WWE’s Triple H responds to angry fans after John Cena’s final match

by jummy84 December 14, 2025
written by jummy84

WWE legend John Cena wrestled his final match last night (13th December), but many fans were less than pleased with the result – prompting chief content officer Triple H to explain why it happened.

Cena returned to the company where he made his name this year for a retirement tour that saw him turn heel for the first time in his career, win an unprecedented 17th world title, and take on fellow superstars such as Randy Orton, AJ Styles and CM Punk one last time.

The Peackemaker star’s final opponent was two-time world champion Gunther, who had pledged to make Cena tap out during their showdown at Saturday Night’s Main Event this weekend.

And to the shock of the 19,000-plus fans at the Capital One Arena in Washington DC… that’s exactly what he did, as Cena’s glittering career ended with a loss by submission after Gunther locked him in a sleeper hold.

Following the event, Triple H sat down to speak on the official WWE post-show where he was loudly booed by fans watching on in the background, who chanted their disapproval.

“I’m actually mildly disappointed, I thought it would be so much louder,” Triple H joked to a chorus of jeers.

He continued: “There are time-honoured traditions in our business and there are ways that you handle your business. John has said the right thing his entire career, that it is about leaving this place better than you found it.

“There’s no way for people to understand that in the moment. But you do what is right for the business. You do what is right for this industry. John has done that his entire career, and I’m going to do that my entire career. I will do what I believe is right for this business.

“It just is what it is. I understand that’s tough for people to understand, but it’s part of what we do. That is the role we have chosen.”

Triple H concluded: “If you were to say, what will Cena do on his way out – take the emotion out of it and ask people, what will John Cena do? He will put over somebody on the way out. He will leave this better than he found it, he will go into the ring and he will make somebody on his way out. That’s what John does.”

Cena will next be seen on the big screen, with two films currently scheduled to release in 2026 – the long-delayed Looney Tunes live-action and animation hybrid Coyote vs Acme, and the action comedy Matchbox from Extraction director Sam Hargrave.

As for WWE, the Road to WrestleMania will soon begin in earnest, with Saturday Night’s Main Event returning next month, as well as the 2026 Royal Rumble, which takes place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for the first time.

WWE is available to watch on Netflix in the UK and Ireland, including RAW, SmackDown, NXT, all Premium Live Events and the WWE archive.

You can sign up for Netflix from £5.99 a month. Netflix is also available on Sky Glass and Virgin Media.

Neighbours icon will be missing from final ever episodes, boss confirms

by jummy84 November 30, 2025
written by jummy84

For the second time in just a few years, Neighbours is preparing for what looks set to be the beloved Australian soap’s final ever episode – but one of the show’s most iconic characters sadly won’t be involved.

According to boss Jason Herbison, Toadie Rebecchi star Ryan Moloney – who departed the soap after 30 years earlier this year – was unavailable to reprise his role in the finale, which was filmed back in July.

“We asked Ryan [Moloney] to return as Toadie,” he explained in an interview with TV Week. “He was unavailable sadly, but he does of course get a mention.”

Although Toadie will be absent, a number of familiar faces from the show’s past are expected to appear as soap draws to a close.

Some of the characters confirmed to return to Ramsay Street for one last hurrah include Shane Ramsay (Peter O’Brien), Melanie Pearson (Lucinda Cowden), Jimmy Williams (Darcy Tadich), Ned Willis (Ben Hall) and Roxy Canning (Zima Anderson) – and there could be an extra surprise or two in store, too.

Herbison also teased that the episode will include “a few Easter eggs for the fans” and explained why he felt the need to end the show in a very different way from the previous finale in 2022, before the show had been rescued by Amazon.

“I couldn’t end it the same way as I did last time,” he said. “I knew we were losing the Nunawading Studios and backlot imminently, which was different to the last time.

“With so much love for the show I felt I should craft an ending that would give the show a chance to come back in different ways that didn’t rely on the studios. This is what the finale sets out to do.”

Toadie (Ryan Moloney) Fremantle

It was confirmed back in February that the soap was to be axed again after Amazon opted against renewing it beyond their original 460-episode commission, with the final episode set to air on Thursday 11th December.

When filming concluded in July, Herbison said: “Neighbours is a special show and it’s been a privilege to make the recent seasons for our loyal viewers around the world. We have added 460 episodes to our legacy of over 9,000 episodes, something we all feel proud of.

“Once again, we will be resting the residents of Ramsay Street on a hopeful note, with some tantalising possibilities for a future chapter.”

Who won Big Brother 2025? Winner revealed after grand final

by jummy84 November 15, 2025
written by jummy84

Big Brother 2025 has now come to the end – with one housemate coming out on top as the winner.

Six contestants made it to the final: Cameron, Elsa, Emily, Jenny, Richard and Tate were all hoping to become the show’s latest champion and walk away with the life-changing cash prize of £100,000.

Tate was the first to be eliminated followed by Emily and Cameron. Jenny then finished third, leaving Elsa and Richard as the final two contestants in the house.

Ultimately it was Richard who was announced as the winner of Big Brother 2025.

This is the third season of Big Brother since it arrived on ITV. Since 2023, the Big Brother brand has now surpassed 150 million streams on ITVX.

Richard now joins the hall of fame of ITV Big Brother winners which already includes the likes of Ali Bromley who won last year and Jordan Sangha who won the first season of the reboot in 2023. There have also been two celebrity iterations of the show which saw TV personality David Potts win in 2024 and Coronation Street actor Jack P Shepherd take the crown earlier this year.

This year’s finalists were confirmed after a season full of twists, turns and shocking eliminations.

Early on, housemate George Gilbert was removed for “repeated use of unacceptable language and behaviour” and the show then introduced one of it’s most shocking twists yet with a fake elimination where it brought back two previous housemates. More recently, viewers were left stunned after fan favourite Zeelah was eliminated after failing to secure enough of the public vote.

This left Richard as the favourite to win after his hilarious outburst in the diary room following his “nemesis” Caroline’s eviction, the two having been at odds for their entire six weeks in the house.

It has not yet been confirmed whether Big Brother or Celebrity Big Brother will return for new seasons in 2026.

Big Brother is available to stream on ITVX.

Little Feat Announce Final Tour, Share New Song With Inara George: Listen

More than half a century after forming, roots-rock stalwarts Little Feat have announced the start of their final tour. The Last Farewell Tour kicks off in April with shows across the southern United States, though the band have confirmed a global tour to follow. Scroll down to see Little Feat’s full list of tour dates.

“Playing is the joy and satisfaction of touring, but it comes with the hard part—travel, the endless miles on a bus,” Little Feat shared in a statement. “It’s definitely not an absolute, never-gonna-play again statement.  This wind-down will take several years to accomplish, and while it does, Feat will continue to perform and record as long as they are able. It’s a retirement from the travel of touring.”

The Last Farewell Tour’s lineup will feature founding keyboardist Bill Payne alongside guitarists Fred Tackett and Scott Sharrard, bassist Kenny Gradney, percussionist Sam Clayton, and drummer Tony Leone. Paul Barrere, the band’s longtime guitarist and singer, died in 2019.

Little Feat shared their latest album, Strike Up the Band, earlier this year. Alongside the tour announcement, they’ve shared “Feathers and a Smile,” a song written by the band’s late co-founder Lowell George and sung by his daughter, Inara George. Listen to it below.

The Osbournes reveal Ozzy was secretly hospitalised two weeks before final gig

by jummy84 November 13, 2025
written by jummy84

The Osbournes have revealed that the late Black Sabbath icon Ozzy Osbourne was secretly hospitalised just two weeks before his final concert.

  • READ MORE: Ozzy Osbourne, 1948-2025: culture-smashing revolutionary that redefined rock and reality TV

The Prince of Darkness passed away in July at the age of 76, just 17 days after he played one final show as the frontman of Black Sabbath at a concert at Villa Park in Birmingham.

Now, in the first episode of The Osbournes Unfiltered podcast since Ozzy’s passing, Sharon, Kelly and Jack remembered the metal pioneer, revealing several unknown things about his final year.

While Ozzy had long been battle a number of medical conditions and setbacks – including Parkinson’s Disease – Jack shared that “things started getting worse” in the first week of December last year, when Ozzy “took a little fall”.

Later on in the podcast episode, the family opened up to reveal that Ozzy had been hospitalised just two weeks before his final concert with Black Sabbath, and no one knew. Reflecting on Ozzy’s hospitalisation.

While they didn’t reveal why Ozzy was hospitalised in that instance, Sharon turned to Jack with a funny story: “The story, I don’t think even you know it, we had him in the hospital and we were just terrified that people were going to find out.”

“So we had all the security and the hospital – the hospital was amazing, they really were – the people at the front desk were told ‘nobody, if they ask for Ozzy, he’s not here. Nobody’s allowed up’, all of that. They had pictures of all of us who were allowed up, and names, and this guy comes up and says ‘I want to see John Osbourne (Ozzy’s legal name)’ so of course there’s a red light and they go ‘who are you?’ and he goes ‘I’m his brother.’”

“So they call up to the security, and they say ‘Ozzy’s brother is here,’” Sharon continued. “‘He’s asked to see him. He knows he’s here.’ I’m like, there’s no way, his brother doesn’t even know he’s in here. His sisters, his brother didn’t know. So I sent security down and I said ‘find out who this guy is, he’s definitely from the press.’”

“They’re not the most polite in the world, they’re the most threatening. This guy kept saying ‘He’s my brother, he knows I’m coming.’ After harassing this poor man, there was [another] John Osbourne in the hospital, and it was his brother. We felt so terrible.”

Osbourne had experienced a number of health issues in recent years, including a 2019 fall that aggravated an earlier spinal injury, requiring numerous surgeries. In addition to suffering pneumonia and a longstanding infection, he had also been diagnosed with a form of Parkinson’s.

Recently, Jack Osbourne said the final Black Sabbath show became a “living wake” for his late father Ozzy Osbourne. Speaking to Good Morning America he shared his memories of being present for the final show. “Before he went on stage, I ran back into the dressing room and I just gave him a big hug and I just kissed him and I just said, ‘Crush it, you’re going to do so good’,” he explained.

“I was in the crowd and I was with my brother and we both were just crying – it wasn’t because of feeling sorry for him, it wasn’t because we were sad for him, I think it was because we knew it was the last time…In hindsight, it kind of was a living wake, if you think about it. He got to say goodbye to everyone.”

The final stage of Osbourne’s life has been captured in the new BBC documentary Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home, which is available to watch on the BBC iPlayer for UK viewers here.

In poignant scenes at the end of the doc, Ozzy reflects on the experience of playing in front of 44,000 people for one final time. “The only thing I really got… what was terribly frustrating for me, I had to sit there instead of running across the stage,” he said. “That was fucking torture, because I wanted to get off that [chair] so much.”

He continued: “It was very humbling, to sit in that chair for nine songs. What a great way to go out, that gig was.”

Another new documentary, Ozzy: No Escape From Now, details the Prince Of Darkness’ final six years is available to stream on Paramount+ now. Osbourne’s memoir Last Rites was also published in October and included Ozzy speaking about a heart problem days before his passing and how the late Friends actor Matthew Perry once attended AA meetings at the Osbourne’s house.

WWE icon John Cena overcome with ‘disbelief and appreciation’ after final hometown show

John Cena felt “grateful disbelief and appreciation” after wrestling in his hometown for the last time.

John Cena wrestled in front of a hometown crowd for the last time

On Monday’s (10.11.25) episode of WWE Raw on Netflix, the star had his final match in Boston just weeks before his retirement bout takes place at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13.

The 48-year-old actor – who grew up nearby in West Newbury, defeated Dominik Mysterio, 28, to win the Intercontinental Championship for the first time in his 23-year career.

Alongside a clip of him celebrating, he wrote on X: “Thank you Boston. It meant so much to be able, for one last time, to be allowed an opportunity to do what I love, in a place I love, surrounded by those I love.

“Our performances are only meaningful if YOU the audience invest in us and decide they are.

“The smile on my face and awe in my eyes in this small clip is an honest show of grateful disbelief and appreciation for all you’ve ever invested in me.

“Last night meant more than I can ever express. Thank you Boston.”

Cena became a legend in professional wrestling before making the jump to Hollywood, and this year he has embarked on a farewell tour before his career comes to an end.

In July, a press release announcing a new deal between WWE and Peacock, NBC Sports confirmed: “Saturday Night’s Main Event on Dec. 13 will feature John Cena in his retirement match.”

Cena’s final opponent is currently unknown, with a 16-man tournament being held on WWE programming to determine his last rival.

He previously admitted his age is one of the reasons he’ll be retiring in four month’s time.

He told PEOPLE magazine: “Age plays a factor. I’m not as strong or as fast as I used to be.

“I made a promise when I started gaining some notoriety that when I’m a step slower, I will go, because there will be kids just as hungry as I was who have earned a shot to see if they can make it.”

bitchy | Prince William tried to prove that he can read during his final day in Brazil

by jummy84 November 8, 2025
written by jummy84

Last week, in the height of the Andrew Windsor drama, the New Statesman published their latest cover story. The piece was an interesting and well-researched argument for the abolition of the British monarchy. The New Statesman suggested letting King Charles’s reign run its course, and then getting Scooter King William to basically dissolve the monarchy. I bring up that article because one of the reasons why they suggest that William will be a terrible king is because there’s a growing body of evidence that William is functionally illiterate. It’s been known for some time that William refuses to read briefing memos and he has repeatedly admitted to not enjoying reading or having a favorite author or book.

Well, funny story – Scooter King heard the “illiterate” speculation and he’s been trying to not-so-subtly prove that he can read this week in Brazil. He actually allowed photographers to capture him “reading” his speech on the way to Belem, Brazil. They also got some wider shots of William performing his big COP30 speech, aided by a Teleprompter. See!! He can read!! WATCH HIM READ HIS BIG KEEN SPEECH!

The comments on this video and others on social media reminded me so much of the backlash to William talking about his other cause, homelessness. I’ve always argued that William actually does care about homelessness, he’s just too dumb to understand that he’s not the guy to talk about it or be a vocal advocate for homeless people. He’s just too much of a f–king hypocrite, with eleven forever homes and his slumlord duchy. He gets such well-deserved backlash for all of it, and it’s the same with environmentalism. He comes across as inauthentic because he genuinely lacks authenticity in this area, even more so than homelessness.

If you thought we were done talking about those volleyball pics from the beginning of the week, well, you were wrong. There’s a video now! A video of William sticking his hand down his pants while making eye contact with a woman. Yiikes.

The Celebrity Traitors final review: Treachery and tears make for TV perfection

by jummy84 November 7, 2025
written by jummy84

Warning: this article contains spoilers for the final of The Celebrity Traitors. Add it to your watchlist.

Finally, we have a winner, and it’s watch-in-real-time, unstreamed, un-binged TV. It’s a rare and beautiful thing in 2025 to sit staring at the screen, knowing millions around the country are sitting on similar edges of seats, waiting to find out which of the five remaining players will emerge triumphant of The Celebrity Traitors.

And what did we get? With only five left from the original 19 who entered the castle — two Traitors, three Faithful — it was all about alliances. Joe and Nick were in such cahoots working out how to oust the others, I spent the first hour wishing one of them had turned out to be a Traitor. Instead, the second best moment of the night came another way, with Nick ultimately joining the others in banishing Joe – could you hear your neighbours shouting at the screen?!

That was the warm-up for the best, biggest twist of all, when Alan Carr came through as the final, solitary traitor left standing, telling the others, almost sadly, “I am, and have always been, a Traitor.” Nick collapsed, David sighed, Alan cried and the sweet Faithful pair ended up comforting him in his moment of guilty triumph. It was perfect, must-watch TV.

BBC

Following another effortlessly successful daytime mission that proved the celebs to be far better at physical challenges than they have ever been at unearthing Traitors, it was all about the penultimate Round Table. You know a show has fulfilled its promise of surprising us when one of the country’s premier historians is reduced to role of “useful idiot”, but that’s where David Olusoga found himself – stuck in the middle as Faithful Joe and Nick battled to outwit Alan and Cat.

All that classical training and scholarship served Olusoga not – ultimately, he just didn’t have the skills, or possibly stomach, to either betray or sniff out the treachery around him, which doesn’t really reflect that badly on him, I suppose. Instead, Joe’s strength of purpose saw Cat disposed of, but that same zeal proved his undoing at the very last Round Table, as Alan used all his powers of persuasion to unsettle others’ doubts in the big man, and clear his way to victory.

So now, after five weeks and nine episodes, the ravens have left the castle, the drawbridge has been pulled up, the last of the faithful banished and the traitors unearthed. There have been some prize moments along the way: Celia Imrie’s wind proving she has a pro’s comedic timing in all things; Claire Balding’s disastrous attempt to participate in not commentate on a sporting challenge; the unprecedented nation-stopping Round Table stalemate between David and Mark Bonnar. All will be remembered, but none so powerfully as the two moments that bookended the series — both starring Alan.

The first came when the third Traitor was initially unearthed, and even his fellow conspirators laughed out loud; the second when he was finally revealed to the Faithful, a moment set to become a nation-sweeping meme. The Chatty Man’s presence as a giggling assassin in plain sight set the tone for the whole series, and Alan’s charm could explain why the faithful were jaw-droopingly inept in unearthing the Traitors in their midst, and also why they were so quick to forgive him for his treachery. There he stood — emotional, funny, no longer deadly – in a fitting end to a series that has confounded any fears a celebrity version would dilute the simple human premise — betray or be betrayed — at the heart of it. What will we all do now?

The Final Mercury Retrograde Of 2025 Is Will Be Tough

Mercury’s backpedal starts with a conjunction to Mars in Sagittarius on November 12, setting the stage for an argument due to a confrontation over a misunderstanding. Mercury retrograde links up with Pluto in Aquarius on November 17, piling onto the issues from the 12th, a few days later. Matters can reach a fever pitch on the 17th, so tread lightly and don’t let conversations get too out of control. Mercury moves back into Scorpio on November 19, but moments after, Uranus retrograde in Taurus and Neptune retrograde in Pisces reveal secrets. The Sun forms a conjunction to Mercury retrograde on the 20th, a few hours before the New Moon. Saturn retrograde in Pisces and Jupiter retrograde in Cancer try to add structure to the vibe on November 22. However, we will break boundaries on the 24th when Venus and Mercury retrograde in Scorpio come together, forcing us to deal with situations and people from the old days.

Yes, this Mercury retrograde is going to be tough. The best way to thrive is not to gaslight ourselves. Acknowledging our feelings and not compromising our needs could create conflict with those not ready to hear them. We shouldn’t hold back our sentiments to avoid drama and to make others happy. Speaking our truth and being as direct as possible during Mercury retrograde is vital. We must clarify and simplify words several times to get our points across. IKYK miscommunications are rampant, so checking messages before sending for typos is essential. There could also be travel issues, so allotting ourselves an extra half hour to get to a destination helps lessen anxiety and stress.

This Mercurial moonwalk is going to fuel our tempers and emotions. All of the watery planets are making us long for the past. Just because the moment has slipped away doesn’t mean the merit is gone. The universe is giving us another chance to mend fences, heal our hearts, and look back and right our wrongs or attempt to make good on former promises. The Mercurial reckoning is here — are you ready?
