Paparazzi blast Jaya Bachchan’s ‘gandi pant’ remark: ‘Apni self respect rakh ke, inki family ko boycott karte hain’

by jummy84 December 3, 2025
written by jummy84

Actor Jaya Bachchan’s hot and cold relationship with the paparazzi has been the subject of major chatter online. And on Monday, things heated up with her latest remarks.

Jaya Bachchan

Talking to journalist Barkha Dutt at an event, she was asked about her equation with paps, and she replied she has ‘zero relationship’ with them, “I am the product of a media. Who are these people? Are they trained to be representing the people of this country? You call them media? I come from media. My father was a journalist. I have immense respect, tremendous respect for such people.”

What she added next kickstarted a controversy, “Magar yeh jo bahar drainpipe tight, gande gande pant pehen ke, haath mein mobile leke… they think that because they have a mobile, they can take your picture and say what they want. And the kind of comments they pass — what kind of people are these people? Kahan se aate hain? Kis tarah ka education hai? Kya background hai?”

HT City reaches out to the paparazzos, and they are naturally angry.

Pallav Paliwal says, “It’s unfortunate, what she said. Her grandson Agastya’s film Ikkis is going to release, what if the paps don’t come to cover the promotions. Amitabh ji comes outside his house every Sunday, no leading media covers it, it’s us paps. Judging someone on the basis of their appearance, people who work tirelessly day and night… she might be of the opinion that we aren’t ‘media’, but we are social media. Print and electronic se zyaada fast dekhe jaane wala medium hai. If Jaya ji can promote Agastya’s film without paps, on her own, by posting on her social media pages, then okay. Aap itni badi hasti hain, aisa nahi bolna chahiye tha.”

Manav Manglani, who has been in the business for long, says, “I respect Jaya ji a lot. But she has not yet evolved with the digital era. The transformation from print to digital is hard for her to grasp, maybe her kids and grandkids could make her understand. At the same time, the sudden influx of some YouTubers and individual content creators with good followers has created some chaos in the field, these guys go to any extent to get some kind of response from celebs which would make their video viral, which is not ethical at all and needs to be stopped immediately.

Varinder Chawla says, “I have been in the business for so many years, and respected whenever the celebs said something. Ranbir Kapoor said to not pap Raha, same for Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s Dua. In 2023, in fact, I had got a video of Amitabh ji from Delhi. Ek fan selfie ke liye aage badhi, unhone bure tareeke se dhakka de diya, chillaye. Seeing his age and image, I sent it to his PR, who requested me so much to not post it, so I didn’t. Humne unki izzat rakhi. I am not saying all the boys on field are right, I have told them to mind their language earlier too. But she should know- the paps which she is targeting, are they all paps, or YouTubers and fans in the mix too? Kisi ko aise bura mat boliye. I told my colleagues apni self respect rakhte hain, aur inko boycott karte hain.”

Netflix Refutes Sean "Diddy" Combs Claims Over 'Reckoning' Docuseries

Netflix Refutes Sean “Diddy” Combs Claims Over ‘Reckoning’ Docuseries

by jummy84 December 3, 2025
written by jummy84

UPDATED with Netflix response: Less than a day after Sean Combs: The Reckoning debuted on Netflix, the Ted Sarandos-led streamer is taking Combs to task for claiming the docuseries executive produced by 50 Cent is an act of “corporate retaliation,” as Diddy lawyers allege.

“The claims being made about Sean Combs: The Reckoning are false,” a Netflix spokesperson told Deadline on Tuesday night.

In a cease-and-desist letter sent December 1, Combs’ attorneys insisted that failing to strong-arm the much accused and currently incarcerated Grammy winner to participate in a Netflix-controlled docu, co-CEO Sarandos turned to Diddy’s nemesis Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson in a “vindictive response.” With claims that 50 paid people to slag Diddy, the correspondence adds that damning pre-arrest footage of a seemingly scheming Combs from last year was “stolen.”

Today, as Combs looks to take formal legal action, the streamer says that’s all pure fiction.

“The project has no ties to any past conversations between Sean Combs and Netflix,” the rep added of Sarandos and Diddy’s professional relationship and any other docu project. “The footage of Combs leading up to his indictment and arrest were legally obtained.”

“This is not a hit piece or an act of retribution. Curtis Jackson is an executive producer but does not have creative control. No one was paid to participate.”

That’s pretty blunt, but still it seems there’s going to be a fifth episode to the four-part Reckoning — in court.

PREVIOUSLY, 3:19 PM PT: It turns out that the big man behind the scenes in the Sean Combs: The Reckoning saga isn’t Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson but Netflix boss Ted Sarandos, at least according to Diddy and his lawyers.

“Netflix chose Mr. Jackson as producer to punish Mr. Combs for refusing to play by its rules,” claims the December 1 cease-and-desist letter sent to the streamer’s top legal executive David Hyman by the incarcerated Combs’ attorneys over the four-parter docuseries that debuted today.

“In or about 2023, CEO Ted Sarandos proposed that Netflix produce a documentary about Mr. Combs. However, Mr. Combs rejected the proposal when Mr. Sarandos insisted he give up creative control,” the dense, four-page letter states of the latter, who attended the former’s 50th birthday party back in 2019. “Thus, the choice of Mr. Jackson to produce the Program was Netflix’s vindictive response to that rejection — an attempt by Netflix and Mr. Sarandos to ensure a one-sided character assassination, rather than a balanced and accurate portrayal.”

Putting the Reckoning and its damning portrait of Combs and his alleged crimes, rapes, violence against women, disregard for the law and more in the starkest light, the letter adds of Sarandos and Netflix’s supposed ploy: “It also ensured that a flagrant act of corporate retribution against Mr. Combs would be re-cast as one famous black man attacking another.”

If the swipe against Sarandos (which Combs’ team also did in a public statement Monday), Netflix’s alleged true motivations and 50 Cent (who does not pop up in any way in Reckoning) weren’t crystal-clear from those comments, perhaps this from the letter will set you straight:

Considering the numerous derogatory and, frankly, ludicrous allegations Mr. Jackson has levelled against Mr. Combs during his years-long vengeful crusade to injure him, Mr. Jackson’s unconcealed animus towards Mr. Combs, and our understanding, based on information and belief, that individuals are being paid to participate—and are therefore incentivized to cast Mr. Combs in the most unfavorable light—it is a virtual certainty that the Program will be replete with false and defamatory statements, as well intimate details, obtained and published in violation of Mr. Combs’ privacy rights and in breach of numerous non-disclosure and non-disparagement agreements about which Netflix and Mr. Jackson are (or should have been) aware.

A Combs foe long before the Bad Boy Records founder’s September 2024 arrest and this past summer’s trial for racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution, that 50 Cent has trolled Diddy relentlessly, no one could argue. As well as announcing just after Combs’ arrest that he would produce a docu on his rival, Power franchise EP 50 Cent also has gone public in trying to derail a Donald Trump pardon for the “freak-off” obsessed ‘I’ll Be Missing You’ performer after Combs’ July 2 conviction on  two lesser counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

Currently, with time served counted on his four-year sentence and an appeal on the criminal conviction underway, Diddy is behind bars(ish) at the cushy, low-security Fort Dix FCI in New Jersey. He is set to be released in June 2028. With a Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department probe opened on Combs last month over allegations of a 2020 sexual battery against a music producer, let’s just say a Trump pardon looks very unlikely at this juncture.

Despite accusing Netflix of having “stolen” (as that press release Monday said) and “copyrighted” (and pretty damning) pre-arrest footage of a scheming Combs, the Grammy winner’s Sher Tremont team clearly failed to get the Alexandria Stapleton-directed “hit piece” Reckoning pulled Monday before its Tuesday launch. In the December 1 letter, which cc’s Sarandos and Bela Bajaria and builds on a July 3 C&D letter on the same subject, Combs’ lawyers state, “As you are undoubtedly aware, Mr. Combs has not hesitated to take legal action against media entities and others who violate his rights, and he will not hesitate to do so against Netflix.”

That was before Sean Combs: The Reckoning hit the streamer in the early hours this morning.

Today, Combs’ reps told Deadline that “after watching the series and now knowing what is in it, Sean’s team is reviewing its legal options and will decide shortly how best to respond.”

Contacted by Deadline, Netflix –as it did Monday — had no comment on Combs’ legal threats.

As they did on December 1, the streamer run by Sarandos and Greg Peters, which is bidding to snag a big piece of Warner Bros Discovery right now, offered a week-old comment by director Stapleton. Specifically, the filmmaker was commenting on the BTS footage of Combs telling one of his lawyers “to find someone that’ll work with us that has dealt in the dirtiest of dirty business” to help turn the tide on the various claims against him. “It came to us, we obtained the footage legally and have the necessary rights,” Stapleton said of the September 2024 footage, which the much-accused Combs apparently wanted for his own documentary project.

As for Sean Combs: The Reckoning, turn down all the media and online noise and it is hard to tell how it is doing, even with a well-hyped and morning show-promoted launch. There are no viewing figures available as of today for Reckoning, however while it may not do Stranger Things 5 numbers, the series is expected to show up on Netflix’s domestic Top 10 chart on Wednesday. The four-parter’s international standing will be revealed next week.

Of course, by next week, this could have all gone way beyond cease-and-desist letters and CEO slagging and turned into a real legal showdown — the latest of many for Combs, who is facing literally dozens and dozens of civil suits on sexual assault, violence, drugging and more.

24 Best Cashmere Sweaters For Cozy Winter Dressing

by jummy84 December 3, 2025
written by jummy84

It’s peak sweater weather—time to break out the best cashmere sweaters! From Thanksgiving to about halfway through spring, it’s a required activity to bundle up on the couch, hot cocoa in hand, swaddled in a supersoft knit. Each year, cashmere transcends the trend cycle as a winter wardrobe essential. And knowing that closet space can be tight this time of year—coats and cardigans take up so much room—you’ll want to prioritize the stuff. The luxurious feel, serious warmth, and elevated look of these sweaters put them at the top of the pile.

As we gear up for winter, we suggest starting simple, whether it’s with a classic chunky crewneck or an oversized turtleneck that acts as the ultimate layering piece. And unlike what you’ve heard before, you don’t always have to break the bank to get your hands on the luxe material; these days, there are plenty of budget-friendly finds that don’t compromise on quality. As you lock in for cozy season, these are the best cashmere sweaters to wear all season long—each one a staple that makes even the most simple outfits feel elevated.

Best crewneck cashmere sweaters

Cashmere crewnecks are the ultimate foundational pieces. Luckily, the classic silhouette boasts an endless array of high-quality fabrications that are sturdy and plush, lasting years (or even decades) with proper care. We’re fans of luxury treats from Khaite and Ralph Lauren, but there are plenty of high-low favorites in the mix, too—Quince, Naadam, and Uniqlo pull through in the $100-and-under category. J.Crew’s well-made option, meanwhile, is a longtime favorite among fashion insiders. Style your cashmere crewneck with a collared button-down or white T-shirt peeking out, plus baggy jeans and your favorite boots.

Best cashmere cardigans

Contrary to the style’s granny-coded reputation, cashmere cardigans are very much en vogue. But beyond that, we’d suggest that they’re perhaps the most versatile winter piece you can own; they are primed to be thrown on at the last minute to upgrade even the most dire of outfit dilemmas. When your look is feeling a little bland, a colorful cardi instantly layered in or tied around the waist transforms it into something special. And worried a leather jacket isn’t quite warm enough on its own? A thin cardigan underneath will work wonders.

For a more fitted style, try our pick from State Cashmere; if you prefer a baggier fit that still feels sophisticated, we love the relaxed silhouettes from Reformation and Vince. For a preppy, polished vibe, you can layer your V-neck over a crisp button-down shirt, or leave it bare underneath and accessorize with stacked jewelry to emphasize the neckline.

Nothing beats a cashmere turtleneck when the temperature drops. Brace for the cold with luxurious options from Frame, Nordstrom, and Anine Bing that are cozy without feeling stuffy. We also love the versatility of more unconventional turtlenecks, like those with short sleeves or a featherweight style for layering. Gurinder Chadha on Priyanka Chopra’s Hands-on Parenting, Moments With Malti Marie – Exclusive

by jummy84 December 3, 2025
written by jummy84

Acclaimed filmmaker Gurinder Chadha recently spoke to Filmfare about her upcoming movie Christmas Karma. In an exclusive conversation, when asked about her close bond with Priyanka Chopra Jonas, she offered a rare and affectionate glimpse into the actor’s life as a mother. Chadha, who has known Priyanka for years, said one of the most delightful aspects of their friendship today is watching the star embrace motherhood so naturally and wholeheartedly.

“One of the loveliest things for me is to hang out with Priyanka as a mom,” Chadha said, as she described Priyanka’s daughter, Malti Marie, as an absolute joy. “Little Malti Marie, I mean what a gorgeous little thing. She is a Disney princess.” Chadha also shared that Malti is currently in her animated-film era. As in, she is shopping at the Disney store, collecting Moana merchandise, singing the songs and watching all the classic movies. “Lilo & Stitch is her favourite at the moment,” Gurinder added.

According to Chadha, Malti is lively, curious and constantly active. “She is a little treasure and it’s lovely to see Priyanka being a mom with her. She is so much fun. Malti is always doing something or the other, and Priyanka sometimes says, ‘It’s exhausting.’ I tell her, ‘I’ve been there. I know.'”

When asked if Priyanka is a hands-on mother, Chadha didn’t pause for a second. “Oh yeah,” she said emphatically. She recalled a lunch they had in New York, where Priyanka arrived with Malti despite knowing it would make it tough to talk about work. “She brought her anyway,” Chadha said with a laugh. “This little kid is controlling and ruling everything.”

What touched Chadha most was Priyanka’s preparedness and involvement. “She was bringing out crayons, colouring things. She was giving her dolls and building blocks. She had everything ready to keep the little one occupied. It is a lovely thing to see,” the Christmas Karma director added.

Priyanka Chopra

Chadha, a mother of twins, said she occasionally shares parenting advice with Priyanka. “Yes, I did give her tips. I am the authority, having had twins,” she joked. But beyond parenting, Chadha said their connection is deeper. “It is nice that we can speak as professional Indian women who work in the West, and also have an Indian heart and sensibility,” she noted.

Gurinder Chadha’s upcoming film, Christmas Karma, is releasing on December 12, 2025. Indian audiences can watch the movie in theatres, associated with PVRINOX Pictures.

‘Saturday Night Live,’ ‘Munsters’ Producer Was 82

by jummy84 December 3, 2025
written by jummy84

Craig Kellem, a onetime agent for comic legends George Carlin and Lily Tomlin who served as a producer on the chaotic first season of Saturday Night Live and on syndicated reboots of The Munsters, Dragnet and Adam-12, has died. He was 82.

Kellem died Nov. 24 at an assisted living facility in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, his daughter Judy Hammett told The Hollywood Reporter. She and her father were partners in Hollywoodscript.com, a boutique script-consultation company he founded in 1998.

After serving alongside Lorne Michaels as a producer and talent coordinator on SNL’s inaugural 1975-76 season, he and Michaels produced The Rutles: All You Need Is Cash, a 1978 NBC mockumentary about a Beatles-like band that was written by, co-directed and starred Eric Idle.

As a senior vp with the MCA-backed The Arthur Co., Kellem worked as a co-executive producer for two seasons (1989-91) on The Munsters Today, which ran for three years and starred John Schuck as Herman Munster and Lee Meriwether as his wife, Lily.

He also helped shepherd The New Dragnet, starring Jeff Osterhage and Bernard White, and The New Adam-12, starring Peter Parros and Ethan Wayne. Both shows aired for two seasons, 1989-91 and 1990-91, respectively.

Craig Charles Kellem was born in Philadelphia on Jan. 24, 1943. His father was Milton Kellem, a popular bandleader, songwriter (“Gonna Get Along Without Ya Now”), restaurateur and orchestra conductor for network radio programs, and his mother, Judy Shinn, was a model and a weather girl for local TV stations.

Kellem started out as an assistant at a talent agency, then became an agent with Creative Management Associates — where he was known as the “Road Runner of Madison Avenue” — and General Amusement Corp., where as a junior agent in the late 1960s he took on Carlin when others at the firm weren’t paying much attention to him.

He and Carlin reunited when the comic hosted the first episode of SNL.

“We almost didn’t get on the air because dress rehearsal went so poorly,” Kellem said in James Andrew Miller and Tom Shales’ 2002 book, Live From New York: The Complete Uncensored History of Saturday Night Live. “I remember Lorne seriously asking the network people — or having me ask them — to have a movie ready to go, just in case. And I don’t think he was kidding.”

Kellem had worked on the Sammy Davis Jr. syndicated talk show Sammy and Company and on NBC’s The Gladys Knight & the Pips Show earlier in 1975 before landing on SNL.

He later served as vp comedy development at Universal Television on such shows as Charles in Charge and Domestic Life and as a director of development for late night, syndication and daytime at 20th Century Fox Television.

His producing credits included the 1976 NBC special The Beach Boys: It’s OK, which featured concert footage from Brian Wilson’s return to the stage, and two more shows from The Arthur Co: the 1990-91 syndicated sitcom What a Dummy and the 1991-93 ABC reality series FBI: The Untold Stories, narrated by Pernell Roberts.

He and his daughter wrote the 2018 book Get It on the Page: Top Script Consultants Show You How.

Survivors also include his wife, Vivienne; son Sean; another daughter, Joelle; a brother; four grandchildren; and a niece and nephews. Donations in his memory can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

“Though Craig had many amazing traits, he was perhaps most known for his incredible sense of humor,” his family noted. “His ability to bring deep laughter into any room was a gift to all who knew him.”

Anne Hathaway will lead the upcoming A24 melodrama Mother Mary. The Devil Wears Prada actress and her co-stars wrapped filming last year, and the trailer for the movie was released in late 2025. In the film, Anne plays a pop star whose relationship with her former friend becomes complicated. Anne hyped up fans for the trailer’s release by sharing the posters to her Instagram in December 2025 alongside the mysterious tease, “This is not a ghost story. This is not a love story.”

Here, Hollywood Life breaks down everything we know so far about Mother Mary.

What Is Mother Mary About?

Mother Mary follows the titular character, a pop singer, who develops a psychosexual affair with her fashion designer Sam.

The official logline reads, “Long-buried wounds rise to the surface when iconic pop star Mother Mary reunites with her estranged best friend and former costume designer, Sam Anselm, on the eve of her comeback performance.”

The trailer opens with Anne in character as she takes the stage for Mother Mary’s highly anticipated comeback performance. The teaser cuts to her visiting Sam in need of a dress. The estranged besties clearly have unresolved beef as Sam tells Mother Mary that she’s refused to listen to her music for a decade.

“We’re reinventing you,” Sam is heard saying toward the end of the intense trailer, which shows snippets of bloody, gravity-defying and emotional moments with the titular character.

Can I Stream the Mother Mary Movie? How to Watch it

Viewers will not be able to stream Mother Mary immediately; A24 is releasing the film exclusively in theaters in April 2026. An exact release date has yet to be announced.

Who Is in the Mother Mary Cast?

In addition to Anne, the rest of the main cast of Mother Mary includes Michaela Coel as Sam Anselm and Hunter Schafer as Hilda.

Other cast members are Atheena Frizzell, Kaia Gerber, Jessica Brown Findlay, Isaura Barbé-Brown, Alba Baptista, Sian Clifford and FKA twigs.

A Celeb Makeup Artist’s Guide to Flawless Winged Eyeliner

by jummy84 December 2, 2025
written by jummy84

Ash K Holm is a Who What Wear editor in residence, a celebrity makeup artist and educator, and the co-founder of the luxury med spa Dripology.

Whenever I get asked what my signature look is, the answer is easy: I am all about winged eyeliner. It’s my go-to when I’m doing my own makeup and when I’m working with clients like Kim Kardashian, Lindsay Lohan, Kris Jenner, and Alix Earle. I love a winged look because it can be tailored based on eye shape and personal style. Subtle flicks, smudged-out wings, strong and bold lines—the options are endless! Whether you’re a seasoned pro or picking up a liquid eyeliner for the first time, here are my five foolproof tips for mastering a flawless winged-eyeliner look.

Here are a few winged eyeliner looks I’ve created for my celeb clients. They range from soft and subtle to bold and smoky. I love how versatile winged liner is!

1. Prep the Eye Area

Before I ever even reach for an eyeliner, I start with eye prep. Make no mistake. It’s just as important as skin prep! (Here’s my expert guide to all things eyecare.) I always start by cleansing the eye area with a dedicated eye wash or wipe to create a blank canvas. Once your eye area is clean and prepped for makeup, you can apply any eye shadow you like. Then, it’s on to eyeliner.

My go-to for prepping the eye area and for cleaning up any smudges or mistakes at the end.

2. Create a Customized Guide

I recommend creating a guide to work off of when creating a winged-liner look. First, let the outer corner of your brow dictate how high you should angle your liner. Imagine the eyeliner reaching up to meet the end of the brow. How long you make the line is up to you!

Next, if you’re just getting started with winged liner, I recommend applying a matte black or brown eye shadow as an outline. Doing this gives you more control and creates a template for where to apply your liquid or gel liner.

Once you have your guide, you can go in using a liquid or gel liner. Hold the pen or brush flat and at an angle, slowly dragging it along the outer corner of your lash line. Keeping the brush tight to the lash line will help you elongate your line.

I like to use shade N2 or N3 to create a guide for eyeliner. These shadows are super pigmented and velvety soft, giving you a lot of control.

3. Take Your Time (Winged Liner Is Never Rushed!)

A flawless winged-liner look requires patience, so take your time and go slowly. Tilt your head back and line along the lash line using short, featherlike strokes until all of them are connected. You’re basically pressing the liner on and slowly gliding it across. Trust me—patience is the key to precision!
