Alex Warren is hitting the road on his first arena tour in the United States and Canada — with Jennifer Aniston’s approval. Aniston portrays a judge in a comedic sketch promoting Warren’s upcoming concert trek, the Little Orphan Alex Live Tour.

Warren — who just received a Grammy nomination for best new artist — appears in court in a short video premiering alongside an announcement of new tour dates on Friday (Nov. 14); his co-stars include Aniston, Max Greenfield and a child acting as a particularly entitled version of little orphan Annie. The clip is a continuation of a bit he started when announcing the European leg of the tour.

“You are here today because little orphan Annie is suing you, preventing your U.S. tour from happening,” Judge Aniston says to Warren in the scene’s opening, which then has a young redhead going by “Annie” accusing “that little b—-” (Warren) of “stealing my whole brand.”

“I can’t control the fact that both my parents are dead,” Warren says.

Not to worry — the tour will go on! Parodying a dramatic twist, Greenfield strolls in to reveal some pertinent information that’s in favor of Warren’s defense.

“MY FIRST ARENA TOUR!!! presale wednesday and general sale next friday at 10am… see you soon,” Warren wrote in an Instagram post that features the promo clip.

Warren’s 2026 tour begins at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on May 25 and runs through July 15, when he’ll take the stage at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.

Ticket presales for Verizon customers and for Citi cardmembers both launch at 10 a.m. local time on Tuesday, Nov. 18 for select shows. For the Verizon presale, more information is available in the MyAccess section of the My Verizon app, or can be found here. For details on the Citi presale, visit the Citi Entertainment website here. (Citi is the official card of the Alex Warren Presents: Little Orphan Alex Live Tour.)

There will be an artist presale on Wednesday, Nov. 19. Fans should register in advance here for access to this presale, and set an alert for 10 a.m. local time to get tickets. VIP packages will be available at this time.

In partnership with PLUS1, Warren is giving $1 from every ticket sold to Camp Kesem, which provides free camp and programs to children whose parents are fighting cancer.

Warren’s debut album, You’ll Be Alright, Kid, reached No. 5 and charted in the top 10 on the Billboard 200 for 13 nonconsecutive weeks this year. The set features his Hot 100 No. 1 hit “Ordinary,” plus his singles “Eternity,” “Bloodline” featuring Jelly Roll, “On My Mind” featuring Rosé and “Burning Down” with Joe Jonas.

More information on purchasing tickets can be found on Warren’s official website.

Scissor Sisters announce huge UK outdoor shows for summer 2026

by jummy84 November 14, 2025
written by jummy84

Scissor Sisters have announced some huge UK outdoor shows for next summer.

Dubbed ‘The Kiki Continues’ tour, the shows will see the New York band perform live at London’s Brockwell Park on May 31, before continuing with a stop at Ludlow Castle in Shropshire on July 26.

The rest of the new dates all take place the following month, and include gigs in Saffron Walden, Scarborough and Halifax on August 6,8 and 9 respectively. They wrap up the shows with a final night at the Queens Park Recreation Ground in Glasgow on August 30.

These new shows add onto the handful of festival dates the band have lined-up for the UK over the summer – including a headline slot at London’s Mighty Hoopla, Hampshire’s Boomtown Fair, and Cornwall’s Rock Oyster Festival.

Tickets for the outdoor headline gigs go on sale next Friday (November 21) at 10am. Visit here for tickets and check out a list of tour dates below.

Scissor Sisters’ 2026 UK outdoor shows are:

MAY
31 – London, Brockwell Park

JULY
26 – Ludlow Castle

AUGUST
6 – Saffron Walden, Audley End
8 – Scarborough, Open Air Theatre
9 – Halifax, Piece Hall
30 – Glasgow, Queens Park Recreation Ground

While the band have not shared an album of new music since 2012’s ‘Magic Hour’, they did share a standalone single called ‘Swerlk’ with MNDR in 2017, as well as reissue their self-titled debut album in 2024, and follow that up with a ‘Deluxe Expanded’ version earlier this year.

They also supported Kesha on her recent run of across North American shows, and celebrated their 20th anniversary by heading out on tour and playing a huge slot at Glastonbury, bringing out Sir Ian McKellen as a special guest.

Towards the end of 2024, singer Jake Shears and bassist Babydaddy also spoke to NME about the tour dates planned for 2025, and how it felt to be described by some as a “gay band”.

When asked if it “grated” them to have that label, Shears replied: “It did, yeah. I was looking at our straight counterparts, and, I had a bit of resentment that we sort of had this extra label that made it easier for some [people] to dismiss us. I think I had a bit of a chip on my shoulder about that.”

Babydaddy agreed, saying: “It’s a lot less loaded now, but in that moment, I think there was a question of, like, ‘Are people saying that to put [the band] in its own little box?’ I don’t really know what it was supposed to say, except that we were open about who we were, and there were some themes [in our music] that were definitely queer themes.”

Little Feat Announce Final Tour, Share New Song With Inara George: Listen

by jummy84 November 13, 2025
written by jummy84

More than half a century after forming, roots-rock stalwarts Little Feat have announced the start of their final tour. The Last Farewell Tour kicks off in April with shows across the southern United States, though the band have confirmed a global tour to follow. Scroll down to see Little Feat’s full list of tour dates.

“Playing is the joy and satisfaction of touring, but it comes with the hard part—travel, the endless miles on a bus,” Little Feat shared in a statement. “It’s definitely not an absolute, never-gonna-play again statement.  This wind-down will take several years to accomplish, and while it does, Feat will continue to perform and record as long as they are able. It’s a retirement from the travel of touring.”

The Last Farewell Tour’s lineup will feature founding keyboardist Bill Payne alongside guitarists Fred Tackett and Scott Sharrard, bassist Kenny Gradney, percussionist Sam Clayton, and drummer Tony Leone. Paul Barrere, the band’s longtime guitarist and singer, died in 2019.

Little Feat shared their latest album, Strike Up the Band, earlier this year. Alongside the tour announcement, they’ve shared “Feathers and a Smile,” a song written by the band’s late co-founder Lowell George and sung by his daughter, Inara George. Listen to it below.

Refused members announce debut album as Backengrillen with menacing single ‘A Hate Inferior’

by jummy84 November 12, 2025
written by jummy84

Members of Refused have launched a new project, Backengrillen, and announced their self-titled debut album. Listen to the single ‘A Hate Inferior’ below.

  • READ MORE: Refused tell us about their final tour, winning over fans from ‘The Bear’ and the future of hardcore

The Swedish hardcore punk outfit are due to play their final-ever live shows next month, following a recent run of last dates in the UK and Europe.

When announcing their farewell gigs, Refused revealed that a new group had “been born within the band”. Now, it’s been confirmed that Backengrillen will release their debut album on January 23, 2026 via Svart Records (pre-order here).

The experimental project features three out of four Refused members (singer Dennis Lyxzén, bassist Magnus Flagge and drummer David Sandström), as well as the non-Refused saxophonist Mats Gustafsson.

“Backengrillen’s music is a paean to chaos and destruction,” the band explained in a statement. “The basic idea is to take a death/doom metal, or noiserock riff and play it until it loses meaning and then break it apart like a ravenous cat would a tiny forest mouse.”

They went on to describe the LP as being “filled to the brim with the self-hatred endemic to the province of Västerbotten from whence the members hail”.

“The record was written on a Thursday during their first ever rehearsal, performed live on a Friday and recorded on a Saturday, so what you’re hearing is raw, stupid, gut instinct music played by seasoned purveyors of hardcore punk, metal, free jazz, noise et cetera,” the outfit continued.

Backengrillen confirmed that their second album was already “in the making”, describing it as “less stupid, more ugly”. They added: “Stay tuned and fuck the pigs.”

The band have previewed their five-track debut with a menacing 10-minute single, ‘A Hate Inferior’. Tune in above.

The tracklist for Backengrillen’s self-titled debut album is:

1. ‘A Hate Inferior’
2. ‘Dör För långsamt’
3. ‘Repeater II’
4. ‘Backengrillen’
5. ‘Socialism Or Barbarism’

Sandström had previously explained that the members wanted to be in “a band with no baggage, no fans to please, limited only by our wildest musical hopes and dreams”, adding: “We’re very excited about getting around to taming this new wild beast.”

Backengrillen previously played live together in early 2023.

Refused’s final-ever dates will take place in Sweden, with performances scheduled for Gothenburg, Norrköping, Stockholm and Umeå next month. These are set to follow a run of gigs in Australia.

Speaking to NME at Mad Cool 2025 this summer, Sandström explained: “We have other plans for our future, and Refused doesn’t fit in there.”

Lyxzén elaborated: “What we’re doing with Refused is very physical and quite demanding. I already feel like it’s pushing it. In 10 years, I’ll be 62, and that’s not a good look to try and prance around in tight pants.”

The band also discussed the future of the hardcore scene, and how featuring on The Bear’s soundtrack had won them some new fans. Watch the video interview in full below.

Refused’s winter 2026 Sweden dates are:

DECEMBER
11 – Gothenburg, Sweden – Pustervik (with Division Of Laura Lee and Spøgelse)
12 – Gothenburg, Sweden – Pustervik (with Rome Is Not A Town and Darla_
13 – Norrköping, Sweden – Arbis (with Fireside and Lost Faith)
17 – Stockholm, Sweden – Fallan (with Abhinanda and Twin Pigs)
18 – Stockholm, Sweden – Fallan (with Youth Code and Harrowed)
19 – Umeå, Sweden – Vaven (with Youth Code, Left Hand Of Darkness and Millencolin)
20 – Umeå, Sweden – Vaven (with Fireside, Mattias Alkberg, Top 10 Babies and Deppa)
21 – Umeå, Sweden – Vaven (with Abhinanda, Final Exit, Nix and Dream Warriors)

KISS Announce Massive 50th Anniversary ‘Alive!’ Box Set

by jummy84 November 7, 2025
written by jummy84

KISS, technically, retired this year, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still rock and roll all night with the greasepaint and pyro legends. The band announced the upcoming release of a huge box set celebrating the 50th anniversary of their landmark Alive! concert album.

Explore

See latest videos, charts and news

The Super Deluxe version of the album will feature 4 CDs + Blu-Ray audio, an Alive! track list t-shirt with 120 tracks, including 88 previously unreleased tracks. The first CD features the original album on one disc for the first time ever, newly remastered from the original 1975 stereo analog master tapes. In addition, CDs two and three will feature two full-length concerts from the 1975 Dressed to Kill tour at the RKO Orpheum Theatre in Davenport, Iowa on July 20, and the Wildwood Convention Hall in Wildwood, N.J. on July 23, newly remixed by the legendary engineer Eddie Kramer from the original multi-track analog tapes with no overdbubs.

The fourth CD will pull together five rehearsal tracks from the Davenport show, including an impromptu jam and another six songs from Cleveland Music Hall in Cleveland, Ohio on June 21, 1975, remixed by Kramer from the original multi-track recordings. The Blu-Ray audio disc will contain a new Alive! mix from Kramer from the original album multi-track analog tapes in Dolby Atmos and Dolby TrueHD 5.1 surround, as well as newly remastered stereo in 192 KHZ 24-bit and 96 KHZ 24-bit PCM stereo set to a new visualizer with unreleased photos and tape box images.

The Super Deluxe version ($400.48) has a number of other extras, including a 100-page hardcover book with extensive liner notes by Ken Sharp and new interviews with singer/guitarist Paul Stanley, bassist/singer Gene Simmons and other notable Alive!-era KISS team members, as well as a number of unreleased photos and rare images. In addition, it will fold in an Alive! 1975 press kit with: four black and white glossy photos, an Alive! tour program, album cover lenticular, t-shirt iron-on, four live color glossy photos, a Peter Criss drum head litho, a number of concert posters, ticket stubs and backstage passes, coasters, guitar picks, bumper stickers and a track-by-track interview with Kramer discussing nearly all the tracks in the collection.

The anniversary edition will also come in a 4-CD box set version with a t-shirt ($287.55), a deluxe picture disc edition with sweatshirt ($251.89) and a premium color vinyl version with a sweatshirt ($125.98). All the editions are slated to ship on Nov. 21, with Kiss Army members eligible for pre-order now here.

Alive! was KISS’ fourth album and their first live LP, as well as a kind of standard-bearer for live rock albums going forward. Though they’d released three albums by that point, the band rose to a new level of fame thanks to the double concert album that collected songs from the theatrical group’s 1974 self-titled debut, as well as that year’s Hotter Than Hell and 1975’s Dressed To Kill, including such future stone-cold live staples as “Deuce,” “Strutter,” “Firehouse,” “Black Diamond,” Cold Gin” and “Rock and Roll All Nite.” (Click here for a taste of Sharp’s extensive history of the making of Alive!)

The album features the indelible work of late founding guitarist Ace Frehley, who died last month at the age of 74 following injuries from a fall in the studio. Frehley will become only the third person to receive the Kennedy Center Honor posthumously when KISS collect the award at a ceremony slated to tape on Dec. 7 and air on CBS on Dec. 23.

After more than a decade of partnership delivering innovative mobile experiences for many of the world’s largest events including Salesforce Dreamforce, Adobe MAX, Workday Rising and Cisco Live, Eventbase and GPJ are expanding their collaboration to bring Activate and MagicBadge™ to live events globally.

On November 12, 2025, Eventbase and GPJ will host an exclusive VIP experience at Event Tech Live London called “Find Your Flock”, showcasing a special MagicBadge™-enabled networking experience designed to connect attendees in a personalized and meaningful way.

Beyond the VIP experience, all Event Tech Live London attendees will be able to use their MagicBadge™ embedded within the official event mobile app, powered by Eventbase. With MagicBadge™, attendees can effortlessly exchange contact information as a smarter way to connect. They will also be able to experience the technology firsthand through a live demonstration at the Eventbase booth (D34) and see how Activate and MagicBadge™ can trigger a personalized digital experience on an attendee’s phone and on digital screens throughout the event venue.

“We’re excited to be collaborating with experiential marketing leaders GPJ as we bring Activate and MagicBadge™ to some of the world’s largest events in 2026,” says Jeff Sinclair, CEO at Eventbase. “With our customers tapping GPJ’s creativity and thought leadership, I cannot wait to see the event experiences they create with this powerful new technology.”

“MagicBadge puts frictionless, personalized, and deeply human event experiences in the palm of your hand,” says Ken Madden, SVP, Global Head of Technology & Innovation at GPJ. “It removes barriers to connection and unlocks insights that empower us to craft immersive, unforgettable moments throughout the entire audience journey.”

Ken Madden and Jeff Sinclair are presenting a session on “The Future of Personalized Digital Activations and Gamification at Events” at Event Tech Live London on Wednesday, November 12 from 2:40pm to 3:10pm at the Tech Talks Theatre. The session will explore how Eventbase and GPJ have collaborated on Activate and MagicBadge™, and the vision for how this unique real-time event experience product will elevate events starting in 2026.

“If you work in the live sector and sustainability is your thing, GEI is where it’s at.” Dale Vince OBE

The first speakers and key agenda topics have been announced for the 18th edition of the Green Events & Innovations Conference (GEI18), which will take place at the Royal Lancaster London on Tuesday, 24th February 2026.

The internationally renowned conference is where music, sport, and cultural events collectively tackle the topics that matter, from climate action and ecosystem restoration, to handling geopolitical pressures, misinformation, and culture wars.

Returning to GEI to explain what it’s like being a black belt in both green comms and putting words into action is Dale Vince OBE, founder of the world’s first green energy company, Ecotricity, and chair of the world’s greenest football club, Forest Green Rovers FC. Dale will be joined by Claire O’Neill, co-founder of their joint venture Grid Faeries, and CEO of AGF, to discuss removing diesel from events alongside many other pressing topics.

Continuing the energy theme and following AEG Europe’s recent announcement regarding their green energy agreement with Ecotricity to supply all their UK venues, GEI will showcase the Live Entertainment Energy Scheme (LEES), a partnership between Ecotricity, LIVE, AGF, and Music Venue Trust, which allows venues and all live sector buildings to access deep green energy at a fraction of the cost whilst simultaneously creating renewables.

Exploring how art can resonate beyond words, GEI18 hosts a discussion giving insight into TAKKUUK, an immersive installation and soundtrack that showcases indigenous life, culture, and climate change in the Arctic, created by BICEP and featuring indigenous artists. EarthSonic, In Place of War, Ninja Tune and the creators contribute to this impressive and moving session.

And the topic of AI and sustainability will make its way onto GEI’s agenda for the first time in 2026. Dr Teresa Moore, GEI co-founder and head of AGFe (A Greener Future Education), will join chair Adrian Bossey and researchers from the Association of Event Management Educators to discuss issues around the social, economic, and environmental impacts of AI on the events industry from a sustainability perspective.

Whilst the focus of GEI is on preventing harm and making the world a better place, adaptation to climate change and the shifting tides is essential. GEI18 will welcome climate change expert Professor Richard Betts MBE from the Met Office to examine the latest climate science, impact on events, and what degree of preparedness is needed. And Artur Mendes returns to provide insight into one of Europe’s most inspiring music events for biodiversity restoration and wider sustainability – Boom Festival in Portugal.

Virgo Sillamaa from European Music Exporters Exchange will share the research findings from the Better Live project, which looks into tour co-programming as a way to decrease carbon footprint mobility while creating smarter tours for artists. The research aims to better understand how culture and sustainability co-exist (or not) in policy across six European countries.

And EarthPercent return as our charity partners, with the ever star-studded and inspiring EarthPercent Hour the icing on the plant-based cake of the conference programme. This will be followed by the sustainably grown cherry on the cake, the International AGF Awards 2026, sponsored by Skydiamond, in which we celebrate the greenest events and venues from across the globe.

The Quick-Fire Innovation Round, a firm favourite on the GEI programme, returns, giving a small selection of delegates the chance to pitch their innovative solution or product to future clients and peers. To apply, click here. Applications close on 15th December.

New for this year, GEI delegates can enjoy free access to London showcase festival Soho Calling on Wednesday, 25th February (the day after GEI) with a host of incredible artists performing at a plethora of great venues across central London. The event is organised by ILMC.

“It’s always very exciting to see the GEI programme gradually taking shape. We’re adding a new room this year, meaning more space for deep dives, as well as a host of new speakers, some previously untouched topics, plus Soho Calling! It’s an invigorating shake up for our 18th edition, and we look forward to sharing space with our fabulous delegates.”

Claire O’Neill

More sessions and speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.

GEI is the foremost conference for event sustainability. A partnership between green event pioneers A Greener Future (AGF) and the world’s leading platform for the live music and entertainment sector, the International Live Music Conference (ILMC), GEI18 is sponsored by Ecotricity Business, AEG, and The O2.
