When asked why he decided to become a content creator instead of doing a 9-to-5 office job like many millennials, Vishnu Kaushal replied, “Choosing content creation over a traditional 9-to-5 wasn’t a decision I took lightly. It was more about the freedom to express myself and connect with an audience that resonates with my ideas. Early on, I realized the power of reliability — it’s not just about what you create, but how authentically you present it. People today seek genuine connections. Content creation allows me to do that in a way traditional job didn’t.”
Talking about how difficult it for him to find his footing in the content creation space and begin earning through the videos he created, Vishnu shared, “It wasn’t easy at all. When I first started, I was experimenting with different forms of content, trying to understand what worked and what didn’t. It took time to develop my unique style, but once I found my groove, things started to come together.”
He added, “There was a lot of trial and error, but the key was staying true to my voice. Earning from content creation was a slow and organic process. The real breakthrough came when I realized that authenticity, consistency, and understanding my audience’s needs were the pillars of success.”
Over the last several years, we’ve seen many content creators venture into the reality show space with shows like Bigg Boss, Traitors and Rise And Fall. When asked if he would like to be part of such shows if an opportunity comes, Vishnu Kaushal answered, “I’ve always believed that stepping outside your comfort zone is essential for personal growth. Reality shows like Bigg Boss or Traitors have certainly become platforms where content creators can showcase different aspects of their personalities. They provide a unique opportunity to connect with a much broader audience and present an unfiltered version of oneself. So, to answer your question—I would be open to participating in a reality show if the opportunity felt right.”
He continued, “For me, the key is maintaining my authenticity. I’ve built my brand on being relatable and real with my audience, and that’s something I wouldn’t want to compromise on a reality show. I wouldn’t be interested in participating just for the sake of fame; it would have to be an experience that allows me to express my true self, without trying to fit into a narrative that doesn’t align with who I am.”
Vishnu continued, “On the flip side, I understand how intense these shows can be. They’re a huge commitment, both mentally and emotionally, and not every show might suit my style or values. If the show gives me the opportunity to showcase my true personality, have meaningful interactions, and also engage with my audience in a way that aligns with my brand, then I’d definitely be open to it. But if I felt like it would conflict with my values or the image I’ve worked hard to build, I’d respectfully pass.”

In a recent interview with Lallantop, veteran actor Pankaj Kapur offered his perspective on his son Shahid Kapoor’s commercially successful yet controversial film, Kabir Singh. He expressed that the film merely reflected a pre-existing societal reality rather than glorifying toxic masculinity. He also praised Shahid’s evolution as an actor, emphasizing his notable performances in films such as Haider, Farzi, and Kabir Singh, while also sharing insights into Shahid’s development as a dramatic performer.
In response to the criticism that the film promotes toxic behaviour, he said, “He has done good work in Kabir Singh as well. That’s okay, because toxic masculinity exists in society. Just because a film portrays it doesn’t mean it’s glorifying it. This is more about our own perspective. Films show the world as it is, not as we wish it to be. Kabir Singh depicted a flawed man, which is what makes the story compelling.” He highlighted that this kind of story encourages important discussions regarding the intricacies of human nature.
Considering Shahid’s acting career, Pankaj said that his son’s genuine talent truly blossomed with Vishal Bhardwaj’s Haider in 2014. He added, “For a long time, I told him and others that his strength lay in drama, which hadn’t been fully explored. Until then, he was mostly cast in sweet boy roles. Vishal Bhardwaj unlocked that potential. Those films played a big part in shaping the actor Shahid would become. Shahid also became discerning about which projects to take on. He did brilliantly in Haider, and also in Farzi.”
Interestingly, Pankaj revealed that Shahid had received some formal training from him. He also spoke warmly of his other children, Sanah Kapur, who has been in a few films, and Ruhaan Kapoor, who is yet to make his debut. Describing his family’s dynamic, he mentioned that their home operates democratically, with his children making their own choices. He further added that there is no hierarchy in their home, and occasionally, his children even teach him things.

A little competition never hurt anyone! Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu first rose to fame after winning Love Island in 2022 and has since become a familiar face on reality television with stints on Dancing on Ice, The Wheel, The Traitors US, Celebrity Big Brother, and Love Island: All Stars.
Now, the British-Turkish actress is taking her talents to Netflix’s new high-stakes series, Inside: USA, and she’s sharing her advice for surviving (and thriving) on TV.
“I’ve always had that fire in me. … I’d describe my competitive spirit as strategic and observant. I love to have fun, but I also want to win,” she tells ET.
Offscreen, the 30-year-old is just as fierce, but her opponents are different.
“I’m competitive with myself more than anything. I’m always pushing to be better, whether that’s in my career or personal life. I love to set big goals and challenge myself. I don’t like to settle until I’ve reached them,” she says.
Since adopting that strong mindset, it’s been easy for Cülcüloğlu to ignore any haters.
“Once you know your worth, the outside chatter doesn’t matter as much. When the comments come in, I try to focus on the positives and the love people send rather than the negativity,” the model notes.
“I’ve learned that you can’t please everyone, and that’s okay. I remind myself that most negativity says more about the person writing it than about me,” she adds.
Above all, the television star embraces her journey on and off camera.
“People have literally watched me fall in love, make mistakes, and reinvent myself. I’m not afraid to change and grow. I want to keep surprising people and show different sides of who I am.”

Mandy has now told People about life imitating art on This Is Us: “The overwhelming takeaway (from the show) is just being a parent now.

Reflecting on her early years filming the NBC series, she added: “Looking back on those earlier seasons, I think, ‘How the heck did I know what I was doing?’ I didn’t know how to change a diaper, I didn’t know what was going on. It’s pretty funny to think back to those early days.”
Mandy, who has partnered with Beyfortus, a treatment used to prevent RSV infections in babies and young children, starred in This Is Us from September 2016 until May 2022 and followed the lives of the Pearson family over several decades.
Mandy played Rebecca Pearson, who with her husband Jack, portrayed by Milo Ventimiglia, raised three children.
The ensemble cast also included Chrissy Metz, Sterling K. Brown, Justin Hartley and Susan Kelechi Watson.
The drama series was nominated for 39 Emmy Awards and won four, including the Television Academy Honors in 2017.
Since its conclusion, Mandy, Sterling and Chris have launched That Was Us, a rewatch podcast revisiting episodes of the series.
Mandy told People the project had jogged memories of storylines she had forgotten.
She said: “I think we’re discovering we have a real blind spot for a couple of seasons, where it wasn’t the beginning of the show, and it wasn’t the end.
“So things are a little hazy, and it’s pretty revelatory when we watch these episodes again. Like, ‘Oh wow, I totally forgot about that’.”
In the old days, when a movie drama had a topical urgency, we would say that it was “ripped from the headlines.” But that phrase is now beyond quaint. Today we’re in the age when a film with topical relevance can feel like it was ripped, torn and bleeding, from reality.
Two of the most high-profile movies of the 2025 fall film festival season powerfully illustrate that trend. “The Voice of Hind Rajab,” a tumultuous political docudrama that was a sensation in Venice (where it was awarded the number-two prize, the Silver Lion), re-creates a war-zone calamity that took place in Gaza on Jan. 29, 2024. “Nuremberg” is ripped from the headlines of 80 years ago — it’s about how the captured Nazi Hermann Göring was placed on trial for war crimes. Both movies are furious indictments, and it’s telling that both place documentary evidence at the epicenter of their drama.
“The Voice of Hind Rajab” is set entirely within the glass-paned offices of the Palestine Red Crescent Society, where call-center volunteers field pleas from civilians trapped in the decimated hellhole that is Gaza. As the film unfolds in something close to real time, we follow the terrifying saga of Hind Rajab, a 6-year-old girl who is sitting trapped and hidden in her family’s car. Six of her family members lie dead and bloody around her (at first, she thinks they’re asleep). Can she be saved?
The workers stay on the phone with her, as Mahdi (Amer Hlehel), the office overseer, goes through the thankless task of securing approval (from the Red Cross outpost in Jerusalem) for an ambulance that’s just eight minutes away from the girl’s car to make the rescue mission. Unless he wins that approval, the ambulance itself will be a target for attack.
The audience never sees Hind Rajab (though we’re shown family photographs of her). But every time we hear her voice on the phone, it’s Rajab’s real voice (brave, scared, frantic, lost), all culled from a 70-minute recording that was made that day. This lends “The Voice of Hind Rajab” a unique and devastating this-is-really-happening urgency that the film is built around. The movie is its own hybrid, an inextricable weave of documentary and dramatization. And there are moments when it exerts its own special power. Yet as a dramatic experience, “The Voice of Hind Rajab” is at once cathartic and manipulative, lacerating and repetitive. In a real way, the film is bringing the news (of the heartlessness of Israel’s massacre-with-no-end). Yet the effect is akin to watching something that’s at once art and agitprop. The increasingly fraught scenes with the actors playing the Red Crescent volunteers don’t necessarily build in power. Our focus on that lone haunted voice — a little girl who literally doesn’t know what’s happening — drives the movie and, in the end, transcends it.
“Nuremberg” is all about how Hermann Göring (Russell Crowe), the number-two Nazi under Hitler, was placed on trial after World War II by the first international war-crimes tribunal. The movie, which premiered in Toronto, is a stately, polished, old-school drama of good and evil, with a lusciously traditional performance by Rusell Crowe as Göring (he’s good, though he doesn’t rock the boat.) But the movie turns out to have a historical shock-value card up its sleeve.
When “Nuremberg” finally reaches the courtroom, it demonstrates how documentary footage of the Nazi concentration camps was presented to the world, for the first time, at the Nuremberg trials. And the film itself stops in its tracks to show us five or six uninterrupted minutes of actual footage shot in the death camps (the piles of corpses, a walking human skeleton).
The decision to include that footage appears to have sprung from the filmmakers’ conviction that people, now more than ever, need to see this history. For the first time, an event as central to our culture as the Holocaust is receding in the collective memory. In that sense, “Nuremberg” does something responsible by reminding viewers of the profound horror of the Nazi crimes. Yet the hideous power of that footage has the ironic effect of diminishing the cat-and-mouse drama around it (will Rami Malek’s Army psychiatrist outwit Göring like Clarice Starling trying to psych out Hannibal Lecter? Will Göring find a way to squirm out of the death penalty?). It makes the rest of the movie seem all the more corny and…movie-ish.
In “The Voice of Hind Rajab” and “Nuremberg,” we are hit — singed — by the raw evidence of history. Yet both films, in different ways, raise the same question: Is all of this actually powerful filmmaking? Or is it an inadvertent demonstration of how the force of dramatic filmmaking can pale next to the power of reality?
Sufi Motiwala’s journey took a bold step forward with his appearance in the debut show Traitors, where he showcased his dynamic personality and creative flair. Since then, he has continued to build his voice as a critic and creator in the fashion space. In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, Sufi opened up about why he signed ‘Traitors’ and shared with us something that nobody knows about reality shows.
Talking about why he signed a reality show, Sufi said, “When you sign a reality show, you have to do it with the awareness that the whole point is for people to talk about you. That’s why I find it very duplicitous when people sign projects, go through with them, and then later behave like victims — blaming it on the edit and whatnot. I think that’s just bogus.”
He continued, “The reason I signed a reality show was because I wanted people to watch me, talk about me, follow me, and get in tune with my journey. Otherwise, why the hell would you even sign it? That’s just part of the process, and you have to live it. The key to a reality show is to live it — the friendships you make, the enemies you make, everything. You just have to see it through, and eventually, it all fades away. Honestly, I don’t think people even remember anything in the long run.”
When asked about what is the one thing that people don’t know about reality shows, Sufi replied, “On reality shows, people always keep claiming “scripted, scripted, scripted,” just because the show follows a certain plotline. But here’s the thing, most captivating reality shows cannot be scripted, because they are controlled. There’s a difference between being scripted and being controlled. “
He went on to explain further by saying, “Controlled meaning ki uss ghar mein voh aise situations create karte karte hai, aise haalat create karte hai, aise statements bulwaate hai jisse bhasad mache ya reaction mile ya plot aage badhe. but whatever people are doing, they’re doing out of their own volition, their own thinking, their own zubaan, that’s all them. “
Sufi ends it by saying, “Koi aake yeh nahi bol raha ki isko gaali do, show pe sab jo bhi kar rhe hai khudh hi se kar rhe hai, bas situations production create kar raha hai”
