How to ace a dewy makeup look: A step-by-step guide to radiant, fresh-faced glow

by jummy84 December 2, 2025
written by jummy84

Dewy makeup has become one of the most sought-after beauty looks in recent years. It is fresh, youthful, and radiant look gives the impression of healthy, well-hydrated skin. Although doing dewy makeup appears effortless, achieving a luminous finish requires the right combination of skincare, perfect products, and application techniques. Whether you want a subtle, everyday glow or a high-shine, editorial finish, here’s a complete guide to mastering dewy makeup.

Get dewy makeup look with these tips(AI-Generated)

How to get dewy makeup look

Follow these skincare steps to get glowing skin, followed by dewy makeup tips:

1. Start with skin prep:

A dewy look begins long before makeup touches your face. The key is creating a smooth, hydrated base to add that glowy touch. According to dermatologist Dr Madhuri Agarwal, Founder and Medical Director of Yavana Skin and Hair Clinic, “Achieving dewy, glowing skin requires a focused and well-planned skincare approach. Start by identifying your skin concerns and consulting a dermatologist to build a simple yet effective routine that includes a cleanser, chemical exfoliant, targeted serums, and sunscreen. These products can be customised based on your skin’s needs.”

Cleanse gently: Use a non-stripping cleanser to avoid drying out your skin. Dewy makeup sits best on supple skin, not tight or over-cleansed skin.

Exfoliate regularly: Dullness is often caused by dead skin buildup. A gentle chemical exfoliant—like lactic acid or a mild AHA—removes that layer and reveals fresher skin beneath. Avoid harsh scrubs that can cause irritation, which can disrupt a luminous finish.

Hydrate deeply: Use a hydrating serum with ingredients like hyaluronic acid, glycerin, or niacinamide to plump the skin. Follow with a moisturiser that suits your skin type. Even oily skin needs moisture for a dewy look; choose a lightweight gel formula if you’re prone to shine.

Apply a natural-finish sunscreen: Sun Protection Factor (SPF) is non-negotiable. Opt for a dewy or satin-finish sunscreen to enhance your glow instead of mattifying it.

2. Use primer for glow

Primers help makeup apply more smoothly and also influence the finish. For a dewy look, select a radiance-boosting primer with light-reflecting particles or hydrating ingredients. Apply a primer to the high points of your face, the cheekbones, the bridge of the nose, and the chin, to enhance the natural glow.

If you have combination skin, you can use two primers: a hydrating primer on dry areas and a mattifying one on the T-zone to prevent excessive shine.

3. Choose the right foundation

The foundation you pick will make or break the dewy look. Heavy, matte formulas tend to emphasise texture and dryness, while light, hydrating bases give the skin a natural sheen.

Opt for these types of products:

  • A tinted moisturiser for a barely-there glow
  • Skin tints for sheer, breathable coverage
  • Dewy-finish foundations with light-reflecting ingredients

Apply foundation with a damp sponge or fingers; both techniques help the product melt seamlessly into the skin. For the most radiant finish, avoid heavy powdering; embrace the skin’s natural sheen.

4. Conceal strategically

Instead of covering your entire face, conceal only where needed: under the eyes, around the nose, or over blemishes. Use a creamy, hydrating concealer rather than a matte one. Blend well so it appears seamless and skin-like. This targeted approach keeps the complexion looking fresh instead of overdone.

5. Liquid and cream products are your best friends

Dewy makeup is all about products that enhance your skin’s natural luminosity. Powder products can dull the sheen, so opt for cream or liquid formulas.

Cream blush: Choose shades that mimic a natural flush—soft pinks, peaches, and warm corals. Apply to the apples of your cheeks and blend upward toward the temples.

Cream bronzer or contour: Look for balmy or gel-cream formulas that add warmth without texture. Apply lightly and blend to avoid harsh lines.

Liquid highlighter: Focus on the high points: cheekbones, brow bone, Cupid’s bow, and the bridge of the nose. For a subtle glow, mix a drop into your foundation or moisturiser.

6. Minimal Powder

While the goal is to glow, you don’t want to look greasy. Instead of dusting powder all over, apply a small amount only where needed. Apply it around the nose, under the eyes, and at the centre of the forehead. Use a finely milled, translucent powder and a light hand. The goal is to control shine, not eliminate the dewy effect.

7. Set with a dewy mist

Finish your makeup with a hydrating setting spray. These mists lock in makeup while boosting radiance. They prevent powder from looking cakey and help all layers melt together.

At the end, dewy makeup celebrates natural skin; hydrated, luminous, and full of life. With the right prep, glowing base products, and thoughtful finishing touches, you can achieve the radiant look, whether for everyday wear or a special event. Focus on hydration, choose creamy formulas, and remember: glow comes from within, and makeup simply enhances it.

Beyond makeup: Lifestyle tips for dewy skin

Apart from these makeup tips, Dr Agarwal adds that in-clinic dermatological treatments can help address deeper concerns and improve overall skin tone and texture. She suggests a healthy diet, going to bed early, and drinking enough water every day. Staying hydrated supports liver function and helps regulate hormones.

She also recommends incorporating regular exercise and stress-relieving practices into your routine. “One of the simplest ways to boost your natural glow is through proper breathing and mindfulness. Meditation and yoga poses like Pranayama and Anulom Vilom help improve blood circulation and reduce stress.”

Hot Pilates Founder Shannon Nadj Shares the Rituals Keeping Her and Hollywood’s It-Girls Grounded and Glowing

Well-rounded wellness is in. Hot Pilates founder Shannon Nadj sat down with ET to mark the 11th anniversary of her heated Pilates studio in West Hollywood, California, and to share the rituals she’s prioritizing as she heads into 2026.

The celebrity instructor behind the sculpted silhouettes of Hailey Bieber, Kendall Jenner, Shay Mitchell, Lori Harvey, Sofia Richie, and Selena Gomez has been expanding her approach to offer a true mind-body-soul destination.

“We truly believe workouts are just one part of the bigger picture when it comes to wellness. One of the core principles of Pilates is the mind-body connection, which to me means nurturing our inner world just as much as our outer one,” Nadj explains.

CPR/BACKGRID

Lately, her focus has shifted towards pairing movement with restorative rituals by offering sound baths and co-hosting events with lymphatic drainage hot spot Sous La Los Angeles, conveniently located right next door to her heated and reformer Pilates spaces.

“I’ve been taking care of my mental health by focusing on breath work, meditation, and slowing down. … Sound baths support our well-being on a cellular level, while services like those from Sous La align with our philosophy of intentional self-care.”

Still, Nadj never strays far from the signature sweat and glow that put her fitness destination on the map.

“Prioritizing movement helps us age gracefully and stay strong enough to keep doing the things that bring us joy. Beyond the physical benefits, maintaining a routine builds discipline, and over time, that turns into confidence we can carry with us far beyond our workouts. … Plus, releasing endorphins is like getting a natural boost from our body’s own pharmacy.”

Right now, that means prioritizing low-impact, high-reward workouts that deliver strength without spiking stress.

“I’m currently loving low cortisol workouts with heated mat Pilates and reformer classes,” she says.

And once she leaves, Nadj’s commitment doesn’t slow down. Instead, it simply shifts into a cozier version of TLC.

Jesse Alexander

“I use the hyperbaric chamber at Remedy Place, Normatec compression boots a few times a week to help with inflammation, and do dry brushing in the winter to help with circulation and dry skin. For my face, I use the Celluma LED red light therapy mask, and I keep a humidifier in each room because it gets so dry in L.A.”

The Pilates pro is equally intentional about how she fuels her body.

“I follow an anti-inflammatory meal plan and take TruNiagen supplements and Peptides BPC157 at Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Group for inflammation and muscle tissue recovery. I’ve never felt better,” she shares.

Avatar: Fire and Ash first reactions are in as critics single out “unimaginable” and “bold” sequel filmmaking

by jummy84 December 2, 2025
written by jummy84

The first wave of reactions have arrived for Avatar: Fire and Ash ahead of the release of the third entry in James Cameron’s epic sci-fi franchise later this month – and early signs suggest the new film could be another winner.

Although full reviews for the film are still under embargo for the time being, critics have begun posting their takes on social media, and the vast majority have been very positive so far.

“Three films in and I still can’t get over how magical the [Avatar] movies are,” wrote Perri Nemiroff of Collider, adding that Fire and Ash “truly feels like a ride.”

She continued: “I couldn’t believe how quickly I was pulled back into the world of Pandora and swept up in the situation. And once that happens, there’s a noticeable increase in complexity in quite a few aspects of the production.”

Critic Courtney Howard called the film “a glorious saga” and added: “Bold, brilliant & awesome in every way, this is what movie theatres were built for,” while writer Michael Lee claimed that it “pushes technical boundaries in unimaginable ways”.

Avatar: Fire and Ash 20th Century Studios

Chris Killian of ComicBook.com wrote that the film was a “damn good James Cameron movie!” and continued: “What else do you need to know? Go see it in 3-D in the best theatre you can find because it’ll blow your mind. That’s what JC does. Every bit as gorgeous as you’d expect, Fire and Ash is also easily the most INTENSE Avatar movie yet.”

Some viewers noted that the film would work best as a double bill with previous entry The Way of the Water, suggesting that it might be best to rewatch that one before going to see the new film.

“It feels like a Part 2 of that story,” wrote YouTuber Adam Hlaváč. “I was blown away by the visuals, the score, and many performances. But goddammit, you gotta see this thing in Dolby 3D! It’s unreal how immersive it is.”

Jesse Hassenger added that it was: “The first James Cameron sequel that feels kinda like a regular follow-up rather than an innovative re-envisioning of its predecessor’s world,” but added that “it also just casually drops ~3-4 of the best/coolest action sequences of the year and I was rapt the whole time.”

Read more:

While most of the reactions skewed very positive, a couple of them did also come with one or two reservations. For example, Eric Goldman wrote that while it was “another visually fantastic epic” and that “Cameron delivers spectacle like no one else”, he had “some issues with the third act and Way of Water remains the peak”.

Meanwhile, Matt Neglia of Next Best Picture wrote that while it “delivers the most emotional moments of the franchise” and is “the most epic in both scope and runtime”, the film contained “a few questionable choices” and was at times “frustrating”.

The reactions were pretty much unanimous in their praise for the visuals, but there were some critics who seemed otherwise unimpressed, with Variety’s Clayton Davis calling it the “most bloated entry yet”.

He added: “The dialogue often makes you cringe, and the story essentially devolves into an episode of My Two Dads meets James Cameron’s take on A Pyromaniac’s Love Story.”

Kaitlyn Booth also wrote that “story-wise, it’s the same ‘capture/rescue’ plot over and over again with some laughable dialogue thrown in the middle” adding that “the runtime is criminal, and if you have eye issues, avoid the 3D”.

The film arrives in UK cinemas on Friday 19th December, with Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Stephen Lang, Sigourney Weaver and Kate Winslet among the stars to reprise their roles from previous instalments and, Oona Chaplin, Edie Falco, and David Thewlis joining the cast.

The official synopsis teased: “A year after settling in with the Metkayina clan, Jake and Neytiri’s family grapples with grief after Neteyam’s death.

“They encounter a new, aggressive Na’vi tribe, the Mangkwan clan, also called the Ash People, led by the fiery tribe leader, Varang, who has allied with Jake’s enemy, Quaritch, as the conflict on Pandora escalates to devastating consequences.”

Avatar: Fire and Ash will debut in cinemas on Friday 19th December 2025 in the UK.

Redeemed the Heart of the Keetoowah: Lisa Christiansen Channels Five Generations of Genius in a Dazzling Heirloom

by jummy84 December 2, 2025
written by jummy84

Some art catches your eye. This catches your breath. Lisa Christiansen’s “Redeemed the Heart of the Keetoowah” is not the kind of thing you wear out of the house  unless you’re prepared to stop every crowd, hush every room, and maybe make a few people cry in the process. In an art world awash with spectacle, here is something different: a physical memory, a living elegy, a vibrant, heart-shaped flash of what it means to live awake inside your inheritance.

The story behind the piece is as intricate as its design. Christiansen’s artistry isn’t just technical mastery, although there’s enough of that in any inch of her work to stop even the most jaded expert. What truly sets this pendant apart is the gravity of her presence and the presence of those who came before her. Lisa Christiansen is the fifth great-granddaughter of Sequoyah, the man who gave the Cherokee Nation its written syllabary, giving an entire people continuity and voice when the world challenged their right to exist and persist. Legacy isn’t a marketing trope in her hands; it’s the spark that sets the gold singing.

And there’s so much gold, but not in the showy, overdone sense you sometimes see flashing beneath the spotlights at auction houses. The 24.5 grams at this pendant’s core are precious because of how Christiansen chooses to use them: not polished to the edge of anonymity, but left rustic, even wild the way nature, and heritage, intended. She draws out the gold’s original hues, its subtle irregularities, the memory of its hidden patient years in the earth. In her words, “Nothing discarded, nothing forgotten.” The process is painstaking, and every decision deliberate. She melts down, re-works, and saves each fragment. No cast-off sliver of gold or wayward flake is lost. In a very real sense, the artist redeems every bit of material, just as she redeems and honors her people’s fractured traditions through her craft.

A work like this practically refuses waste, and that’s not just about thrift. It’s about responsibility. It’s a principle driven by history  the Cherokee story is full of loss and endurance, of learning how to hold onto what matters no matter what you’re forced to leave behind. Christiansen’s care is a quiet act of defiance. She insists that value is never simply a matter of material, but of memory, effort, and meaning. The pendant is not just an object, but a philosophy, a testimony shaped from what other hands  less careful, less loving  might have thrown away.

There are diamonds, of course, bright as distant stars yet understated, as if the pendant is guarding some private knowledge. One .12 carat gem presides near the bail, winking at anyone curious enough to search for secrets. Turn the piece over as every good collector will  and you’ll find a reverse bail encrusted with .05 carats of smaller diamonds that catch stray light in ways that seem almost accidental, almost mischievous. It’s a reminder, maybe, that true value often asks for more than a first glance.

But then there’s that unmistakable heart: the 34.5-carat Ithaca Peak turquoise, cut not with brute force but with reverence, transformed into a heart that is both symbol and spirit. Turquoise from Arizona’s legendary Ithaca Peak is a prize in itself, treasured by jewelers for its deep blue hues shot through with a rare, golden pyrite matrix. To Indigenous peoples, especially those of the Keetoowah, turquoise is sacred: a stone for healing, dignity, and protection. Here, Christiansen treats it as a living thing, never letting a single chip go to waste as she shapes it into the bold emblem at this pendant’s core. It’s the kind of work that suggests conversation not conquest  between earth and artist. You feel, seeing it, that the stone consented to be changed only because it trusted the one holding it.

Christiansen’s heritage gathers around this moment. The heart is more than decorative it’s an idea, a plea, a homecoming. It stands in for the Keetoowah spirit: enduring, wounded, resilient. For centuries, the Keetoowah Cherokee have used the heart both as metaphor and symbol for cultural survival. In Christiansen’s hands, it becomes a literal vessel, something solid and remarkably delicate a thing to be guarded, respected, and passed on.

There’s more. One of the quiet triumphs of this piece is its refusal to settle for a single beauty. Christiansen’s signature, for those in the know, is a sapphire this one tiny, radiant, and delicately seated inside a rose that looks almost too fragile for reality. She forms the rose herself, petals swirling from white and yellow gold in a balance that never seems forced. The division between tenderness and strength between tradition and invention is the line the artist walks, and you see evidence of it everywhere you look.

It’s hardly surprising that the art world took notice  and not just the usual roster of critics and high-end collectors. Word moved with rare speed from Oklahoma to New York and London, bringing with it a sort of reverence usually reserved for newly discovered masterworks. It wasn’t just the $600,000 valuation, though that number is enough to make anyone’s head spin. The real shock was the feeling. Even veteran art broker Derrick Wallace, who’s brokered pieces between billionaires and museums, described the pendant’s first unveiling as “a kind of religious experience. You could hear people stop breathing. This wasn’t a luxury good. This was something sacred made solid.”

He isn’t alone. Dr. Carla Dorsey, a respected scholar in Indigenous American art and culture, puts it simply: “A piece like this bridges worlds. Lisa Christiansen is working at the summit of technical skill, but she’s also telling a story that goes back centuries. Every line, every stone, every bit of gold contains a history  personal and shared  and you can feel the weight of it, the permission given by ancestors, the determination to create something lasting and real.”

The ancestral stories woven into this pendant feel very much alive when you listen to Christiansen herself. She’s unpretentious about her talent  “I listened to what the stones wanted to become,” she told one interviewer. “The design came in pieces, the way you remember a song from childhood. It never felt forced.” It’s a deceptively simple way to describe a method that merges the best of old and new worlds: hand-forged settings, custom gold alloys, and goldsmithing skills refined over countless careful hours, paired naturally with a Cherokee tradition of letting the material  be it metal, stone, or story  guide the hand.

But Christiansen isn’t interested in solo glory or in treating her bloodline like a museum placard. She does her work the way her fifth great-grandfather Sequoyah did: as part of a larger mission  keeping memory alive, protecting what has survived, and transforming old wisdom into something with present-tense power. If Sequoyah gave language form, Christiansen gives form a voice. Both acts, in their time, are radical.

For those familiar with the Cherokee story, looking at this piece evokes both pain and pride. The Keetoowah name conjures tragedy and endurance: the forced migrations, the violence of loss, and the resilience of a people still fighting to keep their knowledge and beauty intact. To “redeem” the heart is not to fix what happened, but to insist that hope, meaning, and art are the real legacy. “Every cast-off flake has a purpose,” Christiansen insists. “Every memory, when saved, redeems the future for the next generation.”

That sense of purpose is what leads her to refuse all offers to purchase the work. Collectors line up  internationally even, lured by reputation and mystique. But the answer is always a gentle no. “Some things are meant to be seen and remembered, not owned,” she told one reporter frankly. “This isn’t just art. It’s a piece of who we are.”

This isn’t just marketing; it’s rare and, frankly, refreshing. In an art market where nearly everything can be acquired for the right price, a work that cannot be bought only becomes more precious. It builds its own mythology, a modern legend for those who still believe that some things are more important than money. “Redeemed the Heart of the Keetoowah” exists on its own terms  a piece to be witnessed, not simply possessed, the sort of treasure that, if we’re lucky, will be passed down, generation to generation, along with all it means.

You can see it  if you’re in the right place, with enough respect  at Blue Wolf Fine Jewelry in Lawton, Oklahoma. The display isn’t gaudy. It’s almost understated, as if the gallery is daring you to stop rushing, to stand still, and to really see. People have described the experience as transformative, and it isn’t hyperbole. You come away changed: reminded of what lasts, what matters, and what it means to turn suffering and survival into beauty that endures.

Christiansen’s pendant is more than just the sum of its gilded weight and radiant stones. Its value grows with every story it revives and every viewer willing to linger long enough to listen. It stands as living proof that tradition, in the hands of someone who understands its worth, is not static or frail. Instead, it’s a forge  old fires made hotter, spirits made visible, and a people’s endurance pressed into permanent form.

Pieces like this do not come along often. For art historians, jewelers, collectors, and, most crucially, the living descendants of those who walked the Trail of Tears and survived, “Redeemed the Heart of the Keetoowah” stands as both sanctuary and challenge. It is a keeper of flame, a signal to anyone who forgets that beauty is as much about memory and meaning as it is about shimmer and shine.

In a world bent on forgetting, Christiansen reminds us that true artistry has a longer memory. And maybe, just maybe, it’s the work that refuses erasure  the work that gives back what was lost, and redeems what still waits to be found  that matters most.

Visit “Redeemed the Heart of the Keetoowah” at Blue Wolf Fine Jewelry, 1103 SW. C Ave. Suite 2, Lawton, OK 73501 a masterpiece for the ages, alive with ancestors, ready to be seen, and impossible to forget.

Is Michelle Dead on ‘Brilliant Minds’? Brian Altemus Talks Cliffhanger and Charlie Reveal

by jummy84 December 2, 2025
written by jummy84

What To Know

  • The fall finale of Brilliant Minds Season 2 reveals Charlie’s true motivation for joining Wolf’s team: His new boss was his mother’s doctor when she died.
  • Brian Altemus discusses Charlie’s confrontation of Wolf, including what he meant to do with that address where his dad, Noah, supposedly is.
  • The episode ends with a dramatic cliffhanger involving Michelle, setting up an all hands on deck situation for the show’s return in 2026.

[Warning: The below contains MAJOR spoilers for Brilliant Minds Season 2 Episode 10 “The Resident.”]

The truth about Charlie (Brian Altemus) and just why he wanted to work for Wolf (Zachary Quinto) is revealed in the Brilliant Minds Season 2 fall finale. What a way to end the 2025 run of episodes!

Charlie lets Wolf in on that fact in the middle of a gala. As he explains, he got into medicine because his mother’s doctor sold his family a fantasy about her getting better when she was dying, and he wanted to make sure to tell his patients the truth. After, Charlie reveals to Wolf that his father drank himself to death after his mom’s death, and so he’s been alone since he was 14. Wolf tries apologizing, but Charlie refuses to forgive him. Instead, he gives him the address where his father is — Noah (Mandy Patinkin) left Wolf at the beginning of the season — and, since not processing trauma can break a person, wants to see who breaks first.

As the fall finale ends, Wolf goes to the address and, when no one answers, breaks in. Plus, Van (Alex MacNicoll) thinks his girlfriend Michelle (Stacey Farber), who had been hesitant to attend the gala, just didn’t show up, but she’s really unconscious in a car after a crash. Uh-oh!

Below, Brian Altemus breaks down the fall finale and teases what’s ahead after that cliffhanger.

This fall finale has major moments for Charlie. How much of his backstory had you known from the beginning? Had you known about his mom and everything from the beginning of the season?

Brian Altemus: Not from the beginning of the season. By the time we were filming Episode 4 or 5, I was starting to piece a little bit more and more together. Michael Grassi does an incredible job of giving information, teasing information, even for us, so we’re kind of jumping in the deep end of what we imagine and just going 110% in that direction, just trusting that the writers have something really good lined up for us, and they continue to do so.

Pief Weyman/NBC

Why do you think he wanted Wolf to know that now, at this point, who he really is?

Charlie’s conscious of not leading patients to the same painful experience that my mom went through, and the family that goes along with those patients. He’s seeing it live happen in action. Jorge Torres, he’s seeing the pain that can come from a mother watching her son go through treatment that Charlie doesn’t think is necessary. So it’s really about making sure that the patients that he’s seeing aren’t going through the same pain.

So, he feels like, “If not now, when?”

Yeah. And, “Why is someone else going to have to live through this pain that I’ve already lived through?” and “I want to stop.” I mean, I feel like everyone in some little type of way, unless you’re the Joker, you want to alleviate some kind of pain and suffering in the world, and this is Charlie’s way of doing that.

Charlie doesn’t accept Wolf’s apology when he tells him he’s sorry. He says, “Let’s see who breaks first.” That’s chilling. What does he want to see in Wolf? Is it what we’re seeing in the flashforwards? Is it something else? Is he kind of not sure? Did he set out with a specific goal in mind?

It’s a loose goal. It’s definitely a takedown stance. He does not want to see him practicing medicine the way that he has been, and if that means his medical license is revoked, his medical license is revoked. If that means he changes his ways, he changes his ways. I don’t think Charlie has a good idea of what it exactly means. He just knows he’s coming in to change things.

Charlie gives Wolf what he says is his dad’s address, leading to Wolf breaking into that place, wherever it is. What does Charlie want to accomplish there? Just making Wolf think his dad was close and didn’t want to see him? Also, it’s like, what would be more cruel: that it’s actually Noah’s address or for him to make Wolf think it is?

Yeah, right. I mean, the mental game there is tough, I mean — I can’t ask the question back to you. I think it’s incredibly demonic to give an address that’s not actually his address and to say that it is. I mean, going on a wild goose chase for something not there is sadistic, to say the least. So I’d like to say that that is his address because if not, we take a whole different direction with Charlie. We take the direction of a literal psychopath and not in the, “He’s crazy. Oh my God, he’s crazy.” I mean in the literal sense of the word. So I would like to keep him as much as he is going for revenge, and he has a vendetta. He’s not psychopathic. So I like to think that is actually his dad’s address.

But then you also never know if it’s still the address, if it was once his address, if he’s there…

If he’s there, if he’s not, and who knows.

Talk about filming that scene with Zachary, going head-to-head. It was so good.

I mean, not only that scene, but the scene in the end of [Episode] 8. When I imagined this role doing the auditions and going through the callbacks and whatnot, I mean, this is what you’re preparing for. So just like any good game or any good match, you know what you’re headed for, and you’re kind of preparing all along the way for that. So when the day comes, you’re nervous, you’re excited, you’re just above all prepared so that you can do whatever it is that they’re asking you to do in the moment. And also, I mean, the way that showrunners run the show is fantastic. I mean, I got to actually speak with the writers, with Michael, with DeMane [Davis, director] about the direction we wanted to take the scene and the physicality of it, the movement, all of it. And so by the time we got there, everyone was just kind of buzzing, and then you just throw everything against the wind and into the wind and let it go. So it was one of my more fun days on set, for sure.

That’s not the only mystery at the end of this episode. There’s the matter of Michelle in that car accident on the way to the gala, and that kind of feels like it’s going to be an all-hands-on-deck situation where everyone has to put any conflicts aside when the show returns. What can you preview about that? Is that what we’re going to see?

Exactly that. The show does a great job of handling conflict and showing compassion through conflict, and there’s an incredible amount of compassion saying, “Hey, I know things aren’t good between us right now, but we really have to be there for something bigger than what’s going on between us.” And as much as they have their personal vendettas, they are in the field of care, and they’re going to care for the people, for anyone, but especially people they care about to begin with, they’re going to put aside their differences.

There are all these mysteries about these flashforwards. We’ve seen Charlie in a couple of them. Should we be wondering if there’s any sort of connection between Charlie and Amelia?

I’m going to leave that one up for time. We will see, I don’t even know if they’re on the same wavelength, if they have the same goal. I know that they definitely have some shared interests. We’ll see if they collaborate or corroborate.

When you were filming the flashforwards we’ve seen so far with Charlie, how much did you know about what’s going on there? Was it just what you needed to know for that scene?

Just what I needed to know for the scene and guessing all the ways in which it could go, and then saying, “OK, we did a take in this direction. Let’s go 150% in that direction. Let’s do a take in this direction.” Because that’s the beauty of writing as we’re going, and I don’t know where we’re headed, so you give them options.

Armarium Pre-Fall 2026 Collection | Vogue

Armarium’s pre-fall collection grew out of the evolving needs of its designer Giorgia Gabriele—needs that, in many ways, reflect those of every woman. “I don’t like the idea of having a daytime wardrobe and an evening wardrobe, where the most special pieces end up hanging in the closet after being worn only once,” she said. Her goal is to bring continuity to Armarium’s aesthetic, moving away from rigid tailoring and designing each piece with a sense of truly versatile wearability.

“The woman I have in mind is very aware of who she is, but she doesn’t need extreme pieces to express herself,” the designer explained. In her vision, every stylistic choice has a purpose. That’s why trains are the keys to this collection. They appear throughout outerwear, knitwear, and shirting, highlighting the more distinctive side of each piece while blurring traditional boundaries between functions. On utilitarian jackets and shirts, the train can be reimagined as a draped shawl or a cape that shifts the garment’s proportions via two small buttons and a slit. On denim, the train can be transformed into a skirt worn over jeans or into a top, while on dresses and sweaters it becomes a scarf that rests lightly on the shoulders.

Clean, rational lines remain central to Armarium’s identity, though here they take on a softer, more fluid and dynamic character. Slits are another recurring theme, appearing on blazers, coats, dresses, and skirts. Textures add movement and a touch of boldness: pony hair and glossy leather play against more traditionally masculine fabrics. Among the new elements, accessories reinforce the idea of versatility—from the refined structure of the Nour cap to the effortless ease of the Eterna bag, offered in both city and weekend versions.

Madhuri Dixit Joins 8-Hour Shift Debate Amid Deepika Padukone Row; Says, “I’m A Workaholic, We Worked 12-Hours Every Day”

Madhuri Dixit – who is known as the Dhak-Dhak girl of Bollywood is all set to show a side like never before in her upcoming web show Mrs Deshpande. The actress – who rose to fame with iconic films such as Dil, Beta, Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!, Dil To Pagal Hai and more, is all set to play a jailed serial killer in the Hotstar show.

During a recent interaction, the actress – who has been part of the industry for over 4 decades, was asked her views about there being an 8-hour shift for actors on movie sets. This conversation gained prominence following Deepika Padukone’s ouster from Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit. Read below to know all the ‘Lajja’ actress had to share.

Madhuri Dixit Weighs In On 8-Hour Shifts Debate

When asked about her views on the 8-hour shift debate, Madhuri Dixit told ANI, “The thing is that when we did Mrs Deshpande, we were working 12-hour shifts every day, like maybe more sometimes… So, I think to each his own.” She continued, “I’m a workaholic. So for me, maybe it’s different, but if a woman has that power and can say, ‘okay, I want to work these many hours,’ then that’s her prerogative, and that’s her life, and that’s how she wants to do it…Then more power to her.”

A while ago, Rani Mukerji also weighed in on the same topic. Stating that there should be better coordination and understanding between actors and producers, the ‘Mardaani’ actress said, “These things are up for conversation today because maybe people are discussing them outside. But this has been the norm with all professions. I’ve also done it where I have worked for certain hours. If the producer’s okay with it, you go ahead with the film. If the producer isn’t okay with it, you don’t make the film. So it’s also a choice. Nobody is forcing anything on anybody.”
