What Happens After the Apocalypse? ‘Greenland 2: Migration’ Trailer

“Do we think there’s anywhere that’s safe from all of this?” Lionsgate has revealed the first official trailer for Greenland 2: Migration, a disaster movie sci-fi sequel that is now an epic post-apocalyptic survival thriller movie. Hitting theaters January 2026 just after the New Year – the original Greenland also opened in January back in 2020. Remember that one? At the end of the first movie (spoilers!), this family barely makes it inside of the bunker and then the comet strikes Earth and destroys everything. In this continuation of the story, the Garrity family, who survived a near-extinction level event when an interstellar comet hits Earth, must leave the safety of their Greenland bunker (after 5 years) and embark upon a perilous journey across the decimated frozen wasteland of Europe to create a new home – somewhere in France. This stars Gerard Butler, Morena Baccarin, Roger Dale Floyd, Roman Griffin Davis, Amber Rose Revah, Trond Fausa Aurvåg. This sequel actually looks legit! Bigger & better, with just as much crazy realism depicting what would happen to Earth after a comet causes the apocalypse. Yep I’ll definitely be watching it.

Here’s the first trailer (+ poster) for Ric Roman Waugh’s sequel Greenland 2: Migration, from YouTube:

Ayushmann Khurrana And Rashmika Mandanna’s Thamma Trailer Promises A Thrilling Ride | Glamsham.com

by jummy84 September 27, 2025
written by jummy84

Thamma is turning out to be one of the most awaited releases this year. Directed by Maddock Films, the same production house behind last year’s hit film Stree 2, the horror comedy film has already caused a huge stir. On Thursday, the producers released a series of thrilling announcements, including a fresh poster unveiling lead actors Rashmika Mandanna and Ayushmann Khurrana. The poster did not just flaunt the fresh combination of the duo, but also teased a big announcement regarding Stree 3 in the pipeline.

Maddock Film releases trailer after much-wait with caption, “A forgotten legend from our folklore, #Thamma takes centre stage this Diwali!” After watching Ayushmann’s look in the trailer, a user commented, “Varun Dhawan’s Cameo In #Thamma.” Another praised, VARUN DHAWAN AS BHEDIYA IN THAMMA . Can’t wait for Bhediya vs Vampire #ThammaTrailer.”

Abhi se trailer ke ek ek frame ke liye speculation ho raha hai #ThammaTrailer pic.twitter.com/mZXiMn9kxb

— Rahul K (@rahul54279) September 24, 2025

The movie has a great supporting cast, consisting of Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Paresh Rawal, Faisal Malik, and Aparshakti Khurana, in addition to Ayushmann and Rashmika in the lead roles. With this talented pack, expectations are sky-high.

Thamma will open in theaters globally on October 21, coinciding with the Diwali festive weekend—a perfect release date for a mass entertainer. With the teaser creating such buzz and the horror-comedy genre being super popular in India, trade experts are looking for Thamma to have a great run at the box office.

As Maddock Films builds its horror-comedy franchise further, the announcement of Thamma and the positive response to the teaser further cement the brand image of providing such crowd-pleasers. With the added assurance of updates regarding Stree 3, fans have even more to get excited about in the days ahead.

Thamma Trailer: Ayushmann Khurrana Turns Into a Vampire, Clashes With Betaal and Bhediya

by jummy84 September 27, 2025
written by jummy84

Ayushmann Khurrana will be playing a vampire for the first time in the film Thamma. The trailer was released today at a grand event in the city, which was also attended by Shraddha Kapoor. While Shraddha is not a part of the main cast, her character Stree belongs to the same cinematic universe as Thamma. Before launching the trailer, Dinesh Vijan, Amar Kaushik, and Shraddha unveiled the logo of the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe.

The trailer plunges us straight into a bloody world where love bleeds, legends awaken, and humour turns too relatable. Rashmika Mandanna’s Tadaka revives a thousand-year-old legend, Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Yakshaashan makes a bone-chilling declaration, and Ayushmann Khurrana’s Alok finds himself with bloodshot eyes, no pulse, sunlight burning his skin. And at its heart lies a love story – bloody, wild, and unforgettable – making Thamma a complete entertainer that families can enjoy together this festive season.

The trailer starts with a woman telling a man that he is ‘Betaal’ and has been created to protect humans. However, he disagrees and says that he wants to harm humans and create more Betaals like him. This leads to him getting locked away in a cave for years. We are then introduced to Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s character. Years later, somehow Ayushmann’s character Alok comes face-to-face with Yakshaashan and turns into a vampire.

Watch the trailer here:

In addition to the trailer, Dinesh Vijan and Maddock Films also revealed the visual identity of Maddock’s Horror-Comedy Universe (MHCU), giving fans their first look at the evolving cinematic world that began with Stree and now expands in a bigger, bloodier way with Thamma. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik, Thamma blends horror, action, comedy, and romance into a cinematic experience unlike anything before. With an ensemble cast including Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Paresh Rawal, Faisal Malik, and Geeta Agrawal, the film promises a Diwali spectacle of epic proportions.

thamma

Ayushmann Khurrana said, “Becoming a part of Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock horror-comedy universe is a thrilling step in my journey as an actor. This genre has always fascinated me because it pushes boundaries – it makes you laugh, scares you, and yet touches your heart. In Thamma, I play Alok – a man who never asked for the extraordinary, but is forced to confront it. He’s flawed, vulnerable, and ambitious, and suddenly, he’s carrying the weight of powers he doesn’t fully understand. What excites me most is that this film is an entertainer, one that families across generations can watch and enjoy together this Diwali. Under Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik’s vision, Aditya Sarpotdar’s storytelling, and with the brilliant energies of Rashmika, Nawaz bhai, and Paresh ji, we’ve built something that I believe will define the next chapter of Indian cinema’s horror-comedy space. And trust me, this trailer is just a glimpse of the madness you are going to see on screen. The universe is only getting bigger from here.

Rashmika Mandanna, who has worked with Maddock Films before but, for the first time, will be seen as part of the MHCU, says, “Thamma is a very special film for me because it brings together horror, comedy, folklore, and even a love story rooted in India. Playing Tadaka has been both challenging and exciting, as she’s an age-old legend brought to life anew. I’m thankful to Maddock Films for giving me this opportunity once again, and I’m really looking forward to everyone experiencing Thamma.”

Aditya Sarpotdar, director, added, “With Munjya, we tapped into folklore to create a horror-comedy that felt rooted yet entertaining. Thamma takes the universe forward in an unexpected way – it’s scarier, funnier, and at its heart, a twisted love story. Being part of the MHCU is exciting because each film adds a new layer, and with Thamma, audiences will see just how wild this universe can get.”

“Bad blood runs deep.” IFC has revealed the official trailer for a revenge thriller film titled Violent Ends, an indie creation written and directed by John-Michael Powell as his second feature film. This will be out in limited theaters at the end of October – starting on Halloween – for anyone who wants to watch. A southern revenge crime thriller of star-crossed lovers set against the backdrop of the Ozark Mountains, Violent Ends chronicles the life of Lucas Frost, an honest man brought up in a crime family whose only legacy is violence. As Lucas tries to make a peaceful life of his own with his fiancée, Emma, he is suddenly pulled back into the family business when his cousin, Eli, perpetrates an armed robbery with brutal consequences. Starring Billy Magnussen as Lucas, James Badge Dale, Kate Burton, Ray McKinnon, Nick Stahl, & Alexandra Shipp as Emma. This looks better than it should, though another similar cliche crime story in a small town.

Director Ima Iduozee Talks Series ‘Sneakermania,’ Debuts Trailer

by jummy84 September 27, 2025
written by jummy84

“Sneakermania” shows no signs of slowing down.

In the upcoming eight-episode Finnish series, produced by Helsinki-filmi and set to be broadcast on YLE in February 2026, teenage sneakerhead Ola is determined to become a fashion influencer.

With his friend Bee, Ola – who lives for Air Jordan 1 Low OG Chicago – is trying to build a following and grow their TikTok channel. Until his former best friend Jay steals his thunder.

“The story shifts from lighthearted, friendly banter to moments of envy and dishonesty. While the tone often stays comedic, the characters face real challenges: moments that test their morals, motives, and the limits of what they’re willing to sacrifice,” said director Ima Iduozee.

One of the main themes is belonging, he stated.

“The desire to be seen, heard and accepted. Social media plays a central role in ‘Sneakermania,’ offering a space to create your self-image and brand, giving you a sense of autonomy over how others perceive you. For Ola, it becomes a way of gaining motion and respect.”

While there’s “a lot of great stuff coming out of Finland right now,” many stories still wait to be told, stressed Iduozee, also a choreographer for the first Finnish Netflix Original series “Dance Brothers.”

“We have so much more to offer than Nordic noir and detective dramas. I wanted to show a version of Helsinki that felt authentic to me. A generation of young creatives who are bold, self-determined and unafraid to go after what they want.”

Sneaker culture, which has evolved into a global phenomenon, felt like a perfect way in.

The series debuts its trailer here:

“For a massive number of young adults, sneakers are much more than shoes. They are a cultural language representing identity, creativity and community,” said Mia Ylönen, head of drama at Helsinki-filmi.

The company has also showcased anticipated thriller “Icebreaker” – awarded MipDrama’s Coup de Coeur – at the Helsinki industry event Finnish Film Affair. Set on a stranded boat in the middle of icy nowhere, it sees its crew members disappear, one by one.

According to Ylönen, “Sneakermania” taps into fashion, music and social media through its “magnetic lead characters that represent Helsinki in 2025.” “It’s a series about ambition, self-expression, fashion and, above all, a story about friendship.”

Led by first-time headwriter Vilja Keskimäki, the story features tracks from Finnish artists Turisti, Averagekidluke and Bizi.

“We brought fashion stylists, designers, dancers and influencers on board early during the production. It was important for us to collaborate with people who truly live the fashion, culture and music of the sneaker world.”

Ola might be “the beating heart and driving force” of the story, but he’s accompanied by a group of young adults.

“They share his passion for sneakers, DIY culture and creative self-expression, and the thrills of finding their place in the world while navigating friendship and ambition,” said Iduozee.

Ylönen added: “I believe Ima is the next best thing to come out of Finland: a young, creatively unique director whose vibrant vision is something we haven’t seen on Finnish screens before.”

“We were looking for the right project and when ‘Sneakermania’ landed on my table, I knew we had the perfect match.”

Shraddha Kapoor Announces Choti Stree at Thamma Trailer Launch

by jummy84 September 27, 2025
written by jummy84

Shraddha Kapoor’s exciting announcement during the trailer launch of the upcoming Maddock Horror Comedy Universe film, Thamma, has excited the fans. The event, which released the trailer for Thamma, which is releasing this Diwali on October 21, brought together its lead stars – Ayushmann Khurrana, Dinesh Vijan, the director Aditya Sarpotdar. However, the real buzz was generated by the universe’s original star, Shraddha Kapoor.

Shraddha Kapoor, who started the universe with the blockbuster Stree, was a special presence at the event. Addressing the crowd, she announced a brand-new project that will serve as a thrilling build-up before the much-awaited Stree 3.

This new project is titled Choti Stree, an animated film that will be released in theatres. The film is set to delve into the backstory of Shraddha Kapoor’s character, finally giving fans the answers they’ve been craving about the mysterious and powerful character. The film’s producer, Dinesh Vijan, explained the concept, stating that Choti Stree will end with a scene from Stree 3, bridging the two films and directly leading into the live-action sequel.

The producer mentioned that Choti Stree will release six months before Stree 3, meaning fans won’t have to wait too long to learn more about Stree’s past.

The Maddock Horror Comedy Universe, which began with Stree, has successfully grown with films like Munjya and Bhediya. The addition of Thamma marks a new chapter, introducing new faces and exploring different elements of Indian folklore. Dinesh Vijan highlighted the franchise’s mission to draw from India’s own “rich folklore.” He pointed out that Thamma, for instance, explores the concept of Betaal, figures deeply rooted in Indian culture, moving away from looking to the West for inspiration.

Dinesh Vijan also confirmed that Thamma will introduce two more characters, who will feature in films released after it, before eventually leading up to the sequel. He said that the universe acts as a “box where we cage a few monsters,” and that the growing success is thanks to the industry becoming “proud of who we are” and finding unique stories within India’s history.

The announcement of Choti Stree clearly shows the makers are focused on building a deep, interconnected world. This animated feature is a bold step, aiming to cater to a broader audience, including children and families, while adding depth to the original character of the universe.

Thamma Trailer Review: Ayushmann Khurrana Turns Vampire, Rashmika Mandanna Joins Maddock’s Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU) | Glamsham.com

The trailer of Maddock’s Thamma is out! Starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Paresh Rawal and Sathyaraj, the film blends horror, comedy, romance and mythology. The MHCU just got bigger and bloodier.

Aditya Sarpotdar, fresh off the success of Munjya, returns with Thamma—and the trailer makes it clear this is Maddock’s most ambitious step yet in its growing Horror Comedy Universe. Headlined by Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Paresh Rawal, and Sathyaraj, the film looks like a full-blown entertainer that marries myth, horror, romance, and laughter in one bloody cocktail.

Ayushmann, with his “boy next door with fangs” vibe, instantly hooks. Rashmika plays more than just a glam quotient—her Tadaka feels integral to the mythology. Nawazuddin, stepping into uncharted territory as the rogue Betaal Yakshasan, looks menacing yet mischievous, while Paresh Rawal lands the punches and Sathyaraj lends gravitas. Add to this Varun Dhawan’s surprise Bhediya cameo, and suddenly Thamma doesn’t just tease a standalone film but a crossover event in the making.

Visually, the trailer is rich—dark palettes lit with striking reds, comic beats punctuating eerie silences, and an undercurrent of folklore giving the film heft. The MHCU’s signature—scares blended with wit—is intact, but this time layered with romance and mythology, hinting at higher emotional stakes.

Slated for a Diwali 2025 release (October 21), Thamma promises to be a festive blockbuster with teeth. For fans of Stree, Bhediya and Munjya, this one looks like the bloodiest, boldest ride yet.

“This tournament is the ultimate convergence of chaos and order.” Samuel Goldwyn Films has unveiled an official trailer for a movie called Gladiator Underground, a martial arts action thriller. Obviously about an underground fighting tournament, just like Mortal Kombat and so many other action movies before this. Goldwyn is dropping this on VOD in October if anyone wants to watch. Two brothers, Max and Wu (Andy Le and D.Y. Sao), compete in the world’s deadliest underground fighting tournament where they must decide whether to play by the rules or to cast their honor aside and team up t theno bring down the dark syndicate running the tournament. Will they pull it off? The cast includes D.Y. Sao, Andy Le, Brian Le, Craig Ng, Apasiri Kulthanan, Selina Wiesmann, Geoffrey Giuliano, Bear Williams, Elliott Allison, Ron Smoorenburg, Sahajak Boonthanakit, and Byron Bishop. “Witness the birth of the next generation of combat! From the stunt team behind Everything Everywhere All At Once…” This looks like it has some badass fight scenes (thanks to Andy & Brian Le), though the rest of it seems pretty bland and uninteresting.

Here’s the trailer (+ poster) for Chaya Supannarat’s film Gladiator Underground, from YouTube:

Gladiator Underground Trailer

Gladiator Underground Poster

Max and Wu, two estranged brothers, are competing in the world’s most dangerous underground fighting tournament, where powerful crimelords gamble and dictate who they fight and what weapons are used. In this high-stakes bloodsport, one wrong move means certain death. The brothers must decide whether to play by the rules – or to cast their honor aside and team up against the syndicate controlling the system, risking everything to bring it down. Gladiator Underground is directed by the Thai-American producer / filmmaker Chaya Supannarat, director of the film Bangkok Dog previously, plus many other short films. The screenplay is written by Ariel Bleiberg. Produced by Ehud Bleiberg, Ariel Bleiberg, Charlie LaHie, D.Y. Sao. This hasn’t premiered at any fests or elsewhere, as far as we know. Goldwyn Films debuts Supannarat’s Gladiator Underground action film direct-to-VOD starting October 17th, 2025 this fall. Want to watch?
