Shah Rukh Khan fans are in for a treat as a lot of his iconic films will be released in the theatres starting October 31. And now, the actor has reacted to the same. Ahead of his 60th birthday on November 2, PVR INOX will be celebrating with a special film festival that will showcase the actors’ blockbuster films till date starting from October 31, 2025. This will be a two-week-long film festival that will run across more than 30 cities and approximately 75 cinemas.

SRK took to social media to share a montage of clips taken from his films such as Jawan, Main Hoon Na, Dil Se, Devdas, Chennai Express, Om Shanti Om, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa and wrote, “Some of my previous films are coming back to the theatres. I’m not denying or accepting anything right now. We focus on the story first and think about casting later. Thankfully, we don’t write scripts based on actors.” He added that the team strives to maintain honesty in filmmaking: “We make films for the audience. If we make a mistake, tell us on Instagram or anywhere else. We just want to keep it pure, like our first film, Stree.”

According to a Pinkvilla report, Alia is enthusiastic about partnering with Maddock for the project. A source revealed, “Alia has been in talks with Dinesh Vijan for a while. She’s loved a psychological supernatural thriller, which could be her next after Love And War. Talks are on, and things may be finalized by early 2025.”

Earlier reports also suggested that Shah Rukh Khan was approached for Chamunda alongside Alia. However, Bollywood Hungama reported that the actor declined, as he preferred to start a new cinematic universe with Maddock and Kaushik instead of joining an existing one.

Meanwhile, the latest MHCU film Thamma, featuring Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, recently hit theatres. The film introduced Aneet Padda as Shakti Shalini, replacing Kiara Advani in the role.

The romantic dramedy, which also stars Mamitha Baiju and Sarath Kumar in lead roles, had a strong opening weekend and maintained a decent hold during the weekdays. As it closes out the first week in theatres, let us take a look at how much the film has collected so far.

As per the latest update on Sacnilk, Dude has collected ₹ 0.74 crore on its eighth day of release. It is the lowest single-day collection for the film so far. This takes its India nett collection to ₹ 57.24 crore. It had a bumper opening day with ₹9.75 crore and performed very well during the first weekend, despite facing stiff competition from other Diwali releases, including Bison and Diesel.

Dude is expected to perform well during the second weekend, too, given that the word-of-mouth attention is still strong for the film. Overseas, the film has crosses the ₹ 100 crore mark, marking a hat-trick for Pradeep. The film has also surpassed the collections of Love Today (2022) and Dragon (2025), his previous releases.

Elli AvrRam On Body Count Comment And Trolling

Talking about how she handled the trolls, Elli said to Bollywood Bubble, “To be honest, I actually just laughed at it. I laughed at how people can be shallow and how certain human beings think. I feel I’ve matured in a way that I understand we can’t do much about it. Every person vibrates on a different level of consciousness — there are all kinds of people, and you cannot change them unless they want to change from within.”

Elli went on to explain that such comments often come from people who haven’t seen or experienced much of the world. She said, “What can I say? They need to live life and maybe meet someone like me to understand that there are different sides to every person.”

Concluding her thoughts, she added, “Abhi voh log toh aaise hi sochenge na mere bare mei. Somewhere in their head, they had a perception of ladkiya (girls) jo aaisi dikthi hai, aaisi deshose hai toh voh aaisi hai. They have to travel around the world, take their experience and realise that this is not the way to judge people.”
