‘It Is Wrong To Held Sportsperson Responsible’, Suniel Shetty On Ongoing India Vs Pakistan Match Controversy

written by jummy84

The Asia Cup 2025 has officially begun, and one of its most awaited matches, India versus Pakistan began on September 14. Traditionally, an India-Pakistan game is nothing less than a high-voltage cricketing spectacle, where every run, wicket, and moment grips millions of fans across the globe. However, this time, the atmosphere is overshadowed by political and emotional sentiments following recent terror attacks.

Suniel Shetty

Earlier this year, India witnessed two major tragedies: the Pulwama attack and the Pahalgam terror strike in April. The incidents left the nation enraged, and even after India’s retaliatory Operation Sindoor, the wounds remain fresh. Against this backdrop, a section of people on social media have demanded a boycott of the high-profile match, arguing that cricketing ties with Pakistan should not continue under such circumstances. Bollywood celebrities have also weighed in.

Raveena Tandon

Actress Raveena Tandon shared her thoughts on X, writing, “Okay, the match has started. I hope our team will play wearing a black band and will kneel before victory.” Her post reflected the emotions of many who believe the match should symbolize solidarity with the martyrs. Veteran actor Suniel Shetty, however, offered a balanced perspective. Speaking to the media, he said that while individuals are free to have their opinions about the India-Pakistan clash, it is unfair to hold the players or sporting bodies responsible.

Suniel Shetty

He emphasized that such tournaments are organized by international federations involving multiple nations and athletes, and the rules of the game must be respected. According to him, the players’ role is to represent their country with pride, and they should not be blamed for political situations beyond their control. Shetty further clarified that choosing to watch or skip the match should be a personal decision, not a collective compulsion. He urged fans to avoid spreading negativity and to uphold the spirit of sportsmanship.

As the Asia Cup 2025 approaches, actor Zayed Khan backs Team India, expressing confidence in their new players.

As the cricketing world braces for one of the most anticipated matches of the year, India vs Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2025, actor Zayed Khan has thrown his full support behind Team India. He has voiced his confidence in the new generation of players amid heightened tensions between the two countries following Operation Sindoor.

Zayed Khan supports the India Vs Pakistan match during the Asia Cup 2025 despite political tensions and believes in Suryakumar Yadav’s captaincy.

Zayed Khan backs India Vs Pak match

Talking to news agency ANI, Zayed said, “I think India will knock it out of the park. I think India is a very good team aur mujhe lagta hai ki 100 per cent India jeetne waali hai (I think India is going to win 100 per cent).”

When asked if the match should be played despite the political tensions between the two countries, he said, “Kyu nahi yar, sports to sports hai, jo bhi sambandh bante hai ban ne do (Why not? Sport is sport. Whatever relations can be made, let them be made).”

He also fully believed in Surya Kumar Yadav’s captaincy for the Asia Cup and said, “SKY is such a good batsman. He also has experience in IPL. He can be a good captain. The new generation should also take responsibility. Let them take it.”

India at the Asia Cup

India, under the leadership of Suryakumar Yadav, kicked off their Asia Cup campaign with a commanding nine-wicket victory over the United Arab Emirates in Dubai. After dismissing the UAE for a mere 57 runs in just 13.1 overs, the defending champions comfortably chased down the target.

The much-anticipated India vs Pakistan clash is set for 8 pm IST on Sunday at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. This match marks Suryakumar Yadav’s first time captaining India against their fierce rivals. Depending on how the tournament unfolds, the two teams could face each other up to three times, including a potential final showdown.

Meanwhile, Zayed is gearing up to make his digital debut with the upcoming project, The Film That Never Was.

Press Information Bureau (PIB) has issued a fact-check on their social media account to clarify that Abir Gulaal will not release in India.

Pakistani actor Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor’s upcoming film Abir Gulaal had hit a roadblock following the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22. The romantic drama was set to make its debut in Indian cinemas on May 9, but was not released. In the last few days, there were several reports which claimed that Abir Gulaal was set to be released in India on September 26. Following the Pahalgam terror attack on Tuesday, April 22, many calls were raised to stop the release of the film Abir Gulaal in India. They called for a complete non-cooperation with all Pakistani artists, singers, and technicians within the Indian film and entertainment industry. Wives Get Electric Shocks After Husbands Failed At Answering ‘5 Types of Dance In India’ In Pati Patni Aur Panga

by jummy84 September 12, 2025
written by jummy84

The latest episode of the reality show “Pati Patni Aur Panga” is another dose of laughter and drama with a hilarious new challenge. In the recently released promo, the wives are made to stand on an electric table, while their husbands must answer quiz questions to keep them safe from getting a shock, and only correct answers can save the wives, adding pressure and fun to the game.

Pati Patni Aur Panga

The promo begins with host of the show Munawar Faruqui asking the first question: “Name five types of dance in India.” Rocky Jaiswal jumps in with, “Bharatnatyam, Kathak, Kuchipudi, Udupi,” but Munawar quickly interrupts, joking that Udupi is a restaurant, not a dance form. Rocky fails to give the remaining answers in time, and as a result, Hina Khan receives a playful electric shock.

Pati Patni Aur Panga

Then Abhinav Shukla tries his luck but stumbles when housemates point out that Bhangra and Gidda are essentially the same dance form. His mistake causes his wife, Rubina Dilaik, to get shocked as well. Comedian Sudesh Lahiri gives the answer “Bhangra, Kathak, Salsa,” but since Salsa is not an Indian dance, his wife, Mamta Lahiri, also faces the jolt. The fun continues as Gurmeet Choudhary takes the challenge. Instead of giving different names, he repeatedly says “Kathak, Kathak” while dancing to the rhythm, making everyone burst into laughter.

Pati Patni Aur Panga

Unfortunately, his funny approach can’t save Debina Bonnerjee from the electric shock. Wrestler Pawan Kumar then gives perhaps the funniest reply of the day, answering simply with the word “dhool,” leaving the entire set in splits. Since its premiere, Pati Patni Aur Panga has quickly climbed the TRP charts, thanks to its unique concept and light-hearted games. Let us tell you that the show brings together some of television’s most popular celebrity couples, including Hina Khan, Rocky Jaiswal, Rubina Dilaik, Abhinav Shukla, Avika Gor, Milind Chandwani, Debina Bonnerjee, Gurmeet Choudhary, etc.

Mala Sekhri on creating a home for music, restoring its etiquette at India Music Retreat in Jaipur

Mala Sekhri on creating a home for music, restoring its etiquette at India Music Retreat in Jaipur

by jummy84 September 2, 2025
written by jummy84

Like everything else, the sanctity of music, too, is diluted. Artists think nothing of singing Raag Bhairav, a morning raga, at night or Megh Malhar during the full moon—a painful reality but one that has become a norm. For the uninitiated, Megh Malhar is a monsoon raga, so to speak.

India Music Retreat in Jaipur will see performances from various artistes across the country.

Raga shuffling apart, even music etiquette has been thrown to the winds. Aficionados rue the sparse attention span of those who listen less and understand little but must be seen at all events, which could help get them a Page 3 slot. These are the same people who think nothing of walking in and out in the middle of a concert and sometimes applaud even at the wrong time.

Correcting music etiquette

Among the many who decided to correct this is Mala Sekhri, Founder of MuseMusic: “In the current fast-forward culture, music is experienced in fragments: shortened slots in crowded auditoriums, distracted audiences, and commercial packaging. This has taken away from what music was meant to be for true listeners.”

The next thing Sekhri did was to restore what she terms as “subtlety of the baithak” and create the right “mahaul and an atmosphere of discovery and reverence”, under the auspices of The India Music Retreat.

Sekhri says it was more conviction than being commercially driven: “It is to restore the dignity of the performers and performance and through this build a sustainable meeting ground annually: in other words, create a home for music,” says Sekhri.

Upcoming retreat in Jaipur

Come September, and the city of Jaipur will perhaps have a soul-change, so to speak: “The decision to host the retreat in Jaipur was deliberate. Accessibility apart, it has spaces crafted for an ethereal listening experience and one that transports you away from this world, which is rushed and hustling. Music here resonates naturally,” Sekhri says.

This year’s festival, scheduled for mid-September, has an impressive line-up: Ustad Shujaat Khan, Wassifuddin Dagar, Jasbir Jassi and American Saxophonist George Brooks: an amalgam of dhrupad, thumri, ghazal, folk and much more.

Some of the other high points of the much-awaited festival are artistes reliving their music memories, Brunch with pianist Brian Silas, and tributes to accompanists, including table and tanpura players, among others.

Sekhri comes with a rich experience of hosting similar events in the past: “ a never-done-before experience”, as Sekhri says. Dariya Kinare, on the banks of the Hooghly River in Kolkata, was memorable as was the one in Varanasi or Sur Mahal in Patiala in Punjab, among others. Given their success and the mesmerising experience, the forthcoming one in Jaipur is sure to make the cut: “Fingers crossed”, says Sekhri as she embarks on yet another edition of the journey of music and restoring its etiquette and “mahaul”, so to speak

EXCLUSIVE: Naveen Kasturia REACTS To Censorship, Banning Of Artists, Music In India

by jummy84 August 29, 2025
written by jummy84

Naveen Kasturia is an actor who began his journey as an assistant director in Bollywood. He gained fame with his web series TVF Pitchers and Aspirants. He was last seen in Salakar. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Naveen Kasturia breaks the silence on today’s censorship and banning of music and artists. He points out that people don’t lack civic sense, but they are bound by rules. The actor recalls being trolled for his tweet on Mumbai roads during the rains. Scroll down to read more.

Naveen Kasturia REACTS To Censorship, Banning Of Artists, Music

When asked if censorship and banning of music, artists bother him, Naveen Kasturia said, “Artist wali baat toh pata nahi, but as a citizen bohot bother karti hai yaar. Jaise abhi main bahar bhi jab jaata hoon, toh mujhe baar-baar aisa lagta hai ki kitna potential hai is desh mein, you know, chhoti-chhoti baatein. Abhi jaise main South Bombay hokar aaya tha, jo main aapko bata raha tha, kitna sundar hai yaar! Matlab Nariman Point ka area, chodi-chodi sadkein, footpath, toh aisa nahi hai ki civic sense nahi hai. Toh agar wahi rules and regulations sab jagah implement kiye jaayein; toh phir aisa kyon hai ki baaki jagah dustbins hote hai aur wahan sab clean hai, walking area hai?”

He added, “Toh possible toh hai! Aisa nahi hai ki hum nasal mein hi gadbad hain. Mujhe lagta hai ki problem system ki hai. Yehi cheez bohot tang karti hai. Samajhdaar log toh bohot saare hain Hindustan mein, lekin woh bahar jaake prosper karte hain. Kahin na kahin hum woh facilities unko nahi de paate. Matlab yahan pe sachchai se kaam karne ke liye logon ko zyada joojhna padta hai. Toh ya toh top pe woh log baithe hain jo shayad sahi tareeke se pahunche nahi hain. Aur jo sahi log hain, woh upar pahunch nahi paate. Yehi cheez bohot bother karti hai.”

Naveen Kasturia On How Mumbai Roads Irritate Him

When asked about what he was trolled the most for till date, Naveen Kasturia shared it was when Mumbai roads were a disaster. He explained, “Main bohot irritate hota tha ki yaar yeh kya hai? Matlab it’s the best city, I mean, it’s apparently the financial capital of this country. Itne bade-bade log rehte hain yahaan, itna tax collect hota hai. Toh kyun hum thoda aesthetically kaam nahi karte? You know? Aur bahar toh saalon se acche systems bane hue hain. Matlab corruption sab jagah hai, corruption sab jagah hai. Lekin yahaan baith ke hum Trump ka mazaak udaate rehte hain. Jabki aap America jao toh lagta hai, ‘Yaar, hum toh abhi dhang se reh hi nahi rahe. Kai sheher acche hain India ke, Indore, Chandigarh ke baare mein sunta rehta hoon. But Bombay mein, jahan hum rehte hain, kaafi dirty hai yaar.’”

Naveen was last seen in Salakar.

Linkin Park to Perform in India for The First Time

by jummy84 August 28, 2025
written by jummy84

It’s official! Linkin Park is finally coming to India. After years of speculation, the American nu metal giants have confirmed their first-ever performance in the country. The historic show will take place on January 25, 2026, at Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Racecourse, with strong hints that it could be part of Lollapalooza India.
The confirmation arrived through a newsletter sent directly to fans, alongside the band’s From Zero World Tour poster. In his note, co-founder Mike Shinoda expressed excitement about performing for Indian fans at last. “India has been somewhere we’ve wanted to play for a long time. Our fans there are incredibly passionate and we can’t wait to finally bring our live show to them,” he wrote.

General ticket sales began today at noon, sparking a rush among fans eager to be part of history. Interestingly, the band’s official website had briefly listed the Mumbai date under their world tour schedule before quickly removing it. That move triggered weeks of speculation about their presence at Lollapalooza India 2026. While festival organisers and BookMyShow are yet to confirm, the band’s direct announcement has now ended the suspense.
The concert is part of Linkin Park’s major comeback tour. The group returned to the stage in 2024, seven years after the tragic passing of frontman Chester Bennington in 2017. This new chapter of the band features a refreshed lineup with Emily Armstrong on vocals, Colin Brittain on drums, and Alex Federer on live guitar, joining original members Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Joe Hahn, Dave Phoenix Farrell, and Rob Bourdon.

linkin park

For Indian fans, this performance is more than just a concert. Linkin Park’s albums Hybrid Theory and Meteora were soundtracks to the early 2000s for an entire generation. Songs like In the End, Numb, and Somewhere I Belong defined youth for millions across the country. Now, after more than two decades of waiting, fans will finally hear those anthems live on home soil.
As Linkin Park’s From Zero World Tour heads to Mumbai in January, Indian fans prepare for a night that blends nostalgia, healing, and fresh energy. For many, it won’t just be a concert, it will be a once-in-a-lifetime moment.

Episodes are streaming now on the official Mr India social channels and the Beauty Pageants YouTube channel.

About the winners:

Mr India World 2025 Shevam Singh: From the banks of the Ganges and carrying the pride of Patna, Shevam Singh comes from a humble middle-class family where values, discipline, and education were non-negotiable. Raised with a strong foundation of humility and hard work, he is determined, adaptable, and grounded. He believes that consistent effort is more powerful than raw talent, especially when talent lacks discipline.

Travel, fitness, public speaking and travelling have shaped his personality; he likes to explore different possibilities and make the most of it. Beyond the runway, Shevam is deeply passionate about social causes, particularly education accessibility for underprivileged children and animal welfare. One of his most memorable achievements was winning the Phoenix Best Runway Model title at the Prasad Bidapa Mega Model Hunt in 2019, a moment that marked the beginning of his journey in the world of fashion and modelling.

Mr India Supranational 2026 Abel Biju:

Kottayam’s grace, Kerala’s glory, Abel Biju is a banker by profession. Raised by his single mother, who instilled in him values of hard work, resilience, and compassion, Abel credits much of his success to her unwavering support and strength. Known for being kind, confident, and determined, he approaches every challenge as an opportunity to grow and improve.

Passionate about animal welfare, Abel works with rescue groups to provide care and raise awareness for neglected street animals. He believes a compassionate society starts with kindness toward the voiceless.
