Lily Collins made a glamorous comeback to New York Fashion Week on September 12, attending the Calvin Klein Spring 2026 show after a long absence. The actor, recognized mainly for her role as Emily Cooper in Netflix’s Emily in Paris, brought her unique combination of elegance and fun to the front row, according to Vogue.
Collins wore a semi-sheer white co-ord set, consisting of a cropped spaghetti strap top and knee-length pencil skirt, both covered in shimmering, scale-like sequins. She wore silver strappy heels, a white handbag, and simple accessories. Her makeup was fresh and understated, complete with a rosy lip and trendy soap nails, an In Style report added.

The star’s return to NYFW carried extra meaning since she is the face of Calvin Klein’s Spring 2026 campaign, reported Vogue. Speaking about the collaboration earlier this year, Collins said, “It was a total honor and a dream come true.” Collins was quoted as saying that she used to cut out Calvin Klein ads from magazines when she was young and added that for her, the brand always “represented what’s classic and cool.”
Her outfit, the Vogue report added, was a nod to Calvin Klein’s iconic ‘90s minimalism look updated with a modern twist. Collins told the magazine that the outfit reminded her of the brand’s iconic ‘90s collection. “I wanted to play with proportion and bring a bit of 2025 into it,” she added.
Now reflecting on her return to the New York Fashion Week, Collins said, “Having this show and being involved again was even more special than I knew it would be. It felt like I was back in my late teen and early twenties out front of the shows just soaking it all in. Full circle.”
She called designer Veronica Leoni’s debut for Calvin Klein “completely comfortable and utterly chic” and especially loved the layering. She even joked, “Who wouldn’t want to feel that chic in a bathrobe?”

Collins has had a busy year both professionally and personally. Not only is she shooting the new season of Emily in Paris (the fifth), which is being filmed in Paris and Italy, but she is also a new mom. In January, Collins welcomed a daughter via surrogacy in what she calls “utter bliss.”
To say she has a lot on her plate is an understatement, but enjoying the buzz around NYFW gave Collins a much-needed opportunity to play around. “I love to have fun and play around with new shapes and silhouettes. Fashion Week is a great place to experiment,” she said.

Speaking to Doctor Who Magazine, she said: “I don’t think it was a discussion, but it was absolutely there. The Doctor’s response in certain situations felt, to me, so authentically her that it celebrated a neurodiverse character without slapping on a label. It was just ‘the Doctor’.
She added: “So, me? I absolutely was aware. It’s playing it without the label, in a way. Just: the Doctor responds like this. That’s what I loved about it. And that’s why the Doctor is such a brilliant part to play.
“Sometimes we explain certain traits by saying, “This person is neurodiverse, or has ADHD, or is autistic,’ and that can be a positive thing – explaining is not negative. But with the Doctor, it wasn’t about explaining.
“She has characteristics that potentially, in a human form, would be associated with autism, but the joy is – as you said – it’s not in any way negative, in any way something to be fixed. It’s something to be celebrated. The Doctor is the Doctor. What is so beautiful about playing the Doctor is that there is no conforming.”
Then-showrunner Chris Chibnall added that it was a part of the Doctor that developed over time – and he’s blown away by how much the character means to neurodivergent audiences.
Whittaker made history as the first female Doctor and, following her exit in 2022, returned for Ncuti Gatwa’s final episode, The Reality War, earlier this year.

Iain Armitage has as many talents as his famous onscreen counterparts.
The Young Sheldon star showed off a surprising — and impressive — skill of his in a Wednesday, September 10, Instagram video. “I would happily do this all day, every day- thank you to my friend at @lasvegascircuscenter!” he wrote alongside a clip of himself on the trapeze.
In the video, Armitage jumps off a platform and swings through the air. Looking like an actual circus performer, he proceeded to do a backflip and grab the hands of a fellow trapeze artist. Armitage hung on to the performer’s hands for several seconds before falling into a net below.
Fans shared their surprise over Armitage’s high-flying hobby in the post’s comments. “I wanna do this?!?!?” his former Young Sheldon costar Montana Jordan wrote, to which Armitage replied, “Let’s go!!!”
“Iain armitage has got some skills ❤️✨,” one fan remarked, while another commented, “That was fantastic, Iain! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻.”
“WOW,” another posted, while a different user added, “Of course you’re flying through the air you are AMAZING!!”
Armitage practiced his trapeze skills during a recent trip to Las Vegas. He shared a fun family story while posting snaps of himself and his grandmother visiting a casino via his Instagram Story on Wednesday.
“Story time: 57 years ago my grandmother went to Vegas with my grandfather and placed one bet on roulette,” he explained. “She won, left her winnings on the table by accident and won again … Last week she did it again. She placed one bet and won!”
Posting a pic of his grandmother holding her cash winnings, Armitage wrote, “Las Vegas needs to watch out because in 57 more years, she’ll be back!”
Armitage has kept himself busy since wrapping up his iconic role as Sheldon Cooper on CBS’s Young Sheldon, which ran for seven seasons from 2017 to 2024. In addition to attending several Broadway shows, traveling around the world and advocating for arts funding in schools at Congress, Armitage also got his pilot’s license.
While Armitage also has some acting projects in the works, one of Armitage’s former costars revealed he likely won’t reprise his role as Sheldon on The Big Bang Theory spinoff, Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage.
“That would be so much fun, but I feel like if, because they’re sticking to the Big Bang Theory lore and everything — because the whole thing in The Big Bang Theory is Georgie and Sheldon don’t talk, because they kind of have a rift between them after [their father] George dies,” Raegan Revord, who played Sheldon’s twin sister, Missy Cooper, on Young Sheldon recently told Entertainment Tonight.
“And so, if they’re sticking to that, I feel like it wouldn’t make sense for Sheldon to come back. But who knows?” they added. “Maybe they’ll find a loophole. They have found loopholes before. Maybe they’ll find one again.”
Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, which premiered in October 2024, follows the relationship of Sheldon’s older brother, Georgie (Jordan), and his wife, Mandy (Emily Osment).
The creator of Hannibal is envisioning a dream project that would star none other than Zendaya.
Series creator Bryan Fuller revealed in an interview with ScreenRant that his “dream project” would see the Challengers star in the leading role of Clarice Starling opposite Mads Mikkelsen as Hannibal Lecter.
“My dream project is to do a limited series of Silence of the Lambs with Mads and Zendaya as Clarice Starling,” he said. “If I could put anything out into the universe, I would put that into the universe.”
Both roles of Clarice and Hannibal were originated by Jodie Foster and Anthony Hopkins, respectively, in Jonathan Demme’s 1991 film The Silence of the Lambs, an adaptation of Thomas Harris’ 1988 book of the same name.
The movie was a major winner at the 1992 Oscars, earning both Foster and Hopkins the Academy Awards for best leading actress and actor. Silence of the Lambs also won best picture, best director for Demme and best adapted screenplay.
Zendaya has quite a few projects in the works, and is gearing up for quite a stacked 2026 slate of releases. She’ll next be seen in the highly anticipated third season of Euphoria, the third Dune installment, Christopher Nolan’s next feature The Odyssey and the fourth Tom Holland-led Spider-Man film, entitled Brand New Day.
Ridley Scott’s 2001 Hannibal film served as a sequel to the original Demme-directed movie. Hopkins returned to reprise his role while Julianne Moore joined to play Clarice. In Fuller’s 2013 Hannibal TV series, Mikkelsen took on the titular part while Clarice was absent from the storyline.
Fuller recently made his directorial debut with his new thriller Dust Bunny at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival.
#KelliFerrell recently found herself in a little bit of legal trouble.
According to US Weekly, Monualda Cash, a neighbor of Kelli’s, was granted a temporary protective order against the #RHOA peach-holder. The TPO was put in place following an incident on Aug. 9, where Kelli allegedly entered Cash’s private patio through a locked gate in a “violent manner.”
Cash said Kelli, accompanied by others, made erratic verbal threats and had to be “physically restrained and removed” from the property. The court has ordered Kelli to stay at least 30 yards away from Cash. Kelli’s team responded, claiming: “Since the announcement of Kelli’s involvement with The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Mrs. Cash has engaged in a concerning pattern of behavior directed at Kelli and her family.” A hearing to determine whether the order should be made permanent is scheduled for Sept. 22.
The zany idea follows an earlier musical episode as well as an unexpected crossover with animated series Lower Decks, which saw Jack Quaid (Brad Boimler) and Tawny Newsome (Beckett Mariner) bring their voice roles to live-action.
Clearly, this is a show that isn’t afraid to keep surprising fans, whether longtime Trekkies or newcomers to the constantly evolving franchise.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 4 does not yet have a confirmed release date, but the episodes are confirmed to be dropping in 2026 on Paramount Plus.
Production got underway in March of this year, meaning that it’s quite possible that season 4 will be ready by May or June 2026, thus returning it to the months that seasons 1 and 2 began in years’ past.
Of course, the third was severely delayed by the Hollywood strikes of 2023, which saw members of the Writers Guild of America (WGA) and Screen Actors Guild (SAG) withdraw their labour from numerous high-profile projects.
The rapid progress on season 4 and the advance renewal of Strange New Worlds for a fifth and final season seems designed to help the show recapture its lost momentum after that longer-than-planned hiatus.

Anson Mount, Ethan Peck and Celia Rose Gooding are confirmed to be reprising their roles in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 4, having been pictured on the set of the upcoming episodes.
Other key cast members, such as Rebecca Romijn and Babs Olusanmokun, are also returning, alongside repeat guest stars Paul Wesley (James T Kirk), Adrian Holmes (Robert April) and Dan Jeannotte (Sam Kirk).

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will once again send its crew on a number of wild adventures, including another comical foray into surreal territory with a puppet-led episode.
The light-hearted sci-fi series has previously toyed with its format, producing both a musical episode and an animated crossover with Star Trek: Lower Decks.
This puppet edition marks one of their most ambitious efforts yet, with showrunner Henry Alonso Myers explaining that “a lot of time and care” went into it, estimating the work to have spanned “more than six months”.
Other episodes will no doubt be teased as we get closer to the release.
Alas, there’s no full trailer for the next chapter just yet, but Paramount Plus did drop a sneak peek at a puppet-themed episode at San Diego Comic-Con 2025. Watch here:

However, with things getting ever more complicated for John, it would seem that surely he’s only moments away from being caught out? Or maybe not…
Speaking with RadioTimes.com on the red carpet for the National Television Awards 2025, John’s actor Oliver Farnworth was asked whether there was more carnage on the way for his character.
He teased: “It wouldn’t be Emmerdale without a few twists and turns, would it? So I’d say, just when you think something’s gonna go one way, it can always go another.”
Farnworth also said that John does love Aaron “1 million per cent”, and that he “feels like he’s his soulmate”.
“But the problem that comes with that, with someone who’s been kind of shielded from love as John has a lot of their life, is that he doesn’t really know what to do with love.
“So he’s got Aaron, and he goes, ‘Well, I just love you so much, I just want you, I don’t want anyone else.’ It just becomes quite possessive, quite dangerous. And I think that’s what’s happened in this instance, and that’s what’s led to all of this carnage.”
It was previously reported that Farnworth will be departing from the soap “imminently” – but just how soon that actually ends up being, and how much damage John can do in the meantime, remains to be seen. ITV previously declined to comment on John’s future.
