: Terms & Conditions” has gone on to be properly feted at major festivals, including a prestigious Main Slate slot at last month’s New York Film Festival, along with Berlinale, BlackStar, Toronto, and London premieres. In addition to gaining glowing reviews (100 on Rotten Tomatoes, 87 on MetaCritic) and ardent admirers, Joseph’s feature debut won the FIPRESCI Award at Viennale 2025 and shared the Bruce Sinofsky Award in the Documentary Feature Competition at the Montclair Film Festival.

The late November release should place the film squarely in competition to make the Academy’s Best Feature Documentary shortlist — IndieWire has confirmed Rich Spirit will target nonfiction awards with the innovative film that incorporates a fictional Afrofuturistic storyline.

Joseph is not your typical first-time feature filmmaker, having made his name in the 2010s as the most vital music video director of his generation, creating an influential approach to images in his collaboration with the world’s most prominent musicians, and finding full expression in short form projects like the 2013 “Until the Quiet Comes,” for musician Flying Lotus, which won the Grand Jury Short Film Prize at the Sundance Film Festival; the 15-minute film about Compton in “good kid, m.A.A.d city” for Kendrick Lamar; as well as being the original visionary behind Beyoncé’ “Lemonade.”

‘BLKNWS: Terms & Conditions’

Joseph has never been interested in linear narratives, thinking of his work as more akin to how a musician approaches an album. Inspired by filmmakers like Apichatpong Weerasethakul and Terrence Malick (who Joseph worked for early in his career), Joseph prefers to use sound and music to evoke lyricism and complexity rather than rely on a traditional narrative. Following in the footsteps of one of his idols and mentors (and “BLKNWS” contributor) Arthur Jafa, the celebrated music video director gravitated more toward the art world than Hollywood, while also serving as the creative director of Underground Museum in LA, which was the passion project of Joseph’s late brother, artist Noah Davis.

“BLKNWS” was born out of the Underground Museum, initially dreamed up by Joseph and Ryan Coogler as an antidote to cable news during President Trump’s 2015 campaign. It was conceived as a continuous, curated broadcast, weaving news and social media clips, and cultural artifacts into a dynamic stream intended to reflect the richness of Black life.

On an upcoming episode of the Filmmaker Toolkit podcast, Joseph explained how “BLKNWS” grew out him increasingly watching YouTube in his free time.

“I assumed if I was [watching YouTube over television], everybody else was doing that too. And I got the sense too that people were excited about learning in a way that I don’t think the entertainment industry takes into account,” said Joseph on the podcast. “People want to learn stuff, that’s what YouTube is so exciting for. You can learn about anything, as much as you can watch music videos and content creators, most of the time, people are sharing knowledge and information, and not just opinions.”

Joseph brought on  editors Luke Lynch and Paul Rogers (“Everything Everywhere All at Once”), and together they started downloading YouTube clips and cutting them together as they experimented in finding the turntable-esque remix language of the cinematic news experience. Early versions were showcased at the 2019 Venice Biennale and the 2020 Sundance Film Festival, as Joseph saw “BLKNWS” more as a platform and media company with the potential to reach beyond the world of art installation. While on the podcast, Joseph admitted he contemplated accepting venture capital investment offers to build out the media company, but when the pandemic hit, he decided first on an intermediary step, accepting A24’s offer to turn it into a feature film.

‘BLKNWS: Terms & Conditions’

While on the podcast, Joseph discussed the lengthy and unorthodox process of turning his project into a feature film, which included bringing artists, journalists, and thinkers aboard, including Jafa, Bradford Young, Onye Anyanwu, Saidiya Hartman, Kaneza Schaal, Garrett Bradley, Raven Jackson, Jomo Fray, Dionne Brand, Christina Sharpe, Kristen Adele Calhoun, Irvin Hunt, and Madebo Fatunde, alongside musican Klein (who wrote the score), and with Lynch and Rogers continuing to work alongside Joseph in the editing room.

Presumably, the extended time frame it took to complete “BLKNWS: Terms & Conditions” exasperated A24, which had announced a 2024 release date and quietly abandoned the project, leaving Joseph to finish it on his own. When Participant and Joseph parted ways at Sundance, Rich Spirit stepped in to rescue what is one of 2025’s most exciting and boundary-pushing releases.

The release marks the first major project from Rich Spirit, an independent film label dedicated to amplifying voices from the global diaspora. The studio previously co-released Ali Abbasi’s “The Apprentice” with Briarcliff Entertainment, helping rescue the controversial film from financiers who had abandoned the project and turn it into an awards contender.

To make sure you don’t miss Kahlil Joseph’s November 26 interview about “BLKNWS,” subscribe to the Toolkit podcast on Apple, Spotify, or your favorite podcast platform.

‘The Forsytes’ Sets Release Date At PBS Masterpiece

by jummy84 October 29, 2025
written by jummy84

PBS Masterpiece has set Sunday, March 22, 2026 for the U.S. premiere of its new costume drama The Forsytes. All six episodes will be available to stream via the PBS app and PBS Masterpiece on Prime Video and a weekly broadcast on PBS will air Sundays at 9/8c.

An adaptation of John Galsworthy’s Forsyte Saga novels, the drama offers a sweeping portrait of a wealthy British family in 1880s London. It’s led by Francesca Annis (Lillie), who plays matriarch Ann.

Per the official logline: “Desire, ambition and betrayal simmer at the heart of the The Forsytes which chronicles the lives, loves, trials and triumphs of a wealthy Victorian era stockbroking family, whose generations find themselves torn between tradition and self-sacrifice versus personal happiness and the pursuit of love.”

The cast includes Stephen Moyer (True Blood) as Jolyon Forsyte Sr., Jack Davenport (The Morning Show) as James Forsyte, Danny Griffin (Fate: The Winx Saga) as Jo Forsyte Jr., Millie Gibson (Doctor Who) as Irene Heron, Tuppence Middleton (Downton Abbey: A New Era) as Frances Forsyte, Eleanor Tomlinson (One Day) as Louisa Byrne, Joshua Orpin (Titans) as Soames Forsyte and Josette Simon OBE (Anatomy of a Scandal) as Mrs. Ellen Parker Barrington.

Debbie Horsfield (Poldark) penned the adaptation. Executive producers are Debbie Horsfield, Meenu Gaur, Michael Ray, and Damien Timmer for Mammoth Screen, part of ITV Studios; and Susanne Simpson for Masterpiece.

The Forsytes is produced in association with ITV Studios, which handles international distribution, with PBS Distribution handling North American rights.

The series premiered October 20 on UK’s Channel 5. Deadline revealed in June that a second season of The Forsytes was already ordered before its debut in the UK.

ARC Raiders release date: Price & platforms for new extraction shooter

ARC Raiders release date: Price & platforms for new extraction shooter

by jummy84 October 28, 2025
written by jummy84

We’ve had technical tests, we’ve had the Server Slam open beta, and now, the ARC Raiders release date is almost upon us.

Set in a post-apocalyptic world wherein humanity has been forced underground by ruthless, sky-borne robots, ARC Raiders is an extraction shooter truly unlike any other.

It’s from Swedish developer Embark Studios, creators of fellow innovative shooter The Finals, and looks like it’s going to be another hit for the team.

So, when is the ARC Raiders release date, is it free-to-play and what actually is it? For the answers to all those questions and more, read on.

What is ARC Raiders?

The player taking on a Bastion. Embark Studios

ARC Raiders is an upcoming extraction shooter from Embark Studios, the developer of multiplayer FPS The Finals.

The game is set in a future version of Earth that has been “ravaged by a mysterious mechanised threat known as ARC”.

Players take the role of a Raider living in the underground settlement of Speranza, who ventures out to the planet’s surface to complete quests and scavenge for loot.

Anything found on the surface can be traded for new gear and upgrades to your base, giving you a means of progression over time.

ARC Raiders release date

ARC Raiders is currently scheduled to release 30th October 2025.

This was confirmed during Summer Games Fest 2025, which showed off some cinematic footage of the game’s world.

With there now being a big GTA 6 release date-sized hole in autumn, we can most likely expect to see more and more games rush to fill this vacuum.

There are already some big hitters dropping in the spookiest of months, such as Pokémon Z-A, Ninja Gaiden 4 and The Outer Worlds 2.

To better plan your gaming, be sure to check out all the upcoming video games in 2025 and beyond!

Is ARC Raiders free-to-play?

A screenshot of ARC Raiders showing a player taking cover behind a destroyed car with a giant robot in the distance.

All ARCreatures Great and Small. Embark Studios

No, ARC Raiders is not free to play.

Developers Embark Studios announced as much in a blog post on Steam, stating that “ARC Raiders will be released as a $40 premium title”.

For those of us in the UK, that equates to roughly £30 at the time of writing.

Embark Studios’ previous title, The Finals, is free-to-play, which led many to believe that the same would be true for ARC Raiders, but in the blog post, Embark Studios says that “a premium business model is a better fit for the type of game we’re building”, adding that a “premium model allows us to create a more focused, balanced, and engaging action-survival experience”.

Given the positive reception of ARC Raiders, it should hopefully avoid a similar fate to that of Concord, another $40 multiplayer game.

What platforms is ARC Raiders on?

A screenshot of ARC Raiders showing a player high up in a building looking down at other players in the street

PvPvE means you’ll do battle with players too. Embark Studios

ARC Raiders is coming to PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Now that the Nintendo Switch 2 is out, many are wondering if the game could come to the shiny new hybrid console. While there has been no official announcement of this, nor one at Summer Game Fest 2025, we wouldn’t entirely rule this out.

The Switch 2 is a much more capable device than the OG Switch, with faster memory, storage and power powerful graphics.

Given the game is to be released on the Xbox Series S and it has fairly humble minimal requirements on PC, there may be wiggle room yet for developer Embark Studios to optimise the game further for the Switch 2.

If such a feat is possible, it could be announced during a Nintendo Direct. This is all speculation on our part, however, but one can dream!

Is ARC Raiders crossplay?

A screenshot of ARC Raiders showing two players looking at each other in a forest.

Don’t let others get the drop on you! Embark Studios

Yes, ARC Raiders is crossplay!

On the official website, Embark Studios states that “ARC Raiders supports seamless social play across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC”.

You can always disable crossplay if you would rather not mingle with those not on your platform of choice. As it is a competitive game, you may not want to deal with PC players and their pesky mouse aim, or on the other hand, have to live with any sort of aim-assist.

But if you have friends on the other side, you will be able to enjoy the game together!

Is there another ARC Raiders beta?

A screenshot of ARC Raiders showing two players looking at each other in an industrial setting.

Friend or foe? Embark Studios

ARC Raiders no longer has an ongoing beta.

The last beta ran from 17th-19th October 2025.

Is there an ARC Raiders trailer?

Yes, there are a few trailers, actually!

We’ve already included the release date reveal trailer further up the page, but just above is a six-minute gameplay trailer Embark released in November 2024, showing off everything the game has to offer.

Check out more of our Gaming coverage or visit our TV Guide and Streaming Guide to find out what’s on. For more from the biggest stars in TV, listen to The Radio Times Podcast.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ prison release date revealed – National

by jummy84 October 27, 2025
written by jummy84

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ prison release date has been revealed just over three weeks after he was sentenced. Combs was found guilty on two counts of prostitution.

Combs is currently scheduled to get out of prison on May 8, 2028, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons’ online database.

The 55-year-old disgraced hip-hop mogul is currently behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York.

On Oct. 3, Judge Arun Subramanian sentenced Combs to just over four years in prison and a fine of US$500,000, the maximum possible, for his conviction on federal prostitution-related offences. He will also be under five years’ supervised release after his time in prison is served.

In his ruling, Subramanian said “a history of good works can’t wash away the record in this case, which shows that you abused the power and control over the lives of women who you professed to love.”

“You were no John,” he added. “You were more than that, even if your currency was satisfying your sexual desires instead of money.”

Subramanian said a substantial sentence is required “to send a message to abusers and victims alike that exploitation and violence against women is met with real accountability.”

Federal prosecutors had asked that Combs, 55, be sentenced to at least 11 years and three months in prison. Combs’ lawyers urged the judge to sentence him to no longer than 14 months, which would have resulted in his near-immediate release, as he has already served nearly 13 months in a Brooklyn jail.

While addressing the judge, Combs thanked Subramanian for “giving me the chance to finally speak up for myself,” as the former rapper did not testify during his trial.

“One of the hardest things that I’ve had to handle is having to be quiet. Not being able to express how sorry I am for my actions,” Combs said in his statement to the court.

“I want to personally apologize again to Cassie Ventura for any harm or hurt that I’ve caused her – emotionally or physically.”

Combs called his conduct “disgusting, shameful and sick.”

“Because of my decisions, I lost my freedom, I lost the opportunity to effectively raise my children and be there for my mother,” Combs said. “I lost all my businesses, I lost my career, I totally destroyed my reputation.”

Combs said that he’s “lost my self-respect” and he has been “humbled and broken to my core.”

“I hate myself right now. I got stripped down to nothing,” Combs said. “I want to apologize to my seven children. Y’all deserve better.”

The sentencing marked the conclusion of Combs’ New York trial, which began on May 5.

Combs’ legal team filed a notice of appeal on Oct. 20 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York from the Oct. 3 judgment. Details of the appeal have not been made public other than the legal filing.

What Just Happened? Dinesh Vijan Announces Stree 3 Release Year And Fans Are Freaking Out! | Glamsham.com

by jummy84 October 27, 2025
written by jummy84

Producer Dinesh Vijan, the creator of the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU), first struck gold with Stree starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. Since then, films like Bhediya, Munjya, Stree 2, and Thamma have expanded this supernatural yet comedic cinematic world. As fans eagerly await the next installment, Vijan recently explained the inspiration behind the MHCU and revealed why Stree 3 won’t release in 2026.

Speaking to the Hindustan Times, Vijan recalled advice he once received from Hollywood producer Chuck Roven, who told him to “keep films in a box” so that their worlds can logically connect. “When Stree happened, I understood — don’t change the physics if you want people to meet. That’s how the idea of the universe came,” Vijan said.

He emphasized that while all MHCU films are connected, they remain distinct in tone and story. “Munjya and Stree are completely different worlds. We are very conscious not to repeat. That’s why we’re not bringing Stree 3 next year. There’s a journey to it,” he explained. Comparing the MHCU to a “joint family,” Vijan described each film as a unique member with its own dynamics and relationships.

Vijan also highlighted the creative challenge of maintaining individuality within the shared universe. “When you watch Thamma, you’ll see it’s nothing like Munjya. Each has a different conflict, emotion, and connection,” he said. Fans, he noted, have already begun theorizing about how the characters and stories intertwine — something the Maddock team is consciously developing.

Following Thamma, the MHCU lineup includes Shakti Shalini, Bhediya 2, Stree 3, Chamunda, Maha Munjya, Pehla Mahayudh, and Doosara Mahayudh, promising a thrilling expansion of India’s first horror-comedy cinematic universe.

Girls Aloud announce vinyl and CD release date for 'Christmas 'Round At Ours'

Girls Aloud announce vinyl and CD release date for ‘Christmas ‘Round At Ours’

by jummy84 October 25, 2025
written by jummy84

Girls Aloud have announced a vinyl and CD reissue for their festive album ‘Christmas ‘Round At Ours’.

The girl group first released the Christmas collection as a bonus disc with their third album ‘Chemistry’ in 2005, but now, with the holiday season on the horizon, they have revealed that it will be getting a full re-release.

The new version has a reordered tracklisting and includes a previously unreleased remix from the vault of ‘Not Tonight Santa’. It is available to listen on streaming services now, while the physical release will come on November 14 on CD and red vinyl – pre-order/pre-save yours here.

It sees the band covering the Christmas classics ‘Merry Xmas Everybody’ by Slade and ‘I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday’ by Wizzard, as well as the festive staples ‘White Christmas’ and ‘Jingle Bell Rock’, and four Girls Aloud originals.

Kimberley Walsh has said: “Just as we were adding the finishing touches to what would become our ‘Chemistry’ album, our producer Brian Higgins had a wildcard last minute idea. As the album had been scheduled for a December release, how about we record some bonus Christmas tracks? Our record label loved the idea but went one step further and suggested we record a whole Christmas album which could be packaged with the main album as a strictly limited-edition deluxe format.”

Nadine Coyle added: “The day we photographed the front sleeve was the same day we were photographed for the main ‘Chemistry’ sleeve. When we walked into the photo studio it was like walking on to a film set – the kitchen scene you see on the front of the album was a set build and it looked so impressive, like something from a 1950s Hollywood movie. If you’d told us then than many years later the chosen image from the day would be celebrated by the National Portrait Gallery (which it did in Christmas 2023) we’d never have believed you!”

Nicola Roberts has said: “We decided to record four classic Christmas covers – and the Xenomania team were going to write four brand-new original Girls Aloud Christmas songs. There was only one issue – time. We had one week for the remaining new songs to be written and to record everything. Everyone went into festive overdrive. While we were recording the Christmas covers in the Xenomania studio (we picked ‘Jingle Bell Rock’ because it was in the movie Mean Girls), Miranda Cooper and Lisa Cowling spent a weekend in Devon writing lyrics to the four brand new Christmas songs.”

Cheryl added: “The new songs were all highly kitsch and sometimes ridiculous. The album
was always meant to be called ‘Christmas ‘Round At Ours’ – that’s why the Christmas TV
advert was themed “At home with Girls Aloud”, but it was decided it was too confusing to
give it a name of its own, as it would only ever be available as part of the ‘Chemistry’
album. Until now that is.”

Girls Aloud – ‘Christmas ‘Round At Ours’ tracklist:

  1. ‘Christmas ‘Round At Ours’
  2. ‘Merry Xmas Everybody’
  3. ‘Not Tonight Santa’
  4. ‘Jingle Bell Rock’
  5. ‘Count The Days’
  6. ‘I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday’
  7. ‘I Wanna Kiss You So (Christmas In A Nutshell)’
  8. ‘White Christmas’
  9. ‘Not Tonight Santa (Christmas Party Mix)’

In August, Girls Aloud released the 20th anniversary deluxe edition of ‘Chemistry’, while for BBC Children In Need last November, they released a new version of ‘I’ll Stand By You’, with the late Sarah Harding featuring exclusively on lead vocals.

Harding died from breast cancer in September 2021 after announcing her diagnosis to the public in August 2020. She was 39 years old. Girls Aloud revealed in late 2022 that they had raised more than £1million in funds for breast cancer charities over the past year.
