Sean Kingston and Mother Ordered to Pay $38K Restitution After Fraud Convictions

Rapper Sean Kingston and his mother, Janice Eleanor Turner, have been ordered by a federal judge to pay $38,500 in restitution to a victim identified only as “B.C.”, following convictions tied to a fraud scheme.

As previously reported, Kingston has begun serving a three-and-a-half-year prison term for his role in the scheme, while Turner has been sentenced to five years behind bars.

According to prosecutors, between April 2023 and March 2024, the duo acquired luxury goods by promising social-media promotion, then sent fake wire-transfer receipts when payments were due. In many cases, no real funds were ever transferred, leaving victims unpaid.

Shaun Alexander is growing his family with his wife! The former NFL player announced that they’re expecting their 14th child overall now. While he didn’t share any other details about their future baby, Shaun was more than happy to reveal the news, and those who aren’t familiar with his story were curious to learn more about his spouse.

Below, learn all about Shaun’s children and wife of two decades.

Shaun Alexander’s Net Worth: How Much Money He Has

Shaun has a net worth of $12 million as of 2025, according to Celebrity Net Worth. The former football star made his fortune through his nearly decade-long NFL career.

The Kentucky native started his career at the University of Alabama, where he set multiple rushing records and established himself as one of the school’s program’s most prolific offensive players for the Crimson Tide. Shaun’s collegiate success led to his selection in the first round of the 2000 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks.

Upon starting with Seattle, Shaun quickly became the star of the Seahawks’ offense, becoming one of the league’s most reliable backs. From 2001 through 2005, Shaun rushed for over 1,100 yards for five straight seasons. His breakout year came in 2005, though, when he led the NFL in rushing yards with 1,880. During that season, Shaun earned NFL MVP honors, becoming the first Seahawk to win the award. He helped Seattle reach its first Super Bowl appearance in franchise history.

Shaun finished his triumphant career with 100 rushing touchdowns, ranking among the all-time leaders at the time of his retirement.

Who Is Shaun Alexander’s Wife?

Shaun has been married to his wife, Valerie Boyd, since April 2002. She has supported her husband throughout his career and after his retirement.

How Many Kids Does Shaun Alexander Have With Wife Valerie?

Shaun and Valerie are about to welcome their 14th child altogether. They currently share 12 children. The couple’s 13th child, Torah, unexpectedly died at just two months old in her sleep.

In September 2025, Shaun announced Valerie’s 14th pregnancy on the “Up & Adams Show with Kay Adams.”

“We’re just now starting to tell people, but number 14 is in the belly,” Shaun said.

Dwayne Johnson is one of the most recognizable stars in the world, with a career spanning pro wrestling, blockbuster action films, and even producing. From his breakout role in The Scorpion King in 2002 to family favorites like Tooth Fairy and massive hits such as Red Notice and Jungle Cruise, The Rock has built an empire in Hollywood. But beyond the fame and success, much of his happiness comes from his marriage to Lauren Hashian, the mother of his two youngest daughters, Jasmine and Tiana.

Here’s everything to know about Lauren, her career, and her life with Dwayne Johnson.

Lauren Grew Up in Massachusetts

Lauren was born and raised in Lynnfield, Massachusetts. She later attended Emerson College in Boston, where she studied public relations and communications.

Lauren Is a Singer and Songwriter

Lauren was born into the music industry—her father, the late Sib Hashian, was the drummer for the classic rock band Boston. Sib passed away unexpectedly in 2017 while performing on a cruise ship, leaving behind a legacy that deeply influenced Lauren and even touched Dwayne, who referred to him as his “second dad.”

“Rest in Peace & Love to my second dad Sib Hashian,” Dwayne wrote on Instagram on March 23, 2017. “What a full and exciting life this man lived. What an amazing family he created, loved, watched over and protected. Being on stage, in front of adoring fans, friends and family. Keeping the beat one last time.”

Following in her father’s footsteps, Lauren built a career as a singer and songwriter. She competed on the 2005 UPN reality show R U the Girl?, where contestants vied for the chance to perform with TLC, and she later released singles of her own, including “Ride the Wave” and “Samson.” Reflecting on her father’s impact in a 2021 interview with Billboard, Lauren explained how music became her purpose.

“Seeing him practice every day, for me, it became part of my purpose — ‘He practices every day, I should practice every day, too.’ And so I have been practicing on my own in my room for years.”

She Met The Rock in 2006

Lauren met Dwayne in 2006 while he was filming The Game Plan in Boston. The two quietly began dating after his split from ex-wife Dany Garcia and have been together ever since.

“I’ve lived with my longtime girlfriend, Lauren Hashian, going on, like, eight, nine years now. She’s a singer-songwriter. We spend a lot of time with my daughter in Florida, Simone, who’s 13,” Johnson told Esquire at the time.

She Married Dwayne in 2019

After meeting in 2006, the pair began dating the following year after Dwayne announced his separation from his first wife, Dany. They made their red-carpet debut in 2013, welcomed kids, and tied the knot on August 18, 2019, in an intimate ceremony in Hawaii.

“Seeing our wedding moments will always fill my cup with the purest gratitude and emotion…” Lauren wrote via Instagram on their first anniversary in August 2020, alongside a breathtaking wedding video. “Thank you for everything you are and everything you do MH! Happy Anniversary 🙂 I love YOU!!!”

She and Dwayne Have Two Daughters

Lauren became a proud “girl mom” before marrying Dwayne, welcoming daughter Jasmine Lia Johnson on December 16, 2015, and daughter Tiana Gia Johnson on April 17, 2018. She is also stepmom to Dwayne’s eldest, Simone Alexandra Johnson, from his first marriage.

Lauren finds fulfillment in motherhood, and has taken to social media on National Daughters Day to share her love for them. “Love. Happiness. Purpose,” she wrote in a Sept. 26, 2020 Instagram post, alongside a photo of Jasmine and Tiana. “My world and future #NationalDaughtersDay the whole reasons.”

Mandy Moore says portraying matriarch Rebecca Pearson on This Is Us gave her unexpected preparation for becoming a mother in real life.

Mandy Moore says portraying matriarch Rebecca Pearson on This Is Us gave her unexpected preparation for becoming a mother in real life

The actress, 41, has three children with her husband Taylor Goldsmith – sons August ‘Gus’ Harrison, born in 2021, and Oscar ‘Ozzie‘ Bennett, born a year later, as well as daughter Louise ‘Lou’ Everett, who arrived in 2023.

Mandy has now told People about life imitating art on This Is Us: “The overwhelming takeaway (from the show) is just being a parent now.

“Watching the show through that lens is really fascinating for me and for (co-star) Chris (Sullivan), because we both were parents towards the very end of the show.”

Reflecting on her early years filming the NBC series, she added: “Looking back on those earlier seasons, I think, ‘How the heck did I know what I was doing?’ I didn’t know how to change a diaper, I didn’t know what was going on. It’s pretty funny to think back to those early days.”

Mandy, who has partnered with Beyfortus, a treatment used to prevent RSV infections in babies and young children, starred in This Is Us from September 2016 until May 2022 and followed the lives of the Pearson family over several decades.

Mandy played Rebecca Pearson, who with her husband Jack, portrayed by Milo Ventimiglia, raised three children.

The ensemble cast also included Chrissy Metz, Sterling K. Brown, Justin Hartley and Susan Kelechi Watson.

The drama series was nominated for 39 Emmy Awards and won four, including the Television Academy Honors in 2017.

Since its conclusion, Mandy, Sterling and Chris have launched That Was Us, a rewatch podcast revisiting episodes of the series.

Mandy told People the project had jogged memories of storylines she had forgotten.

She said: “I think we’re discovering we have a real blind spot for a couple of seasons, where it wasn’t the beginning of the show, and it wasn’t the end.

“So things are a little hazy, and it’s pretty revelatory when we watch these episodes again. Like, ‘Oh wow, I totally forgot about that’.”

Divya Khossla SLAMS Kylie Jenner, Bollywood Stars Over Fillers; Says, “My Mother Didn’t Even Let Me Bleach My Face”

Many actors face pressure to maintain a youthful appearance, which leads to heavy social media criticism. While some, like Rajkummar Rao and Khushi Kapoor, have admitted to using such treatments, actress Divya Khossla has strongly voiced her disapproval of cosmetic enhancements.

Divya Khossla SLAMS Botox Trend

Divya said that many people who go through these treatments end up looking very similar. Speaking to News 18, she said, “You can tell which doctor someone has gone to just by looking at their face.”

Divya shared that she prefers natural beauty and credits her upbringing and mother for that belief. “I never felt the need to follow beauty trends. I’ve never used fillers or Botox. My mother didn’t even let me bleach my face,” she revealed.

She also criticized young celebrities like Kylie Jenner, saying that using cosmetic treatments at a young age can make people look older. “Kylie started very young and now looks older than her age. It’s better to let ourselves age naturally, we might even look better as we grow,” she said.

Divya added that she avoids editing her photos with AI and prefers keeping some imperfections. “I hate it when my pictures are overly touched up. Some edits don’t even look like me,” she admitted. Despite facing criticism about her round face, Divya says she’s confident in how she looks. “I don’t fit the usual beauty standards, and I’m okay with that. I’m not obsessed with mirrors or make-up. What really matters is inner beauty,” she concluded.

On the work front, Divya was latest seen in Ek Chatur Naar brings together Divya Khossla and Neil Nitin Mukesh for the first time in a story revolving around a woman who is sharp with her wit and tries to outsmart everyone around her. Promising a complete rollercoaster of laughter and drama, Ek Chatur Naar lands in theatres on 12th September.

‘She Converted To Islam, Her Name Was Ayesha’, Revealed Soha Ali Khan About Her Mother Sharmila Tagore

by jummy84 September 12, 2025
written by jummy84

Bollywood actress Soha Ali Khan recently shared fascinating insights about her mother, Sharmila Tagore’s remarkable life, highlighting how she has always lived on her own terms. Speaking to one of the media houses, Soha described Sharmila as a trailblazer who entered Bollywood at a time when acting was not considered respectable for women from well-known families. Defying social norms of the 1960s, Sharmila made headlines by wearing a bikini on-screen, something almost unheard of in that era, and later married for love despite family reservations.

Sharmila Tagore

Let us tell you that Sharmila fell in love with legendary cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, who came from a different religion. Before their marriage in 1968, she converted to Islam and adopted the name Ayesha. Soha revealed, “She converted, and her name is Ayesha. It was confusing at times because sometimes she would write Ayesha and sometimes Sharmila. But professionally she remained Sharmila Tagore, and that’s how the world knows her, though she is also Ayesha.”

Soha Ali Khan

Talking about her interfaith marriage on Simi Garewal’s talk show, Sharmila explained, “It was neither easy nor very difficult. It was important to face and understand it. You couldn’t be too casual. Earlier, I wasn’t very religious. Now, I feel I know more about both Hinduism and Islam.” Mansoor, fondly known as Tiger Pataudi, revealed that he was the one who suggested the name Ayesha. Despite their families eventually supporting the union, society at the time was less accepting.

Sharmila Tagore

In an old interview with Barkha Dutt, Sharmila recalled receiving threatening telegrams before the wedding, warning that “bullets would be fired.” Both families were anxious, but the wedding and reception went ahead peacefully. Let us tell you that Sharmila and Mansoor’s marriage became one of India’s most iconic love stories. They had three children, Saif Ali Khan, Soha Ali Khan, and Saba Pataudi. Mansoor passed away in 2011, leaving behind a rich royal legacy now inherited by Saif. Like their parents, both Saif and Soha also chose partners from different faiths.

Neelima Azeem is one of the prominent names in the world of Indian Kathak. She is also known for notable films including Ishq Visk, Sadak, and Itihaas, among others. Neelima Azeem married actor Pankaj Kapur in 1979 and parted ways three years after the birth of their son, Shahid Kapoor. Let’s revisit the time when Neelima revealed how divorce with Pankaj affected her. Read on to know more.

Neelima Azeem On Divorce With Pankaj Kapur

In a conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Neelima Azeem opened up on being a single mother and broken marriage with Pankaj Kapur. She shared, “It was the first time when I actually experienced grief, sorrow, rejection, anxiety, pain, and fear of the unknown. And a whole lot of insecurity. And also claustrophobic that I have to stay with my parents now and raise the child on my own, and how am I going to be moving towards being an independent girl that I always wanted to be and in many ways was?”

Neelima Azeem’s Debut As A Kathak Dancer

“Of course it did hit me. Because you know I was, in my own opinion, God’s favourite child. Because I got everything so beautifully, at the age of 15 I debuted as a Kathak exponent, and there was no looking back. Then I became the highest in-demand dancer, and everything was so wonderful. Then I had this wonderful friend who I got married to. Everything was just so beautiful. My parents were wonderful. I had a great crowd around me. Toh mujhe nahi pata tha zindagi mein aisa bhi hota hai jismein paun fisal jaaye aur aap gir jaaye,” she added

Neelima Azeem Needed That Bump

Neelima concluded, “Aur rejection ka toh koi sawal hi nahi hai because everybody used to love me and follow me around. Everything was hunky-dory before divorce happened. This was the first time when I actually slipped and fell on my face, so to say. But I don’t see it as a terrible thing that happened to me in life. I just simply think that I needed that bump. We all must understand that we are not extraordinary or entitled. We are simply human beings who can be rejected. And it took me about a year and a half to put myself together.”

More About Neelima Azeem

After parting ways with Pankaj Kapur, Neelima Azeem then married actor Rajesh Khattar. They together have a son, Ishaan Khattar, a popular actor in Bollywood. However, Neelima and Rajesh also parted ways in 2001. She then tied the knot with Raza Ali Khan, which also did not work, and they parted ways in 2009.
