Ice Spice Talks a Big Game on New Single ‘Pretty Privilege’

by jummy84 November 6, 2025
written by jummy84

Ice Spice has dropped a new single, “Pretty Privilege.” The rapper shared the track alongside a music video, which sees her strutting and dancing around a mansion.

The track sees Ice Spice taking aim at her fellow artists. “Poser, she hear my song and copy everything I say,” she spits. “Like, what the fuck? These bitches dirt/ Just be yourself, this shit could work/ Pretty privilege, that’s a perk/ I can’t help it, I’m a flirt/ Fine shit, that’s a fact.” She adds, “Cancel me, they really tried it/ I’m so cocky, I can’t hide it.”

“Pretty Privilege” follows Ice Spice’s comeback single, “Baddie Baddie,” which arrived in September. The song marked Ice Spice’s first solo release since she dropped Y2K!: I’m Just A Girl (Deluxe) last December. It was produced by the rapper’s longtime collaborator RiotUSA and samples M.I.A.’s 2012 hit “Bad Girls.” She later dropped an Evil Twins-directed music video for the track.

Since releasing Y2K!: I’m Just A Girl (Deluxe), Ice Spice collaborated with several artists. Earlier this year, she teamed up with Latto on “Gyatt,” which marked the first collaboration between the two rappers and effectively squashed rumors of the pair’s feud. She also made her film debut in Spike Lee’s most recent film, Highest 2 Lowest, starring Denzel Washington and A$AP Rocky.

Ice Spice recently told Rolling Stone her creative process has stayed the same throughout her career. “Everything kind of changes a little bit slowly throughout the years, but, it’s pretty consistent,” she said. “Or, like, I have things that I do that I’m comfortable with. I take a lot of breaks in between recording songs. So I don’t just, sit and go through it. I get up, do things, eat, or whatever, and then come back to it the next day.”

‘He Spend Upto 2 Lakhs On A Single Pooja’, Sunita Ahuja Opens Up On Govinda’s Astrology Beliefs

by jummy84 November 4, 2025
written by jummy84

Sunita Ahuja, the wife of Bollywood veteran Govinda, has never been one to shy away from speaking her mind, and her recent revelations on Paras Chhabra’s podcast shed light on some aspects of her husband’s life that have often been kept behind closed doors. From his inclination toward astrologers to the influence of certain people around him, Sunita gave an honest account of how Govinda’s choices have sometimes caused friction in their relationship.

Sunita Ahuja

Sunita Ahuja Revelations About Govinda

One of the most striking revelations in the podcast was Sunita’s candidness about Govinda’s deep belief in astrology and his financial commitment to spiritual rituals. She shared that the actor often spends a significant amount of up to ₹2 lakh on a single puja, based on the advice of astrologers and pundits. While some people may be comfortable with the idea of paying for such practices, Sunita is not one to follow this path blindly.

She shared, “We have one in our house, Govinda’s pandit. He conducts pujas and charges 2 lakh rupees. I tell him to perform the puja himself. His rituals won’t work. God will only listen to his own prayers. I don’t believe in these things. Even if I donate or do any good deed, I do it with my own hands for my own good deeds. The one who is afraid gets scared.”

Sunita Ahuja

Sunita’s pragmatic approach to life contrasts with Govinda’s more spiritual inclinations, revealing the tension between their differing views. While she respects his belief system, Sunita admits that she doesn’t always agree with his actions or the people advising him. Sunita also opened up about her concerns regarding the people in Govinda’s circle. According to her, some of the friends and advisors around him often give him bad advice. In her words, these individuals have had a negative influence on the actor, leading him to make choices that are less than ideal.

Single Salma Review: Heart in The Right Place, but Execution Falters

by jummy84 October 31, 2025
written by jummy84

Nachiket Samant’s Single Salma is a film that means well, it wants to talk about choice, womanhood, and the complex mess of modern relationships, but the storytelling doesn’t always keep up with its good intentions. Its heart is firmly in the right place; its execution, unfortunately, isn’t.

Set in Lucknow, the film follows Salma (Huma Qureshi), a bright, no-nonsense woman who works for the city’s urban planning department. She’s the family’s emotional and financial anchor, engaged to Sikander (Shreyas Talpade), a dependable, well-meaning man who represents traditional stability. Salma, though, isn’t entirely convinced she wants the life that everyone else seems to have charted for her.

The film begins on a refreshingly grounded note. For once, government officers are shown working in earnest, preparing for a Smart City Conclave in London with genuine commitment. Even abroad, they’re seen learning and representing their city with professionalism, a detail rarely captured with such authenticity in Hindi cinema.

In London, Salma’s world shifts. She meets Meet (Sunny Singh), a charming planner from the London town planning department who believes in open relationships and is already involved with his girlfriend (Lauren Gottlieb). Drawn to his easy confidence and free-spirited approach to life, Salma finds herself pulled into unfamiliar emotional territory. When she gives in to her desire and loses her virginity to him, what follows is confusion, she wants something deeper, and later he too convinces himself he should marry her and follows her to Lucknow.

The film’s most compelling stretch comes when Salma becomes the target of public shaming after photos of her in a bikini are leaked online. Instead of melodrama, Samant crafts these moments with empathy. Her male colleagues rally to defend her, a quietly powerful reversal of stereotype. It’s a scene that captures both the vulnerability and dignity of a woman reclaiming her narrative.

Huma Qureshi carries the film on her capable shoulders, lending Salma warmth, humour, and a believable mix of confidence and self-doubt. Though her character feels like a patchwork of different ideas. She gamely rises above it all and gives her 100 percent. Shreyas Talpade plays Sikander with restraint and decency, and with his comic timing spot on. He’s the narrator of the film, something like the unreliable narrator of How I Met Your Mother and we wish was given a freer hand. Sunny Singh’s Meet exudes an easy charm that later gives way to unexpected introspection. Navni Parihar as Mrs. Shrivastav, Salma’s senior colleague, and Nidhi Singh as her outspoken best friend, add texture and energy, giving the film its liveliest exchanges.

However, despite the strong performances, Single Salma struggles with tone and rhythm. What begins as a layered exploration of identity and independence slips into formula, the conservative girl falling for the first man who makes her feel seen, mistaking attraction for love. There are moments that remind you of Queen (2014), but without its effortless flow or organic humour. Where Queen felt like an unforced journey of self-discovery, Single Salma feels more like a well-meant essay on liberation.

Sohail Sen’s music barely registers, and the film’s pacing, particularly in the second half, is uneven. The narrative loses its spark just when it should be finding its emotional peak.

Still, there’s sincerity in Single Salma, in its attempt to portray an independent woman not as a stereotype but as someone flawed, curious, and learning to define herself beyond societal labels. It’s a film that tries to empower through empathy rather than rebellion, even if the craft doesn’t always rise to the occasion.

All-in-all, Single Salma is a well-intentioned, occasionally moving story that needed sharper writing and lighter storytelling to truly shine.

by jummy84 October 31, 2025
written by jummy84

Orville Peck will release a new EP, Appaloosa, on Nov. 14 via Warner Records. The country artist previewed the release with “Drift Away,” a reflective, nostalgic anthem.

The song showcases small-town ennui in the post-pandemic era as Orville croons, “Watch the kids ridin’ shotgun roads/ In ’21 all the movies closed/ High and dry they got nowhere else to go.” He adds, “It’s not about gettin’ out/ It’s about lettin’ go, don’t ya know?/ Drift away with me/ Drift away with me.”

Appaloosa will feature seven tracks, including a collaboration with Noah Cyrus titled “Atchafalaya.” The pair previously teamed up on the recent “Love Is a Canyon” and last year’s “How Far Will We Take It?”

Next month, Orville will hold his 7th Annual Rodeo. The event runs Nov. 14-16 in Pioneertown, California, at Pappy & Harriet’s. It will feature performances from Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Joy Oladokun, Hurray for the Riff Raff, Allison Russell, and more. Peck will play a different set each day, including a headlining set on Saturday, Nov. 15.

Peck’s last album, Stampede, arrived last summer. It followed his EP, Stampede Vol. 1, a collection of duets he has recorded with Willie Nelson, Elton John, Noah Cyrus, Midland, Allison Russell, Nathaniel Rateliff, and Bu Cuaron. Since then Peck has unveiled several tracks, including “Tennessee,” a collaboration with Kesha.

After making his Broadway debut in Cabaret, Peck recently wrapped filming on 2026 film Street Fighter. The musician is playing masked assassin Vega.

Single Salma Review: A Good Subject But The Story Goes Astray! | Glamsham.com

Details
Huma Qureshi’s film “Single Salma” is a romantic comedy starring Huma Qureshi as Salma. In addition to Huma, Shreyas Talpade and Sunny Singh also appear in pivotal roles. The film is directed by Nachiket Samanta.

Story
The story of the film “Single Salma” is set in Lucknow and London. Huma Qureshi plays Salma, a modern-day girl burdened with family responsibilities.Salma works to support her family, but despite being 33, she is unable to get married. Meanwhile, there’s Sikandar (Shreyas Talpade), who, despite being 40, is also unable to marry due to responsibilities. Sikander and Salma’s marriage is finalized and about to take place, when Salman has to travel to London for work, where he meets Meet (Sunny Singh). A different track begins there, and the story continues.

Writing and Direction
The film Single Salma was co-written by Mudassar Aziz, Amina Khan, and Ravi Kumar. The subject of the film is good where a girl is passionate about fulfilling her responsibilities even when her father has given birth to many daughters to have a son. We often see in our society that many people give birth to multiple daughters in the hope of having a son. The film also portrays a girl’s desire to fulfill her desires, her freedom, and her willingness to choose happiness. In our country, the aspect of parents wanting their children to get married at the right age is good but the script is weak.

Sometimes a film’s theme sounds appealing, but when it’s translated to screen, it falls flat. The film Single Salma seems to have met a similar fate. The film begins in Lucknow and offers the feel of a good story, but once it reaches London, it begins to wander. It feels like the story has stalled. The drama also becomes overdone after the interval.

Some of the film’s dialogue is good and suits the characters. Shreyas Talpade’s 40-year-old look also doesn’t look good. His character’s mustache and hair were dyed brown to make him appear middle-aged, which didn’t seem right. Some of the film’s scenes are well-written, especially those featuring Salma and her friend. Some of Shreyas and Huma’s scenes also feel authentic.

Acting
There’s no fault in the acting of anyone in Single Salma. All the actors have played their roles well. The story revolves around Huma Qureshi, so she is the leading lady of the film.

He’s played the role he’s been given with a masterful performance. While Shreyas Talpade’s look as Sikandar may seem a bit odd, he’s portrayed the undereducated and burdened Sikandar with a strong sense of responsibility. His scenes with Huma are also good. Sunny Singh plays Meet, a modern boy. He fits the role perfectly.

Overall
The film Single Salma is billed as a romantic comedy, but I feel it lacks comedy. Shreyas’s dialogues are laughable at times, but not enough. Of course, the film’s subject matter is good, and at times, it feels realistic. The film’s subject and the warmth of small town love are well portrayed, hence the film gets 2 stars.

Renee Rapp Shares Single ‘Lucky’ From ‘Now You See Me, Now You Don’t’

by jummy84 October 30, 2025
written by jummy84

Call it magic or manifestation, but either way, Reneé Rapp is a master of mind games on her latest single, “Lucky.” The record is set to appear on the original motion picture soundtrack for Now You See Me, Now You Don’t, in theaters Nov. 14.

“I go fast, baby, I go hard/But don’t leave a scratch when I crash my car/Steppin’ on stars on the boulevard/I find it kinda funny, I get so la-la-lucky,” Rapp sings on the chorus before disappearing into the world of the film on the bridge. “Okay, got my way/It’s almost like I’m Reneé/Oh, no, where’d I go?/Now you see me, now you don’t.”

“Lucky” will ring out in theaters at the end of Now You See Me, Now You Don’t, the long-awaited third installment in the Now You See Me franchise, which began in 2013 and last returned in 2016.

Trending Stories

The single follows the arrival of Rapp’s second studio album, Bite Me, which arrived in August. “I love it so much. I worked so hard on it, and I had so much fun making it that I think the hard part is not shooting myself in the foot by getting really anxious about it,” the singer told Rolling Stone earlier this year. “I feel like I made music from places that were really scary for me, not to sound like such a pick-me. So to put it out into the world, and not know if it’s going to be received in the way that it feels for me is scary.”

In a review of the record, Rolling Stone wrote, “She spends her second album, Bite Me, enjoying what a rowdy-and-proud mess she is, for one of the year’s most delightful pop blowouts, an uproarious 33-minute celebration of sex, drugs, and rock & roll.”

Megan Thee Stallion Drops New Single ‘Lover Girl’: Listen

by jummy84 October 24, 2025
written by jummy84

Megan Thee Stallion is living a love story with her new partner, Klay Thompson — and she’s embracing the cupid energy of it all on her new song. On Friday, the rap queen released the single “Lover Girl.”

“Let’s skip the small talk and make some big moves/I know you feeling me, you know I’m feeling you,” raps Megan on the track before not-so-subtly predicting: “A very freaky girl, you heard what Gucci said/First, I give you my number, then you give me some head.”

The cover art for the single sees Megan in a pink wig, violet bra, and wine-colored corset while holding up a bow and arrow like she’s cupid. Earlier on Thursday, she also shared photos with her basketball star boyfriend alongside the caption, “LOVER GIRL,” and has been capturing their sweet relationship on social media over the last few weeks. The Grammy winner also teased the music for several days, and wrote in one post: “All hotties better be in attendance.”

The new single arrives just a week before her annual HottieWeen event, which is set to be hosted in Humble, Texas, with proceeds supporting her Pete and Thomas Foundation. (The organization seeks to catalyze resources for women, children, senior citizens, and underserved communities.)

“Lover Girl” is Megan’s second release this year after dropping “Whenever” back in April. Last October, she surprised fans with a second act to her Megan album, which included collaborations with Fo Milli, Twice, and RM of BTS.

Back in March, the Houston native teased plans for an Act III project. “I’m really just trying to figure out who do I want to do features with at this point in life,” she said at the time. “I only want to do features with people that … one, I haven’t done a feature with yet, and two, that I listen to on my own time — people that I actually, you know, fuck with.”

She also noted that Doechii is on her “album wish list,” adding: “I feel like Doechii would be the type of person that you would have to be in the studio to make a song with. I would like to hear a beat that she would like to rap over, and also I’m like challenging myself to rap over beats that I wouldn’t normally rap over without losing myself.”

Foo Fighters “reminded of why we love and are forever devoted to doing this” on new single ‘Asking For A Friend’

by jummy84 October 23, 2025
written by jummy84

Foo Fighters have shared new single ‘Asking For A Friend’, and announced a North American stadium tour for 2026. Listen and find all the details below.

The track begins with hypnotic opening verses that build and explode into impassioned refrains of “What is real? I’m asking for a friend” in the chorus, making way for intense, ominous screeches of “Or is this the end?“.

‘Asking For A Friend’ arrives shortly after Dave Grohl and co. posted a snippet of the song, revealing that they were “about to take flight” into their next era. The dark yet melodic number comes hot on the heels of predecessor, ‘Today’s Song’ – which arrived earlier this summer.

“‘Asking For A Friend’ is a song for those who have waited patiently in the cold, relying on hope and faith for their horizon to appear,” said Grohl. “Searching for ‘proof’ when hanging by a wish until the sun shines again. One of many songs to come…”

The frontman continued, reflecting on the band’s recent intimate club shows: “Since our return to the stage in San Luis Obispo five weeks ago, we have been reminded of why we love and are forever devoted to doing this Foo Fighters thing.

“From reuniting as a band and staring at a list of 30 years worth of songs to brush off, to reimagining versions with the incredible blessing of the one and only Ilan Rubin behind the drums, to reconnecting with our amazing fans and blasting them with everything we’ve got (no matter the size of the venue) because we would not be here without them, we have the most solid core.”

He added: “And the sun is finally rising over the horizon. What better way to share the view than with close friends?”

Additionally, the Foos have confirmed that they’ll be hitting the road for a huge North American stadium tour next summer. Dates are scheduled for Toronto, Detroit, Chicago, Philadelphia, Nashville, Vancouver, Las Vegas and other cities throughout August and September.

Queens Of The Stone Age are set to open for the group at all dates except Fargo on September 12. Tickets for all concerts go on general sale at 10am local time next Friday (October 31) – you’ll be able to buy yours here.

The announcement promises that “many more shows” are still to come. Fans can register for updates here, and see the full schedule so far below.

Foo Fighters’ 2026 North American stadium tour dates are:

AUGUST
04 – Toronto, ON – Rogers Stadium
06 – Detroit, MI – Ford Field
08 – Chicago, IL – Soldier Field
10 – Cleveland, OH – Huntington Bank Field
13 – Philadelphia, PA – Lincoln Financial Field
15 – Nashville, TN – Nissan Stadium
17 – Washington, DC – Nationals Park

SEPTEMBER
12 – Fargo, ND – Fargodome
15 – Regina, SK – Mosaic Stadium at Taylor Field
17 – Edmonton, AB – Commonwealth Stadium
20 – Vancouver, BC – BC Place
26 – Las Vegas, NV – Allegiant Stadium

Grohl’s new statement also saw him look ahead to touring with QOTSA in 2026. “In 1992 I first saw the legendary Kyuss perform at the Off Ramp in Seattle and met Mr. Josh Homme,” he wrote.

“The band were friends of a friend, and before long their album ‘Blues For The Red Sun’ became the soundtrack to that summer. 33 years later and with many miles behind us, I have shared some of my life’s most rewarding musical moments with my dear friend, Josh. A lifelong bond that goes far beyond the sound we’ve made together.

“So it is with great happiness that we can share this next chapter together with his almighty Queens Of The Stone Age. Take cover.”

Shouting out his bandmates, Grohl added: “But none of this would be complete without new music to share from Pat, Nate, Chris, Rami, Ilan and I.” Read the full message from the frontman here.

Earlier this month, Foo Fighters shared new live album ‘Are Playing Where??? Vol. I’ via Bandcamp. The release captured the band’s brief run of tiny US gigs last month – which marked their first performances together in over a year.

The Foos also teased a wider tour, saying that “there’s more to come” soon in a tongue-in-cheek AI video. They said they had been “preparing something special” and “rehearsing tirelessly” to give audiences their “best” shows “from the heart”.

Elsewhere, the band called on fans to “assemble” and began posting some images from the studio – suggesting that new music was on the horizon.

The band’s 11th and latest album, ‘But Here We Are’, was released in 2023. It marked Foo Fighters’ first material since the death of drummer Taylor Hawkins the previous year, and saw them enlist Josh Freese as a touring sticksman.

Earlier this year, Freese announced that he had quit Foo Fighters after they “decided to go in a different direction with their drummer”. The group then hired Ilan Rubin – essentially swapping Nine Inch Nails for their ex-touring drummer Freese.

Following his first gigs with the band, Rubin spoke out about how it felt to join the line-up. “After keeping my head down for a couple wild months and throwing myself into the material, that first show was such an incredible release of energy,” he said.

“I’ve been taken aback by all the positivity and support, and I just wanted to say thanks! Excited for all the volume and sweat that lies ahead.”

Freese addressed being let go from Foo Fighters, too. “Looking back, it was probably more an issue with their management,” he explained. However, the drummer said the Foos’ material “wasn’t music that I really resonated with”. He returned to Nine Inch Nails in August for their North American ‘Peel It Back’ tour.

When sharing ‘Today’s Song’, Grohl thanked every former member of the band for their contributions throughout the years. He praised “the thunderous wizardry of Josh Freese”, and said Hawkins was “still in everything we do, everywhere we go, forever”.

Selena Gomez Reveals Video for New Single ‘In the Dark’

by jummy84 October 23, 2025
written by jummy84

Selena Gomez has released the video for “In the Dark,” a song from the Season Two soundtrack of Netflix series Nobody Wants This.

The retro visual opens with the singer wearing a black leotard and sitting on a white chaise, before transitioning to moodier shots of Gomez fitted in a two-piece and glossy leather jacket surrounded by smoke. “I’ll be there when you lose yourself. To remind you of who you are,” sings Gomez in the Eighties-channeling track. “And I’ll be there like nobody else. You’re so beautiful in the dark.”

Gomez teased the video earlier on Wednesday, sharing scenes from the visual on Instagram stories, and sharing that it took under just eight hours to film. In one photo, she wrote: “Thought it be fun to add a little Revival to it.”

Last month, Gomez and Benny Blanco tied the knot in a private ceremony and exchanged vows in California in front of their friends and family. The couple had collaborated together on Gomez’s 2015 hit song “Same Old Love” and “I Can’t Get Enough” (which also featured Tainy and J Balvin) in 2019, before confirming their relationship in December 2023. In March 2025, the pop powerhouse and producer debuted their collaborative album, I Said I Love You First.

Trending Stories

Gomez recently featured on “Pick It Up,” as part of Cardi B’s sophomore album, Am I the Drama?, which dropped in September. The pair last linked up in 2018 for DJ Snake’s smash hit “Taki Taki,” with Ozuna as well.

Meanwhile, Nobody Wants This returns for another season on Oct. 23. The rom-com Netflix series stars Kristen Bell and Adam Brody, and also features the likes of Timothy Simons, Jackie Tohn, Stephanie Faracy, Michael Hitchcock, Tovah Feldshuh, Paul Ben-Victor, Emily Arlook, and more. Season Two’s soundtrack spans 19 songs and taps some of the biggest names in music including Gomez, Kacey Musgraves, Chris Stapleton, Finneas, Role Model, and Teddy Swims.
