“They suck, and we’ll win”

by jummy84 October 5, 2025
written by jummy84

US Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem has hit out over the NFL’s plans to host Bad Bunny at next year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show.

Earlier this week, the Puerto Rican musician made headlines when he was announced as the headliner for the 2026 event in February, an announcement that came after he admitted that he won’t be touring the US during his forthcoming world tour due to fears over ICE agents raiding his concerts.

Announcing the slot, he wrote on social media: “I’ve been thinking about it these days, and after discussing it with my team, I think I’ll do just one date in the United States.” A member of Donald Trump‘s administration then confirmed that ICE agents would be present at the show.

Now, Noem has reiterated that ICE’s presence will be felt at the show.

“I have the responsibility for making sure everybody goes to the Super Bowl, has the opportunity to enjoy it and to leave,” she said during an appearance on The Benny Show.

“That’s what America’s about. So yeah, we’ll be all over that place. We’re going to enforce the law. So, I think people should not be coming to the Super Bowl unless they’re law-abiding Americans who love this country.”

Noem also hit out at the NFL for choosing Bad Bunny as its halftime performer, despite the largely Spanish-performing artist being a US citizen.

She added: “Well, they suck, and we’ll win. And God will bless us, and we’ll stand and be proud of ourselves at the end of the day. And they won’t be able to sleep at night because they don’t know what they believe. And they’re so weak, we’ll fix it.”

Her comments came ahead of Bad Bunny‘s appearance on Saturday Night Live, which saw him take aim at the right-wing backlash to the upcoming performance, joking that “everyone is happy” about the concert, “even Fox News.”

He then rolled a series of spliced clips of hosts on the network, all of which combined to say: “Bad Bunny is my favourite musician and he should be the next President.”

After touching on his excitement about playing the coveted Super Bowl slot, he said he knew “people all around the world who love my music are also happy,” and continued on in Spanish.

“Especially all the Latinos and Latinas in the whole world, and here in the United States, all the people who have worked to open doors, more than I have achieved, who have achieved everything, demonstrating that our way, our carrying of this country, no one can ever remove nor erase.”

Wrapping up the monologue in English, he said: “And if you didn’t understand what I just said, you have four months to learn.”

In a statement regarding Bad Bunny’s upcoming performance, Jay-Z, who serves as the NFL’s music strategist via his label Roc Nation’s partnership with the league, said: “What Benito has done and continues to do for Puerto Rico is truly inspiring. We are honoured to have him on the world’s biggest stage.”

Elsewhere, Noem was recently mocked by South Park creators who shared a previously unaired scene of her embarking on a shooting spree in a pet store in an episode from the latest season.

5 Reasons Why Anita Hassanandani Deserved To Win Chhoriyan Chali Gaon

by jummy84 October 4, 2025
written by jummy84

After weeks of challenges, emotions, and unforgettable moments, Chhoriyan Chali Gaon has crowned its winner, Anita Hassanandani. From the very beginning, Anita’s journey stood out for her sincerity, determination, and ability to balance strength with compassion. Here are five reasons why she truly deserved to lift the trophy.

5 Reasons Why Anita Hassanandani Deserved To Win Chhoriyan Chali Gaon

Consistent Performer In Tasks

Anita proved her mettle by winning multiple Chhori No. 1 titles. Whether it was physically demanding games, mentally challenging rounds, or creative tasks, Anita always gave her best and emerged victorious time after time.

Compassionate Leadership

Her win wasn’t just about personal glory. Anita constantly thought about others, be it motivating her gaon ki saathi during difficult moments or ensuring that no one felt left out. She even went beyond the competition, making heartfelt decisions like supporting Monica’s education, which touched everyone deeply.

Balancing Emotions And Strategy

Reality shows test not just strength but also emotional intelligence. Anita struck the right balance, whether apologizing to her saathi when she felt she pressured her too much, or making tough yet fair calls during group challenges. Her honesty and vulnerability won hearts.

Inspiring Feminist Voice

From advocating for healthcare access in villages to reminding everyone that women deserve rest and respect in their households, Anita brought important social issues into the spotlight. Her ability to stand up for fellow contestants like Aishwarya showed her solidarity with women both inside and outside the game.

Never Losing Her Spark

One of the most powerful moments in Anita’s journey was when she admitted she had questioned whether she’d “lost her spark” after becoming a mother. Through the show, she proved not only to herself but to countless women watching that one’s identity, ambition, and drive never fade; they only shine brighter with resilience. Her victory is a celebration of rediscovering one’s own power.

In the end, Anita Hassanandani didn’t just win a show; she won hearts, making her the most deserving Chhori No. 1.

Atlee Predicted Shah Rukh Khan’s National Award Win On The Sets Of Jawan

by jummy84 October 3, 2025
written by jummy84

When Jawan hit the big screens, it wasn’t just another film, but it evolved into a true cultural phenomenon. Directed by Atlee, the film, starring Shah Rukh Khan, shattered box-office records, eventually becoming the highest-grossing Hindi film ever made, and recently earned Shah Rukh his first National Award for Best Actor. Audiences were deeply moved by the film’s scale, emotional depth, and the precision of his performance, which further demonstrated how Atlee’s vision could elevate a film to a cultural milestone. Amidst the excitement, an intriguing behind-the-scenes detail has recently surfaced.

During the promotions for Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, Sanya Malhotra shared that during the filming of Jawan, Atlee confidently predicted that Shah Rukh Khan would be recognized with a National Award for his performance. She said, “Oh, he is fantastic! And when we were shooting for Jawan, Atlee sir had already predicted that Shah Rukh Khan was going to win a National Award. He used to say it with so much confidence and look at him now. He won the National Award. He’s amazing.”

The same prediction has now become historical. After a career of over three decades, Shah Rukh Khan has finally been awarded the prestigious National Award, a huge achievement not only for him but also for Atlee, whose direction and storytelling provided the ideal foundation for one of Shah Rukh’s most acclaimed performances.

Atlee’s insightful vision highlights his prowess as a filmmaker. Known for making grand cinematic experiences that balance scale with emotional depth, he not only delivered a record-breaking blockbuster but also directed a performance worthy of the nation’s highest honour.

Shah Rukh Khan Atlee Jawan

With Jawan, Atlee has solidified his reputation as a filmmaker who not only generates excitement but also shapes cinematic history. As he prepares for his next directorial venture, AA22xA6, in collaboration with Allu Arjun, excitement is already at an all-time high for another potential cinematic achievement.

Amitabh Bachchan Trolls Pakistan, Mammootty, Anupam Kher & Others Cheer for India After Asia Cup Win

by jummy84 September 29, 2025
written by jummy84

India won its 9th Asia Cup in a thrilling final last night, defeating Pakistan in Dubai. However, after the match, India refused to accept the trophy or medals from ACC President and Pakistan’s PCB Chief Mohsin Naqvi, citing tensions between the two countries, especially after the Pahalgam terror attack earlier this year. Several Indian celebrities took to social media to celebrate India’s win and congratulate the team. Some also trolled the Pakistan team.

Actor Anil Kapoor wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “India Zindabad.” Superstar Mammootty shared a picture and expressed, “Team India didn’t just win the Asia Cup, they owned it. Champions without a single defeat. Absolutely magnificent!”

Anupam Kher added, “Bharat Mata ki jay! Kya baat hai (Wow)! What a game! Oh my God. Jeetenge bhai jeetenge. Bharat Mata ki jay (We will win. Hail India)! Vande Mataram. Khush ho gaya dil. Kya bolun main (I’m so happy. What do I say?). Superb. Proud of my country, proud of this cricket team. Fantastic, very well played. God bless them.”

Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan took this opportunity to troll former Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar. For some context, Akhtar recently made a slip of the tongue and referred to Indian cricketer Abhishek Sharma as Abhishek Bachchan. He said in an interview, “If Pakistan manage to get Abhishek Bachchan out in a hypothetical situation, what happens to India’s middle order?” before he was quickly corrected by the host. Reacting to this, Abhishek had tweeted, “Sir, with all due respect… don’t think they’ll even manage that! And I’m not even good at playing cricket.”

Several other celebrities, such as Sidharth Malhotra, Ali Fazal, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ranveer Singh, Angad Bedi, Preity Zinta, Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, among others, cheered for India. Take a look at their reactions:

The Ba***ds of Bollywood actor Raghav Juyal, who was in Dubai, told ANI, “Bohot acha laga aaj. Aur main apne bacchon ko bataunga ki main ye legendary match dekhne aaya tha. Bilkul kamaal ho gaya (It felt so good today. I will even tell my children that I came to watch this legendary match. Absolutely amazing).”

‘Wheel of Fortune’ Fans Blast Show After Contestant Misses $71,000 Win

by jummy84 September 19, 2025
written by jummy84

Fans have blasted Wheel of Fortune after a contestant lost out on $71,000 in the Bonus Round. They claim the puzzle in the round did not match up with the category, making it too hard.

Teryce Walters, from Bolingbrook, Illinois, played against Dawn McMahon, from Galena, Ohio, and Nick Oswald, from Ankeny, Iowa, on Thursday, September 18. Walters, a fourth-grade teacher, solved the second Toss Up for $2,000. McMahon, a high school science teacher, solved the first.

Walters maintained the lead with $5,600 when she solved “Global Positioning System.” She landed on the $10,000 in the Crossword puzzle. The category was “Corn,” and she solved “Bread,” “Ball,” “Dogs,” and “Flakes” for $17,800.

Walters solved the Prize Puzzle — “Beautiful Day Advisory!” — and won a trip to the Dominican Republic, putting $27,560 in her bank. She added $4,000 to her total by solving two of the three Triple Toss Ups. Oswald, a choir teacher, finally got on the board when he solved the other.

Oswald walked away with $11,600 after solving the final puzzle — “Pomp and Circumstance.” “Wow!” Oswald exclaimed. McMahon went home with $1,000. The big winner of the night was Walters with $31,560.

She chose “Event” for her category and brought her husband, Horace, with her. Walters was given R,S,T,L,N, and E.” She chose “M,D,F, and A.”

Only getting one extra letter, the puzzle looked like “_ _ _ER  _ _TA_E.” “That’s it,” host Ryan Seacrest said.

The game show contestant didn’t guess it in time, saying “Cover,” “Baker,” “Exhale.” The puzzle was revealed to be “Power Outage.” She lost out on taking home an additional $40,000, which would have given her a total of $71,560.

Fans blasted the show for having “Power Outage” in the “Events” category. “Great player, but no way to get that bonus round puzzle. I would say a power outage is more of a ‘thing’ than an ‘event’,” a YouTube user wrote.

“How is a power outage an ‘event’? That’s more of a thing than an event,” another said.

“A power outage is not an event,” a third said.

“The puzzle looked difficult to solve,” one last fan said.
