A war of words has erupted on social media between influencer Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry, and Bigg Boss fame Rajiv Adatia. It began when Orry mocked Rajiv in the comments section of one of his posts, prompting Rajiv to hit back by saying that Orry has gained fame by placing his hand on people’s chests and taking photos.

It all started when Rajiv accused Orry of disrespecting late legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar, and singer Falguni Pathak in one of his reels.

Later, Orry took to the comments section on one of Rajiv’s posts and wrote, “Why does this man look like he ate 5 Orrys and poured a bottle of cheap foundation and fake tan on his face?”

Rajiv took to his Instagram Stories to hit back at Orry. He wrote, “Didn’t want to reply to this idiot, but thinks he needs a reality check! Firstly, Orry, I feel sorry for you! What have you achieved in life other than to put your hand on people’s chests and take photos? Do you know the definition of working hard because you won the award for talking s**t.”

“You are not even the mentally League of Many! You think you and hip and call with your phone cases and shaven chest! My dear, integrity, morals, values, and character make you a human! All which you don’t have! Stop giving yourself so much importance, my dear! Never utter a legend’s name, dude! Instead of apologising, you are attacking me for calling you out! No, please go and take some more pics with your Minions! Grow up and start acting your age! (by the way, the foundation is Charlotte Tillbury),” He added.

Rajiv also shared the note on his Instagram handle, with caption that read, “Didn’t want to reply this fool! But he needs a reality check!! Sorry for the gramatical errors I was jogging and wrote this.”

What do we know about the feud

The stir broke out after Orry attended Falguni Pathak’s live show and referred to her as “Falguni peacock singing on stage.” He also misnamed legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar as “Lata Mangeshwari,” calling her the “queen of Garba” on social media.

Later, Rajiv took to social media to express his disappointment, saying, “Some things are just not funny! There is a fine line of being funny and disrespecting the legends of our Country!! Lataji was like family to me and I didn’t find it funny! Not one bit!! People and kids see social media! How we portray ourselves is extremely important! Be mindful!”

“This should not be a green light that anyone from anywhere can come and insult and say whatever they want because they think it’s funny! @falgunipathak12 we love you Ma’am I apologise to you for the immaturity shown by certain individuals! You and Lata Di are people we look upto with grace and love,” he added. Falguni Pathak also acknowledged Rajiv’s post, writing “Thank you” in the comment section.

The Practical Magic and Moulin Rouge! star posted a series of images on Instagram on Tuesday (0.10.25), showing her attending the Chanel presentation alongside filmmaker Baz Luhrmann and French singer Vanessa Paradis.

Nicole, who is an ambassador for the brand, appeared relaxed in a white button-up shirt and jeans, debuting a new haircut she described as part of her “breakup bang” era.

She captioned the photos: “Thank you @chanelofficial for having me and my girls (red heart emoji.)

According to court documents obtained by Page Six, she cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split. Nicole has requested to be the “primary residential parent” of the couple’s two daughters.

Insiders told Page Six the Babygirl star had tried to salvage the marriage but is now focused on moving forward.

A source said: “She was sad, but moving on.

“Sometimes relationships just run their course.”

Reports from TMZ claimed Nicole and Keith had been living separately in Nashville since early summer.

Keith, currently in the middle of his High and Alive World Tour, appeared without his wedding ring during a public appearance last week.

The country singer, known for hits including Fighter, was photographed en route to his concert at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania, where he paid tribute to Nicole and their daughters with a series of on-stage images.

He and Nicole married in 2006 and have long split their time between the United States and Australia.

Their separation was finalised on 30 September, with both parties said to be focused on co-parenting their children while continuing their professional commitments.

ICE Reveals Immigrations Plans Ahead Of Super Bowl LX

ICE will have a strong presence outside Super Bowl LX in February 2026, where Bad Bunny will headline the halftime show in Santa Clara, California. During a podcast interview with Benny Johnson, Donald Trump’s advisor, Corey Lewandowski, emphasized that ICE will stop at nothing to deport people living in the U.S. illegally. “There is nowhere that you can provide safe haven to people in this country illegally. Not the Super Bowl and nowhere else,” Lewandowski explained.

Furthermore, Corey Lewandowski said Trump issued the directive himself, mentioning that his goal is to always keep Americans safe.

“We’re going to do enforcement everywhere. We are going to make Americans safe. That is a directive from the president. If you’re in this country illegally, do your a favor: Go home,” Lewandowski continued.

Social Media Built the Stage For Artists, but Now It’s Pulling the Plug

Today’s live music industry is at an inflection point. Global acts that once sold out stadiums in mere seconds, like Beyoncé and Katy Perry, seem to be facing unexpected ticket sales challenges, such as sluggish demand. Beloved bands like the All-American Rejects are opting to play backyard gigs in the heart of their communities rather than traditional venues. 

These artists are most definitely not in decline, as they’re all cultural icons with both global recognition and massive online audiences. So how is it that in an era of constant visibility, even the biggest names in music are finding it harder than ever to fill seats?

The disconnect has nothing to do with demand. It’s about how artists reach their fans and how the platforms they rely on have quietly reshaped the artist-fan relationship. Visibility has never been higher, but connection has never felt thinner. 

Today’s musicians are relying on borrowed platforms that weren’t designed for them. The result is a system that strips them of control, weakens fan relationships, and leaves potential revenue on the table. It’s time to rethink the artist-fan relationship, and not as a content stream but as a community. And it should be one that acts can truly own.

The Broken Feedback Loop of Social Media

Social media was sold as the great equalizer. Post the right thing and you could blow up overnight. In practice, it’s created a race to the bottom where the loudest win and the most original often burn out.

These platforms reward trend-chasing over creativity and consistency. Even the biggest creators have no access to their own fan data. They can’t email them, text them, or reach them on demand. And when something actually matters, like selling a tour or moving merchandise, there’s no guarantee the algorithm will come through and surface your posts.

For the artists, this is beyond frustrating. It proves it’s a broken system. Social media has turned fans into followers and followers into passive metrics. Now compare that to the early internet with fan clubs, forums, and mailing lists—genuine communities where fans felt seen and where artists built loyalty that lasted longer than any feed refresh..

Rented Land, Vanishing Control

Artists are running their careers on infrastructure they don’t own. This means artists have surrendered control of their most valuable asset—their fan relationships. Fan data is split across ticketing platforms, streaming services, merch shops, and many more channels, none of which are shared or connected. That would be like a restaurant chain where each location uses a different system and none of them know if the same customer has visited before.

No successful direct-to-consumer brand would do that. So why would an artist?

Some artists are already making the shift. From Latin America to the U.S., they’re using new tools, like the one we’re building at Sesh and platforms like Discord that let them communicate directly with fans. No app download. No algorithm interference. Just a real channel they control. Social media will never go away, but it will stop being the foundation. It becomes the flyer, not the venue.

The Superfan Economy Is Already Here

Goldman Sachs estimates the superfan economy will be worth more than $4.3 billion in the next few years. These are the fans who want more than the music. They want access. They want to participate. And they’re willing to pay for it.

Musicians who know who their top fans are and know how to actually reach them will win in the long run. Those who don’t will be left shouting into the void. Direct-to-fan tools are no longer optional. They’re the difference between surviving and thriving. Artists using these platforms are already building vibrant communities with nothing more than a phone number and a clear vision.

The real value isn’t just financial—it’s creative autonomy. When you’re not dependent on algorithms, you can create what matters to you instead of chasing whatever the platform rewards this month. You can experiment and know your fans will show up regardless.

The message is simple: Stop renting your fans. True freedom means owning your audience.

The acts that will thrive in this next decade won’t be the ones with the most followers. They’ll be the ones who build the deepest, strongest fan relationships. 

The tools are here. The shift is already happening. It’s just a matter of choosing to own it.

Per USA Today, the date marked the city’s annual Tina Turner Heritage Days celebration. Furthermore, the statue is reportedly ten feet tall and shows Turner rocking her signature voluminous, bumped hair, a dress with a microphone in hand. Per the outlet, sculptor Fred Ajanogha noted that he wanted to capture Turner’s “flexibility of movement on stage” and her “mane of a lion” hair

More On Tina Turner & Her Passing In 2023

As The Shade Room previously reported, Tina Turner passed away in her Switzerland home on May 24, 20203. Furthermore, she was 83 years old, and her spokesperson broke the news to the public.

“Tina Turner, the ‘Queen of Rock’n Roll,’ has died peacefully today at the age of 83 after a long illness in her home in Kusnacht near Zurich, Switzerland. With her, the world loses a music legend and a role model,” they reportedly stated.

Furthermore, Tina Turner’s passing sparked a wave of reactions from celebrities such as Beyoncé, Alicia Keys, Ciara, and others, who each paid tribute to her life and career. Per USA Today, Turner sold 100 million units worldwide, with five platinum albums, a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction, and other accolades under her belt.

Lyrical Media New CEO: Jonathan Faust

Lyrical Media has brought on The North Road Company exec Jonathan Faust as its new chief financial officer.

In his position, Faust will oversee Lyrical’s financing workflow across film, television, video games, animation, graphic novels and venture investing. Per Lyrical, Faust “will play a key role in evaluating and sourcing new opportunities, building out new strategic verticals, supporting Lyrical’s financial planning and operations, and managing ongoing projects and investments in conjunction with the company’s leadership.”

Most recently, Faust served as vice president of business development and operations at Peter Chernin’s The North Road Company, where he co-led growth initiatives and strategic planning across the company’s portfolio. Prior to that role, Faust was director of financial planning and analysis at North Road. Faust has previously held executive role at Words + Pictures and Skydance Media.

Founded by CEO Alexander Black in 2021, Lyrical Media’s upcoming slate of films and TV series includes Adam Wingard’s “Onslaught” and Michael Sarnoski’s “The Death of Robin Hood” starring Hugh Jackman, Jodie Comer, and Bill Skarsgård, both of which will be distributed by A24, and Neon co-production “The Young People,” directed by Osgood Perkins and starring Lola Tung and Nico Parker, as well as adaptations of Emily Henry’s “Funny Story,” Brynne Weaver’s “Butcher & Blackbird,” and Lauren Roberts’ “Powerless.”

In addition to its robust film and TV slate, Lyrical Media recently launched Lyrical Games, a new privately funded game publisher with a commitment to empowering creators of high-quality indie games.
