Olivia Rodrigo closed out her blockbuster Guts World Tour with a secret show in New York City on Thursday night (Oct. 23), playing to an intimate crowd of fans, friends, and celebrity guests inside the historic Park Avenue Armory.

The invite-only event, hosted by American Express, featured a setlist packed with fan favorites — including “Drivers License,” “Vampire,” “Deja Vu” and “Sour” — as well as the rare live performance of “Lacy,” a track that has taken on a viral life of its own since being featured on the TV series The Summer I Turned Pretty.

“Ever since it was in that show, people have been chanting at me at concerts to sing this song if I wasn’t going to sing it,” Rodrigo told the crowd. “And so I’m really grateful to that show, and I’m really grateful to you guys for listening to this song and streaming it, because it’s always been one of my favorites.”

The “Good 4 U” singer also welcomed young fans from the Make-A-Wish Foundation, meeting with several attendees before the show. Proceeds from ticket sales benefited Rodrigo’s own Fund 4 Good, an initiative launched to support education, reproductive rights, and young women’s leadership programs.

Among those in attendance were Emily in Paris star Ashley Park, The Bear’s Molly Gordon, Vampire Diaries alum Nina Dobrev, makeup artist Patrick Ta, Good American founder Emma Grede, and interior designer Jeremiah Brent.

Rodrigo performed beneath the soaring arches of the Armory’s Drill Hall — a venue steeped in New York military history — which once housed the Seventh Regiment of the National Guard, the first volunteer militia to answer Abraham Lincoln’s call in 1861.

The secret concert marked the final stop on Rodrigo’s Guts World Tour, which kicked off earlier this year in Palm Springs and has since spanned over 75 dates across North America and Europe.

Rodrigo has placed 30 songs on the Billboard Hot 100. Her 2021 hit “Drivers License” was No. 1 for a whopping eight weeks. In total so far, she has three Hot 100 No. 1s and made headlines for her 2025 Lollapalooza performance, including a set during which she brought out Weezer.

My Bloody Valentine announce support acts for 2025 UK and Ireland tour

by jummy84 October 25, 2025
written by jummy84

My Bloody Valentine have announced the support acts for their upcoming dates in the UK and Ireland.

In March, the band confirmed that they would be playing their first UK headline tour in over 10 years, with huge dates at Dublin’s 3Arena (their first non-festival show in their home country since 1992), Manchester’s Aviva Studios, London’s Wembley Arena and Glasgow’s OVO Hydro in November.

Now, they have revealed that they will be joined by J Mascis for the London and Glasgow shows on November 25 and 27 respectively, while Maria Somerville will open for them in Dublin and Manchester on November 22 and 24.

Tickets have been on sale since the shows were announced in March and you can find any remaining tickets here.

Mascis is the singer and guitarist with Dinosaur Jr. and has been an acquaintance of My Bloody Valentine for a long time. The two bands played together on the 1992 Rollercoaster Tour, an offshoot of the Lollapalooza Festival.

In 2023, MBV’s Kevin Shields joined Dinosaur Jr. on stage in London’s The Garage, playing songs from each other’s back catalogues, as well as The Cure’s ‘Just Like Heaven’.

Somerville, meanwhile, is an Irish shoegaze and folk artist that released her second album ‘Luster’ in April this year via 4AD.

These shows will be My Bloody Valentine’s first live performances in nearly seven years, since they toured North America in 2018. They will also be playing at Primavera Sound in June next year, alongside headliners The Cure, Gorillaz, The xx, Doja Cat and Massive Attack.

Their latest album was the 2013 comeback record ‘mbv’. In the time since, the members revealed in 2021 that they were working on two new albums for Domino, and Shields said that the first would contain “warm and melodic” material while the second would be more experimental.

Outside of the band, Shields has also gone on to share solo material, dropping it in a subtle way by concealing it within his range of custom guitar pedals.

Guns N’ Roses to Embark on US Tour in 2026

by jummy84 October 24, 2025
written by jummy84

Guns N’ Roses have toured extensively internationally this year, but haven’t played the United States since November 2023. According to Slash, the band is “definitely doing a US run next year.”

Slash revealed the news during an appearance on the SiriusXM show Trunk Nation, after host Eddie Trunk asked him flat out if GN’R were planning to announce any US shows in the near future. “I can say, we’re definitely doing a US run next year,” responded the guitarist, who added, “[An announcement will] be coming soon, so I can safely say that that’s happening. So we’ve been doing a bunch of international stuff all year so we have to come back to the States, so we planned for next year.”

Earlier this month, Slash told Guitar World that Guns N’ Roses have “so much material” for a new album, and that the long-awaited follow-up to Chinese Democracy is “coming.”

The group recently posted the back cover to the upcoming LP, which contains 12 songs overall. The album opens with F+TM’s two recent singles, ahead of cuts titled ‘Witch Dance’, ‘Sympathy Magic’, ‘Perfume And Milk’, ‘Buckle’ and ‘Kraken’.

The rest of the record is comprised of the tracks ‘The Old Religion’, ‘Drink Deep’, ‘Music By Men’ and ‘You Can Have It All’, before concluding with ‘And Love’.

Welch previously revealed that the inspiration for the ‘Everybody Scream’ album came from undergoing lifesaving surgery during the ‘Dance Fever’ tour in 2023. She has since opened up further about the procedure, revealing that she had suffered an ectopic pregnancy.

“The closest I came to making life was the closest I came to death,” she explained in a recent interview. “And I felt like I had stepped through this door, and it was just full of women, screaming.”

Earlier, she had touched on exploring spiritual mysticism and folk horror – understanding the limits of her body and questioning what it meant to be “healed”. These are themes that helped shape the record, along with exploration of womanhood, partnership, ageing and dying.

The upcoming album features contributions from IDLES‘ Mark Bowen, Mitski and The National’s Aaron Dessner – all of whom worked with Welch on the title track, too.

Additionally, Welch has talked about being inspired by JADE and the current “experimental” side of pop on her “most personal” LP yet. She also looked back on working with “one of [her] favourite artists of all time”, Mitski.

Florence + The Machine are set to embark on a UK and European arena tour in February. The run of shows includes two nights at The O2 in London – find any remaining tickets here.

Foo Fighters Book 2026 Stadium Tour, Drop New Song

by jummy84 October 24, 2025
written by jummy84

As expected following a series of recent surprise club shows that introduced new drummer Ilan Rubin, Foo Fighters will embark on a North American stadium tour next summer. The Dave Grohl-led group has also released its second fresh tune of the year, the ferocious “Asking for a Friend,” ahead of an anticipated new album at some point in 2026.

The tour will begin Aug. 4 in Toronto and conclude Sept. 26 in Las Vegas, although more dates will be announced. Queens of the Stone Age will support on all but the Sept. 12 gig in Fargo, N.D., while Mannequin Pussy and Gouge Away will open at various points. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Oct. 31.

In a long Substack post, Grohl described “Asking for a Friend” as “a song for those who have waited patiently in the cold, relying on hope and faith for their horizon to appear. Searching for ‘proof’ when hanging by a wish until the sun shines again. One of many songs to come…”

Without directly mentioning the circumstances that led to the Foos’ abrupt tour cancelation in 2023, Grohl acknowledged that “since our return to the stage in San Luis Obispo five weeks ago, we have been reminded of why we love and are forever devoted to doing this Foo Fighters thing. From reuniting as a band and staring at a list of 30 years’ worth of songs to brush off, to reimagining versions with the incredible blessing of the one and only Ilan Rubin behind the drums, to reconnecting with our amazing fans and blasting them with everything we’ve got (no matter the size of the venue) because we would not be here without them, we have the most solid core. And the sun is finally rising over the horizon.”

He also saluted Queens of the Stone Age, with whom he has frequently recorded and performed since the early 2000s (the two groups share a manager in John Silva). “What better way to share the view than with close friends? In 1992, I first saw the legendary Kyuss perform at the Off Ramp in Seattle and met Mr. Josh Homme. The band were friends of a friend, and before long their album Blues for the Red Sun became the soundtrack to that summer. 33 years later and with many miles behind us, I have shared some of my life’s most rewarding musical moments with my dear friend, Josh. A lifelong bond that goes far beyond the sound we’ve made together. So, it is with great happiness that we can share this next chapter together with his almighty Queens of the Stone Age. Take cover.”

Foo Fighters’ final shows of the year will take place Nov. 12 in Monterrey, Mexico, and two days later at the Corona Capital festival in Mexico City. The group will also perform Oct. 30 as part of Amazon Music Live’s new season.

Here are Foo Fighters’ 2026 tour dates:

Aug, 4: Toronto (Rogers Stadium)
Aug. 6: Detroit (Ford Field)
Aug. 8: Chicago (Soldier Field)
Aug. 10: Cleveland (Huntington Bank Field)
Aug. 13: Philadelphia (Lincoln Financial Field)
Aug. 15: Nashville (Nissan Stadium)
Aug. 17: Washington, D.C. (Nationals Park)
Sept. 12: Fargo, N.D. (Fargodome)
Sept. 15: Regina, Sk. (Mosaic Stadium at Taylor Field)
Sept. 17: Edmonton, Ab. (Commonwealth Stadium)
Sept. 20: Vancouver (BC Place)

“I just want to write something that helps people.” Lionsgate has revealed the official trailer for a movie called I Can Only Imagine 2, a sequel to the faith-based music movie hit I Can Only Imagine from 2018. Inspired by the life story of musician Bart Millard and his band MercyMe, this sequel continues on the next steps forward following up on the sudden success seen in the first movie. It’s opening in theaters next February. From co-directors Andrew Erwin and Brent McCorkle, starring John Michael Finley back again in the lead role. Bart Millard, lead singer of MercyMe, faces a personal crisis at the peak of his success. As his world unravels, he struggles with his beliefs & inner demons while seeking a path through adversity. Based on the heartfelt true story behind the hit single “Even If” (listen to it here), I Can Only Imagine 2 is the inspiring next chapter of faith, family, and finding God in the fire. This sequel stars John Michael Finley, Milo Ventimiglia, Sophie Skelton, Arielle Kebbel, Sammy Dell, with Trace Adkins and Dennis Quaid. This definitely is not my jam at all, but I’m sure there are many fans out there who can’t wait for it.

Here’s the official trailer (+ poster) for Erwin & McCorkle’s sequel I Can Only Imagine 2, from YouTube:

“Returning to the world of Imagine has been a deeply personal and profoundly moving journey—for me and for so many who helped bring this uplifting story to life. Its themes of finding gratitude in our grief and discovering beauty that rises from ashes feel more relevant now than ever. Watching this chapter of Bart and Tim’s story unfold for the big screen has been an honor. I ca’’t wait for audiences everywhere to experience it this February.” –Co-director Brent McCorkle

I Can Only Imagine 2 Poster

I Can Only Imagine 2 Poster

After the breakout success of the song “I Can Only Imagine,” MercyMe’s Bart Millard (featuring John Michael Finley returning again) is living the dream—sold-out arenas, a devoted fan base, and a thriving career. But behind the spotlight, Bart’s past threatens the family he’s built, especially the fragile bond with his son, Sam (Sammy Dell). When hopeful newcomer Tim Timmons (Milo Ventimiglia) joins the band for their biggest tour yet, he unknowingly brings a renewed gratitude to Bart’s life through their unlikely friendship. Bart soon discovers that Tim carries hardships—and secrets—of his own, forcing him to face his past and repair his relationships with Sam and his wife, Shannon (Sophie Skelton), before fame costs him what matters most. I Can Only Imagine 2 is co-directed by faith-based filmmakers Andrew Erwin (of October Baby, Woodlawn, I Can Only Imagine, I Still Believe, American Underdog, The Jesus Music) & Brent McCorkle (of Unconditional, Jesus Revolution). The screenplay is by Brent McCorkle. Produced by Kevin Downes, Andrew Erwin, Cindy Bond, Bart Millard, Daryl Lefever, Joshua Walsh. Lionsgate will debut I Can Only Imagine 2 in theaters nationwide starting February 20th, 2026 early next year. Looks good?

Bon Jovi have only played a handful of one-off gigs since completing a Spring 2022 tour, as Jon Bon Jovi recovered from a vocal-cord issue which required surgery, and left him wondering if he’d ever be able to tour again. In a press release, the frontman expressed his gratitude to fans for their patience during his healing process:

“There is a lot of joy in this announcement — joy that we can share these nights together with our amazing fans and joy that the band can be together. I am lucky enough to be able to hold a light out to the audience each night and stand in their reflection for a tremendous collective experience — I get to stand in the WE of our concerts. And I’ve spoken extensively on my gratitude but I will say it again, I’m deeply grateful that the fans and the brotherhood of this band have been patient and allowed me the time needed to get healthy and prepare for touring. I’m ready and excited!”

For pre-sale access to the band’s UK/Ireland shows, fans can pre-order the band’s upcoming album, Forever (Legendary Edition), an updated version of their 2024 album featuring collaborations with Bruce Springsteen, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, Jason Isbell, Avril Lavigne, and more.

Limp Bizkit to continue with tour next month as details emerge on Sam Rivers’ death

by jummy84 October 22, 2025
written by jummy84

Limp Bizkit will reportedly go ahead with their forthcoming tour dates, despite the death of bassist Sam Rivers – further details of which have now emerged.

Rivers, who founded the band with Fred Durst in 1994, passed away last Saturday (October 18). He was 48 years old.

Paying tribute online, Limp Bizkit wrote: “Sam Rivers wasn’t just our bass player – he was pure magic. The pulse beneath every song, the calm in the chaos, the soul in the sound.”

Frontman Durst later shared an emotional video message, where he called Rivers a “legend, truly”. He added: “Such a gifted, unbelievably sweet and wonderful person.”

A cause of death was not disclosed at the time. Yesterday (Tuesday October 21), TMZ reported that Rivers had suffered a cardiac arrest on October 18, and was “nonresponsive”.

“Deputies responded to an attended death at that address,” a spokesperson for the St. Johns County, Florida Fire Rescue told the outlet.

An “attended death” is when a person is already suffering from a life-threatening illness. Rivers had worn a “Fuck Cancer” T-shirt while performing with Limp Bizkit this year. However, the official cause of death currently remains unknown.

Additionally, it appears that Limp Bizkit are set to go ahead with their upcoming scheduled live shows. Their ‘Gringo Papi Tour’ with Yungblud, Riff Raff and more is scheduled to kick off in Mexico City on November 29.

Further dates are lined up across South America, with stops in San José, Bogotá, Lima, Santiago, Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo.

As The PRP reports, promoters for the Mexico City concert issued the following statement: “Limp Bizkit has decided to continue with its performance on November 29th at the Explanada Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, as part of its ‘Gringo Papi Tour‘ 2025.”

The message added: “That night, every riff and every scream of the crowd will resonate in honor of the great legacy Sam offered to to Nu-Metal, because his energy will never cease.”

Rivers’ final performances with Limp Bizkit took place at Reading & Leeds 2025 in August. The bassist had temporarily departed the band in 2015, before returning to the line-up in 2018.

In 2020, Rivers revealed that his exit five years earlier had been due to liver disease as a result of “excessive drinking”.

“I quit drinking and did everything the doctors told me,” he said. “I got treatment for the alcohol and got a liver transplant, which was a perfect match.”

Durst’s recent video tribute saw him recall meeting Rivers in the 1990s, when he was trying to put together a band in Jacksonville, Florida. He said he saw the musician “killing it on the bass” with another band in a small bar. “I went, ‘Oh my gosh, this guy is amazing’,” he continued.

He later added: “It’s so tragic that he’s not here right now, and I’ve gone through gallons and gallons of tears since yesterday. And I’m thinking, gosh, Sam’s a legend, you know? He did it, he lived it.”
