The wedding of Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma was a fairytale come true, but what happened behind the scenes will leave you surprised! Wedding filmmaker Vishal Punjabi recently revealed the juicy details of their special day in an interview.

Vishal Punjabi On Struggles Behind Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma Wedding

It was December 11, 2017, and the couple exchanged vows in a beautiful Italian setting. However, the weather had other plans! Heavy rainfall forced the wedding planners to shift the location at the last minute. “Virat and Anushka’s wedding was canceled due to rain. They changed the venue at the last minute,” Vishal Punjabi revealed. The wedding planner, Devika Narayan, didn’t sleep all night relocating the mandap. Despite the chaos, the wedding turned out to be a magical celebration of love.

“I didn’t know whose wedding it was. Everything was kept secret,” he revealed. Despite this, the couple had complete faith in his work and taste. Vishal described the wedding as “magical” and “divine”, with a “certain level of Sufiism” to it. The couple’s love and commitment to each other were palpable, making the day truly unforgettable. Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s love story is one for the ages. From their first meeting on the sets of a TV commercial to their beautiful wedding and now, their adorable kids, Vamika and Akaay, this power couple has stolen our hearts.

“Funny how your life can be upended just for telling the truth.” Magnolia has revealed the trailer for Good Night, and Good Luck: Live From Broadway, a taped version of the stage play from George Clooney. The original Good Night, and Good Luck movie opened in 2005 – it’s co-written by George Clooney, and directed by Clooney, the second feature film he directed (after Confessions of a Dangerous Mind in 2002). Clooney’s Tony-nominated, box-office record-breaking Broadway play chronicling a time in US history when legendary newsman Edward R. Murrow took an on-air stand against a growing tide of fearmongering and disinformation—and won. Their intro: “The recent government interference in Jimmy Kimmel Live and the dubious cancellation of Stephen Colbert’s The Late Show have brought the embattled state of free speech to the forefront of America’s attention. For the first time since the one-time-only CNN broadcast this summer, audiences can experience this story of a free press under assault, and with it can join in a conversation about what it means to stand up above politics for that inalienable right to expression and information.” The cast in the play includes Clooney as Murrow (played by David Strathairn in the film), with Ilana Glazer, Glenn Fleshler, Clark Gregg, Carter Hudson, Paul Gross, Christopher Denham, & Fran Kranz. Even if you know the film, this looks like a must watch new version of this story. Catch it at home on VOD anytime.

‘I used to dance all 9 nights’: Nita Ambani gets roaring welcome at Falguni Pathak dandiya night in Mumbai

The festive fervour of Navratri is in full swing across India, and Mumbai witnessed one of its most spectacular celebrations at the Radiance Dandiya night, hosted at the Jio World Convention Centre. Leading the celebrations was Nita Ambani, who joined Falguni Pathak for an evening filled with devotion, music, and the vibrant spirit of garba.

A video showed Nita Ambani dancing with Falguni Pathak.(Instagram/@jioworldconventioncentre)

From offering prayers to matching steps to the rhythmic beats of garba, Nita Ambani’s graceful participation set the tone for a night. Dressed in festive attire, she was seen performing garba steps alongside Pathak, drawing applause from the audience.

Nita Ambani recalls childhood memories

Speaking at the event, Nita Ambani shared her personal connection with the festival. “I remember, when I was a young girl, I used to dance all nine nights of Navratri. It brings back so many beautiful memories,” she said. She also spoke about her long association with Falguni Pathak, adding, “I’ve known Falguni for 25 years.”

Navratri, celebrated over nine days, is dedicated to Goddess Durga and involves fasting, prayers, and evening performances of garba and dandiya. Cities like Ahmedabad, Vadodara, and Mumbai transform into cultural hotspots, with music, traditional attire, and spirited dancing at the heart of the festivities.

The Ambani family has long been known for celebrating Indian traditions with grandeur, and this year was no different. Nita Ambani’s brief but energetic garba steps with Falguni Pathak became one of the highlights of the Radiance Dandiya event, which was held at the Jio Convention Centre in Mumbai.

Navratri celebrations

Navratri is not just a religious festival but a celebration of life and devotion. Each day honours a different form of Goddess Durga, with specific rituals, colours, and offerings adding to the richness of this spiritual journey.

Scores, Performances, and Reviews for TikTok Night

by jummy84 October 1, 2025
written by jummy84

[WARNING: This post contains MAJOR spoilers from Dancing With the Stars Season 34, Week 3.]

The competition is getting even more intense during Episode 3 of Dancing With the Stars Season 34. During the Tuesday, September 30, episode, the remaining 12 pairs hit the dance floor once again to perform routines to songs that have gone viral on TikTok. Judges Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli offered their critiques and gave the contestants their scores.

One person will be eliminated at the end of the episode based on viewer votes and the judges’ scores. Follow along as we live blog all of the performances and reveal the scores. Keep checking back as we update throughout the episode!

Jen Affleck — 19/30

For her Week 3 cha-cha-cha, Jen Affleck performed to “She’s a Bad Mama Jama,” which is the same song she previously went viral for dancing to on TikTok. She threw it back to that viral video by starting the routine wearing a fake baby bump and hospital gown, then ripping it off to show off her sexy gold costume.

“Mamma mia! That was an easy delivery, wasn’t it? In, out, cha-cha-cha-, down, next! I’ve never quite seen anything like it, I have to say,” Tonioli said. However, he said Affleck needed a little bit more foot action and to be a bit “cleaner on the finish.” Inaba gushed, “You are such a hottie!” and said it was “so impressive” that she did that routine so soon after pregnancy. “But, there’s a little bit hyperextension going on in some of your moves,” she added.

Hough concluded the critiques by telling Affleck she gave a “great performance,” and warned her she needed to have straight legs and the “proper Cuban motion” in this particular dance. “Overall, I think your performance is starting to evolve and come out,” he concluded. Inaba gave the routine a 7, but Tonioli and Hough scored Affleck with 6s.

Lauren Jauregui — 18/30

Lauren Jauregui hit the dance floor next with a cha-cha-cha to her band Fifth Harmony’s song “Work From Home.” Of course, they threw in some original 5H choreography to the routine, as well.

“The way you move, I really like the way you move, you’re very in tune with your body,” Inaba said. “I want to see a lot more pop in your step. I just want you to hit certain things harder. I want more dynamics. I think you have it in you.” Hough said there’s “something beautiful” about the way Jauregui moves, but agreed with Inaba’s comments that she needs more “power” in her Latin moves.

“They’re absolutely right,” Tonioli added. “You have a wonderful lyrical quality. When you dance Latin … sometimes you have to hit the beat. Flow your body as you would do with your voice.” She received 6s from all three judges, which was down from last week.

Danielle Fishel — 21/30

After getting her first 7 last week, Danielle Fishel had even more to prove this time around (especially since she’s battling an injury). She performed a foxtrot to “Manchild” by Sabrina Carpenter, her former Girl Meets World costar.

“You’re just so pleasant and refreshing. There’s a simplicity and a grace when you dance,” Hough said. “The control and the foxtrot fundamentals, thank you so much. One note tonight is that when you use your arms, use it from your ribcage. An extension from your ribcage. So your whole body moves.”

Toniolo praised Fishel for taking his past advice about watching her shoulders. He called the dance “lovely” and “elegant,” adding, “The TikTok did not take away from the style of the dance. It was incorporated beautifully.” Inaba agreed with her fellow judges and said the routine was “very beautiful,” but told Fishel she can “work a little bit on [her] body contact” in the future. She improved from her scores last week, earning 7s with all of the judges.

Jordan Chiles — 24/30

After her major improvements last week, Jordan Chiles returned with a tango to “Anxiety.” The response to the “really hard” routine was so overwhelming that Chiles got emotional afterwards.

“Don’t cry, your improvement has been astonishing. My baby has transformed into a stalking panther! Clean, clear, powerful, focused. Your best dance yet,” Tonioli raved. Inaba thanked Chiles for sharing her own story with anxiety. “That was an example of how to be smooth and fierce. Amazing again, my friend,” she added. Hough said he was “really impressed” with how Chiles kept her frame, despite her height difference with Sosa.

For the powerful routine, Chiles earned 8s from all three judges. The highest scores of the season so far!

Dylan Efron — 23/30

Dylan Efron’s dance this week was a foxtrot to Justin Bieber’s “Yukon.”

“I’m having a hard time scoring this. I am torn,” Inaba said. “There’s a beginner level group and then the advanced, showman entertain group. You are like the beginner group, but you are really learning the technique, and that’s the key to winning this season, in particular. You are really learning the technique.” Hough called the foxtrot “smooth as silk” and said he was impressed by Efron’s “control” and “stride” in the dance. “We do not see that. That was exceptional,” he raved.

Tonioli concluded the comments by calling Efron “smoldering” and said technically the dance was very impressive. Tonioli and Hough both gave Efron 8s, while Inaba scored the dance a 7, giving him his highest score yet.

More to come …

Laufey’s Opening Night Show at LA’s Crypto.com Arena: Best Moments

by jummy84 September 27, 2025
written by jummy84

Laufey opened a two-night stand at Crypto.com Arena in downtown Los Angeles on Friday (Sept. 26) with a show that captured her unique place in pop — her music is rooted in jazz, but her concert has pop-superstar production values.

The A Matter of Time Tour, the Icelandic singer-songwriter’s third tour and her first that consists entirely of arena dates, began on Sept. 15 in Orlando. It will conclude in Kópavogur, Iceland, on March 15, 2026.

Laufey (it’s pronounced LAY-vay, for those still catching up to her) won a Grammy for best traditional pop vocal album in 2024 for her sophomore album, Bewitched, and she could be headed for another win in that category on Feb. 1 for her third album, A Matter of Time. The album entered the Billboard 200 at No. 4. It has topped Billboard’s Jazz Albums chart for the past four weeks. (Bewitched logged 102 weeks at No. 1 on that chart.)

For all she has achieved, you have the sense that, Laufey, just 26, is still climbing. She has some big looks upcoming. She may well land a performance slot on the Grammy telecast – it would be her first star turn on Music’s Biggest Night. (She performed “From the Start,” a song from Bewitched, on the 2024 Premiere Ceremony, which is streaming-only, and backed Billy Joel during his show-closing performance on that year’s telecast. Also, she is set to play the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival on Apr 19. She has said she would like to record a James Bond theme song, which seems inevitable, which could bring in a performance on the Oscar telecast.  Are we getting ahead of ourselves? Perhaps, but it’s pretty clear to see the career path she’s on.

Laufey didn’t get where she is by thinking small. In 2023, she told RUSSH that Taylor Swift is her favorite current artist. The reason she gave for that choice spoke to her ambitions: “She has done for pop and country what I hope to do for jazz. She has managed to unite people across the world which is one of my main goals as a musician.”

Laufey’s choice of opening act for her tour’s North American leg — English pop/rock artist Suki Waterhouse — also spoke to her pop ambitions.

In 2022, when Laufey first headlined in L.A., she played the legendary but comparatively tiny Troubadour. Her growth since then can be seen in her bookings: In November 2023, she played two nights at the Theatre at the Ace Hotel. On her return in August 2024, she played the Hollywood Bowl. This time, it was a sold-out, two-night stand at Crypto.

Here are the six best moments from Laufey’s opening night show at Crypto.com Arena.

The show opened like a vintage film, with the words “Laufey Presents ‘A Matter of Time’” projected onto the screen. It began and ended with scrolling credits on side screens, listing all the musicians, backup dancers and other contributors to the performance.

“Cuckoo Ballet (Interlude),” a gorgeous instrumental track from A Matter of Time, was highly cinematic, and showed that Laufey might well have a future in film scoring.

The concert was divided into acts, with the most satisfying being Act II, which was introduced with these words on the screen: “Ready for some jazz?” Laufey was backed by a jazz trio during this segment. “Welcome to my jazz club,” she told the audience. “I want to put a jazz club in the middle of a big space.”

The segment kicked off with “Seems Like Old Times,” first recorded by Guy Lombardo’s orchestra in 1945 and since covered by such jazz greats as Ella Fitzgerald and Rosemary Clooney. It was the only song she didn’t write or co-write in the set.

Laufey performs a surprise song in every show, to make each show a unique experience, she said. Here, she reached back for “Magnolia,” from her 2021 EP, Typical of Me. She said she had recently discovered that the song works better as a duet and brought out a special guest, Hozier, to help her sing it. After they concluded the number, she fangirled: “I’m kind of freaking out because I’m such a big fan.”

Over the course of the show, Laufey played piano, guitar and cello. Her voice, with a deeper timbre reminiscent of one of her favorite singers, Ella Fitzgerald, was also impressive.

She also showed a deep knowledge of music history. “Dreamer” had the close-harmony sound of a 1940s song, “Silver Lining” suggested the influence of 1950s-shaded doo-wop. A couple of songs, “Castle in Hollywood” and “Tough Luck” showed the influence of Taylor Swift on her songwriting. “Sabotage,” the final number in the set (before the encore) evoked the aggressive pop-rock of Olivia Rodrigo’s “Vampire.”

Laufey made note of the tonal “ups and downs” in her set, with its mix of happy and sad songs. “That’s what it feels like to be a woman,” she explained. “You go through every emotion in a 24-hour cycle.” Far be it from me to correct Laufey, but that’s what it feels like to be a human.

One of her most emotional songs is “Promise” (from Bewitched), which includes what she has called her favorite lyrics that she has written. “It hurts to be something, it’s worse to be nothing with you.” She performed the song by herself at the piano.

Laufey said that since she now lives in L.A., she often comes to Crypto.com Arena to see shows. “I’ve come to a lot of concerts here this year preparing for this and I thought, ‘There’s no way I’m playing here.’”

The singer remembered the first time she played L.A. at the Troubadour. She nervously peeked out through a window to view the audience and just hoped she would be able to do it again someday. “It was the biggest show I’d played to that point,” she said. “I was so scared it would slip away.”

    She needn’t have worried.

Watch: Proof of Concept for Genndy Tartakovsky’s ‘Black Night’ Film

by Alex Billington

Meet the Black Knight. Animation master Genndy Tartakovsky has revealed a first look proof-of-concept promo for a project he has been working on. Tartakovsky is well known as one of the modern masters of animation, creator of “Dexter’s Laboratory”, “Samurai Jack”, “Sym-Bionic Titan”, “Star Wars: Clone Wars”, “Primal”, and “Unicorn: Warriors Eternal”. His most recent movie was Fixed, which Netflix picked up and released this year after the studio dropped it. He has another project that is in limbo as well. Black Night is a project that Genndy was developing with Sony Pictures Animation. The intro: “After failing to protect his king, a highly skilled and faithful knight must transform into the Black Knight to save the kingdom.” Set during the 14th century, this suit of armor is actually controlled by someone inside. Genndy explains Sony is unsure if there’s an audience for it, so he went rogue and posted this clip on his Instagram hoping to show people and get a reaction from potential audience members… So – would you watch a movie about this guy?

Black Night Test

Thanks to Twitter for the tip on this video debuting. Genndy Tartakovsky explains more about this Black Knight project via his IG: “Well, this might get me in trouble… But gotta try a new strategy. About 6 years ago we started development on a more adult animated action movie, The Black Knight. We developed it for a few years, the studio liked what we were doing but they were unsure if there is an audience that would go see it theatrically. We made a down and dirty test, and still no go. So to try something different I thought I would share the test to see if it can get a ground swell of excitement that would change the studio’s mind. I won’t share the details of the story except for one element, our Knight Armor is 20 feet high and controlled by a knight inside using ropes, pulleys, and levers. The setting is around the 14th century… Anyways, I’ve already said too much…” The Black Knight info lists Genndy Tartakovsky as director, with Patrick Burleigh and Tartakovsky as the writers. Maybe they will let them finish the movie one day? Stay tuned… Thoughts?

No simulcast deal for Jays’ game Friday night

by jummy84 September 26, 2025
written by jummy84

TORONTO – Baseball fans in Canada should not expect a repeat of a deal that allowed Sportsnet to air a simulcast of Apple TV’s Friday Night Baseball broadcast that featured the Toronto Blue Jays last week.

As a result of the agreement, the streamer was given the rights for Friday’s game between the Blue Jays and Tampa Bay Rays.

“Apple has it exclusively,” a Sportsnet spokesperson said Thursday afternoon in an email.

Sportsnet, the Canadian team’s domestic rights-holder, reached a deal with the Blue Jays, Apple TV and Major League Baseball ahead of last Friday’s game between Toronto and Kansas City.

That matchup had the potential to be a playoff clincher for the Blue Jays. The Royals pounded Toronto 20-1 that night but the Blue Jays would secure a post-season berth two days later.

Expert says the Blue Jays have a good chance at making the playoffs this year

Entering Thursday’s games, there was a scenario that could have seen the Blue Jays move into a potential clinch situation for the American League East Division title on Friday.

But when Toronto defeated the Boston Red Sox 6-1 and the New York Yankees beat the Chicago White Sox 5-3, the Blue Jays’ magic number was trimmed to three. That left Saturday as the earliest possible clinch date.

Instead of airing on Sportsnet, Friday’s Jays-Rays matchup will only be shown on Apple TV+, leaving non-subscribers without a viewing option.

There were no plans to change that arrangement, a baseball source confirmed Thursday.

Almost all Blue Jays games air on Sportsnet, but a handful of Toronto games throughout the 162-game season air on Apple TV+ as part of the streamer’s partnership with MLB.

Toronto is looking to win the East crown for the first time since 2015. The Blue Jays hold the tiebreaker over the Yankees in the event they finish the regular season on Sunday with the same record.

The top two division winners will earn byes to the best-of-five division series. The other four AL playoff teams will play in best-of-three wild-card series.

Toronto made the playoffs three times between 2020 and ’23 but was swept in the wild-card series each time.

The Blue Jays haven’t won a post-season game since 2016. Toronto’s last World Series title came in 1993.

Sportsnet and the Blue Jays are owned by Rogers Communications.

Bigg Boss 19: Movie Night Turns Explosive As Awez Darbar Breaks Down After Fight With Baseer Ali | Glamsham.com

What started as an entertaining surprise in the Bigg Boss 19 house quickly turned into an emotional battleground. In a recent promo, Bigg Boss announces a movie night for all the housemates — but with a shocking twist. The contestants are shown what people outside the house are saying about them based on their behavior inside, sparking immediate tension.

The housemates, including Abhishek Bajaj, are seen reacting with surprise and curiosity, while Shehbaz Badeshah jokingly comments, “Kya teer maar rahe ho,” adding a touch of humour. However, the atmosphere soon shifts.

A major clash erupts between Awez Darbar and Baseer Ali, escalating quickly after a light moment turns sour. In one scene, Baseer and Zeishan Quadri are seen laughing together, which irks Awez. He snaps, calling them “chomu log” — a slang remark that visibly offends Baseer.

Baseer retaliates with full force, saying, “Chomu tu hoga. Chela, chomu, chilke tu hai.” Awez tries to de-escalate, saying softly, “Personal cheezein baatein kar rahe hai,” but Baseer hits back hard with, “Nikalu kya history?” hinting at something deeper and more personal.

Visibly shaken by the exchange, Awez breaks down in tears, questioning the hurtful allegations being made. “Ye kya baatein kar rahe hain ye log? Fake allegations kaise laga sakte hai?” he says emotionally.

This emotionally charged episode highlights how quickly emotions run high in the Bigg Boss house — especially when reputations are on the line.

Bigg Boss 19, hosted by Salman Khan for the 16th time, is currently streaming 24×7 on JioHotstar and airs on Colors TV every night at 10:30 PM.

Reneé Rapp kicked off her Bite Me Tour this week at the vaunted Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, bringing her biggest hits and fan favorites to the mountains.

The pop singer/songwriter is promoting her sophomore album Bite Me, which arrived last month in the top five of the Billboard 200 (No. 3 peak) and marked her first No. 1 on the U.K. albums chart. She performed all 12 songs from the project, marking the live debut of a handful of the new tracks. She also, of course, performed “Colorado” to mark the location of her opening night.

Our Billboard photographer was in the house for night 1, and below, you can find the best photos from Tuesday’s (Sept. 23) show — including pics of opening act Ravyn Lenae, whose breakthrough hit “Love Me Not” is still in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, so far peaking at No. 5.
