Final US Trailer for ‘Omniscient Reader: The Prophecy’ Korean Movie

“What’s the meaning of an ending with one survivor?” Blue Fox Entertainment has unveiled their official US trailers for an epic Korean action adventure movie called Omniscient Reader: The Prophecy. It’s made by the same Korean filmmaker who also made The Great Flood movie out in December later this year. Omniscient Reader is adapted from a famous web novel, written by a Korean author duo writing under the pen name “singNsong”. It was originally a big hit in Korea back in 2019. Combining epic high-stakes action with mind-bending fantasy, the movie promises to be a cinematic spectacle that will captivate both long-time fans of the webtoon & newcomers alike. When the apocalyptic world depicted in a serial novel suddenly becomes reality, ordinary Kim Dok-ja – the only person who knows how the novel ends – must set out on a treacherous journey with his companions and the novel’s omnipotent hero, Yu Jung-hyeok, to survive and save the day. Starring Ahn Hyo-seop & Lee Min-ho, along with Chae Soo-bin, Shin Seung-ho, Nana, Jisoo, and Kwon Eun-seong. This looks like a big, cheesy Hollywood movie with some sketchy VFX – as they battle creatures of all sizes, malevolent forces, and more mayhem all trying to write their down destiny.

Omniscient Reader: The Prophecy Poster

Kim Dok-ja (Ahn Hyo-seop), an ordinary man in his 20s, is the only reader of an obscure web novel titled “Ways to Survive the Apocalypse”. Having started reading in school, after 10 years of serialization the novel’s conclusion is finally published, and Kim, not liking the ending, writes an angry letter to the author, calling it “the worst novel ever”. After sending the letter, the apocalyptic world of the novel suddenly becomes reality, and the novel’s omnipotent hero Yu Jung-hyeok (Lee Min-ho) appears before Kim. As the only person who knows how to survive in this world, Kim and his companions rescue Yu Jung-hyeok and strive to save the world by writing his own, new ending. Omniscient Reader: The Prophecy, also known as 전지적 독자 시점 in Korean, is directed by Korean filmmaker Kim Byung-woo, director of the films Written, The Terror Live, Take Point, and the “Reborn” series previously, as well as the upcoming The Great Flood movie. The screenplay is written by Kim Byung-woo & Lee Jung-min; based on the web novel by singNsong (aka Sing Shong). Produced by Realties Pictures & Won Dong-yeon. Capelight & Blue Fox debut Omniscient Reader: The Prophecy direct-to-VOD in the US starting November 4th, 2025 this fall. Who’s interested?

Janet Hubert To Join ‘Bel-Air’ Cast For The Series’ Final Season

by jummy84 October 28, 2025
written by jummy84

In a moment that brings the story full circle, Janet Hubert—the original Aunt Viv from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air—is set to join the cast of Bel-Air for its fourth and final season on Peacock.

According to Deadline, Hubert will play a new character that Hilary (played by Coco Jones) meets and becomes a mentor and confidant to, adding depth to Hilary’s journey and bridging generations of strong Black female characters.

Her return marks a significant milestone, as Hubert famously departed the original sitcom midway through its six-season run. Now, more than three decades later, her participation in Bel-Air closes a powerful chapter in television history, uniting the show’s legacy with its bold reimagining.

Hubert’s addition makes her the sixth OG cast member to appear in the reboot, joining Daphne Maxwell Reid, Vernee Watson-Johnson, Tatyana Ali, Joseph Marcell, and Tyra Banks—who will also appear this season.

Also joining the cast is Caroline Chikezie (Power Book II: Ghost), who will play Dominique Warren, the head of Geoffrey’s (Jimmy Akingbola) former London gang — a role that intertwine with her British background. (Fun fact: the actor portraying the new Uncle Phil is Chikezie’s real-life husband.)

“You don’t even know the game you’re playing, do you?” Paramount+ has revealed one final official trailer for the next thrilling season of the West Texas oil series called Landman, created by Taylor Sheridan. The first season dropped in November last year – the second season is already lined up to drop in November this year. The first was a huge hit and Sheridan moves fast – it’s shot entirely on location in Texas and he loves to go big when something clicks with audiences. Billy Bob Thornton is returns again as an oil man in this series based on the “Boomtown” podcast series (and real stories from the oil biz down in Texas). “You think you understand how this business works, but you don’t.” Things are heating up in this season of Landman. Tommy faces new pressures at home and also at M-Tex Oil, where Cami pushes him to the brink. Don’t be surprised if something – or someone – breaks. The returning cast includes Thornton with Demi Moore, Ali Larter, Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Paulina Chávez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie, and James Jordan. Major new roles in Season 2 include Colm Feore, Andy Garcia (from the end of Season 1), and Sam Elliott. This looks even more intense to watch! Crime and corruption and oil go hand-in-hand.

Here’s all three trailers (+ final poster) for Taylor Sheridan’s series Landman – Season 2, from YouTube:

“Where the children dance to the Pipes of Pan!” Bleecker Street has revealed the first look teaser for another new Spinal Tap movie releasing soon as a follow up to Spinal Tap II. They will also be releasing Vertigo Live & Rob Reiner’s Spinal Tap at Stonehenge: The Final Finale. One more concert before they kick the bucket! The concert-film reunites legendary fictional heavy metal band Spinal Tap (Christopher Guest, Michael McKean, Harry Shearer) for a once-in-a-lifetime performance — the first-ever rock show filmed at Stonehenge, the historic English heritage site tied to their iconic song of the same name. The film features show-stopping guest performances from Shania Twain, Eric Clapton, and Josh Groban and will be released by Bleecker Street in theaters and in IMAX in 2026. Bring on the grand finale Stonehenge performance of a lifetime! Back in September, Bleecker released the long-awaited sequel Spinal Tap II: The End Continues some 41 years after the original mockumentary This Is Spinal Tap rocked the world back in 1984. This looks like an actually crazy fun concert experience. And a radical way to wrap up this 40+ year Spinal Tap legacy.

Here’s the new teaser trailer for the live rock doc Spinal Tap Concert at Stonehenge, from YouTube:

Spinal Tap Concert at Stonehenge

You can rewatch the official trailer for Spinal Tap II: The End Continues right here for more film footage.

This Is Spinal Tap was released to critical acclaim in 1984 and went on to become a cult classic. In 2002, it was deemed “culturally, historically, and aesthetically significant” by the Library of Congress, and was selected for preservation by the National Film Registry. Conceived by rockers Guest, McKean, Reiner, and Shearer, Spinal Tap II follows England’s loudest and most punctual band, as they reunite after a 15-year hiatus for one final concert. On the 40th anniversary of the original film, the sequel to the legendary rock mockumentary that put the film company on a run of success. Spinal Tap II: The End Continues is once again directed by iconic American filmmaker Rob Reiner, director of many classics like Stand By Me, The Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally, A Few Good Men, The Story of Us, plus docs the original This Is Spinal Tap, I Am Your Child, and Albert Brooks: Defending My Life most recently. The screenplay is by Christopher Guest & Michael McKean & Rob Reiner & Harry Shearer. Produced by Rob Reiner, Michele Reiner and Matthew George; along with Castle Rock Entertainment. Bleecker Street debuted Reiner’s Spinal Tap II sequel in theaters on September 12th, 2025. This concert doc lands in early 2026. Rock on? 🤘 🎸

Watch Waxahatchee join Rilo Kiley for ‘With Arms Outstretched’ at final reunion tour show

by jummy84 October 19, 2025
written by jummy84

Rilo Kiley brought out Waxahatchee to round out their reunion tour with a version of ‘With Arms Outstretched’ – check it out below.

Jenny Lewis and co. have been playing the ‘Sometimes When You’re On, You’re Really Fucking On Tour’ in the US this year, their first extended run of shows since 2008, although they did play a one-off gig for a livestream benefit in 2021.

The final date in the run came on Saturday night (October 18) at Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre, and Waxahatchee – aka Katie Crutchfield – served as the opening act, having been a self-confessed superfan of the group.

Together, they sang ‘With Arms Outstretched’, a fan favourite track from Rilo Kiley’s second album ‘The Execution Of All Things’, released in 2002. Watch footage of the collaboration here:

Rilo Kiley played:

‘The Execution Of All Things’
‘Spectacular Views’
‘Paint’s Peeling’
‘The Moneymaker’
‘Dreamworld’
‘I Never’
‘Glendora’
‘Close Call’
‘It’s A Hit’
‘Does He Love You?’
‘Ripchord’
‘The Good That Won’t Come Out’
‘Silver Lining’
‘With Arms Outstretched’ (with Waxahatchee)
‘A Better Son/Daughter’
‘Portions For Foxes’
‘Let Me Back In’
‘Breakin’ Up’
‘Pictures Of Success’

Jenny Lewis told NME in 2019 that she was open to getting the band back together, and then in 2023, the singer spoke to NME again about the prospect of a Rilo Kiley reunion, dismissing immediate hopes by saying: “I’ve got a lot on my plate […] We’re not talking about it, but it’s not off the table.”

Although live shows have been few and far between since 2011, Rilo Kiley did reissue their 1999 self-titled debut album in 2020 and made it available on streaming services for the first time.

As for Waxahatchee, her sixth studio album ‘Tigers Blood’ was released last year, which NME awarded the full five stars. “These songs offer a more adult and grounded perspective than ones like ‘Lone Star Lake’ and ‘Evil Spawn’; they’re about the person who feels like home rather than the one who gets your blood pumping,” the review read. “It’s a nice counterweight that feels emblematic of ‘Tigers Blood’ — it’s a burning fire, and it’s a warm summer evening at once.”

It was later named as one of NME’s 50 best albums of 2024.

“Let out your monstrousness!” And embrace your uniqueness! Briarcliff Ent. has unveiled one more funny final trailer for the animated adventure comedy Stitch Head, based on the beloved graphic novel series of the same name. This animated Frankenstein riff opening in theaters at the end of October just in time for Halloween. May all the weird monsters & creatures unite! From director Steve Hudson, this is about Stitch Head, a small creature awoken by a Mad Professor in a castle to protect the professor’s other creations from the people of Grubbers Nubbin. Featuring tons of other monsters, too. “Stitch Head was the first creation to be born—and the first to be forgotten.” A whimsical, heartfelt twist on the Frankenstein legend, Stitch Head is a comedy adventure for monsters of every age. This animated comedy has the voices of Asa Butterfield as Stitch Head, with Joel Fry, Alison Steadman, Rob Brydon, Fern Brady, Tia Bannon, & Jamali Maddix. This actually looks like a good time! Frankenstein for kids! Since you probably can’t bring young ones to Guillermo del Toro’s more darker Frankenstein movie – this one instead is fun for the whole family.

Here’s the third & final trailer (+ poster) for Steve Hudson’s movie Stitch Head, direct from YouTube:

Stitch Head Movie Poster

You can rewatch the teaser for Steve Hudson’s Stitch Head film right here and the full official trailer here.

High above the little town of Grubbers Nubbin, in a castle laboratory, the maddest of all mad professors brings monstrous creations to (almost) life… and then promptly forgets all about them. So, who runs the castle? Who keeps the monsters in line, so the townsfolk don’t form an angry mob? That job falls to Stitch Head – the professor’s very first creation. He does it all, unnoticed and unthanked. But when a ramshackle freak show rolls into town, its sly owner, Fulbert Freakfinder, comes knocking, offering Stitch Head fame, fortune… and maybe even love. A whimsical, heartfelt twist on the Frankenstein legend. Stitch Head is written and directed by English actor / filmmaker Steve Hudson, director of the movies Co/Ma and True North previously, plus the series “Cranford”. Co-directed by Toby Genkel. Adapted from the graphic novel series created by Guy Bass. Produced by Sonja Ewers and Mark Mertens. Briarcliff Ent. debuts the animated Stitch Head movie in theaters nationwide starting October 29th, 2025 this fall. Who’s down? Look good?

Watch Ace Frehley Play ‘Deuce’ and ‘New York Groove’ During Final Show

by jummy84 October 17, 2025
written by jummy84

The rock world is in a state of deep mourning for Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley, who died Oct. 16 following a fall at his home.

“We are devastated by the passing of Ace Frehley,” Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley said in a joint statement. “He was an essential and irreplaceable rock soldier during some of the most formative foundational chapters of the band and its history. He is and will always be a part of KISS’s legacy.

Frehley was a part of Kiss from their earliest shows in 1973 all the way until 1982, when he left due to substance abuse issues, musical differences, and persistent personality clashes with Simmons and Stanley. He rejoined in 1996 for the group’s triumphant reunion run, but left again 2002 following the conclusion of the band’s first farewell tour.

The original four members last stood onstage together when they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2015, but they didn’t perform that night. In 2018, however, Frehley played four songs with the new lineup of the band at a Kiss Kruise on Halloween. It was Frehley’s final appearance with the band. Earlier that year, Simmons and Frehley went on a co-headlining tour of Australia, and wrapped up every night by playing a couple of Kiss songs together.

Over the past two decades, Freely toured all across America with his solo band, hitting a mixture of theaters, casinos, clubs, and fairs. His set focused heavily on tunes from the Kiss catalog, but he did break out a few solo gems like “Cherry Medicine,” “Rock Soldiers,” “Rip It Out,” and his famous cover of Russ Ballard’s “New York Groove.”

His last gig took place Sept. 5, 2025, at the Uptown Theater in Providence, Rhode Island. Check out fan-shot footage of show opener “Deuce,” along with “New York Groove.” Like countless Kiss concerts before it, the night wrapped up with “Rock and Roll All Nite.” “This next song if you haven’t heard, it, you’re probably an alien,” Freely told the crowd, “because everyone has heard this song even if you’re not a Kiss fan or an Ace fan. Check it out.”

Editor’s picks

Later that month, Frehley canceled a show at the Antelope Valley Fair in Lancaster, California, after suffering a fall at his home that required a trip to the hospital. About a month later, he pulled all of his remaining dates due to “ongoing medical issues.”

Trending Stories

Kiss are scheduled to make their first live appearance since the conclusion of their 2023 farewell tour at the Kiss Kruise: Landlocked in Vegas event on the weekend of Nov. 14 at Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas. The band hasn’t said exactly what they’ll do at the show, but they won’t be in makeup and they’re promising acoustic and electric tunes.

Fans held out hope that Frehley and Peter Criss would pop up at the event and give the world the proper goodbye they were denied on the second farewell tour. Sadly, that’s now impossible. But odd are high they’ll at least hold a special tribute to Frehley.

“Have you heard of the 12 Manifestations?” This looks creepy. We’re ready to face the forbidden dark. Are you? Well Go USA already released this Korean horror film titled Dark Nuns earlier this year (we posted the teaser already). But we’re just catching up with this final trailer now. A young boy Hee-Joon is possessed by an evil spirit. Nun Yunia tries to save him, assisted by Nun Mikaela. Priest Paul seeks medical treatment, while Priest Andrew performs an exorcism to rid of the spirit. After learning that the priest cannot arrive in time to save a young boy possessed by a powerful evil spirit, the nuns try a dangerous forbidden exorcism ritual themselves in direct violation of the Church’s sacred order—putting both their lives and even their immortal souls in grave danger. Also known as The Priest 2: Dark Nuns, it’s a spin-off of the 2015 film The Priest. Starring Song Hye-Kyo, Jeon Yeo-Been, Lee Jin-Wook, & Moon Woo-Jin. If anyone wants to find out what these dark nuns are up to in here, this film is already available to watch on VOD at home now.

Here’s the final official trailer (+ poster) for Hyeok-jae Kwon’s horror Dark Nuns, direct from YouTube:

Dark Nuns Poster

You can rewatch the teaser trailer for Hyeok-jae Kwon’s Dark Nuns film right here for the first look again.

The film centers around the two nuns, Sister Junia and Sister Michaela, who are confronted with a young boy named Hee-joon, who has been possessed by a powerful evil spirit. Sister Junia, driven by her faith and compassion, takes it upon herself to save the boy, while Sister Michaela, initially skeptical, is drawn into the investigation. As they delve deeper into the mystery, they encounter a series of chilling events and uncover a dark secret hidden within the walls of their convent. The nuns must confront their own fears and beliefs as they battle against the powerful evil that threatens Hee-joon’s life and the sanctity of their order. Dark Nuns, also known as 검은 수녀들 in Korean or The Priest 2: Dark Nuns, is directed by Korean filmmaker Hyeok-jae Kwon, director of the films Troubleshooter and Count previously. No writer credit is listed. Produced by Lee Yu-jin and Oh Hyo-jin. The film initially opened in Korean in January. Well Go USA also already released Dark Nuns in select US theaters on February 7th, 2025 earlier this year. Any scary?

Riot Women star on potential season 2: ‘It doesn’t feel final’

by jummy84 October 14, 2025
written by jummy84

The BBC has yet to announce what the future holds for Riot Women, Sally Wainwright’s life-affirming new drama about a group of menopausal women who form a punk rock band. But the series is certainly poised to continue following an eventful finale that leaves the door wide open.

“Oh, it definitely doesn’t feel final,” Craig told RadioTimes.com. “And I know that there’s a great will to have another season. I’m certainly not done with Kitty, so I’d like to have another go at that.”

After Kitty narrowly avoided a third stint behind bars – when the criminal damage case against her collapsed – she was free to join her bandmates on stage at the Hebden Bridge festival, which was an utter triumph. And for once in Kitty’s life, everything appeared to be on an even keel.

But just after she stepped off stage, she received a call from her dad.

Read more:

He’d done some digging and uncovered the names of the three men who raped her when she was 12, resulting in her pregnancy with Tom.

One had died, but two were still alive – one of whom, according to Kitty’s dad, was an undercover police officer who had infiltrated the gang and gone on to become a detective chief superintendent before retiring.

“I’ve got an address. What you gonna do to then, love?” he asked her. “Have you decided?”

In an earlier scene, Kitty had confided in Holly that rather than go to the police, she might take matters into her own hands. “I might want to deal with it myself,” she said.

But will she succumb to her rage and risk blowing up her own life in the process? Or will she choose herself, her son Tom, Beth, and the rest of the Riot Women?

Sadly, tradition dictates that she’ll probably do the former…

“She’s often lied to, she’s often kicked about in life, and I think that she picks herself up in her own unique way – and that is exactly how you find her [at the beginning of the series]: smashing up cars and taking her revenge in only the way that she will,” said Craig.

But after beginning the slow process of reclaiming her voice and rebuilding her life, perhaps, just perhaps, she’ll surprise everyone.

“She’ll always find a way to solve things – but they just might be in a really, really unexpected way,” she added.

“There’s absolutely a second, third, fourth chance,” said Craig of how the drama champions new beginnings, redemption, or simply showing the world who you really are. “You can reinvent yourself. You can start again.”

We’re all rooting for you, Kitty.

Riot Women airs on BBC One and iPlayer.

“In this office – my office – we believe in Bruce Springsteen.” “Let’s burn this place down, Jon.” 🎸 20th Century Studios has launched their final official trailer for the music biopic movie Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere, a look back at the early days of Bruce Springsteen in the 80s creating his album called “Nebraska”. This rock ‘n roll musical biopic celebration will hit theaters nationwide in late October. In just a few weeks! Inspired by the book of the same name, it follows Bruce Springsteen’s journey in creating and recording his 1982 album “Nebraska” in his Jersey bedroom, which emerged just as he was recording “Born in the USA” with the E Street Band. The movie stars Jeremy Allen White as “The Boss”, and is written & directed by Scott Cooper. The full cast also includes Jeremy Strong as Springsteen’s long-time confidant & manager, Jon Landau; Paul Walter Hauser as guitar tech Mike Batlan; Stephen Graham as Bruce’s father, Doug; Odessa Young as his love interest, Faye; Gaby Hoffman as Springsteen’s mom, Adele; Marc Maron as Chuck Plotkin; David Krumholtz as record exec Al Teller. The studio has already posted so many trailers for this, and featurettes, we’ve seen plenty and it looks pretty good. Rock on, Bruce.

You can rewatch the first trailer for Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere right here / second trailer here.

Made by 20th Century Studios, Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere chronicles the making of Bruce Springsteen’s 1982 “Nebraska” album when he was a young musician on the cusp of global superstardom (starring Jeremy Allen White as The Boss), struggling to reconcile the pressures of success with the ghosts of his past. Taped on a 4-track recorder in Springsteen’s New Jersey bedroom, the album marked a pivotal time in his life & is considered one of his most enduring works—a raw, haunted acoustic record populated by lost souls searching for a reason to believe. Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere is directed by acclaimed American filmmaker Scott Cooper, director of the films Crazy Heart, Out of the Furnace, Black Mass, Hostiles, Antlers, and The Pale Blue Eye previously. The screenplay is also written by Scott Cooper, based on the book “Deliver Me from Nowhere” by Warren Zanes. It’s produced by Cooper, Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, Eric Robinson and Scott Stuber. 20th Century Studios will release Cooper’s Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere film in theaters nationwide starting on October 24th, 2025 this fall.
