24 October 2025

Isabelle Tate died from a rare form of a neurological disorder.

Isabelle Tate has passed away

The 9-1-1: Nashville actress passed away on Sunday (19.10.25) and her representative has now confirmed she “passed away peacefully” as a result of Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, a group of inherited conditions which cause nerve damage.

The McCray Agency wrote on their Instagram Story: “Isabelle ‘Izzy’ Tate had a rare form of Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease. She passed away peacefully on the 19th of October.

“The family requests privacy as they deal with this sudden and shocking loss.

“Izzy recently returned to acting and booked episode 1 of 9-1-1 Nashville which filmed in June and first aired October 6th.

Information about the disease Izzy suffered from can be found at link.

“In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Izzy’s memory be made.”

The McCray Agency had earlier paid a heartfelt tribute to the late TV star.

The company said on Instagram: “We are deeply saddened and completely heartbroken to share that Isabelle Tate passed away on October 19th. She was 23.

“I’ve known Izzy since she was a teenager and she recently returned to acting. She booked the first series she auditioned for, 9-1-1 Nashville. She had a wonderful time. Special thanks to @fincannonmark @shelbay9 for casting her and @caroline_locorriere for that wonderful encouragement and nudge back to the acting world. Also to Lora Sorrentino for making her set experience a good one.

“My heart goes out to her wonderful mother @katerinataterealtor, her sister Daniella, family and friends. I was so lucky to know her and she will be greatly missed by so many. [broken heart and dove emojis] (sic)”

Isabelle – who was confined to a wheelchair – was remembered as the “life of the party”.

An obituary reads: “Isabelle was full of fire, a fighter, never once making excuses for the fact that she might have a disability relative to others.

“She was also quite musically inclined, often spending hours writing and recording songs with friends and even publishing a few.

“What she loved the most though was spending time with family and friends, always the life of the party. Her sister was her best friend and her mom was her shining beacon of light.”

The actress previously revealed she had been diagnosed with the condition when she was 13.

She wrote on Instagram in 2022: “This has been a difficult journey for me because having to accept help and surrender to the progression of this condition has been extremely hard. While I was trying to come to terms with this, I really did find that I lost myself in certain ways. I hated that it was not only breaking me down physically, but I was allowing it to also break down my spirit.

“I would’ve never expected something like this to happen to me, as most of us wouldn’t. I don’t know why these were the cards I was dealt in life, but I can’t change it so I’m choosing to embrace it and not let it define me.”

Ace Frehley’s Cause of Death Investigation Under Way

by jummy84 October 23, 2025
written by jummy84

Following the death of founding KISS guitarist Ace Frehley last Thursday at age 74, the Morris County, New Jersey medical examiner’s office is conducting a series of exams to determine the rocker’s cause of death. According to TMZ, a rep for the examiner’s office said that though an autopsy was not performed on Frehley’s body, the guitarist know for his on-stage Spaceman persona is undergoing a toxicology screening as well as an external body examination to determine how he died; the final cause of death will not be announced until after the toxicology report is completed, which could take several weeks.

At press time a spokesperson for the medical examiner’s office had not returned Billboard‘s request for confirmation on the TMZ report.

Frehley’s family announced his death last week in a statement, writing, “We are completely devastated and heartbroken. In his last moments, we were fortunate enough to have been able to surround him with loving, caring, peaceful words, thoughts, prayers and intentions as he left this earth. We cherish all of his finest memories, his laughter, and celebrate his strengths and kindness that he bestowed upon others. The magnitude of his passing is of epic proportions, and beyond comprehension. Reflecting on all of his incredible life achievements, Ace’s memory will continue to live on forever!”

At the time, TMZ reported that Frehley had been on life support after suffering a brain bleed following a fall at home several weeks earlier. The rock star had canceled a planned performance at the Antelope Valley Fair in Lancaster, California, after suffering what at the time was described as a “minor fall … resulting in a trip to the hospital.” A statement on his Instagram at the time said Frehley was “fine, but against his wishes, his doctor insists that he refrain from travel at this time.”

Less than two weeks later, Frehley’s team announced that he would be canceling all of his remaining appearances for this year “due to some ongoing medical issues.”

Frehley co-founded KISS in 1973 in New York along with singer/guitarist Paul Stanley, basist/singer Gene Simmons and drummer/singer Peter Criss. He remained a core member of the greasepaint rockers’ lineup through 1982 and later returned for the band’s blockbuster reunion tour in 1996, staying on through 2002.

The group known for their elaborate, glittery costumes, character makeup and bombastic rock anthems released some of its most successful albums during Frehley’s tenure, including 1977’s Love Gun and Alive II, both of which charted in the top 10 of the Billboard 200.

“We are devastated by the passing of Ace Frehley,” read a post from the band following Frehley’s death. “He was an essential and irreplaceable rock soldier during some of the most formative foundational chapters of the band and its history. He is and will always be a part of KISS’s legacy. Our thoughts are with Jeanette, Monique and all those who loved him, including our fans around the world.”

KISS will be honored at the 2025 Kennedy Center Honors taping on Dec. 7 — and airing Dec. 23 on CBS — with Frehley becoming be just the third person to receive the honor posthumously.

Limp Bizkit to continue with tour next month as details emerge on Sam Rivers’ death

by jummy84 October 22, 2025
written by jummy84

Limp Bizkit will reportedly go ahead with their forthcoming tour dates, despite the death of bassist Sam Rivers – further details of which have now emerged.

Rivers, who founded the band with Fred Durst in 1994, passed away last Saturday (October 18). He was 48 years old.

Paying tribute online, Limp Bizkit wrote: “Sam Rivers wasn’t just our bass player – he was pure magic. The pulse beneath every song, the calm in the chaos, the soul in the sound.”

Frontman Durst later shared an emotional video message, where he called Rivers a “legend, truly”. He added: “Such a gifted, unbelievably sweet and wonderful person.”

A cause of death was not disclosed at the time. Yesterday (Tuesday October 21), TMZ reported that Rivers had suffered a cardiac arrest on October 18, and was “nonresponsive”.

“Deputies responded to an attended death at that address,” a spokesperson for the St. Johns County, Florida Fire Rescue told the outlet.

An “attended death” is when a person is already suffering from a life-threatening illness. Rivers had worn a “Fuck Cancer” T-shirt while performing with Limp Bizkit this year. However, the official cause of death currently remains unknown.

Additionally, it appears that Limp Bizkit are set to go ahead with their upcoming scheduled live shows. Their ‘Gringo Papi Tour’ with Yungblud, Riff Raff and more is scheduled to kick off in Mexico City on November 29.

Further dates are lined up across South America, with stops in San José, Bogotá, Lima, Santiago, Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo.

As The PRP reports, promoters for the Mexico City concert issued the following statement: “Limp Bizkit has decided to continue with its performance on November 29th at the Explanada Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, as part of its ‘Gringo Papi Tour‘ 2025.”

The message added: “That night, every riff and every scream of the crowd will resonate in honor of the great legacy Sam offered to to Nu-Metal, because his energy will never cease.”

Rivers’ final performances with Limp Bizkit took place at Reading & Leeds 2025 in August. The bassist had temporarily departed the band in 2015, before returning to the line-up in 2018.

In 2020, Rivers revealed that his exit five years earlier had been due to liver disease as a result of “excessive drinking”.

“I quit drinking and did everything the doctors told me,” he said. “I got treatment for the alcohol and got a liver transplant, which was a perfect match.”

Durst’s recent video tribute saw him recall meeting Rivers in the 1990s, when he was trying to put together a band in Jacksonville, Florida. He said he saw the musician “killing it on the bass” with another band in a small bar. “I went, ‘Oh my gosh, this guy is amazing’,” he continued.

He later added: “It’s so tragic that he’s not here right now, and I’ve gone through gallons and gallons of tears since yesterday. And I’m thinking, gosh, Sam’s a legend, you know? He did it, he lived it.”

More Details Emerge on Limp Bizkit Bassist Sam Rivers’ Death

by jummy84 October 21, 2025
written by jummy84

More details are surfaced regarding the death of Limp Bizkit bassist Sam Rivers. Meanwhile, the band has vowed to carry on with its upcoming tour.

TMZ has reported that authorities in St. Johns County, Florida, responded to a call this past Saturday, October 18th, for a “nonresponsive person in cardiac arrest.” The St. Johns County Sheriff’s office has not yet determined a cause of death, but deputies noted that their response was part of an “attended death” call, meaning that the deceased individual had been battling a serious or life-threatening illness with death as an expected outcome.

The new details shed light on the state of Rivers health when he passed. The 48-year-old bassist had recently been seen wearing a “Fuck Cancer” shirt while performing onstage, leading fans to speculate that he had been battling the disease. Limp Bizkit bandmate DJ Lethal also posted a photo of Rivers performing in the T-shirt with the hashtag #fuckcancer following Rivers’ passing.

Several years ago, Rivers underwent a liver transplant after suffering from liver disease due to excessive drinking. In Jon Wiederhorn’s 2020 book Raising Hell (Backstage Tales From the Lives of Metal Legends), Rivers recounted, “It got so bad I had to go to UCLA Hospital and the doctor said, ‘If you don’t stop, you’re going to die. And right now, you’re looking like you need a new liver.’ I fought liver disease for a couple years and it won. I had to get a liver transplant in 2017.”

As for Limp Bizkit, the band appears to be carrying on with its upcoming concert dates — a Latin American run with Yungblud, 311, and more that kicks off November 29th at the Explanada del Estadio Banorte in Mexico City. The promoter of that show broke the news in a statement on Monday (via The PRP), revealing that “Limp Bizkit has decided to continue with its performance on November 29th,” implying that the nu-metal vets will complete the seven-show jaunt as planned.

Limp Bizkit announced the death of Rivers on October 18th. Frontman Fred Durst later posted an emotional tribute video, stating, “It’s so tragic that he’s not here right now, and I’ve gone through gallons and gallons of tears since yesterday, and I’m thinking, ‘Sam’s a legend.’”

21 October 2025

Two more men have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder, in relation to the death of Ian Watkins.

Two more men arrested after Ian Watkins death

The former Lostprophets frontman – who was serving a 29-year sentence for a string of child sex offences – was fatally injured during an incident at HMP Wakefield in West Yorkshire on the morning of October 11th.

Rashid Gedel, 25, and 43-year-old Samuel Dodsworth have been charged over the killing, and they are on remand awaiting trial, but now two other men, who are aged 23 and 39, have been arrested.

West Yorkshire Police Detective Chief Inspector James Entwistle said: “Extensive enquiries remain ongoing in relation to the murder of Ian Watkins and these arrests form part of that.

“Ian Watkins’ family are being updated as the investigation progresses.

“However, we do not anticipate any immediate developments at this stage.”

The police added that both men are “in police custody and will be interviewed over the course of today, they will then be bailed and returned to prison while enquiries continue”.

An inquest in Watkins’ death is due to open on Friday (24.10.25) at Wakefield Coroner’s Court.

Police and paramedics were called to the prison after the paedophile singer was reportedly ambushed and fatally injured after a knife attack.

Watkins was pronounced dead at the scene.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: “At 9.39am this morning, police were called by staff at HMP Wakefield reporting an assault on a prisoner. Emergency services attended and the man was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.

“Detectives from the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team are investigating and inquiries remain ongoing at the scene.”

A Prison Service spokesperson added in a statement: “We are aware of an incident at HMP Wakefield which took place this morning. We are unable to comment further while the police investigate.”

Watkins, 48, was jailed in December 2013 for 29 years after admitting to a string of sex offences – including the attempted rape of a fan’s baby.

The disgraced musician was caught in 2012 following the execution of a drugs warrant at his home in Pontypridd, Wales, where a large number of computers, mobile phones and storage devices were seized by police.

Analysis of the equipment revealed Watkins’ depraved behaviour.

Jane Goodall’s Cause Of Death Revealed

by jummy84 October 20, 2025
written by jummy84

Dr. Jane Goodall, the pioneering primatologist, chimpanzee researcher and animal-welfare advocate, died of cardiac arrest, TMZ reports, citing her death certificate from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.

Goodall’s death was announced Oct. 1 by The Jane Goodall Institute, which revealed Goodall passed away of natural causes while on a speaking tour in California. She was 91.

Born on April 3, 1934, in London, Goodall would later say that a toy chimpanzee she received as a child was the start of her fascination and love for the animal, a toy she kept throughout her life. She was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Joe Biden early this year after being a presence on television for decades.

She was the subject of Jane, a 2017 feature-length documentary that was nominated for seven primetime Emmys and won two, for Brett Morgen’s directing and for cinematography. It also won a PGA Award and was named Best Documentary by the National Board of Review, among many other accolades.

Goodall was 26 in 1960 when she traveled from native England to what is now Tanzania and ventured into the little-known world of wild chimpanzees. It was the start of more than 60 years of groundbreaking work in a male-dominated field. She emphasized the need to protect chimps from extinction while redefining species conservation to include the needs of local people and the environment.

Later she became a familiar face on intercontinental television. Her hundreds of TV appearances over the decades began with guesting on The David Frost Show in 1970. Three years later, she was featured in the TV documentary special Jane Goodall and the World of Animal Behavior: The Wild Dogs of Africa. Other specials would include Jane Goodall: A Life in the Wild (1990) and Jane Goodall: My Life with the Chimpanzees (1995). Just between 2004 and 2005, she appeared in three TV specials: Jane Goodall’s State of the Great Ape, Jane Goodall’s Return To Gombe and Jane Goodall: When Animals Talk.

More recently, she teamed with Leonardo DiCaprio on Howl, a live-action film about a dog and wolf’s survival journey told from the animals’ perspective.

Limp Bizkit bassist Sam Rivers was open about his past health issues before he died. About a decade before the 48-year-old musician’s death, Rivers revealed he had undergone a liver transplant. However, his cause of death has not been revealed at the time of publication.

In honor of Rivers, Limp Bizkit members Fred Durst, Wes Borland, John Otto and DJ Lethal penned a joint Instagram statement, announcing their late bandmate’s death. The nu metal musicians called Rivers their “brother” and “heartbeat” while highlighting his talent.

“In Loving Memory of Our Brother, Sam Rivers,” their statement read. “Today, we lost our brother. Our bandmate. Our heartbeat. Sam Rivers wasn’t just our bass player — he was pure magic. The pulse beneath every song, the calm in the chaos, the soul in the sound.”

Learn about Rivers’ past health setbacks below.

Sam Rivers’ Cause of Death

Rivers’ cause of death was not immediately disclosed. In their public tribute, Limp Bizkit rehashed their memories with Rivers and vowed to “carry” him with them.

“From the first note we ever played together, Sam brought a light and a rhythm that could never be replaced,” the statement read. “His talent was effortless, his presence unforgettable, his heart enormous. We shared so many moments — wild ones, quiet ones, beautiful ones — and every one of them meant more because Sam was there. He was a once-in-a-lifetime kind of human. A true legend of legends. And his spirit will live forever in every groove, every stage, every memory. We love you, Sam. We’ll carry you with us, always. Rest easy, brother. Your music never ends.”

What Health Issues Did Sam Rivers Have?

Rivers left Limp Bizkit in 2015 when he developed liver disease from alcoholism. In Jon Wiederhorn’s book Raising Hell (Backstage Tales From the Lives of Metal Legends), the bassist and backup vocalist explained what he went through.

“I got liver disease from excessive drinking,” Rivers said. “I had to leave Limp Bizkit in 2015 because I felt so horrible, and a few months after that I realized I had to change everything because I had really bad liver disease,” Rivers acknowledged. “I quit drinking and did everything the doctors told me. I got treatment for the alcohol and got a liver transplant, which was a perfect match.”

Was Sam Rivers Married With Children?

It’s unclear whether or not Rivers was married or had any children when he died. The late musician kept his personal life private.
