bitchy | Princess Kate repeated a Catherine Walker coat for a solo Armistice Day event

by jummy84 November 12, 2025

The Princess of Wales was out today on a scheduled event for Armistice Day (Veterans Day here in America). She visited the National Memorial Arboretum, and this was her first solo event in a month or longer. Kate was the “senior royal” sent to observe a moment of silence for veterans. This job usually goes to a “blood royal,” but there are so few of them around these days, this event is left to the married-ins. Um, where the hell is William?

Kate wore a repeat – she’s worn this Catherine Walker coat to Remembrance Sundays in years past. I call this one her Sgt. Pepper coat because of the tassels and chest embroidery. During her outing on Sunday at the Cenotaph, I noted that Kate’s eyebrows look somewhat crazy right now. You can see it again in these photos. Is she just filling them out too much? What’s going on there?

It’s also noteworthy that Queen Camilla was out this morning too. Cam stole Kate’s thunder on Armistice Day! Camilla visited the London Paddington train station as part of the ‘Poppies to Paddington’ event.

Mashd N Kutcher Serves Up McHappy Day 2025 Anthem

by jummy84 November 12, 2025
written by jummy84

Mashd N Kutcher’s next tune is a banger for a good cause.

The APRA Award-winning electronic music act dishes up the official tune for 2025 McHappy Day this Saturday (Nov. 15), the biggest annual fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) in Australia.

The bouncing cut captures the voices of children and their families staying at Ronald McDonald House in South Brisbane, and works in the iconic “ba da ba ba ba” jingle over keys, drums, funky electric guitar and a soaring synth line.

“This song means a lot to me. Visiting the team and families at Ronald McDonald House was truly inspiring – their positivity, resilience and the way they support each other is incredible,” comments Mashd N Kutcher lead Matt James.

“Seeing the kids light up while playing instruments, sharing laughs and even singing the Macca’s jingle was magic,” he adds. “It was a privilege to bring a little fun into their day, and I think that magic shines through in the track. I hope it makes people smile and inspires them to get involved and donate to McHappy Day this Saturday.”

The track is live on Mashd N Kutcher and McDonald’s Australia’s social channels and will play in the burger chain’s 1,000-plus restaurants nationwide on the big day. Stream it, and watch footage of MNK’s visit to Ronald McDonald House below.

James knows more than most about the healing powers of music. The classically-trained Brisbane artist was diagnosed in 2023 with cancer, Multiple Myeloma, which forms in blood cells inside the bone marrow. A year later, in 2024, James and MNK made a roaring musical return with the full-length album Legacy.

It’s not the first MNK tie-in with Maccas. The lads sizzled with 2022’s “Ultimate Mix,” the music treat to accompany McDonald’s McFlurry with Cadbury’s, celebrating what was the chocolate specialist’s 100th year as an Australian favorite.

Since launching in 1991, McHappy Day has raised over A$79 million ($51 million), helping more than 69,000 families every year through RMHC, by funding various programs.

There’s a Gary Cole for every TV fan. Now, he’s leading an ‘NCIS’ Veterans Day special

There’s a Gary Cole for everyone.

There’s a Gary Cole for every TV fan. Now, he’s leading an ‘NCIS’ Veterans Day special

Whether you know him from “The West Wing” or “Veep,” “The Good Wife” or “Office Space,” “Dodgeball” or “Midnight Caller,” you most likely know his face.

For a while he was the “hero of the schoolyard” with his daughter’s classmates for appearing in “Cadet Kelly” alongside Hilary Duff. These days, though, it’s his role as Alden Parker on the long-running CBS crime procedural “NCIS” that has him stopped in the street.

Centered on the U.S. Navy’s investigative unit in Washington, D.C., the show is currently airing Season 23.

“It’s pretty powerful, that impact,” says Cole of the program’s devoted broadcast audience. “So a lot of people have followed the show and they have followed it, some of them, forever,” he adds.

Cole’s character was brought in during Season 19 to run the team after Leroy Jethro Gibbs left. In a Veterans Day special, a first for the franchise, “NCIS” and “NCIS: Origins” will cross over with back-to-back episodes Tuesday. A historical mystery in “Origins” — featuring a guest appearance from Harmon on the show that follow Gibbs’ early career — will find its way to the modern day on “NCIS,” which airs directly after.

The Associated Press spoke to Cole about the success of the show, the real service members he’s met and those classic “NCIS” freeze frames. This conversation has been edited for clarity and brevity.

COLE: I didn’t really look at the effect of how big or small the audience would be, because today things are much different. I mean, nothing has kind of the large, overwhelming impact that television shows of 25 years did in terms of their audience, where you could be swallowed up by just one image.

…

I’m old enough to say that I was on television when, here in the States, there were three channels. That was it. Those were your choices. And once they were on and then rerun once, maybe twice if you were lucky, they really were gone.

Now … if you look hard enough, you can find pretty much anything you’ve done your whole career. It’s being broadcast somewhere.

COLE: Not so much a show. There’s probably a few network movies of the week, we used to call it, that I kind of cut my teeth on.

…

By that I don’t mean choice of material, although that was part of it too. But it was just kind of a laboratory to get comfortable in front of a camera without a lot of — if you’re on a series and it’s successful, your visibility is just there. If you’re doing a lot of learning and making mistakes and correcting them, you don’t want to do that on a weekly basis in front of everybody.

COLE: They didn’t want him to be similar to Gibbs. They certainly wanted, you know, they wanted somebody that you could buy as a leader. Our old producer, who has retired since, had a great line about, kind of, just an inside joke about the show, which is that: In the original “NCIS,” all the kids were eager to please the father, meaning Gibbs, right? They were like wondering what his reaction was going to be and would they be, you know, under the gun if they made a mistake or made a wrong move? There was a little bit of, you know, apprehension around him. And so now he flipped it and said, what if the father were to leave? And the crazy uncle shows up? And how are they going to react to them? And they’re not quite sure at first, like, “What is the story with this guy?” … And I liked that.

COLE: We’ve got a great tech guy with us named Mike Smith who has set up numerous field trips and interactions. Katrina and I visited an aircraft carrier about a year and a half ago and spent the day on what they call family day. … And we actually go to sea and they proceeded to do what they do and show us literally planes landing, planes taking off. And we got to see things that normally, you know, civilians wouldn’t see. And just to be with the sailors and interact with them. A lot of them knew the show. A lot knew other stuff I had done. We visited a real NCIS office out here in California.

COLE: They were very curious, but mostly about character stuff. They weren’t even worried about procedurals because they know, you know, it’s a television show, right? So, but, what I realized when I went in there, this is funny: Don’t tell anybody this, but I said, I looked at them and their average age, the guy that was leading them was probably 20 years younger than me. And every agent was barely 30 years old — if. So I was like, you know, based on this, if this is the reality, I should have retired 15 years ago.

COLE: No. We joke about them, they call them, what do they say? They call it a poof movement, or a poof moment. “Oh, that’s definitely gonna be a poof. You’re gonna get a poof.” POOF.

…

You know, somebody’s gonna choose it. And it’s certainly not gonna be me or anybody else in the cast, that is going to be in charge of figuring out where your poof movement is. So best to leave it to higher minds.

COLE: This might be mythological lore, I’m told that there is a sound that goes with that, right? That is, when it’s frozen? I’m told, I don’t know that I believe this, but that that is actually the voice of Don Bellisario, the original creator, into a microphone with reverb on it, where he just went, “poof.” Now, you can believe what you — let the internet go crazy now.

I was told that, and I have no reason not to believe it, you know, because I call Sean Murray the show historian, because he’s been there for 23 years, and I think he’s the one that told me that. I always forget who told me what, but you know, I’ll blame it on him.

The Girlfriend box office collection day 4: Rashmika Mandanna’s film maintains momentum with the surge of positive word of mouth.

The Girlfriend box office collection day 4: Rashmika Mandanna and Dheekshith Shetty’s much-awaited film, The Girlfriend, finally released in theatres on Friday and opened to largely positive reviews from the audience, but mixed reviews from critics. Now, after a decent weekend, the film has managed to maintain its momentum on its first Monday.

The Girlfriend box office collection day 4: Rashmika Mandanna’s film fails to maintain momentum.

The Girlfriend box office performance on first Monday

According to Sacnilk, the film saw growth over the weekend, collecting ₹2.4 crore and ₹2.7 crore on Saturday and Sunday, respectively, due to good word of mouth. However, it saw a slight drop on Monday and collected ₹1.10 crore. Now, the film’s total stands at ₹7.50 crore.

The Girlfriend had an overall 18.55% Telugu occupancy, with 14.61% in morning shows, 22.55% in afternoon shows and 18.49% in evening shows. The film is also facing tough competition from Yami Gautam and Emraan Hashmi’s Haq in the Hindi belt.

About The Girlfriend

Written and directed by Rahul Ravindran, it tells the story of postgraduate student Bhooma Devi (Rashmika), who is gaslighted into falling in love with Vikram (Dheekshith), the college stud. She soon finds herself in a toxic situation she cannot seem to extract herself from. Produced by Dheeraj Mogilneni and Vidya Koppineni, the film also features Anu Emmanuel and Rao Ramesh in key roles.

Talking about directing Rashmika and Dheekshith, filmmaker Rahul told HT in 2024, “The amount of faith she has given me as a director… the way she has dived in and given her everything, it has been an absolute pleasure to work with her. I am good at ensuring that my actors have a comfortable working environment, and I adapt to work with them. But with Rashmika, our natural instincts just fit well together. Dheekshith is so motivated and driven that having him on set has been a joy.”

Haq box office collection day 4: Yami Gautam and Emraan Hashmi’s courtroom drama has been receiving unanimous positive word of mouth.

Haq box office collection day 4: Yami Gautam and Emraan Hashmi’s Haq was released in theatres on Friday, and has seen a rise in its box office performance in the first weekend. The film was met with a positive response from fans, with word of mouth spreading rapidly over social media. Haq is inspired by the life and legal battle of Shah Bano Begum, whose landmark 1985 case led the Supreme Court to grant divorced Muslim women the right to maintenance.

Haq box office collection day 4: Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam in a still from the film.

Haq box office

As per the latest update on Sacnilk, Haq showed a slight dip on Monday, and managed to collect ₹ 1.00 crore, as per early estimates. The dip is expected on a working day, and yet Haq has shown momentum at the box office. The total collection of the film now stands at ₹ 9.95 crore. The film had a decent opening on Friday and showed 100% growth on Saturday. Sunday was also met with similar growth.

Yami reacted to the organic growth of the film because of the hype created by the good reviews. She said on her X account, “The power of ‘Word of mouth’ .No foul-play or any gimmicks. Straight from our hearts to the audience. Even from trade & media perspective, I feel a lot of positivity that they want a film like ‘ HAQ’ to be a success. It’s a rarity & I shall cherish this moment for life (folded hands emoticon)”

About Haq

Haq revolves around Shazia (Yami Gautam), a homely, uneducated woman who marries Abbas Khan (Emraan Hashmi), a successful advocate. One day, out of the blue, Abbas brings home a second wife. Not long after, he ends their marriage through triple talaq. Shazia’s legal fight for her rights forms the rest of the film. Haq, directed by Suparn S Varma, also features Vartika Singh, Danish Husain, Sheeba Chadha, and Aseem Hattangady in prominent roles.

The film is inspired by the life and legal struggle of Shah Bano Begum, whose landmark case in 1985 led the Supreme Court to grant divorced Muslim women the right to maintenance. The Madhya Pradesh High Court had dismissed a petition filed by Shah Bano Begum’s daughter, seeking a stay on the release of the film.

Rod Wave Arrested on Fir*arm & Dr#g Charges in Atlanta the Same Day He Earned His 1st Grammy Nod

Rod Wave was arrested in Georgia on dr*g and weapon charges on the same day he received his first-ever Grammy nomination, according to Fulton County jail records and a statement from his attorneys. The 27-year-old rapper, whose real name is Rodarius Green, was taken into custody in Atlanta on Nov. 7, 2025, and booked into the Fulton County Jail. He was released the following day after posting an $8,000 bond.

Jail records show Green is facing four charges: possession of a fire#rm or knife during the commission of or attempt to commit a felony, reckless driving, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance — one listed as Schedule II and one as Schedule V.

In a statement to multiple outlets, Green’s legal team criticized the circumstances of the arrest, saying the rapper “was unjustly profiled and unlawfully arrested in Atlanta.” They alleged the arresting officer is part of the Atlanta Police Department’s Crime Suppression Unit, which they described as “a group known for its aggressive tactics and emphasis on high arrest numbers rather than genuine public safety.” The attorneys further called the arrest “a quota-driven approach” and said they intend to challenge it.

The arrest came just hours after Rod Wave earned his first Grammy nomination — in the category Best Song Written for Visual Media for the track “Sinners,” from the 2025 film of the same name. Despite his legal issues, he is still scheduled to launch “The Redemption Experience Tour” in December, beginning in Los Angeles.

This is the rapper’s third arrest in Georgia in 2025, following earlier incidents in May and June, though his attorneys have previously maintained his innocence in those cases.

Junglee Pictures’ HAQ Sees 100% Jump on Day 2, Box Office Collections to Double Up on Sunday

by jummy84 November 8, 2025
written by jummy84

Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam Dhar starrer HAQ is making waves at the box office. After registering a promising opening on day one with a collection of Rs.2.03 crore, the film showed a 100% jump on day 2 of its theatrical run. HAQ has found universal love among audiences across the country, and the numbers are expected to jump another 100% from Saturday’s collections.

HAQ is showcasing similar trends to Vikrant Massey’s 12th Fail, an authentic film that performed excellently after strong word of mouth and positive reviews began pouring.

Directed by Suparn Varma, HAQ stars Emraan Hashmi, Yami Gautam Dhar and it also features Vartika Singh making her debut with the film and powerhouse performers Sheeba Chaddha, Danish Hussain, and Aseem Hattangady. It explores themes of the Uniform Civil Code, Triple Talaq, and gender equality before the law. Written by Reshu Nath, produced by Junglee Pictures, in association with Insomnia Films and Baweja Studios, HAQ is currently running in theatres.

HAQ

Audiences have been reacting positively to the movie. The initial reactions for the movie opened up about the strong plot and intense performances from Emraan and Yami. During an exclusive interview with Filmfare, Yami said, “Today, we’re having larger conversations about these things, and that’s a good thing. The kind of roles being written for women are evolving, and audiences are welcoming. Audience never discriminates. I feel like a small part of this ever-evolving phase of cinema.”

Our reviewer gave the movie 4.5 stars. He commented, “Haq is a reminder that clarity, reason and moral courage can indeed be cinematic. Watch it for its sincerity, for its grace, for its argument but above all, watch it for the performances that give this battle a beating, breathing human heart. And watch it because it believes that the Indian woman, regardless of faith, deserves the Constitution as her shield, not the mercy of men.”
