Tom Holland And Zendaya’s Private Lives Under Siege? Couple Ups Security At London Home | Glamsham.com

Tom Holland and Zendaya are reportedly spending around £1,000 daily on security at their West London home. The couple, who co-star in the Spider-Man franchise, increased security after fans began showing up at their property, disrupting their privacy.

An insider told The Sun that fans started arriving unannounced, asking for selfies and autographs. While Tom and Zendaya love their fans, they also want to enjoy a normal life when not working. The new security measures aim to deter random visitors and protect their personal space.

Neighbours have noticed the heightened security presence. One neighbour shared, “It’s been like living next to a film set recently. As soon as Tom and Zendaya started filming the new Spider-Man, fans just kept turning up. Now they’ve got this burly security bloke outside. He’s friendly, but you wouldn’t want to mess with him.”

Tom and Zendaya publicly confirmed their relationship in 2021. Zendaya has spoken about feeling “extra safe” working with Tom. In Vanity Fair’s 2025 Hollywood Issue, she said, “It’s strangely comfortable… You feel extra safe with the person you’re acting beside. I love working with him.” She praised Tom’s dedication, saying he always gives “1,000 per cent” even when exhausted, and recalled that they met during a chemistry read.

Tom has also admitted to Googling Zendaya’s name out of concern for her well-being. On Samah Dada’s On The Menu podcast, he revealed, “I’m not on social media, and I delete it when I’m not using it. Sometimes it’s an anxiety thing, so I check to see if everything’s good… I just give her a little Google and look through the news, and I’m like, ‘She’s good.’”

Their efforts to maintain privacy show the challenges of balancing fame and personal life in the public eye.

How to Dye Hair at Home, According to Professional Colorists

by jummy84 September 26, 2025
written by jummy84

First of all, let’s get one thing straight: Dyeing your hair more than one or two shades lighter at home is risky business. “If you’re going for a dramatic hair transformation, it’s best to leave this to a professional,” says celebrity colorist Marie Robinson, who is famous for her impeccably beautiful platinum blondes. “Otherwise you risk seriously damaging your hair.”

However, if you’re already blonde and you want to go a little lighter, it can be achieved at home. (Brunettes and redheads, get thee to a salon!)

You’ll need:

Estimated time to complete:

Two and a half hours

Step 1

Before you do anything, follow the first three steps listed in the Allover Color section, above. Then, starting at the back of your head and working forward, apply the solution, keeping it one inch away from your roots. Massage the color in so every strand is covered.

Step 2

Let it sit for 20 to 30 minutes, but check the progress every five to 10. “Don’t be alarmed if you see a tinge of red; hair exposes in stages as it lightens,” says Robinson.

Step 3

After 30 minutes, apply the rest of the solution onto your roots, and wait for an additional 10 to 30 minutes, depending on how light you’re going.

Step 4

Rinse a strand above your ear and gently pull on it to make sure it doesn’t break. If it does, rinse your hair immediately and follow with a protein mask or bond repair product like Olaplex. If your hair still has a golden tint, leave the dye on for 10 more minutes, Robinson advises. If the color looks good, rinse with warm water, then shampoo your hair and condition.

Olaplex Hair Perfector No 3 Repairing Treatment

What to do if you hate your new hair color

Fret not: Here are some ideas for how to fix (or at least improve) every color mishap. The things you’ll need on hand: a clarifying shampoo, a conditioning mask, and a few pantry goods.

If your hair is too dark…

“Wash it immediately,” says celebrity colorist Jennifer J. If it’s far too dark, mix a tablespoon of baking soda (which acts as a mild detergent) with a clarifying shampoo and let the solution sit on wet hair for five minutes. Or apply olive oil to damp hair, wrap it all up in a shower cap, and place a hot towel over it. “The heat opens up the cuticle just enough to let a few dye molecules slip out,” she says; follow with your regular shampoo ASAP.

If it’s too light…

You’re going to have to add more dye. For hair that’s just a little too pale, choose the next shade darker than the one you started with, and apply it only on the areas you think are too faint, Jennifer recommends. Leave the color on for half the time indicated on the box, and keep checking to make sure it doesn’t go too far. If hair is way too light, see a pro.

If it’s brassy…

You’ll need to tone down your hair’s warm tint. If you used semipermanent dye, try a lavender-hue shampoo (like Clairol Professional Shimmer Lights Shampoo) for the next few days, says Robinson. If you went with a permanent formula, paint a shade that’s two tones darker just on the orangey spots. Next time, go for cooler tones with a blue base.

If it turned green from dyeing (or it was exposed to chlorine)…

Try washing the tint out with a clarifying shampoo or a deep treatment mask like Matrix Biolage HydraSource Deep Treatment Hair Mask right away. If that doesn’t do the trick, rinse hair with ketchup. The red counteracts the green, and the acidity helps neutralize the reaction. Then make sure to study up on how to protect your color before jumping into the pool.

David Lynch’s Los Angeles home on sale for $15 million

David Lynch’s Los Angeles home is on sale for $15 million.

David Lynch’s Los Angeles home is on sale for $15 million

The Twin Peaks director, who died in January 2025 at the age of 78 from cardiac arrest complicated by emphysema, used the Hollywood Hills compound as a base for much of his work, editing Mulholland Drive there, with one of its buildings featured prominently in his 1997 film Lost Highway.

The sale was reported by The Washington Post, which added the late director’s family is urging any buyer to preserve the property’s unique cinematic and architectural legacy.

Marc Silver, listing agent with the Agency Beverly Hills, said demand had been overwhelming.

He added: “Buyers have to be very well prequalified in order to actually have a showing at the property. “The family’s strong desire is that the next owner protects, preserves and honours what David created.”

David’s former compound covers 2.3 acres on Senalda Road and includes seven buildings with 10 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms, spanning more than 11,000 square feet.

At its heart is the Beverly Johnson House, designed in the 1960s by Lloyd Wright, son of Frank Lloyd Wright.

David purchased the house in 1987 and later acquired two neighbouring homes.

One was turned into offices for his company Asymmetrical Productions, while another housed his screening room and editing suite.

Richard Barney, professor of English at the University of Albany, visited the compound three times while interviewing David for a book.

He said: “As soon as you see it, you recognise it, remember it as being the house of the Madisons. It is not as spooky when you’re there as it was made to be in the movie.”

In 1991, David commissioned Eric Lloyd Wright, grandson of Frank Lloyd Wright, to design a pool and pool house.

Mr Silver said this was the only known property to carry contributions from three generations of the Wright family.

He added: “In the time that I’ve been selling real estate, this is probably one of the only properties, if not the only property, that really checks all of these boxes.

“You have the architectural pedigree with Lloyd Wright and Eric Lloyd Wright, but as well as the cultural and historical significance and the cinematic and Hollywood history of David Lynch.”

Mr Barney said despite its size, the compound retained an enigmatic quality.

He added: “It did have a feeling of a maze. There is a part of that he really loved to capture in movies but also in Twin Peaks, like the Black Lodge. Where were you?

“And if you walk down that hallway, had you really arrived anywhere or were you just going in circles?”

Filmfare Flashback: When Sharmila Tagore Took Home The Black Lady for Her Role in Aradhana

by jummy84 September 19, 2025
written by jummy84

As Filmfare nears its 70th edition, we take head back to 1970, to the 17th Filmfare Awards. On 11 May 1970, Bombay (now Mumbai) saw the stars of Hindi cinema gather to celebrate films from 1969. Among the biggest winners that night was Aradhana, a romantic drama directed by Shakti Samanta.
Aradhana was released on 7 November 1969 in Hindi. It starred Rajesh Khanna and Sharmila Tagore in lead roles. The story mixes romance, sacrifice, identity, and strong emotions. Vandana (Sharmila Tagore) falls in love with Arun (Rajesh Khanna), who is an Air Force pilot. After Arun’s death in a crash, Vandana must face stigma, raise her son against odds, even when forced to give him up. She then becomes his caretaker later in life without revealing she is his mother. Over time, the film shows her silent strength and love.
At the 17th Filmfare Awards, Aradhana led the nominations with 9 nods. It won Best Film, and Sharmila Tagore won her first (and only) Best Actress award for her role as Vandana. Meanwhile, Rajesh Khanna was nominated for Best Actor for Aradhana, but the award went to Ashok Kumar for Aashirwad.

Other highlights: Anokhi Raat won four Filmfare awards, including Best Screenplay and Best Dialogue. Aradhana also gained praise for its music: songs like Mere Sapno Ki Rani became iconic. The film quickly became a blockbuster, not just in India, but also in the Soviet Union. It marked the rise of Rajesh Khanna as a superstar, and it firmly established Sharmila Tagore’s status among leading actresses.

Looking back to the 17th Filmfare Awards, Aradhana remains a landmark, not just for awards, but for stories that touch the heart. As Filmfare returns with new celebrations, it’s worth remembering how films like Aradhana shaped the legacy, melding romance, strength, music, and unforgettable performances.

‘No Other Land’ Co-Director Basel Adra Says Home Raided by IDF

by jummy84 September 14, 2025
written by jummy84

Basel Adra, co-director of the 2025 Academy Award winner for Best Documentary Feature, “No Other Land,” has told the Associated Press that his home was raided by soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces September 13 following alleged settler violence in his West Bank village.

Giving an on-camera interview to the AP, Adra is clearly free and not currently being detained by Israeli forces as was feared by his co-director Yuval Abraham who tweeted his concern about the situation. “Happening now: Israeli army raiding the house of oscar winner Basel Adra after Israeli settlers attacked his village earlier and beat up his family member,” Abraham tweeted September 13. “Soldiers could try to abduct Basel into one of Israel’s prisons which are effectively torture sites.”

Medium shot of a man and woman riding together on a motorcycle; still from 'Saiyaara'

Adra was not abducted and remains free.

However, the concern that he might be detained by the IDF apparently influenced Adra’s decision not to return to his home yesterday. These incidents have occurred in the wake of co-director Hamdan Ballal being beaten up by Israeli settlers in the weeks after “No Other Land” won the Oscar in March. That resulted in controversy, with Abraham accusing the Academy of not publicly supporting Ballal, who indeed was not mentioned in their original statement supporting artistic freedom. The Academy ultimately apologized.

A similar situation seemed to be unfolding September 13. Adra told the AP, “Soldiers invade [his West Bank village] Al-Tuwani after settlers attacked us on agricultural land. They invaded my home here in the activist space and my home up where my wife and my nine month old daughter were alone. They were searching in the house, they took the phone of my wife. They prevented other family members like my sisters, like my father, to be with my wife in the home – they detained them in the street. Israel, I think, is trying to attack and to shut down any influencer or journalist who speaks up against the occupation. In Gaza we see they precisely killing journalists. I have many messages, one of them for the governments and world leaders to take serious actions to stop the genocide in Gaza, to stop the occupation, and to influence and implement the international law and force Israel, putting sanctions against it until they respect international law.”

Adra also claimed that his brother had been beaten up by settlers during the attack.

Paediatrician explains how parents can handle 7 common health emergencies at home: From nosebleeds to choking

by jummy84 September 13, 2025
written by jummy84

When there are young children at home, many emergencies can occur in the blink of an eye. They are energetic and sometimes land themselves in trouble, injuring themselves. You may feel confident about your first-aid knowledge, but knowing the correct steps and performing them safely makes a very big difference when it comes to immediate care during these urgent moments.

When kids are at home, health emergencies can happen out of the blue. (Freepik)

Dr Amin Kaba, consultant in paediatric medicine at Narayana Health SRCC Children’s Hospital, Mumbai, told HT Lifestyle that while one may have some basic information about first aid, it is often too “fragmented” to be of practical use during emergencies, especially if learned from just seeing or reading it somewhere.

He said, “Knowing basic first aid methods is important, but it’s more crucial to perform them correctly so as not to compromise the life you’re trying to save.”

First aid is important as the quick action during emergencies may mitigate risks of complications and even be life-saving. But a line needs to be drawn as well, between first aid and professional medical care. This is particularly true for serious injury or trauma.

The paediatrician added, “In case of serious injury/ trauma, the first-aid would be to call for help and let a professional guide you through what you need to do. But for minor and more common injuries, extensive research has been conducted on first-aid methods.”

For extensive knowledge about first aid, he suggested that parents can enrol in “first-aid workshops” so that they can get hands-on training and practice real-life scenarios.

Dr Amin Kaba shared with HT Lifestyle 7 common emergencies and how parents can handle them:

1. Nosebleed

When children suffer from nosebleeds, their heads shouldn’t be tilted back due to the risk of choking.(Shutterstock)
When children suffer from nosebleeds, their heads shouldn’t be tilted back due to the risk of choking.(Shutterstock)
  • Avoid: Tilting the head back can make the blood travel from the nose to the throat, which could put the child at risk of choking or swallowing blood.
  • Instead, try: Get the child to sit up and lean forward. Pinch the nose and ask the child to breathe through the mouth. Continue this for 10-15 minutes. Then place a cold compress on the bridge of the nose. Make sure the child doesn’t blow their nose immediately after bleeding stops.

2. Fainted

  • Avoid: When someone faints, our immediate course of action is to shake them and then try to get them to sit up when the shaking doesn’t help.
  • Instead, try: Start by checking the child’s breathing and pulse. Allowing them to lie down, place pillows or a small footstool under their feet and elevate both legs. Ensure good air circulation around them and loosen any tight clothing. If feet and hands are cold, rub them to warm them up.

3. Muscle strain/ bruises/ back pain

  • Ice should be used for acute situations, like sudden sprain of joints such as the ankle or bruising with swelling, or muscle strain, within the first 24 hours after an injury.
  • Heat is for chronic conditions, like back pain.

4. Thorn, glass or splinter injuries

  • If the tool you use isn’t sterile or if you underestimate how deep the wound is, there is a greater risk of infection at the site of the injury.
  • Whether your child has a thorn or a piece of wood or glass lodged in, sterilise the skin where the object is lodged, your hands and the pincers you may use to remove it.
  • If you are unable to remove or are unsure of removing it yourself, it is best to take your child to a healthcare facility.

5. Burn injuries

  • In case of burns, hold the site of the burn under cool water for at least 20 minutes.
  • Dab with a clean cloth, dust antiseptic powder or rub a little natural aloe vera (if you have it) and cover with a clean gauze cloth. Never rub ice or an ice pack on burns.

6. Choking

  • The Red Cross has updated its guidelines on how to give first aid to choking victims.
  • So instead of going straight for the Heimlich manoeuvre, here’s what you need to do instead. Stand behind the child, lean them forward, and give their back five quick blows with the heel of your palm.

7. Fracture

Seek medical help instantly rather than trying to align the broken bones manually.(Shutterstock)
Seek medical help instantly rather than trying to align the broken bones manually.(Shutterstock)
  • In case of fractures, avoid pressing down on the site of fracture will re-align the bone.
  • Pressing on the fracture can cause deeper injury to surrounding muscle tissue, nerves and blood vessels, or break the tender bones of children even further.

As a parent, it is common to be anxious about these childhood emergencies, but for kids, who are at the age to play, they cannot be grounded for safety measures. Instead, being aware saves the day, and this includes active intervention from the parents’ side to understand the many first-aid responses to these emergencies and how to respond calmly.

Firing Outside Disha Patani’s Bareilly Home; Goldy Brar Gang Claims Responsibility: Deets Inside!

Firing Outside Disha Patani’s Bareilly Home; Goldy Brar Gang Claims Responsibility: Deets Inside!

by jummy84 September 13, 2025
written by jummy84

Gunshots were reported outside Bollywood actress Disha Patani’s residence in Civil Lines, Bareilly, late Thursday night, leaving the area shaken. As per police accounts, several rounds were fired around 4:30 a.m., including two aerial shots, though thankfully no injuries were reported.

Soon after the attack, a social media post emerged in which Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar’s gang claimed responsibility, placing the actress at the centre of a deeply unsettling incident.

Goldy Brar Gang Claims Responsibility for Firing Outside Disha Patani’s Home

The Hindi message, shared across social media, identified two men — Virendra Charan and Mahendra Saran — as those responsible for the attack. According to the note, the firing was described as a form of “punishment” directed at Disha Patani and her sister, Khushboo Patani, over alleged derogatory remarks against spiritual leaders Premanand Maharaj and Aniruddhacharya Maharaj. The statement also issued a broader warning to the film industry, cautioning that anyone who disrespects their religion or saints would face the same consequences. The post stated:

“Jai Shri Ram. Ram Ram to all brothers. I, Virendra Charan, Mahendra Saran (Delana). Brothers, today the firing that happened at Khushboo Patani/Disha Patani’s (Bollywood actress) house (Villa No. 40, Civil Lines, Bareilly, UP), we got it done. She insulted our revered saints (Premanand Ji Maharaj and Aniruddhacharya Ji Maharaj). She tried to demean our Sanatan Dharma. The insult of our deities will not be tolerated. This was just a trailer. Next time, if she or anyone else shows disrespect towards our religion, then no one in their house will be left alive.”

Police Action After Firing at Disha Patani’s Residence

Authorities confirmed that several shots were fired outside the actor’s home and stated that they are examining the authenticity of the social media post. Bareilly police officials added that they are tracking down the individuals mentioned in the message to determine whether the claim is directly connected to the incident. While Disha Patani has yet to release an official statement, her younger sister Khushboo Patani responded earlier, acknowledging the firing and describing it as “deeply disturbing.”

Unraveling the Dispute Behind the Firing at Disha Patani’s Residence

The incident is said to have stemmed from remarks made by Khushboo Patani. She had openly criticized spiritual leader Aniruddhacharya for his comments about women and live-in relationships. In his statement, Aniruddhacharya allegedly suggested that women who remain unmarried after 25 or choose live-in relationships are often of questionable character. Khushboo condemned these remarks, labeling them as misogynistic and damaging. She stated:

“He says girls who are above the age of 25 and stay in live-in relationships, woh 4 jagah mooh maar ke aati hai (they go from one person to another). If only he was around me, I would have made him understand the meaning of the words he has used against women. They are anti-national. You should never support b***** of the highest orders.”

Khusboo’s remarks were later twisted and spread online, with misleading claims alleging that they were directed at Premanand Maharaj. This false narrative seems to have sparked outrage among certain groups and is believed to have triggered the firing incident outside Disha’s residence. At present, police are investigating the origin of the social media post and working to track down those involved. Officials have also confirmed that security around Disha Patani’s home has been reinforced, assuring that the safety of her family remains a top priority.
