Reality TV Legend Dr. Will Kirby Talks How He Pulled Off Secret Strategy & Formed Alliances

by jummy84 December 9, 2025
written by jummy84

What To Know

  • Dr. Will Kirby used a strategic alliance with real-life doctors to vote off TV doctors on Celebrity Weakest Link.
  • Kirby excelled in the game by answering all but one question correctly.
  • Although retired from competitive reality TV, Kirby expressed interest in trivia-based competitions.

Dr. Will Kirby, of Big Brother and Deal or No Deal Island fame, was one of the eight doctors on the December 8 episode of Celebrity Weakest Link, competing for charity. The reality TV legend came in third place behind Dr. Sandra Lee (Dr. Pimple Popper) and Dr. Dubrow.

He talked about making alliances with the medical doctors and voting off the TV doctors in a plan brought up by him. Kirby got every question, except one, correct, solidifying his place as one of the greatest competition players of all time. Despite forming an alliance with Dr. Lee, she voted him off in the final three because he was “just too good.”

The Big Brother 2 winner, and licensed dermatologist, faced off against Dr. Dubrow, Dr. Lee, Torrey Devitto, Ryan Eggold, Jason George, Hill Harper, and Kal Penn on the season finale. All except the first two played doctors on TV.

Kirby talked with TV Insider about his time on the game show, what was the hardest show he has done, what’s next for him, and more. Will Dr. Will fans see him return to TV? Read on to find out.

You are arguably one of the best gamers of all time. Did you have a strategy going into the Weakest Link? And if so, what was it?

Yeah. I mean, I don’t want to get overly philosophical with you, but I think if you analyze, and I consider myself a student of the genre, I’ve been doing this for a quarter of a century, if you can believe it. But basically, if you look at the way that competitive reality television works these days, I see it in three main categories. There’s shows that have KQ, which is kinetic quotient, and those are shows that require you to be extremely physical, like The Challenge. And then there are shows that you know require EQ, like Big Brother. That type of show requires social interaction, and that’s where people excel. And as I’m moving on in my unscripted reality television career, I’m now focusing more on IQ.

So, my strategy on the show was, obviously, there’s no KQ involved, and there’s a minimal amount of EQ involved. But for me, it was about IQ. I think I wanted to make sure that, first and foremost, I represented myself and my friends and family and job very well, but I just wanted to bring a level of intellect to my personal reality television legacy that people haven’t really seen before, and I think I accomplished that.

Greg Gayne/FOX

At the end of the show, it was revealed that the plan was to vote off all the TV doctors, instead of the real life doctors. Looking back, did you think that you had a better chance going against the TV doctors in the end?

It’s pretty interesting. I had never met Doctor Lee before, or Doctor DuBrow. I had never met them before, but I knew of them. And I had been on Real Housewives of Orange County a few times, but not with Dr Dubrow. Dr. Pimple Popper is a legend in my world, so I knew of her. So, when we arrived, it was unclear as to if we were allowed to go to other people’s trailers and chat with them. But I went over to introduce myself to Dr Lee.

One of the keys in reality television is to plant ideas, but let someone else think that they came up with it. I was just trying to be very friendly with her. And then she said, “Maybe we should work together.” And I said, “What?  I would be all for that. It’s going to be hard to work in pairs in this format. We need a third person we can trust.” So then I went to Dr. Dubrow and introduced myself, and then as the show was about to get started, I said, “Hey, alphabetical order.” And then they knew exactly what I meant, and they were off to the races.

That was hard for me, because I’m a big fan of a lot of the other doctors on there. And in a way, and I’m going to say this as politely as I can, but in a way, it was a little bit unfair, because the actors, and I have nothing but immense respect for that profession. You have to be really, really smart to be an actor, because you have to not just memorize written material, but you have to emote it. And that’s something that doctors do the opposite of. We cut ourselves off from emotions when we’re dealing with patients. It was really coming from two completely different angles. I went into it with a reality television background, knowing that I wanted to use the tools available to me to be competitive. I thought that the actors were going to kind of do that as well, because they all know each other, and they’ve all worked together before. But what I didn’t anticipate was that they’re also just sweet and sensitive, so when they were eliminated, you could tell they were actually kind of hurt. So, I felt really bad about it, because if you go on Survivor or The Amazing Race or Deal or No Deal Island, and you get eliminated, well, that’s the nature of the game. And I just kind of felt bad because they all seemed shocked, and they didn’t catch on until it was too late what we were doing.

You said Dr. Pimple Popper asked her to work with you, but she cut you off at the final three. Did that surprise you?

You know what? I wasn’t surprised at all. I mean, they really didn’t have a choice. She’s a super smart person, and you don’t get to her level or Dr. DuBrow’s level without having that level of just cleverness. So, I went to her, and I said, “Hey, I got you. Do you have me? Like, are we going to do this?” I didn’t want to be too in her face or too aggressive, for fear of her not wanting to be in an alliance. And I could tell she looked at me, and I was like, “Oh, no.” Then I went to Dr. Dubrow, and I was like, “Hey, what do you think about this last round or two, and then it was just hard to read.

So, when I was eliminated, I wasn’t shocked. I mean, I was, of course, disappointed, but it’s the type of show that all you can do is try to answer the questions to the best of your ability, and ironically, as you answer more and more correctly, you’re going to hurt yourself. And so it’s a fascinating format, because you want to do as best as you can from an intellectual perspective, but you also kind of have to hold your cards a little bit so that you don’t appear to be too big a threat. I think what kind of hurt me was that I was doing very well initially, and I truly felt that if I had made it to the final round, I would have really done well. I think they sensed that too.

I take no offense at all, and I wasn’t surprised at all. I’m never surprised, because I’ve been doing this for so long. But number two, in many ways, getting eliminated is flattering. That’s all you can do. Again, it comes down to those three elements: the IQ, EQ, and KQ. I really tried to rely primarily on the IQ, and then secondarily the EQ. You formulate a plan, and you float it out there, but luck is a big part of the competition shows.

You got every question but one, right, so…

Exactly. I think they were a bit intimidated by that.

Was there a certain category going in where you were like, “I really hope I don’t get a question in that?”

I’m a terrible speller. What you will find is that most doctors are. It’s really interesting. Doctors can be very technical and really great with their hands, and I think I’m am that, and some can be very artistic, and I think I’m that. But you’ll find a lot of doctors just really have a terrible command of language and how words are formed. So, I was afraid that there could be some sort of category that involves spelling. History is a terrible category for me, and sports is a terrible category for me. Pop culture, I can excel. Science and medicine, I definitely can excel. I feel very comfortable saying that. But in terms of sports, history, or spelling, those were going to be categories where I was really going to struggle.

You’ve done a lot of reality shows and game shows. Which do you think was the hardest— Weakest Link, Big Brother, or Deal or No Deal Island?

I actually love that you bring up those three in particular, because they go back to representing EQ, IQ, and KQ.. Again, EQ is really Big Brother where it’s socialization. On Deal or No Deal Island, although the emotional quotient is important, the show moved so fast that it was very difficult to build bonds. And then the Weakest Link is IQ.

My favorite is Weakest Link because you show up and some of your heroes are there and you’re competing against them, and it’s just humane and friendly and very fair, and it’s either you know the information, or you don’t. So I absolutely loved that,  but to actually address your question, each of those shows is very different. Big Brother is exceedingly difficult. And I am of the personal opinion that it is by far the most difficult show in the history of reality television, because it’s a marathon. It’s a slow burn.

It is so unbelievably difficult to be comfortable with who you are in this day and age. We live in such a loud world with so much noise. It’s so bright and colorful, and that’s neither good nor bad; it’s just factual. And when you go into the Big Brother house, the fans who watch the show diligently will tell you it is extremely, extremely hard on the human mind. It’s just very difficult. I have a ton of friends who have won Survivor and won The Amazing Race, and won Deal or No Deal Island. And I always tell them, “If you really, really think you’re good at this, go play Big Brother, because it’s just a whole other world in which very few people can excel, right?”

I know you announced your retirement from reality TV on Deal or No Deal Island, but are there any other shows you have not done that you would be interested in?

I’ve been doing this for 25 years, and I’ve had what I would consider to be an epic run. When I first started doing unscripted television, I never thought that a quarter century later I’d still be doing it. I just had such an epic run, and reality television is a young person’s game, at least unscripted television as we know it.

I’m in the sunset of my reality TV career. I’m very comfortable and at peace with that. But, there are two shows I would want to do. My dream is Celebrity Jeopardy!, and the other one is Celebrity Wheel of Fortune. Although if I’m not the best speller, maybe that’s not a good idea. The other one was Celebrity Weakest Link.

Do you have any other projects besides Weakest Link coming up that fans can look forward to?

When I was on Deal or No Deal Island, I officially announced my retirement. Jane Lynch called me out on that, and she absolutely should have, because I announced my retirement, but I should have been more specific. I’m retired from competing in and competitive-based unscripted reality shows. So, being on Survivor, although I would love to do it, it’s just probably not in the cards for me. Or, if Deal or No Deal Island had come back, I probably wouldn’t have done all stars for that. Or, Big Brother, I probably wouldn’t do that. But, when you’re competing in a show that can focus on my talents, which at this point in my reality career is IQ, well, then I’d be remiss if I didn’t really try to participate and win some money for charity.

So I would love to do a Celebrity Weakest Link all-star version, and I know I can do well. You guys saw me. I know pop culture, I know trivia, and my brain works very quickly when I’m in the zone. I don’t have any other active projects right now, but if you put me on Celebrity Jeopardy!, that would fulfill my dream. I have a strategy and just a knowledge base that I think I could really make that an interesting episode.

15 Best Timely Movies & TV Shows That Reflect Reality

Regina King is the true hero of this HBO limited series, adapted from the DC Comics graphic novels of the same name. Though Watchmen is set in a present-day alternate universe, it’s based on the true horrors of the Tulsa Race Massacre that took place in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1921, in which white supremacists targeted an area of town known as Black Wall Street for its thriving Black-owned businesses. Unlike in reality, the descendants of the massacre receive reparations, leaving resentment amongst the white supremacist group known as the Seventh Kavalry. King is a masked vigilante on a mission to put an end to the group’s pattern of racial violence. Watchmen also stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jeremy Irons, and Jean Smart as their characters must confront their own ethics in ways they’ve never had to before.. This nine-episode series is a masterclass in rich, nuanced storytelling about the traumas that wounds inflicted from racism hold — and the inherited pain that ensues if not addressed head-on. With the resurfacing of white nationalism and erasure of historical facts on federal and state levels, this prescient show is absolutely worth a rewatch today. Stream now on HBO Max.

Union Minister Deems HAQ As Bold, Calls It Close to Reality

by jummy84 November 7, 2025
written by jummy84

The Madhya Pradesh High Court has refused to stop the release of the film Haq, dismissing a petition filed by Shah Bano’s daughter. The court said the movie carries a clear disclaimer stating that it is a dramatized and fictional interpretation inspired by the 1985 Shah Bano Supreme Court judgment, not an exact biography of any real person. The judge also noted that details related to the case are already part of the public record, and once information enters the public domain, privacy over it no longer applies.

In the midst of this, Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal reacted to the film, saying Haq brings forward what really happened during the Shah Bano case and also reveals how the Congress leadership at that time engaged in appeasement politics. His comments have added a fresh political edge to the film’s release, especially as it touches upon one of the most debated legal and social moments in India’s history.

The court further observed that the petition was filed at the eleventh hour, even though reports about the film’s script, shooting and teaser had been out for months. Since the petitioner did not first challenge the censor certificate, the court found no reason to interfere and dismissed the plea.

Haq, starring Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam is releasing tomorrow. Directed by Suparn S Varma and backed by Junglee Pictures in association with Insomnia Films and Baweja Studios, the film explores a powerful real case that led to a landmark judgement by the Supreme Court. The censor board has cleared the film with zero cuts, granting it a UA certificate. It has also received a UA certificate from censor boards in the UAE, Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

‘A House of Dynamite’ Star Tracy Letts Talks ‘Reality’ of Netflix Film

by jummy84 November 2, 2025
written by jummy84

“A House of Dynamite” star Tracy Letts fears we may be cooked.

“Consider the possibility. There are a couple of existential crises we’re facing. So we should probably consider what that means if, maybe not in your lifetime, but your kid’s lifetime or whatever. What happens if we’re just all fucking done?” said the Pulitzer-winning playwright and character actor extraordinaire, who plays General Anthony Brady in the new political thriller directed by Oscar-winner Kathryn Bigelow. The film provides a chilling look at what could happen if a nuclear missile were launched at the United States.

Letts sits outside with IndieWire on the patio of a West Hollywood hotel, finally taking a breather after an intensive two days that saw him open his play “Mary Page Marlowe” at the Old Vic Theatre in London, wake up at 6 a.m. the next day to fly 14 hours to Los Angeles, and attend two screenings of “A House of Dynamite,” including its Los Angeles premiere. But even before it became the most-watched film on Netflix in one week, Letts was already happy with how audiences responded. “People seem to dig the movie, people are liking it, which is cool,” he said. “Or if they’re not, they’re not telling me, which is probably wise.”

'Terrifier 3'

Before he landed on what the film’s message may be, Letts signed on to “A House of Dynamite” simply “because it was a Kathryn project. And then when I read the script and saw the role she had in mind for me, that didn’t make it less interesting to me,” he said. “Everything about it for me was just ‘Go, go, go.’ I didn’t have any hesitation.” Though he identifies most with playing dad to the titular role in “Lady Bird” (“I’m a guy who likes to sit and read the paper and let the women make all the decisions”), the military role still felt close to home in a sense. “I’m a general and giving orders and that voice of authority, I can do it. They’re probably all just impersonations of my dad or whatever, but I can do it,” he said. Though “anybody who knows me knows I’m an old softy.”

Early questions Letts had for director Bigelow included “Is he George C. Scott in ‘Dr. Strangelove’? Is he a [war] hawk?” As he would later learn from his interactions with real-life generals advising him on his performance, there’s little time to discuss politics with only 18 minutes until a major American city is about to be wiped out by a missile. “He’s really just talking game theory. ‘If you do this, then they do that. If you don’t do this, then they might do that.’ It’s game theory. He just puts it out there for the president’s consideration. I was comfortable with all that because the argument made sense to me,” he said.

Again, Letts had access to multiple three- and four-star generals who had sat in STRATCOM, running through scenarios like the one seen in “A House of Dynamite.” He walked away impressed. “Those guys know their job intimately,” he said. “They drill [those scenarios] 400 times a year. So they’re very practiced at it. And the objective in the moment of crisis is a simple one. Collect information, pass information up the line.” If anything, it is the efficiency and clearheadedness of his character in particular that makes “A House of Dynamite” all the more terrifying.

“The scenario it presents is scarily plausible. There aren’t a lot of things that happen that couldn’t happen. It’s not a Martian who appears, right? This is not science fiction. This is just next to reality,” said Letts. “If you’re going to make that kind of movie, you can’t miss on some of the technical details. All that stuff’s got to be right.”

That all starts with the screenplay from Oscar nominee Noah Oppenheim, who, as the previous head of NBC News, has rubbed elbows with many of the players who would be involved in a National Security emergency. “People get mad at me if I make light of research,” said Letts, but “you do what you need to do. And certainly in a case like this where so much of the research has been done for you, which the dramaturgy is on the page, the research has been done, it’s been vetted, re-vetted, they surrounded me with all of the context I would need in order to be able to pretend with authority, which is all the job really entails as an actor. To be able to get a good haircut and put on the uniform and walk out on set and know the lines, hopefully, and be able to deliver them with some authority, [and] to deliver that language in a way that feels natural.”

Going through those motions, informed by all that research, the film proved to Letts that Americans “are not as prepared as we think.” He added, “This movie shows a scenario in which everything kind of goes right. The government’s functioning pretty well. Not all of the equipment necessarily functions the way we would want it to, but I think they even quote at one point that those [Ground-Based Interceptors] are supposed to be functioning at a 61 percent success rate, but even that’s under ideal circumstances.”

In the world of “A House of Dynamite,” “Everybody in the government is functioning well and thoughtfully, that’s if everybody is accepting the gravity of the moment and doing their jobs well.” And the President of the United States, played by Idris Elba, seems sensible. “Imagine a scenario in which he’s maybe not all the way there, or perhaps even manifestly irresponsible. Then it becomes a much scarier consideration,” said Letts.

Ultimately, “we’ve built a machine, a very complicated device. If all the parts function properly inside that device, if everything works the way it’s supposed to work, civilization’s over,” said the star of what his new film illuminates. “What if we just reconsider the machine entirely?” Letts mentions that he has been recently asked about a shot of Lincoln’s bust in “A House of Dynamite” and what that may invoke, something that also stood out to him the first time he saw the film.

“Of course, you immediately think about the presidents who have risen to the moment, those that haven’t,” he said. “But the second time watching it was like, ‘Oh, none of that matters.’ Civilization is wiped out. President? Meaningless. It doesn’t matter. It’s all gone.”

“Kathryn won’t cop to this,” but “artists are starting to grapple with this idea of what does it mean if we’re really done here?” said Letts. He uses Thomas Vinterberg’s recent series “Families Like Ours,” about Denmark being evacuated in response to climate change, as another example. These projects provide the warnings that, if not heeded, prove “it’s not going to get better. It’s only getting worse.”

With all that said, the actual experience making “A House of Dynamite” was still enjoyable. “It’s an ensemble piece. Everybody’s chipping in to help where they can, which is the nice thing about it,” said Letts. “There’s nobody who’s the obvious kind of awards player. It’s like we don’t have to do that. So everybody’s there for the right reasons. It’s just all Kathryn, Kathryn, Kathryn.”

Having now worked with Bigelow on her first film in nearly a decade, reminiscent of her other work like “The Hurt Locker” and “Zero Dark Thirty,” which both received Academy recognition, Letts is more excited at the thought of the director dipping even further back into her oeuvre. “I’m old. I remember seeing ‘Near Dark’ in the movie theater very well. And so I think of Kathryn as more varied than just this kind of documentary/military [style]. I know that she’s got more tools,” he said. “I hope she goes back to that stuff, frankly. I heard the word ‘Western’ at some point. I’d be thrilled if that were a reality.”

Letts himself has recently developed a reputation as the King of Physical Media, boasting of a collection of around 11,000 DVDs, so there is a slight irony in his latest film being distributed by a streaming service. “There will come a moment where I get to hold my hand up to say, ‘We should have this 4K available too,’” he joked, also campaigning for director David Fincher’s Netflix films, and Martin Scorsese’s Apple film “Killers of the Flower Moon” to release physical 4K copies.

However the film has made him feel about the world, Letts’ best experience with “A House of Dynamite” has been seeing it in a theater. “To have that Volker Bertelmann score just vibrating your sternum, and in a way sort of telling you when to breathe, or how to breathe throughout the movie, I just don’t think it’s going to play the same at home as it is on the big screen. So I hope people check it out in the movie theater.

“A House of Dynamite” is now out in select theaters nationwide and streaming on Netflix.

The Rise of Phygital: Extending Reality as the New Frontier of Brand Experience and World-building

by jummy84 October 28, 2025
written by jummy84

Leveraging AI, AR, VR, XR, and emerging technologies to create richer community-centric brand experiences

By Kristina McCoobery, CEO & Co-Founder, INVNT

The Rise of Phygital

The walls between physical and digital are crumbling. What once felt like parallel universes are now one continuous reality. Phygital experiences, where in-person presence meets digital possibility, have become the heartbeat of modern brand storytelling.

Audiences don’t just want to watch, they want to feel, to belong, to co-create. For brands, that means delivering both the trust and tangibility of real-world interaction and the infinite possibility of digital technology.

A Changing Landscape for Brand Storytelling

Brands and marketers are doubling down on experiences to reach customers and get “more bang for their bucks.” The market is on fire with global growth as businesses lean into branded events to overcome audience fragmentation and shifting consumer behaviours.

At INVNT, we see this growth first-hand. With clients such as Amex, Oracle, General Motors, Netflix, Samsung, PepsiCo., Geely,Lamborghini, Microsoft and Xero contributing to a global business pool north of $150M USD, it is clear: the future belongs to brands that move beyond campaigns and create living, breathing worlds of engagement.

Audiences are tougher to reach, content is everywhere, and loyalty is fleeting. The challenge is to be unforgettable and not simply seen.

What Experiential Means Today

Experiential used to mean events. Now, it means creating brand moments that move markets and rewrite culture, alongside fully immersive experiences.

At INVNT, we define it as storytelling engineered to engage, cut through noise, and dent history. It spans live, digital, hybrid, AI-powered, XR-enabled, and immersive formats, all designed to spark emotion and drive action.

In today’s world of “is it real, or is it not?” AI-generated content, experiential stands as the last frontier of authenticity. It is intimate, emotional, and utterly unreplicable.

Unlike other agencies, we scale faster, integrate deeper, and innovate bolder.

Why Phygital, and Why Now?

As the boundaries between physical and digital dissolve, brands are reimagining what it means to connect. From augmented reality installations at live events to digital artefacts with real-world value, phygital is not a trend, it is the inevitable future of brand experience.

Phygital delivers the trust of the tangible and the power of the infinite.

A digital campaign might scroll past in seconds, but a phygital experience lingers in the body and the mind. It allows audiences to hold the brand in their hands while engaging with its digital twin through a screen, headset, or connected space. That fusion creates deeper engagement, lasting memory, and stronger emotional connection.

Technology Is the Enabler, Not the Story

At INVNT, we leverage emerging technologies like AI, AR, VR, and Web3 to elevate human experience, not replace it.

  • AR turns products and environments into portals to new worlds.
  • VR dissolves time and geography, transporting audiences into immersive brand narratives.
  • XR integrates all realities into a single continuum, expanding the canvas for what’s humanly possible at scale

But the tools are only powerful when used in service of storytelling.

Emerging digital world-building technologies reshape ownership, participation, and community, creating new ways for audiences to not just engage with brands, but to live inside them.

But technology alone is never the story, the story is what outlives the platform.

Innovation in Action

INVNT has pioneered some of the world’s most exciting phygital campaigns:

  • Lamborghini: Designed the world’s first metaverse-inspired NFT supercar with twin physical car – auctioning for $1.6M, in partnership with Steve Aoki, Krista Kim, and RM Sotheby’s – marking the automotive brand’s pivot to an all-electric future.
  • COP28: Brought the Tree of Life to life using AI, enabling people to speak with “Mother Nature” and create personal climate pledges visualised through generative art, driving global impressions across social media.
  • Xero: Built the AI Music Factory at Xerocon, a GenAI-powered activation where attendees created custom songs and vinyl records in real time.
  • ABB: Created ABB-e, a fully interactive, AI-powered brand mascot built with GPT-4 and Unreal Engine, now a global standard for intelligent brand engagement.
  • Microsoft: Launched CoPilot globally, blending legacy, innovation, and cultural storytelling, leading up to the celebration of Microsoft’s 50th Anniversary.
  • Ferrari: The “It’s Virtually Yours” campaign blended the real and digital worlds by transforming empty global streets into immersive test tracks – inviting VIPs into local showrooms to slip on VR headsets and experience a mixed-reality test drive that fused the physical Roma with a virtual journey through their own city’s landmarks.

These examples show that phygital isn’t just creative, but measurable, scalable, and impactful.

What Brands Should Consider

  1. Begin with the story: Technology must serve a purpose.
  2. Design for both presence and participation: Whether in-person or remote, everyone should feel equally involved.
  3. Create utility, not spectacle: AI, AR, VR, XR, and even NFTs should enhance the journey, not just impress.
  4. Think long-term: Phygital experiences are chapters in a brand’s larger narrative.

The Future Is Hybrid…and Human

Our industry’s biggest challenge remains proving ROI, but advances in data now make it possible to measure who attends, what they engage with, and what value is created. Combined with social amplification and in-person energy, the ROI of experiences is clearer than ever.

The global pandemic reinforced a simple truth: in-person connection is irreplaceable. But when layered with innovation, we have seen firsthand that its impact multiplies.

In conclusion, phygital is showing up in the ways that matter most, showing up with creativity, consistency, and human depth.

Reigning Champ Faces a Tough Challenge From Former Reality Show Contestant

by jummy84 October 27, 2025
written by jummy84

Management consultant Shaan Mirshra returned to defend his title of Jeopardy! champion after beating Tom Devil in last Friday’s showdown. The Carmel, Indiana, resident returns to the podium with a one-day total of $15,600. Will he add to his winnings, or will a new contestant steal his title?

On Monday, October 27, Mishra faced off against Morgan Walker, a marketing director from Glenwood Springs, Colorado, and Aaron Levine, a sports anchor from Seattle, Washington. If Levine looks familiar, it’s because he previously competed on the reality series Dream Job, where he came in second place.

Will they have what it takes to topple the champ?

Ken Jennings welcomed back Mishra and told the anecdote about the young contestant getting the call to be on Jeopardy! while he was on a 17-country backpacking trip. “Quite a Jeopardy! journey for Shaan so far,” commented the host.

Mishra started the game with “Rainforest Meet Desert” for $1,000, which offered the clue: “Much of Eastern Washington is deserty scablands; Out west, this rainforest-filled national park lies on the same-name peninsula.” Levine buzzed in first with the correct answer, “What is Olympic?,” giving him the lead.

Just two clues in and Levine found the first Daily Double of the game under “Final Resting Places” for $800. Wagering $1,000 on the clue, “Levallois-Perret Cemetery is where this civil engineer known as the ‘Magician of Iron’ came to rest after his 1923 death,” Levine got the right answer with Gustave Eiffel. With that correct answer, Levine was able to jump into an early lead.

By the first break, Levine was ahead with $4,400 and Walker was next with $2,000, while champ Mishra was in third with $1,800.

During the anecdote section of the game, Walker talked about her mountain home, where her neighbors are “a river, and a Wendy’s,” which makes her abode a favorite destination for the local bear population. Levine talked about his job as a local sportscaster, and how he was stoked with Jennings reposted one of his commentaries. And Mishra talked about his early entrepreneurial days, when he started a pop-up restaurant while in college that boasted a four-course tasting menu. “I think I set off smoke alarms in six different kitchens in my life,” said the champ. “But I accept no responsibility!”

By the end of the first round of Jeopardy!, Levine was in the lead with $7,200, champ Mishra was second with $4,000, and Walker was in third with $2,200.

In the Double Jeopardy round, Leven found the second Daily Double of the game in the category of “A Bit O’ Lit” for $1,600. The clue was: “A group of 10 young people head to a country villa to escape the plague afflicting Florence in this 14th-century work.” With a wager of $5,000 on his total of $9,200, Levine answered correctly, “The Decameron.” His total surged to $14,200, placing him well ahead of Walker, who had $2,200, and Mishra, whose total was $4,000.

Just three clues later, Mishra found the third and final Daily Double under “Czech Yourself” for $1,600. The clue was, “If you’re gonna defenestrate, do it in Prague, site of them in 1419, 1483 & 1618, the proximate cause of this conflict.” Betting $4,000 against his $6,000 total, Mishra answered incorrectly with Crimean War (the correct answer was the Thirty Years’ War). This plummetted the champ to third place with a $2,000 total, as Walker had a pot of $2,2000 and Levine was in first with a healthy $15,500.

Going into Final Jeopardy, Levine was in the lead with $14,600, Walker moved to second with $10,200, and champ Mishra was in third with $4,800.

The Final Jeopardy category was “On The Map” with the clue: “An official American Viticultural Area spanning multiple states includes this eastern island where you’ll find the town of Chilmark.” Walker lost  with her answer, “What is Long Island?” She bet almost her entire pot with a wager of $10,198, leaving her with $2. Both Mishra and Levine got the right answer with, “What is Martha’s Vineyard?” Mishra bet $4,000, bringing his total to $8,800, which was not enough to hold on to his title as Levine wagered $6,000, marking his total at $20,600.

And with that, Jeopardy! has a new champion with Aaron Levine.

Get Ready For A Dose Of Reality: Sonakshi Sinha Addresses Pregnancy Rumors Once And For All! | Glamsham.com

by jummy84 October 18, 2025
written by jummy84

Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha has shut down rampant pregnancy rumours using some good old-fashioned sense of humour. In a recent Instagram post, the actress dealt with the rampant gossip in a lighthearted and inimitable manner, demonstrating that one time laughter actually is the best medicine.

The actress posted a set of pictures from a Diwali celebration with her husband, Zaheer Iqbal, where the duo looked happy and relaxed. Sonakshi and Zaheer are enjoying a hearty laugh together in one of the snaps, looking stylishly dressed in party gear. Sonakshi simply glowed in an ivory traditional wear, whereas Zaheer went for a timeless navy look, making them a perfect pair.

What everyone was, however, talking about was the cheeky caption put up by Sonakshi. “World record holder for longest pregnancy in human history (16 months and counting according to our lovely and hyper-intelligent media) simply for posing with hand around midsection,” she posted, bringing a hint of humour to the prevailing rumour mill.

The playful reply immediately responded with a viral effect, as fans and other celebrities deluged the post with laughter emojis and encouraging remarks. Many lauded her for diffusing the situation with wit and elegance and not engaging in a confrontation.

Speculation regarding her pregnancy had grown after the couple had attended designer Vikram Phadnis’s gala earlier this month. Sonakshi had been clicked with her hand wrapped casually around her midsection, with some tabloids picking it up as a “hint” of pregnancy. Rumours got further fuel on social media, prompting heavy buzz regarding the couple’s personal life.

In a lighter moment, Zaheer Iqbal too got into the act. At some time, he was caught on camera mimicking cradling her belly in play, indicating clearly that the rumor was unfounded. As per Bollywood Hungama, this moment of levity between the pair was their subtle and pointed response to the undue attention.

Sonakshi and Zaheer exchanged their marriage vows in June 2024 after having a long relationship. The couple has frequently been under the limelight since their marriage, with people and media waiting for news about their lives. This is another instance of how celebrity couples are put through out-of-context interpretations of mere gestures.

With this sarcastic tweet, Sonakshi not only put the rumors to rest but also reminded everyone that celebrities are entitled to their private space — and sometimes a well-timed joke can convey more than a formal apology ever could.
