“To a better Brazil, with less mischief.” 🇧🇷 Neon has debuted the full official US trailer for the acclaimed Brazilian film titled The Secret Agent or O Agente Secreto, the latest from Brazilian filmmaker Kleber Mendonça Filho. This first premiered at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival to rave reviews, and it went on to win both Best Actor and Best Director awards at the fest. Now opening in US theaters starting in November this fall during the awards season. In 1977, a tech researcher flees from a mysterious past and returns to his hometown of Recife in North Brazil in search of peace. He soon realizes that the city is far from being the safe refuge he seeks. Wagner Moura stars in this as the “secret agent” Marcelo. Master filmmaker Kleber Mendonca Filho teams up with renowned Brazilian actor Wagner Moura – giving an extraordinary, career-defining performance – to craft a thrillingly unpredictable, playfully shape-shifting epic steeped in history even as it feels contemporary, paying affectionate tribute to many movies in Filho’s youth while unfolding against the backdrop of political turmoil and palpable danger. After playing at TIFF & NYFF it’s regarded as one of the best foreign films of the year with a brilliant performance by Moura. Absolutely worth your time.

Here’s the official US trailer (+ poster) for Kleber Mendonça Filho’s film The Secret Agent, via YouTube:

Amid the raucous revelry of Carnival week, a widower named Marcelo (Wagner Moura) arrives in 1977 in Recife, Brazil, a city as vibrant as it is violent. A researcher who finds himself an unwitting target in the heart of the dictatorship’s political maelstrom, Marcelo is a man on the run from mercenary killers, from ghosts of the past & from the ruthless, mischievously militant spirit of Brazil in 1977. In the midst of these mounting threats, Marcelo, with the help of a mysterious woman named Elza and her compatriots in the country’s growing underground resistance, remains primarily focused on escaping Brazil with his young son. The Secret Agent, also known as O Agente Secreto in Portuguese, is written and directed by acclaimed Brazilian writer / director Kleber Mendonça Filho, director of the films Neighboring Sounds, Aquarius, Bacurau, Crítico, Pictures of Ghosts, and many other short films. It’s produced by Emilie Lesclaux, Wagner Moura, Kleber Mendonça Filho. This initially premiered at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival earlier this year. Neon debuts The Secret Agent in select US theaters starting on November 26th, 2025 this fall. Intrigued?

UFO Documentary Gets Release Date, Trailer

by jummy84 October 16, 2025
written by jummy84

“The Age of Disclosure,” Dan Farah‘s buzzy documentary that aims to establish that we’re not alone in the universe, is finally making its way to the masses.

The film will have an Oscar-qualifying run in select theaters in New York and Los Angeles beginning on Nov. 21 along with a concurrent release on Amazon Prime Video. Additionally, a new trailer for the film was released on Thursday.

Per the official description, “The Age of Disclosure” documents “an 80-year global cover-up of non-human intelligent life and a secret war among major nations to reverse-engineer advanced technology of non-human origin. Featuring testimony from 34 members of the U.S. Government, military and intelligence communities, the film exposes the profound stakes for the future of humanity.”

One of the key voices in the film is Jay Stratton, former Defense Intelligence Agency official and director of the government’s UAP Task Force. As seen in the trailer, he says, “I have seen, with my own eyes, non-human craft and non-human beings.”

Farah, a debut feature director, spent three years making “The Age of Disclosure” in secrecy, seeking out sources with direct knowledge of the government’s work around UAPs (unidentified anomalous phenomena, the more formal term for UFOs). Among the interviewees are high-ranking politicians from both the Democratic and Republican parties, such as secretary of state Marco Rubio and senator Kirsten Gillibrand, as the congressional hearings about UAPs and the proposed UAP Disclosure Act have seen major bipartisan support.

“The Age of Disclosure” has had significant word-of-mouth momentum behind it all year even without a public distribution plan; the initial trailer quickly reached more than 20 million views across YouTube and social media when it was dropped in January leading up to the film’s premiere at SXSW in March.

Farah directed and produced “The Age of Disclosure” via his Farah Films banner. Relentless Releasing serves as distributor.

“We are asking for your help in protecting our villages.” Screen International has revealed the first official trailer for an acclaimed new film titled Palestine 36, made by Palestinian filmmaker Annemarie Jacir as her fourth feature film so far. This recently premiered at the 2025 Toronto Film Festival last month, and it next plays at AFI Fest and the Denver Film Festival. It’s also Palestine’s submission to the Oscars this year. The film is set during the years 1936 – 1939 and follows a man navigating between Jerusalem and his rural home amid escalating unrest with the British Empire rulers at the time. This is just before the Holocaust and the British Mandate in 1947 & 1948 that would lead to the creation of the State of Israel after 1945. Back in 1936, as Palestinian villages revolt against British colonial rule, Yusuf navigates between Jerusalem and his rural home, amidst escalating unrest and a pivotal moment for the British Empire. The fascinating film stars Hiam Abbass, Saleh Bakri, Robert Aramayo, Billy Howle, Liam Cunningham, Yasmine Al-Massri, Dafer L’Abidine, Yumna Marwan, Karim Daoud Anaya, and Jeremy Irons. This looks like a riveting story digging into the past and shedding light on the truth on the great awfulness of imperialism.

Here’s the first official trailer for Annemarie Jacir’s film Palestine 36, direct from Screen’s YouTube:

Palestine 36 Poster

Intro from TIFF: “Rare archival footage sets the stage, providing a potent counterpoint to the dramatic action: Jerusalem’s bustling mix of peoples in the wake of the Ottoman Empire’s dissolution, migration of European Jews fleeing the Nazis, and British attempts to impose colonial rule. In the midst of this, Yusuf (Karim Daoud Anaya) shunts between his traditional village & the rapidly changing city. Afra (Wardi Eilabouni) tries to navigate change with the aid of her grandmother (Hiam Abbass). A dissatisfied port worker (Saleh Bakri) finds the pressures of earning a living and supporting his family drawing him into a rebel movement. Can British officialdom, represented powerfully by Irons, even keep up?” Palestine 36, also known as فلسطين ٣٦ in Arabic, is written and directed by the Palestinian filmmaker Annemarie Jacir, director of the films Salt of This Sea, When I Saw You, Wajib, and episodes of the series “Ramy” previously. It’s produced by Ossama Bawardi, Cat Villiers, Azzam Fakhreddin, Hani Farsi, Nils Åstrand, Olivier Barbier, Nathanaël Karmitz, Katrin Pors, Hamza Ali. This initially premiered at the 2025 Toronto Film Festival this fall. It will continue to play at more festivals – no US release date is set yet. Stay tuned for more. Intrigued?

Paresh Rawal Takes A Stand For Truth In The Taj Story Trailer – You Won’t Want To Miss This! | Glamsham.com

written by jummy84

The trailer for The Taj Story, a bold courtroom drama starring veteran actor Paresh Rawal, has officially been unveiled, offering a provocative glimpse into what promises to be one of the most thought-provoking films of the year. Slated for theatrical release on October 31, 2025, the film challenges long-held narratives surrounding the Taj Mahal and invites viewers to question history with a critical eye.

Written and directed by Tushar Amrish Goel and produced by Warnim Global Services Pvt. Ltd. along with CA Suresh Jha, the film explores themes of truth, belief, and intellectual freedom. Creative producer Vikas Radhesham ensures that the film strikes a balance between compelling drama and philosophical depth.

In The Taj Story, Paresh Rawal plays Vishnu Das, a passionate guide determined to uncover the “real” story behind India’s most iconic monument. His quest for truth brings him face to face with powerful ideological forces, leading to fierce courtroom battles. Zakir Hussain plays a key opposing counsel, and their intense legal face-offs form the core of the narrative.

The trailer features sharp visuals, hard-hitting dialogues, and a storyline that promises more than just entertainment. “Vishnu Das is rooted in conviction,” Rawal shared. “This film doesn’t shy away from asking uncomfortable questions and encourages audiences to reflect honestly on history.”

Director Goel added, “The Taj Story is more than a film — it’s a cinematic debate. We hope it sparks meaningful dialogue.”

The cast also includes Amruta Khanvilkar, Sneha Wagh, and Namit Das in pivotal roles. Music is composed by Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dev Nath. Positioned as a fearless social drama, The Taj Story dares to ask: “Even after 79 years of Independence, are we still slaves of intellectual terrorism?”

Delhi Crime Season 3 Trailer Out! ‘Madam Sir’ Shefali Shah, ‘Badi Didi’ Huma Qureshi Face Off In The Biggest Case And A Nationwide Chase- Watch

by jummy84 October 16, 2025
written by jummy84

Two forces on either side of the law, a crime that traverses the span of the country and beyond, and a chase that reveals the hidden realities of society around us. Netflix India’s acclaimed International Emmy-winning true crime drama series returns on November 13, for a third season with their biggest case that rattles not just the capital, but the entire nation. Madam Sir, reprised by Shefali Shah, and her formidable team come face-to-face with Badi Didi (Huma Qureshi) – the ruthless mastermind who builds her empire by trading away the future of young girls. An abandoned baby unravels a trail so deadly it exposes the brutal realities of human trafficking, setting off a harrowing nationwide cat and mouse chase in pursuit of the perpetrators.

Delhi Crime Season 3 To Release On November 13

Tanuj Chopra returns to direct Delhi Crime S3, along with actors Shefali Shah, Rasika Dugal (as Neeti Singh), Rajesh Tailang (as Bhupendra Singh), Jaya Bhattacharya (as Vimla Baradwaj) and Anuraag Arora (as Jairaj Singh) reprising their roles. The cast is joined by Huma Qureshi, Sayani Gupta, Mita Vasisht, Kelly Dorji and Anshumaan Pushkar in powerful performances that bring to life the series’ most thrilling season yet.

Shefali Shah, reprising her role as DCP Vartika Chaturvedi, shares, “Returning as Madam Sir always feels deeply personal. Her significance, both to me and in today’s times, has only grown stronger in my eyes. Vartika is fighting an enemy that not only crosses borders, but also exists in the shadow of everyday society. Human trafficking isn’t the act of a few; it’s the symptom of a society that looks the other way. But Vartika, true to who she is, keeps fighting anyway, even if it means saving just one life from the clutches of this murky world.”

Huma Qureshi, joining the franchise as Meena, shares, “Playing a negative role, especially of a character like Meena, was a powerful yet unsettling experience. She’s shaped by trauma, yet wields immense control; she’s a woman who’s both victim and perpetrator.. That’s what drew me to Delhi Crime: its honesty. It never glorifies or sensationalises. It forces us to confront uncomfortable truths that often hide in plain sight. ”

Delhi Crime returns with a real and urgent chapter as the lines between duty, morality, and survival blur in this gripping new case. As threads of a nationwide conspiracy unravel, can Madam Sir stay one step ahead of the crime? Delhi Crime Season 3 premieres November 13, only on Netflix.

“You think I’m flirting with you?” “Aren’t you?” “Absolutely.” Oooh la la! Netflix has revealed their official trailer for another new romantic comedy arriving this fall for streaming at home. Champagne Problems is the latest creation from the director of Love, Guaranteed and Love in the Villa. A driven American exec heads to Paris determined to acquire a champagne brand by Christmas — and accidentally falls for the heir to the bubbly empire. Starring Minka Kelly as the exec and Tom Wozniczka as the hunky French beau, Champagne Problems is this Holiday season’s reminder that one simple evening can turn into something special and that Christmas in France is always a good idea. Sydney is a determined American executive who travels to France to secure the acquisition of a world-renowned champagne brand before Christmas, but her plans are upended when she falls into a whirlwind romance – who turns out to be the founder’s son. Also starring Thibault de Montalemert, Sean Amsing, Flula Borg, Astrid Whettnall, Xavier Samuel, Mitchell Mullen, and Maeve Courtier-Lilley. This looks sweet & fun – though very weird Die Hard joke.

Here’s the first official trailer for Mark Steven Johnson’s film Champagne Problems, from YouTube:

Sydney Price (Minka Kelly) is a determined emerging executive who finally gets a chance to lead a major acquisition for Chateau Cassell, a beloved champagne house nestled in the heart of the Champagne region. When she hears she has been summoned to France around Christmas as part of the negotiations, she arrives in the city of lights with a hopeful heart & ready to close the deal. Taking one night off to soak in the magic of Paris over the holidays, she has an unexpectedly charming run-in with Henri Cassell (Tom Wozniczka), a stranger who turns one simple evening into something special. Her plans for a whirlwind romance are quickly upended when she discovers that this charming Parisian is the founder’s son of the very company she is hoping to acquire. Yet, even amidst gentle competition set by Hugo Cassell (Thibault de Montalemert) for all the potential buyers at the family vineyard, Sydney and Henri find themselves irresistibly drawn to each other, realizing that their burgeoning feelings might be hard to keep bottled up.

Champagne Problems is written and directed by the American writer / filmmaker Mark Steven Johnson, director of the movies Simon Birch, Daredevil, Ghost Rider, When In Rome, Killing Season, Finding Steve McQueen, Love Guaranteed, and Love in the Villa previously. It’s produced by Stephanie Slack, Margret H. Huddleston, Mark Steven Johnson. Netflix will debut Mark Steven Johnson’s Champagne Problems film streaming on Netflix worldwide starting November 19th, 2025 this fall. Look fun? Who wants to watch?

“I found it…” “Where’s the rest of it?” Aura Entertainment has unveiled an official trailer for a movie called Ice Fall, an action thriller made by filmmaker Stefan Ruzowitzky (best known for The Counterfeiters movie in 2007). Alas this is another of these junky action movies being dumped direct-to-video like the old days, but now that just means out on VOD right away. And, surprise surprise, it doesn’t look any good. The story revolves around a young Native American game warden who captures a notorious poacher only to learn that the poacher is aware of the location of a plane carrying millions of dollars that has crashed in a frozen lake. When criminals & corrupt cops close in, the unlikely pair must fight to survive & escape across the ice. This stars Danny Huston, Joel Kinnaman, Graham Greene, Frida Gustavsson, and DeVaughn Nixon. Aside from this being a Cliffhanger ripoff, this whole movie looks absolutely awful… Not even VOD worthy.

Here’s the official trailer (+ poster) for Stefan Ruzowitzky’s action movie Ice Fall, direct from YouTube:

“To Find Redemption, You’ll Have to Break Through.” 🧊 A young Indigenous game warden arrests a notorious poacher, only to learn he knows the location of a plane full of cash that crashed in a frozen lake. When criminals and corrupt cops close in, the unlikely pair must fight to survive and escape across the melting ice. Ice Fall is directed by Austrian filmmaker Stefan Ruzowitzky, director of the films Tempo, The Inheritors, Anatomy 1 & 2, All the Queen’s Men, The Counterfeiters, Deadfall, Radical Evil, Cold Hell, Patient Zero, Narcissus and Goldmund, Hinterland, and the series “8 Days” & “Barbarians”. The screenplay is written by Steve Isles and George Mahaffey. Produced by Dimo Aleksandrov, Vladimir Artemenko, Addam Bramich, Gary Hamilton, Ryan Hamilton, Robert Van Norden, & Ying Ye. Aura Entertainment will debut Ruzowitzky’s Ice Fall movie direct-to-VOD starting November 4th, 2025 this fall. Anyone want to watch?

Send Help Trailer: Rachel McAdams and Dylan O’Brien Stranded on a Deserted Island

by jummy84 October 16, 2025
written by jummy84

The first poster and trailer for Send Help, a darkly comedic psychological thriller from Sam Raimi, are finally here, giving us our first real look at the film before it hits theatres in January 2026. Known for his unique mix of suspense, humour and thrilling twists, Raimi promises a story that keeps audiences on edge while sneaking in unexpected laughs along the way.

The story follows Linda Liddle, played by Rachel McAdams, and Bradley Preston, played by Dylan O’Brien, two coworkers who survive a plane crash only to find themselves alone on a deserted island. What starts as a fight for survival soon becomes a tense and unpredictable game of wits as old tensions and personal conflicts come to the surface. It’s a story that shows how isolation and extreme situations can bring out both the best and worst in people, with moments that are as funny as they are intense.

Raimi says he’s always been drawn to stories where interesting characters are pushed to their limits. “The power shifts create an escalating situation that’s brimming with unexpected turns and suspense,” he says. The trailer gives a taste of this, teasing clever strategies, tense confrontations and plenty of darkly funny moments that keep you guessing what will happen next.

Send Help

Alongside McAdams and O’Brien, the film features Edyll Ismail, Dennis Haysbert, Xavier Samuel, Chris Pang, Thaneth Warakulnukroh and Emma Raimi. Produced by Raimi and Zainab Azizi, with a screenplay by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift and music by Danny Elfman, Send Help isn’t just a survival story. It’s a thrilling, darkly funny look at human nature and how far people will go when pushed to the edge. It’s set to release in Indian cinemas in January 2026, offering audiences a tense, gripping and surprisingly witty ride from start to finish.

“The actors are doing everything that you see a character doing.” Disney has unveiled a new official trailer for a making of documentary called Fire and Water: Making The Avatar Films. This 2-part doc event will be available on November 7th streaming on Disney+. Part of the promotion for the upcoming Avatar 3 movie out in December. The story continues following Jake & Neytiri’s family while they keep growing, with more troubles as the brutal RDA comes after them. They also encounter a dangerous Ash Clan of flying Na’vi – who end up working with Quaritch against the other Na’vi tribes. James Cameron’s Fire & Ash stars Sam Worthington as Jake, Zoe Saldana as Neytiri, Sigourney Weaver as Kiri, Stephen Lang as Quaritch, Britain Dalton as Lo’ak, Jack Champion as “Spider”, Bailey Bass as Reya, Trinity Bliss as Tuk, Kate Winslet as Ronal, Filip Geljo, Edie Falco, Cliff Curtis, David Thewlis, Keston John, Joel David Moore, Jemaine Clement, plus Oona Chaplin as Varang of the Ash Clan. I actually really enjoy these behind-the-scenes looks at Avatar because we not only get to check the actors in their MoCap outfits, we also get to see how much money they spend on every single aspect of this movie. From the costume designs, to the creature designs, to the shooting space, to the VFX rigs, everything… I will definitely be watching this.

“You go live tomorrow, Rita.” Warner Bros Japan has just debuted their main official trailer for a fresh new anime adaptation of the classic time loop novel All You Need is Kill. This movie is a Hiroshi Sakurazaka production with animation by STUDIO4°C in Japan, directed by Kenichiro Akimoto. Now set for release in Japan in January 2026 after playing at a few festivals this fall. Many will remember this title, as All You Need is Kill is the same story that was adapted & turned into the awesome time loop action thriller Edge of Tomorrow (aka Live Die Repeat) with Tom Cruise & Emily Blunt. After an unidentified plant from outer space invades, Rita finds herself trapped in a time loop, forced to relive the same day over and over again. Her memories and experiences sharpen her skills, turning her into a formidable warrior. Yet, the endless cycle of death and solitude begins to wear her down. However, one day she meets Keiji, who says, “When you die, I return, too…” Together, they begin to carve out a new future together. Featuring the voices of Ai Mikami & Natsuki Hanae as Rita & Keiji, plus Kana Hanazawa, Hiccorohee, and mo-junior high school. It’s such a colorful, spunky, unique anime version of the story. A must watch for sci-fi geeks! Enjoy.
