“You should be proud of her…” Neon has debuted the second & final trailer for the indie horror film titled Shelby Oaks, marking the feature directorial debut of YouTube movie reviewer Chris Stuckmann. He has made some short films before, but this is his first feature and it is a big deal for those who have been watching him talk about movies for years. It premiered at the 2024 Fantasia Film Festival last year, and also played at FrightFest – it’s now set for release in theaters starting in October. “Who took Riley Brennan?” Shelby Oaks follows a woman’s desperate search for her long-lost sister falls into obsession upon realizing that the imaginary demon from their childhood may have been real. Starring Camille Sullivan as Mia, Michael Beach, Keith David, Sarah Durn, & Brendan Sexton III. There’s also a viral website for the film, packed with clues and footage about Riley. Though to find out what really happened to her and what’s going on, you’ll have to watch this when it opens soon. Definitely does look very creepy – check it out below.

Here’s the final official trailer (+ two posters) for Chris Stuckmann’s horror Shelby Oaks, from YouTube:

From Fantasia: “Who took Riley Brennan? That’s the question asked by millions of devoted, even obsessed fans of the popular YouTube series Paranormal Paranoids, which ceased production when Brennan and her three co-hosts disappeared near the deserted town of Shelby Oaks, Ohio in 2008. Conspiracy theories have run rampant over the years, but none are more determined to get to the truth than Riley’s sister, Mia (Camille Sullivan), who has finally agreed to telling Riley’s story to a documentary film crew (Emily Bennett and Rob Grant) in the hopes of finding closure. Closure, however, refuses to be found as a series of shocking events opens the door to a deeper mystery surrounding Riley, one that leads Mia to follow her ghost-hunting sister’s footsteps down a path to confront demons of the past for answers that can only be found somewhere within the darkness of Shelby Oaks… Stuckmann is finally here and ready to scare the pants off audiences…”

Shelby Oaks is written and directed by indie filmmaker Chris Stuckmann, making his feature directorial debut after making many short films and running a very popular YouTube movie review channel. From a story by Chris Stuckmann and Sam Liz. Produced by Cameron Burns, Aaron B. Koontz, Ashleigh Snead. This initially premiered at the 2024 Fantasia Film Festival last year. Neon will debut Stuckmann’s Shelby Oaks horror film in select US theaters starting on October 3rd, 2025 this fall. Want to watch? Looking scary?

Zootopia 2, the highly awaited sequel to Disney’s 2016 box office hit, will hit Indian cinemas on November 28—two days following its U.S. release. The animated comedy, which is directed by Jared Bush and Bryan Howard, features the popular characters from the first film, with Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman, Idris Elba, and Shakira reprising their roles as Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, Chief Bogo, and Gazelle, respectively.

Fan excitement, particularly children, is growing with Disney releasing the final trailer and poster of the movie. Posted on Instagram with the caption, “Zootopia will be changed furrrever… Get ready for #Zootopia2,” the trailer gives us a glimpse into Judy and Nick’s next adventure. One of the biggest highlights is the release of “Zoo”, an original song sung by Shakira and Ed Sheeran. The song is already being touted as an explosive musical moment, hoping to replicate the success of “Try Everything,” Shakira’s chart-topping hit from the previous film, which has been streamed more than 2.7 billion times worldwide.

The sequel adds to the Zootopia world with some fresh characters played by Ke Huy Quan (Gary De’Snake), Fortune Feimster (Nibbles), and Quinta Brunson (Dr. Fuzzby). In an official press announcement, as per which the plot revolves around Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, who are enrolled in a ‘Partners in Crisis’ counselling course by Chief Bogo. But their relationship is put to the test like never before when a mysterious deadly snake attacks the city.

Zootopia (2016) was universally praised and became part of the American Film Institute’s top ten films of the year, winning the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. The emotional storytelling, powerful characters, and fresh musical magic that Zootopia 2 has to offer will take fans on another journey they won’t forget.

bitchy | Princess Kate didn’t go to the women’s Rugby World Cup final & England won

by jummy84 September 28, 2025
written by jummy84

For the past month, the Women’s Rugby World Cup has been played across stadiums in England. The Princess of Wales, patron of England’s men’s and women’s national rugby teams, has only been to one match during the month-long tournament. Her husband, who is patron of the Welsh national rugby teams, has also only been to one match this month. They went to separate matches on the same day so they wouldn’t have to attend another event together. While the Welsh women didn’t do so great in the World Cup, England’s Red Roses battled their way to the final. And guess what? They WON! Another English women’s team winning a major championship! You would expect their royal patron to be there, at the World Cup-winning match, right? Well, Kate couldn’t be bothered. She sent them a good-luck tweet before the final

Good luck England! 🌹🤠 Wishing the very best of luck to the @RedRosesRugby in their Women’s Rugby World Cup Final at Twickenham today. We’re so proud of you! C pic.twitter.com/AqoVN1FUKP

— The Prince and Princess of Wales (@KensingtonRoyal) September 27, 2025

And that was it. This match was in LONDON, at the Allianz Stadium. The final got historic crowds for women’s rugby. There’s a huge boom for women’s rugby right now following some amazing matches at last year’s Paris Olympics. Meaning, there’s never been more interest in the sport, and it would have been amazing for England’s Red Roses to have their royal patron there, cheering them on AT HOME. Like, Prince William was lazy as hell and sexist as hell for not flying to Australia to support the Lionesses in the Women’s World Cup final in 2023, but at least you could say “well, it would have taken a lot of time and effort to fly to Australia last-minute.” William still should have done it, don’t get me wrong. But it’s absolutely insane that Kate was too f–king lazy to go to London for this major moment in women’s rugby, women’s sports and English sports. Kate literally had ONE day of work last week. This happened on a Saturday too, there was no school run to divide her precious attention. But hey, she tweeted her congratulations after the match. She didn’t sign it “-C” so the message was done by staff.

Congratulations to @RedRosesRugby, the new Women’s Rugby World Cup Champions! 🏆🏉

Well done to Canada – you had an outstanding tournament. Both teams should be so proud! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🇨🇦 https://t.co/O0Wg2rdUUb

Zubeen Garg’s Final Swim: A Haunting Video That Reveals The Dangers Of Swimming Without A Life Jacket! | Glamsham.com

The untimely death of one of Assam’s favorite musicians, Zubeen Garg, has created a big gap in the hearts of people across the state and other places as well. While tributes keep coming in, a poignant video on social media has emerged with the singer fighting for life in the water in what is assumed to be his last moments.

The video, which is said to have been shot during his latest visit to Singapore, captures Zubeen swimming sans life jacket, clearly tired and struggling for air as he attempts to swim towards a raft. Friends can be seen trying to rescue him, but the horrific images have left fans in shock. This comes just days after Zubeen was seen having fun at a cruise party, with a life jacket and a smile.

According to reports, Zubeen had initially entered the water with a life jacket but removed it shortly after, saying it was uncomfortable. He returned to swim without one, and during this second attempt, he is believed to have suffered a medical episode. Singapore authorities later confirmed “drowning” as the official cause of death, with officials also suspecting he may have experienced an epileptic seizure.

Zubeen passed away on September 19 while swimming in the sea with friends and colleagues on his trip to attend the North East Festival, a festival that promotes the culture of the region globally. His mortal remains were flown back to Guwahati on September 22, and he was cremated with full state honours in Sonapur on September 23. The government of Assam has since decided to develop the cremation ground into a memorial, and another in his native town, Jorhat.

Recognized for his strong voice and musical adeptness, Zubeen Garg made an everlasting impression in Indian music, singing more than 40 languages and making a remarkable contribution to Assamese, Bengali, and Hindi music industries.

Foxing to Go on Hiatus After Final 2025 Shows

by jummy84 September 23, 2025
written by jummy84

St. Louis emo stalwarts Foxing have announced that they’re going on hiatus. “[It] has become clear to us that in our pursuit of our dreams and making the most honest and genuine art we can, our relationship with music, each other, and our sense of self without the band has eroded,” the band wrote in a statement posted to social media.

Foxing will play two farewell shows—one in Chicago and one in St. Louis—in December. See those dates and find the group’s full message below.

Foxing was formed in St. Louis, Missouri, in 2011, by bassist Josh Coll, drummer Jon Hellwig, and guitarist Matthew Piva. The band went through several lineup changes before the 2013 release of debut album The Albatross. By then, Foxing had settled into a five-piece of Coll, Hellwig, vocalist Conor Murphy, and guitarists Ricky Sampson and Eric Hudson. Foxing spent the next couple of years on the road, landing opening slots for fellow emo favorites like the Hotelier and Modern Baseball.

Coll left Foxing between the release of 2015’s Dealer and 2018’s Nearer My God. Produced by Death Cab for Cutie’s Chris Walla, Nearer My God marked the band’s leap to anthemic, festival-sized indie-rock. In his review of Nearer My God, Ian Cohen wrote that it “provides the incapacitating rush of watching a broken play develop into a Hail Mary, a half-court buzzer beater, a double steal that actually works—the thrill of its success amplified by palpable risk and an alternate, disastrous outcome that was narrowly avoided.”

After Nearer My God, Foxing released Draw Down the Moon, in 2021, and a 2024 self-titled album.

Foxing With Special Guests

Foxing:

After 14 years as a band and 12 years of consistent touring, we’ve decided to take a hiatus from playing shows, writing or doing anything as Foxing.

It feels really scary to say that. This band has been completely inseparable from us as people for our entire adult lives up to this point. It is so much of our identity and our sense of self worth in the world. But it has become clear to us that in our pursuit of our dreams and making the most honest and genuine art we can, our relationship with music, each other, and our sense of self without the band has eroded. We have decided to prioritize these things and need to step away from the band to do so.

These shows in Chicago and St. Louis will be our last for the foreseeable future. Know that if you ever saw us at a show or listened to our records, you were getting the most from us that we could possibly give in that moment. We will come back if/when we feel that we have more to give.

“I’ve spent my entire life trying to escape… But after a few years, my life turned to shame… Maybe I could earn a second chance.” Apple TV has debuted another chilling full-length trailer for the forest fire thriller The Lost Bus, made by acclaimed director Paul Greengrass. After premiering at TIFF (to very positive reviews), it’s opening in theaters first this weekend – before streaming on Apple TV+ in October. Inspired by real events, The Lost Bus is a white-knuckle ride into one of the scariest wildfires as a school bus driver (played by Matthew McConaughey) and school teacher (America Ferrera) save 22 children from the inferno. It also explores what went wrong in California’s Camp Fire in 2018, America’s deadliest wildfire in a century (85 were killed), and how to prevent future tragedies, also including the story of a bus driver & school teacher who helped kids through the blaze. In addition to McConaughey & Ferrera, the cast includes Yul Vazquez, Ashlie Atkinson, and Spencer Watson. Yet another haunting forest fire movie following Kosinski’s Only the Brave (in 2017) and Rebuilding Paradise about this same fire. This is the best trailer yet – better than other official trailer! Looking like it might actually be damn good. Greengrass delivering again.

Here’s the official trailer (+ two posters) for Paul Greengrass’ film The Lost Bus, direct from YouTube:

Bad Bunny to livestream final Puerto Rico residency show on Prime Video for free

by jummy84 September 16, 2025
written by jummy84

Bad Bunny will livestream his upcoming final Puerto Rico residency show on Prime Video – see all the details below.

  • READ MORE: Bad Bunny – ‘Debí Tirar Más Fotos’ review: ode to homeland is a new high for the Puerto Rican star

Last night, the rapper and Amazon’s Prime Video announced that the final show of his ongoing Puerto Rico ‘No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí’ residency – which was recently announced for September 20 – will livestream for free across the Amazon Music app, the Amazon Music channel on Twitch and Prime Video for Amazon Prime members.

Additionally, a trailer for the upcoming livestream – consisting of footage filmed at past shows on the historic residency – has been revealed. Check it out below.

The ‘No Me Quiero Ir De Aquí’, which kicked off on July 11 and was scheduled to end on September 14, has since been extended for one final show on September 20. That show, like the first nine dates of the residency, is reserved exclusively for Puerto Rico residents.

Bad Bunny has since announced a ‘Debí Tirar Más Fotos’ 2025/2026 world tour, that will see him visit Latin America, Europe, Asia, and Australia and will include two massive dates at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London in June 2026.

He has also admitted that he won’t be touring the US during the forthcoming world tour due to fears over ICE agents raiding his concerts. Immigration raids through ICE since Donald Trump became president have soared in the US with the agency aiming for 3,000 minimum arrests a day since May. It also comes after the rapper said he previously witnessed an ICE raid in Puerto Rico in June.

Bad Bunny’s upcoming tour will be his first time arriving back to Europe since 2019, and his first time in Latin America since 2022. It will also be the rapper’s live debut in countries like Australia, Brazil and Japan.

In a five-star review of ‘Debí Tirar Más Fotos’, NME shared: “On ‘Debí Tirar Más Fotos’, Benito revolutionises Puerto Rico’s folk music and reclaims his reggaeton throne with game-changing fusions that are authentic to him and what he believes in.”

Final Emmy Predictions, As Chosen By Variety’s Awards Circuit Podcast

by jummy84 September 12, 2025
written by jummy84

We did it! Well, almost. It’s just a few days until we finally learn who won the “Severance”/ “The Pitt” smackdown… and this weekend’s Creative Arts Emmys only added to the intrigue: Shawn Hatosy won guest actor for “The Pitt” and Merritt Weaver was named guest actress for “Severance,” splitting those two up nicely. “Severance” has a lead on “The Pitt” when it comes to win tally so far (6 vs. 2) — but then, “The Pitt” won for the all-important casting category, perhaps showing where the acting votes are headed.

On this episode of the Variety Awards Circuit podcast we talk to Emmys host Nate Bargatze about how this sunday’s awards show is shaping up. But first, on the Roundtable, we give our final predictions in all the major emmy categories. Listen below!

This year’s Emmys, produced by Jesse Collins Entertainment, will include reunions timed to the 25th anniversary of ‘Gilmore Girls,’ with stars Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel, as well as a 40th anniversary ‘Golden Girls’ tribute, as Reba McEntire leads a sing along of the show’s ‘Thank You for Being a Friend’ theme song.

Also, Mariska Hargitay will lead a tribute to the ‘Law & Order’ franchise, and Jeff Probst will celebrate the 50th season of ‘Survivor.’ Plus, Eric Dane and Jesse Williams will help mark the 20th anniversary of ‘Grey’s Anatomy.’

As for Bargatze, he’s excited to talk about his plan to keep acceptance speeches short by donating money to the Boys & Girls Club every time winners don’t go long. And he discussed the fact that he’s heading to Denver this weekend to perform standup before heading back here to host the Emmys.

“I think in my stand up, you’re along for a ride a lot more, and we don’t really veer out of it,” he says. “A night like this is going to be a little more present, a little more in the moment of what’s happening as stuff happens throughout the night. I’ve got to be prepared for anything that can happen. If you think of something funny at the moment, you’ve got to kind of trust it and just throw it out there and see if it works. It’s a lot more in the moment than my stand up is, which is very prepared and exactly I know where I’m going.”

Meanwhile, here is Variety chief awards editor Clayton Davis’ final thoughts on the major Emmy categories:

Final Trailer for ‘Swiped’ Film Starring Lily James as Whitney Wolfe

“Fight for what you’ve built!” Never let them take you down! Hulu has debuted a final official trailer for a movie titled Swiped, another story of tech success in America. But instead of being a cautionary tale, this is framed as a story of great achievement in saying F you to The Man. From filmmaker Rachel Lee Goldenberg, it’s premiering at the 2025 Toronto Film Festival this week and will be streaming on Hulu to watch later in September. Swiped is inspired by the story of Whitney Wolfe (now Whitney Wolfe Herd), founder and former CEO of the dating app / platform known as Bumble. It was created when she was ousted from Tinder and she decided to create an alternative version where women are the only ones who can starting talking with a match. Lily James stars as Whitney, along with Clea DuVall, Dermot Mulroney, Pierson Fode, Joely Fisher, Myha’la, and Dan Stevens playing Badoo founder & CEO Andrey Andreev (who was a key investor in Bumble which allowed them to start). I’m still not sure why all of this is being spun into a more positive story, when it’s still yet another corporate tech biz / cautionary tale just like the others before.

Here’s the second & final trailer (+ poster) for Rachel Lee Goldenberg’s film Swiped, via Hulu’s YouTube:

Swiped Movie Poster

You can rewatch the first trailer for Rachel Lee Goldenberg’s Swiped film right here for even more footage.

“Disrupt an industry… create an empire.” 💕 Inspired by the provocative real-life story of the visionary founder of online dating platform Bumble, Swiped introduces recent college grad Whitney Wolfe, played by Lily James, as she uses extraordinary grit & ingenuity to break into the male-dominated tech industry and launch an innovative, globally lauded dating app (two, actually), paving the way to becoming the youngest female self-made billionaire. Swiped is directed by American producer / filmmaker Rachel Lee Goldenberg, director of the films Valley Girl and Unpregnant previously, plus numerous music videos, short films, and lots of TV work including episodes of “Tiny Beautiful Things” & “Minx” most recently. The screenplay is written by Bill Parker & Rachel Lee Goldenberg, and Kim Caramele. Produced by Lily James, Jennifer Gibgot, Andrew Panay. This is premiering at the 2025 Toronto Film Festival in September this fall. Disney then debuts Swiped streaming on Hulu / Disney+ starting on September 19th, 2025 coming soon.
