Nara Smith & Her Husband Announce The Arrival Of Baby No. 4

by jummy84 October 13, 2025
written by jummy84

Whew! Y’all, just when we thought the Smith household couldn’t get any fuller (or cuter), Nara and her hubby, Lucky Blue Smith said, “Hold our baby bottles!” The internet’s favorite Pinterest-core parents are now officially a party of SIX, and yes—the vibes are serene, aesthetically pleasing, and just a little bit too perfect (in true Nara fashion.)

RELATED: Congrats! TikToker Nara Smith Reveals She Is Expecting Baby #4 With Husband (VIDEO)

Nara Smith Just Gave The Most Aesthetic Baby Reveal You’ll See

On October 11, Nara Smith and her husband Lucky Blue Smith hopped on Instagram to share the sweet news of their fourth baby’s arrival. In a heartfelt joint post, the couple let fans know that their baby girl has officially made her debut—without giving too much away. The announcement came with a soft, dreamy video montage that only the Smith’s could pull off with the caption, “she’s here! welcome to the world little angel.”

From Nara cradling her newborn with that effortless glow, to Lucky Smith having a full-on girl dad moment, and their three kiddos surrounding their new sibling—we can’t lie, it was giving wholesome overload. As expected, the name of their little one remains a mystery (y’all know Nara keeps it soft-launch chic), but one thing’s for sure: this baby just entered the world with a whole vibe already curated.

Nara Launches Scavenger Hunt Right After Giving Birth

Not Nara turning motherhood into a mystery movie trailer! After the dreamy soft launch of baby no. 4, the social media star came right back with another aesthetic overload—this time asking fans to guess the baby’s name, claiming there are “clues” in the video. From marble showers to pampers, self-care shots, box braids, and her rocking a floral dress like she’s about to drop a folk album, the montage gave vibes, but also had the TL screaming, “Girl, where’s the clue?!”

Cuteness So Strong, Even The TL Had To Pause!

Fans cartwheeled into The Shade Room comment section with all kinds of theories about what Nara and Lucky Blue named their newest little angel—because let’s be real, with their track record, it’s bound to be whimsical, poetic, or straight out of a fairytale. While some folks are just genuinely happy for the couple, others are deep in detective mode, scrubbing every frame of the duo’s video like it holds the Da Vinci code. Whether it’s analyzing background music, nursery colors, or a blink-and-you-miss-it embroidered blanket, the streets are convinced the name reveal is hidden in plain sight.

One Instagram user @porschedollface joked, “Marble Rain Shower“

This Instagram user @buttascotch_ said, “‘A clue in the video’ girl that can be anything based on the previous names 😂”

Instagram user @ogcrashout_1 added, “After the 4th you gotta be like oh that’s nice😂😂”

And, Instagram user @sua_ve wrote, “I bet he be like ‘d*mn this food was good, let’s have another baby’“

Meanwhile, Instagram user @macherie_chay said, “The names yall coming up with are wild & can absolutely also be that baby’s name at the same time😂”

While Instagram user @ye.vs.yezzy commented, “Gotta be [named] Marble🎯‼️🥰🥰🥰”

Finally, Instagram user @dominiquechinn said, “Love they continue to grow their family. They are married, happy, and living their best lives with their growing family. Love this ❤️”

Today’s announcement falls on the 30th anniversary of Tragic Kingdom, the band’s seminal album from 1995 featuring “Just a Girl,” “Don’t Speak,” and many more hits. Revisit Jill Mapes’ Sunday Review of the LP.

The Smashing Pumpkins Announce 30th Anniversary Edition of Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness

by jummy84 October 2, 2025
written by jummy84

The Smashing Pumpkins have announced a 30th anniversary edition of their seminal double album Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness.

The new expanded edition will be available November 21st as a 6-LP super deluxe edition and on January 9th as a 4-CD box set. Each contains the original tracklist along with 80 minutes of previously unreleased and recently unearthed recordings from the 1996 tour in support of the album.

“Unearthing these live recordings from the original lineup’s true, last large-scale tour was a labour of love, and for me certainly a bittersweet as once we blew apart in 1996, we were never quite the same: be it emotionally, or spiritually,” commented frontman Billy Corgan in a press release. “Thankfully, I can say this as the band is now enjoying our greatest public success since that time, and one can hear in these tapes the raw power that such nascent faith afforded us, then, and the will and wisdom to persevere that followed.”

The 6-LP deluxe vinyl box set also includes a hardbound book featuring new liner notes by Corgan, a custom tarot card deck, and seven lithographs in a velvet slipcase.

In addition to the expanded reissue, Corgan will also be celebrating the album’s anniversary with a seven-concert collaboration with the Lyric Opera of Chicago in November. Dubbed “A Night of Melon Collie and Infinite Sadness,” these shows will see Corgan performing newly commissioned arrangements and orchestrations he made alongside conductor James Lowe. Corgan will be joined by soprano Sydney Mancasola, mezzo-soprano Zoie Reams, tenor Dominick Chenes, and baritone Edward Parks. Dates include November 21st, 22nd, 25th, 26th, 28th, 29th, and 30th. Get tickets here.

Moreover, the Pumpkins are collaborating with Chicago-based chocolatier Vosges Haut-Chocolat on a limited-edition chocolate box set containing a limited-edition poster and six chocolate bars inspired by Mellon Collie songs.

You can pre-order the Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness reissues via uDiscovermusic. Check out the product photos, CD tracklist, and a newly unearthed live recording of “Geek U.S.A.” below.

Yo La Tengo and Jad Fair Announce Strange but True Reissue

by jummy84 October 1, 2025
written by jummy84

Yo La Tengo and Jad Fair have announced a reissue of their rare 1998 collaborative LP Strange but True. Long out-of-print and unavailable to stream, the album will be released on vinyl, CD, and, for the first time, digital platforms. All versions are set to arrive December 12 via Joyful Noise and Bar/None. Listen to “Texas Man Abducted By Aliens for Outer Space Joyride” below.

The songs on Strange but True are titled after headlines from the periodical Weekly World News, which were gathered by David Fair, Jad Fair’s brother and bandmate in Half Japanese. “When I started as a musician, I just wanted to sound like myself,” Jad Fair said in a press statement. “You would think that would be the easiest thing to do, but, for most people, it’s difficult.”

Yo La Tengo shared their latest studio album, This Stupid World, in 2023. They followed it up with an EP, Old Joy, earlier this year.

Dry Cleaning Announce New Album Secret Love, Share New Song: Listen

by jummy84 September 29, 2025
written by jummy84

Dry Cleaning are back with another new album. The London-based post-punk band will release Secret Love, their upcoming third LP, on January 9 via 4AD. They’re ringing in that news today by sharing the lead single “Hit My Head All Day,” which you can listen to below.

“The song is about manipulation of the body and mind,” explains singer Florence Shaw. “The lyrics were initially inspired by the use of misinformation on social media by the far right. There are powerful people that seek to influence our behavior for their own gain; to buy certain things, to vote a certain way. I find it hard to read people’s intentions and decide who to trust, even in everyday life. It’s easy to fall under the influence of a sinister stranger who seems like a friend.”

Secret Love is Dry Cleaning’s third studio album, following 2023’s Stumpwork. The four-piece fleshed out the 11-track album over a series of sessions around the world, beginning with a stop at Jeff Tweedy’s Chicago studio The Loft, and louder takes with Gilla Band’s Alan Duggan and Daniel Fox at Dublin’s Sonic Studios. In the end, Dry Cleaning tapped Cate Le Bon to produce the album, heading out to France’s remote Black Box to record with the experimental indie rock figure.

Dry Cleaning still have a handful of upcoming concerts on their docket as part of their ongoing 2025 tour. After a headlining set at Brooklyn’s Warsaw on October 2, the band will perform in Madrid, Barcelona, Brighton, London, and more European cities.

Revisit the Rising interview “Dry Cleaning’s Everyday Surrealism” and read about their debut New Long Leg at No. 50 in “The 100 Best Albums of the 2020s So Far.”
