Donald Trump Addresses SNAP Crisis Amid Govt. Shutdown

by jummy84 November 1, 2025
written by jummy84

Donald Trump is stirring the pot again — this time over SNAP benefits, and yes, he’s dragging “Radical Democrats” like only he can. On Friday evening, Trump took to Truth Social to vent about the government shutdown, courts giving “conflicting opinions,” and his desire to make sure Americans don’t go hungry. But of course, he didn’t hold back on the political finger-pointing, name-dropping Senate Democrats, and framing himself as the alleged hero ready to swoop in…if only the courts let him.

Trump Pressures Courts, Blames Democrats For Food Stamp Crisis

In a message to the nation on Friday, Donald Trump wrote, “Our Government lawyers do not think we have the legal authority to pay SNAP with certain monies we have available, and now two Courts have issued conflicting opinions on what we can and cannot do.” He stressed that he’s asking the courts to clarify how to legally fund the program ASAP, while blaming the Democrats for “keeping the Government closed” and delaying payments.

He even dropped Chuck Schumer’s office number for SNAP recipients to call, calling it a “charade” and urging Americans to demand the government reopen. Furthermore, Trump positioned himself as ready to take action, similar to his approach with military and law enforcement pay, highlighting SNAP funding as a high-profile issue under his focus.

The TL Ain’t Letting This Fiasco Slide So Easily

The Shade Room Instagram comment section quickly blew up as fans reacted to Trump’s SNAP post. Some users asked, “Is this really the country we’re living in?” while others pointed out that Trump “constantly does this” kind of political theatrics. Meanwhile, a lot of people kept it simple, just wanting the food stamps to get back into recipients’ hands without all the extra drama.

One Instagram user @aprnbeauty commented, “This can’t be life“

This Instagram user @msfunkydineva wrote, “Hold ya line democrats!! Hold ya line!!“

And, Instagram user @lizzyportorreal added, “But the ballroom is fully paid for I bet“

Meanwhile, Instagram user @calltyrone911 shared, “For those that don’t know, this is all a da*n lie.“

While Instagram user @misqetta said, “Create the problem, then solve it…same story😂”

Lastly, Instagram user @msbombassscorpio revealed, “Sir they judges told u that u can’t hold them funds“

Judges Force SNAP Payments Amid Trump Shutdown Drama

On Friday, chaos over SNAP benefits reached peak drama when a federal judge slammed the Donald Trump administration for trying to halt payments starting November 1. U.S. District Judge John McConnell ordered the USDA to distribute funds “as soon as possible,” even if it meant tapping into contingency funds, warning that millions of families could face “irreparable harm” if the program isn’t funded. The move came after another judge called the plan unlawful — though that earlier ruling didn’t force immediate action, leaving Trump scrambling to respond.

Judge McConnell made it crystal clear: the six billion dollars in contingency funding exists for emergencies just like this, and concerns about saving money for potential hurricanes don’t outweigh feeding people right now. The USDA now has until Monday to show a concrete plan, with updates required, and if contingency funds run dry, the agency is legally on the hook to use other sources. The ruling isn’t just about individual recipients — cities and community groups who rely on SNAP are also breathing a sigh of relief, as this program remains a lifeline even in the middle of government shutdown chaos.

Trump Faces Apparition in Halloween Episode

by jummy84 November 1, 2025
written by jummy84

In the latest entry into the sporadic but pretty great South Park Halloween episode canon, creators and showrunners did not present a traditional Halloween episode centered around the holiday, but a biting and spooky satire of the Trump administration and suggests some otherworldly repercussions for the very real demolition of the White House’s East Wing.

The situation for Stan Marsh and his family is getting grim: the four have been living in a motel since Tegredy Farms went kaput earlier in the season, and now they will be moving in with a very unwilling Grandpa Marsh in his assisted living home. Stan is not pleased and is looking for a way out of there, like now.

In Washington, D.C., we find lovebirds President Trump and Satan gazing on as the East Wing of the White House is bulldozed and destroyed. But Satan, it seems was misinformed by his beau and thinks the construction is for a nursery for their little bundle of Antichrist, who, looking at the size of Satan’s bump, will arrive soon. Putting their domestic argument aside, they are off to the Oval Office to attend a security briefing.

In the meeting, they learn that someone might be trying to stop the baby from being born — and three characters are, in fact, doing that exact thing: Peter Thiel, who is hellbent on stopping the Antichrist; Vice President J.D. Vance, who wants a happy Trump for his nefarious career ladder climb; and Trump in the Oval Office meeting. United States Attorney General Pam Bondi is told she has human shit literally on her nose as she lays on the brown nosing to Trump, assuring him that there is no way this will happen to the greatest president of all time.

But the bombshell comes when it’s revealed that by demolishing the East Wing of the White House, the Trump administration has unleashed some sort of vengeful supernatural wrath. The president explains that he’s been noticing a creeping feeling and seeing what looks like a woman in a hat appearing in the mirror and the hallway.

Back at South Park Elementary, Stan is at his wits’ end after spending too much time in the facility with his family. After grousing about it with the boys, he then breaks the fourth wall in what turns into a biting satire on the crypto space and ushers in the return of Kyle’s relative, the nerdy and wheezing Cousin Kyle Schwartz as the crypto scam’s money man. Let’s let Stan explain phase one of his scheme.

“How many weeks has it been now, dealing with one stupid thing after another?” Stan says to the show’s audience (and is talking about the show here, in case you don’t catch on). “The truth is, I think a lot of people are afraid to admit it. Yeah, everyone knows South Park sucks now and it’s because all this political stuff is being totally bogged down in it. Remember when we used to do stuff, ever since all this political crap took over.”

He’s maybe right. Here’s more.

At 1600, the president continues to see something appearing in the mirror and the hallway of the White House. Viewers then get to see the South Park rendering of Trump in the shower, micropenis on full display. As he towels himself off, what appears to be a woman with a hat is again in the room. But who is she and what does she want?

To expose the truth, it seems. After a grotesque rendering of Trump advisor Stephen Miller allows Cousin Kyle into the White House for a meeting with Donald Trump Jr. to do some cryptoscamming, or “take a big dump” on investors — something Trump the younger says he loves through an unending grin — the entire Trump administration, or at least the ones we’ve seen depicted on the show over this and last season, are conducting a seance led by an even more shit-nosed Bondi.

Bondi (with the shit now all over her face), is leading the seance and quickly becomes a conduit for whatever the spirit or entity haunting Trump’s White House wants to say. It has something to do with “lies,” which are being told by a man. Bondi, speaking for the apparition, mumbles something about “Epstein” — which Trump quickly shouts down. “He lies… corruption… lies…” Bondi garbles, speaking for the ghost.

Suddenly, Cousin Kyle breaks down as he runs out of the room. He can’t take it anymore, the apparition is right, crypto is a scam, and he’s ashamed of what he’s been doing. It allows the rich to launder money and get richer, he confesses while sobbing. Trump and his gang of administrators remain silent as the episode closes and it’s back to the status quo… at least for now.

Alls well that ends well this Halloween episode, which didn’t have any real Halloween included. Except for Stan, who is tragically is back at the assisted living facility at episode’s end.

South Park Season 28 Halloween Episode: Trump Gets Haunted

by jummy84 November 1, 2025
written by jummy84

[Editor’s note: The following contains spoilers for South Park, Season 28 Episode 2, “The Woman In The Hat.”]

In a special Halloween episode of South Park, creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone took a moment to acknowledge the haters, as the boys complain that South Park (the town, of course) sucks now, Stan going so far as to say it’s “because of all this political shit.” They even point out that Kenny’s been largely absent from the latest season: “I haven’t even heard you say anything in like four months,” one of them says, which Kenny acknowledges in his usual muffled way.

To reclaim their town, they launch a South Park Sucks Now campaign to create a community for those who want change. (Southparksucksnow.com, at time of writing, just redirects to the official South Park website. There is also now an unofficial /r/southparksucksnow on Reddit.) However, SPSN actually ends up being a meme coin scheme launched with the help of Kyle’s Cousin Kyle. Stan in particular is desperate to make some money, as his family’s now had to move into his grandfather’s nursing home following the loss of Tegrity Farms.

Meanwhile, the soap opera at the White House continues as Satan calls Trump out for knocking down the East Wing for his ballroom — not because Satan thinks it’s a bad thing that Trump demolished the historic structure, but because Satan thought that Trump was doing it to build a nursery for their pending baby.

The demolition causes an additional problem for Trump, though: Demolishing the East Wing unleashed a “wrath,” and he’s now being haunted by a Melania-shaped specter, which ends up bringing much of the White House squad together for a very Halloween-y seance. This includes senior advisor Stephen Miller (more Renfield-y than ever), FCC chairman Brendan Carr (mummified by casts to heal his recent injuries, he’s “lost his freedom of speech”), the always ghoulish Kristi Noem, and Pam Bondi, who leads the seance. Bondi’s got her own supernatural woes: Her nose keeps getting covered in smears of what paranormal investigators might call “rectoplasm” — but because it’s South Park, it’s crap. Trump’s crap, very specifically.

The seance nearly exposes JD Vance and Peter Thiel’s ongoing scheme to kill Trump and Satan’s baby (not a sentence I ever expected to type, I confess) and does get horrific enough to cause Kristi Noem’s face to melt off. Cousin Kyle, who’s come to the White House looking to strike a crypto deal with Don Jr., is appropriately terrified — before getting hauled off to jail for the crypto scheme.

At the end of the episode, the boys resolve to make the most of their current circumstances, while other plotlines like Satan’s pregnancy and Cartman’s 6-7 possession/abduction by Peter Thiel remain unresolved for future weeks. And while there have been scarier Halloween episodes… The image of Kristi Noem’s face crawling around on its own will linger for some time.

Following its premiere on Comedy Central, Season 22, Episode 2 of South Park — “The Woman in the Hat” — will be available to stream on Paramount+ beginning Saturday, November 1st.

Trump Appearing on 60 Minutes, First Interview Post-CBS Lawsuit

by jummy84 October 31, 2025
written by jummy84

President Donald Trump is returning to 60 Minutes for his first interview since suing CBS, which resulted in parent company Paramount Global settling in a $16 million payout.

Norah O’Donnell sat down with Trump on Friday for an exclusive interview that will air on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Over the summer, Paramount settled a lawsuit Trump filed over the editing of a 60 Minutes interview with 2024 Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris. Part of the settlement agreement included stipulations for Paramount to release 60 Minutes transcripts of interviews with presidential candidates post-air.

In addition to returning to 60 Minutes for the first time since his lawsuit, Trump’s sit-down will be his first on the CBS News program as the 47th president and first since David Ellison was named the new Paramount Skydance CEO and The Free Press‘ Bari Weiss was named CBS News editor-in-chief. The president formerly backed out of a planned interview with Scott Pelley in October ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

His lawsuit against CBS claimed “deceptive doctoring” in Harris’ 60 Minutes interview. Before the settlement, legal observers’ predicted that the suit would be dismissed due to industry norms pertaining to interview editing. Sources told The Hollywood Reporter Paramount believed the lawsuit could deter Skydance’s deal to acquire the company, which required regulatory approval, including the transfer of FCC licenses. The merger was later approved in August.

Following the settlement, the legal team for President Trump said in a statement, “With this record settlement, President Donald J. Trump delivers another win for the American people as he, once again, holds the fake news media accountable for their wrongdoing and deceit.”

“CBS and Paramount Global realized the strength of this historic case and had no choice but to settle,” continued the statement. “President Trump will always ensure that no one gets away with lying to the American People as he continues on his singular mission to Make America Great Again.”

Then-CBS co-CEO George Cheeks, meanwhile, said at a shareholders meeting, “Companies often settle litigation to avoid the high and somewhat unpredictable cost of legal defense, the risk of an adverse judgment that could result in significant financial as well as reputational damage, and the disruption to business operations that prolonged legal battles can cause. A settlement offers a negotiated resolution that allows companies to focus on their core objectives, rather than being mired in uncertainty and distraction.”

Jon Stewart Says Trump Is 'Definitely' Planning to Serve Third Term

Jon Stewart Says Trump Is ‘Definitely’ Planning to Serve Third Term

by jummy84 October 28, 2025
written by jummy84

On this week’s episode of “The Daily Show,” Jon Stewart pointed out all the signs that Donald Trump may be planning for a third term in office.

Late into Monday night’s monologue, Stewart played a clip of a journalist asking Trump on Air Force One if he’d be “willing to challenge the court” to serve a third term as president. Trump’s response: “Well, I haven’t really thought about it.”

Stewart facetiously exclaimed in response, “Yes! He’s doing it! ‘I haven’t thought about it.’ That’s the tell for whenever he’s asked about something that he is definitely going to do that is dubious legally, ethically, or morally. He says he hasn’t thought about it, but of course, we know he’s thought about it, because he already has the merch.” The late-night pundit then cut to a photo of two “Trump 2028” hats sitting on the Oval Office desk.

“Now, of course, the negative nellies are going to have issues. They’ll say presidents cannot serve more than two terms, due to the 22nd Amendment,” Stewart added. “But what’s interesting about Trump is he’s actually worked through the various scenarios of running for a third term he has not thought about.”

Back on Air Force One, a reporter asked Trump if he would run as Vice President to get to a third term. Although the President asserted he’d “be allowed to do that,” he repeatedly deemed the tactic “too cute” for him to try.

“Too cute? No, that’s why you don’t go to a Build-A-Bear as an adult,” Stewart joked. “Running as a Vice President to skirt the 22nd Amendment isn’t cute. But he’s the kind of guy who’s like, ‘I respect Americans too much to play games. If I’m going to run again, I’m going to rip off the Constitution’s head and shit down its neck.’ And truth is, indications are very clear he’s going to do it. You don’t move into a house, knock down a wing, and build a 90,000 square foot ballroom for the next guy.”

Time Magazine Releases New Donald Trump Cover After His Criticism

Time Magazine Releases New Donald Trump Cover After His Criticism

by jummy84 October 26, 2025
written by jummy84

Time magazine has released a new cover of its upcoming Nov. 10 issue featuring President Donald Trump after the GOP leader heavily critiqued the original image used.

The legacy publication unveiled the second edition earlier this week, tied to its feature on Trump, who was interviewed about his role in brokering the ceasefire deal between Gaza and Israel. While the former image features the POTUS looking upward framed against the sky with the caption “His Triumph,” the latter depicts Trump with his hands clasped under his chin at the Hayes desk with the subtitle “Trump’s World.”

Unveiled Oct. 14, Trump took significant umbrage with the cover photo initially chosen, writing on Truth Social at 1:36 a.m. ET that night: “Time Magazine wrote a relatively good story about me, but the picture may be the Worst of All Time. They ‘disappeared’ my hair, and then had something floating on top of my head that looked like a floating crown, but an extremely small one. Really weird! I never liked taking pictures from underneath angles, but this is a super bad picture, and deserves to be called out. What are they doing, and why?”

Trump has a long established relationship with the newsweekly — both as subject and reader. According to the outlet, as of December 2024, Trump’s total cover count exceeds 40, coming behind only Presidents Ronald Reagan and record-holder Richard Nixon. Naturally, this doesn’t include the fake covers that had reportedly been hanging in “at least five of his golf clubs,” which featured a cover line exclaiming that “Trump is hitting it on all fronts … even TV!” The existence of the bogus covers, reported by the Washington Post, prompted the magazine to ask Trump to remove them. Since then, several real covers currently hang in various locations inside his Mar-a-Lago residence. Time also named him the Person of the Year in 2016 and 2024.

Prior to the release of the original cover, the owner of Time, Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff, made waves over the weekend for comments to The New York Times in which he said he thought Trump was doing a “great job” and “fully” supported the idea of sending federal troops into San Francisco.

According to a report by The Daily Beast, Washington, D.C.-based photographer Stephen Voss’s new photo of Trump drew inspiration from Arnold Newman’s 1963 photograph of German industrialist and convicted Nazi war criminal Alfried Krupp, which was published by Newsweek, though Time vehemently denied this. (The digital outlet also reported Voss liking comments on Instagram where followers asked about the connection, though he has since seemingly removed his likes.)

“There is no connection and claims suggesting otherwise are completely untrue,” a Time spokesperson said. “The references for this photoshoot were past presidential portraits in the Oval Office, including TIME’s own covers. Giving weight to speculation on social media is reckless and contributes to the spread of misinformation.”

CBS Evening News Says Nothing About Trump Pardon Of Crypto CEO

CBS Evening News Says Nothing About Trump Pardon Of Crypto CEO

by jummy84 October 24, 2025
written by jummy84

Alone among the broadcast networks, the CBS Evening News on Thursday had not a single mention of Donald Trump’s sudden pardon of money-laundering convicted cryptocurrency billionaire Changpeng Zhao.

While ABC and CBS, as well as PBS, all covered the somewhat surprising legal break delivered to the Canadian-born Binance founder, it was crickets on the Bari Weiss controlled former home of Walter Cronkite. Fox doesn’t have a nightly news show, but the pardon was also covered by the likes of the Rupert Murdoch-owned Wall Street Journal and Fox News as well CNN, New York Times, AP, Reuters, Axios and many more.

With the pardon unveiled on Thursday, morning, the absence of any story on Zhao which was one of the biggest stories of the day, is all the more noticeable as questions over the deep and blatant entwinement the Binance boss has had in recent months with the Trump family’s lucrative crypto companies. Add to that the fact that one of the major elements of the Biden administration’s prosecution of Binance and its four months imprisoned ex-CEO was the lack of oversight the crypto exchange provided to crack down on widespread criminal and terrorist use of the platform.

Specifically that terrorist use saw the likes of Hamas using Binance for their finances. As well, global gangs moved around funds around that came out of child sex trafficking, prosecutors said.

Entering a guilty plea in 2023 and stepping down from the Binance top job, Zhao got out of prison after four months in September 2024. Even with that punishment, the exec lost none of his controlling shares in the 2017-formed company, and with this week’s pardon, could well moving right back in to the crypto C-Suite.

At the regular White House briefing on Thursday, press secretary Karoline Leavitt offered that Trump had “exercised his constitutional authority by issuing a pardon for Mr. Zhao, who was prosecuted by the Biden Administration in their war on cryptocurrency.” In case, you didn’t pick up what Leavitt and Trump were putting down, the press secretary then added: “The Biden Administration’s war on crypto is over.”

In that context, last night’s CBS Evening News led with the NBA gambling scandal arrests, the administration’s “expanding military campaign against drug trafficking in South America,” and interviews with Customs and Border Patrol’s Greg Bovino and Illinois Governor JB Pritzker over harsh ICE crackdowns in Chicago.

Halfway through the broadcast, a segment on the much-criticized destruction of the White House’s East Wing for Trump’s new donor paid for ballroom took centerstage. In a follow-up, Thursday’s broadcast also took a look at the ongoing shutdown of the federal government and the fallout and delays being experienced at major USA airports. Towards the end of the October 23 CBS Evening News, Gayle King previewed a October 24 CBS Mornings segment on the final performance of Misty Copeland at the American Ballet Theatre.

Still, from top to bottom, nowhere on the John Dickerson and Maurice DuBois anchored show was there even a mention of Zhao’s pardon or his business relationships with the Trump family.

It is worth noting the pardon was covered in a written piece on the CBS News website, with an update at 6:33 pm ET on October 23. As well, CBS Evening News‘ official X feed sent out a post as recently on pardon as 7:30 am PT today.

However, reps for CBS News, which Free Press founder Weiss has been running for Paramount chief David Ellison since earlier this month, did not respond to Deadline’s request for comment on the lack of coverage of the Zhao pardon.

While Ellison has publicly offered a neutral political stance as his vision for CBS News, his appointment of Weiss as well as former Trump officials throughout CBS News and his inner circle has raised eyebrows. Brows that have gone even higher with Paramount’s ongoing vigorous multi-billion-dollar pursuit of Warner Bros Discovery – a pursuit partial fueled by the implied promise that the well-connected Paramount can get the whole deal approved by the feds faster than anyone else.

On the other hand, probably cause ulcers down at the Melrose lot, Trump has repeatedly referred to Ellison, who received quick regulatory approval of his Paramount purchase, and his Oracle founding/world’s second richest man father Larry as “friends of mine and “big supporters of mine.” Trump also said of the Ellisons that “they’ll do the right thing” and will unlock the “great potential” of CBS News, which hasn’t always been POTUS’ most admiring outlet, if you know what I mean?

No friend of the Trumps, Sen, Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) on Thursday pillaried the pardon.

“First, Changpeng Zhao pleaded guilty to a criminal money laundering charge,” the former presidential candidate said. ‘Then he boosted one of Donald Trump’s crypto ventures and lobbied for a pardon. Today, Donald Trump did his part and pardoned him. If Congress does not stop this kind of corruption in pending market structure legislation, it owns this lawlessness.”

As for current UAE resident Zhao, who goes by CZ online and elsewhere, and Binance …he said it all. “Deeply grateful for today’s pardon and to President Trump for upholding America’s commitment to fairness, innovation and justice,” Zhao wrote on X.

Deeply grateful for today’s pardon and to President Trump for upholding America’s commitment to fairness, innovation, and justice.
🙏🙏🙏🙏

Will do everything we can to help make America the Capital of Crypto and advance web3 worldwide.

(Still in flight, more posts to come.)…

— CZ 🔶 BNB (@cz_binance) October 23, 2025

“We thank President Trump for his leadership and for his commitment to make the US the crypto capital of the world,’ a Binance spokesperson stated after the pardon was made public. “CZ’s vision not only made Binance the world’s largest crypto exchange but shaped the broader crypto movement. Binance remains focused on building a secure, transparent, and user-first platform that reduces fees and increases access to the financial system for all.”

bitchy | Donald Trump forgot to say that he’s demolishing the entire White House East Wing

by jummy84 October 23, 2025
written by jummy84

Months ago, Donald Trump announced his plan to build a gigantic, gaudy new “White House ballroom” on the east side of the WH campus. He actually said, repeatedly and on the record, that the plan was to build a big ballroom adjacent to the existing structure, and perhaps attach the ballroom to the mansion via some kind of breezeway. Like everything that comes out of that ugly orange man’s mouth, all of that was a lie. Several days ago, construction started on the ballroom. Scratch that – construction has NOT started, because they’re too busy demolishing the White House’s East Wing. On Wednesday, the White House confirmed that the entirety of the East Wing will be demolished by this weekend.

The White House is demolishing the entirety of the East Wing to make way for President Trump’s $200 million ballroom, a construction project that is far more extensive than he initially let on, a senior administration official said on Wednesday.

The tear-down should be finished by this weekend, according to the official, who was not authorized to speak publicly about the plans. When Mr. Trump first announced his plans for the ballroom, he pledged that the East Wing wouldn’t be touched by the construction.

“It’ll be views of the Washington Monument. It won’t interfere with the current building. It’ll be near it but not touching it,” the president said. “And pays total respect to the existing building, which I’m the biggest fan of.”

But, upon further evaluation, the White House determined it was cheaper and more structurally sound to demolish the East Wing to construct the ballroom, rather than build an addition, the official said. The new structure will also have enhanced security features, the official said.

[From The NY Times]

The few wide-perspective shots of that side of the White House already showed just how extensive the project is, but it’s pretty crazy that Trump has been lying his ass off for months, and then mid-demolition, he’s like “oh year, we’re taking this whole thing down.” Historic preservationists are really upset, obviously:

Photos of construction teams knocking down parts of the East Wing, first revealed by The Washington Post on Monday, shocked preservationists, raised questions about White House overreach and lack of transparency, and sparked complaints from Democrats that President Donald Trump was damaging “the People’s House” to pursue a personal priority.

“They’re wrecking it,” said Martha Joynt Kumar, a political scientist and professor emeritus at Towson University in Maryland. “And these are changes that can’t be undone. They’re destroying that history forever.”

A White House spokesman said that the “entirety” of the East Wing would eventually be “modernized and rebuilt.”

The National Trust for Historic Preservation, a nonprofit created by Congress to help preserve historic buildings, sent a letter Tuesday to administration officials, warning that the planned 90,000-square-foot ballroom “will overwhelm the White House itself,” which is about 55,000 square feet. “We respectfully urge the Administration and the National Park Service to pause demolition until plans for the proposed ballroom go through the legally required public review processes,” Carol Quillen, National Trust’s CEO, said in a statement, citing two federal commissions that have traditionally reviewed White House additions.

White House officials dismissed the criticism as “manufactured outrage,” arguing that past presidents had pursued their own changes to the executive campus as necessary. They said that the privately funded ballroom will be a “bold, necessary addition” to the presidential grounds.

“For more than a century, U.S. Presidents have been renovating, expanding, and modernizing the White House to meet the needs of the present day,” the White House’s rapid-response team posted on social media, listing examples of prior campus construction.

The Treasury Department on Monday evening instructed employees not to take or share photos of the construction project without permission, according to a person who spoke on the condition of anonymity to detail an internal email. The Treasury headquarters is next to the White House, with some of its offices providing a close view of the East Wing. But areas where the demolition is viewable are closed to the public, fueling criticism about the Trump administration’s lack of transparency.

One of the people who witnessed the demolition Tuesday said that views of the site from Treasury headquarters amplify the demolition, but a large part of the structure remained by late afternoon. However, it appeared that what remained was also headed for demolition, with no evidence that the structure was being protected and only jagged damage visible in the exposed building.

[From WaPo]

“U.S. Presidents have been renovating, expanding, and modernizing the White House to meet the needs of the present day.” Yeah, during the Cold War, the space UNDER the White House was dug out and filled with rooms/shelters and tunnels which could conceivably survive a massive bomb or terrorist attack. We’re not talking about security upgrades, nor are we talking about “Michelle Obama adding a vegetable garden.” Trump didn’t consult with anyone before ripping out the entire East Wing of the People’s House.

Jon Sheptock, Christian Musician Who Sang at Trump Rally, Arrested on Child Pornography Charges

by jummy84 October 23, 2025
written by jummy84

Jon Sheptock, a Christian musician and former worship minister at a Texas Baptist Church, was arrested in late September on charges of possession and production of child pornography.

As reported by ABC 13, the arrest came after his alleged victim testified that Sheptock stole a photo of her nine years ago, when she was 17. “After the defendant (Sheptock) sent the image of the victim, he told her that he wanted more explicit images of her,” reads the written testimony. “The defendant (Sheptock) then sent her a video depicting someone being physically assaulted, accompanied by a statement implying that he did not want that to happen to her.”

Court records also accuse Sheptock of showing the victim multiple nude photographs of adults and minors on his computer. The behavior allegedly continued as recently as last October, according to detectives, when Sheptock sent a text message with a nude photo of young girls to the alleged victim.

Several years before his arrest, according to The Independent, Sheptock sang the national anthem at a Donald Trump rally in January 2022 before posing for a photo with the now-president.

According to the Baptist Press, Sheptock’s now-deleted website said he was born with no arms and one leg shorter than the other before becoming “a thriving Christian recording artist and speaker.” He and his wife have been married for 26 years and have three daughters.

Sheptock served as a worship minister at the First Montgomery Baptist Church, which confirmed in a statement that he has been arrested on “charges related to child pornography,” and that he was “immediately removed” from “all responsibilities at the church.”

“He did not have responsibilities overseeing children in the church or school except occasionally in a large group setting with other adults,” the church added. “At this point, we have no information that indicates any of the children in our care were involved, but we are taking every precaution to protect our kids and to maintain the integrity of our ministry.”

Montgomery County Constable Ryan Gable said in a statement that detectives from his Human Trafficking and Child Exploitation Unit arrested Sheptock on September 26th at a women’s prison in Gatesville, Texas, where he had been providing ministry services to inmates.

If convicted, Sheptock faces between two and 20 years in prison.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell Says League Is Committed To Bad Bunny Super Bowl Halftime Show Despite Backlash From Trump Administration

The NFL is backing #BadBunny!

Commissioner #RogerGoodell doubled down on the league’s decision to have Bad Bunny headline next year’s #SuperBowl Halftime Show, saying the #NFL remains committed despite backlash from the Trump administration and others. Praising the Puerto Rican superstar’s reach, Goodell said, “He’s one of the leading and most popular entertainers in the world. That’s what we try to achieve. It’s an important stage for us. It’s an important element to the entertainment value, and it’s carefully thought through,” adding that criticism comes with virtually every selection.

Goodell also signaled the show could expand beyond a solo set, noting the halftime stage often features surprise guests alongside the headliner. Citing recent examples, he pointed to #KendrickLamar’s show with appearances from #SZA, Serena Williams and Samuel L. Jackson, as well as #Usher’s 2024 set that brought out #Ludacris, Alicia Keys and #LilJon. “I am not saying that there won’t be additional talent that might be involved but that’s always the way it works,” he said of the production, which is done in partnership with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation.

Are you happy with Bad Bunny headlining the halftime show?
