Lee Claydon fell from an upper tier at the end of the band’s reunion show on August 2.

Mr Claydon’s inquest was opened at Barnet Coroner’s Court today (September 11) by senior coroner Andrew Walker.

The inquest heard that Mr Claydon, a landscape gardener from Bournemouth, was taken to a medical centre in Wembley after the fall where he was pronounced dead at 10.38pm. Mr Walker said a post-mortem examination on August 6 gave the preliminary medical cause of death as “multiple bodily injuries”, reports BBC News.

Police are reviewing CCTV and mobile phone footage from a substantial number of witnesses, Barnet Coroner’s Court heard. Mr Walker adjourned the adjourned the case to a further pre-inquest hearing on November 19.

Following Mr Claydon’s death, Oasis said in a statement at the time that they were “shocked and saddened” to hear of the news, adding: “Oasis would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the person involved.”

His father Clive Claydon also paid tribute to his son, describing him as a “a hard-working family man” who “loved his kid”. He added: “He was a lovely bloke, loved to be with his family… He had everything going for him. I am so devastated.”

The Claydons also launched a GoFundMe page to raise money for his family, which is still active and has currently raised over £30,000.

Fans who were at the show said that conditions in the stands “seemed unsafe”, sharing concerns with The Guardian over the allegedly “lax” security and the level of alcohol consumption. The amount of beer being drunk and thrown made the floors slippery, according to those who spoke to the publication.

A spokesperson for Wembley Stadium told NME at the time: “Wembley Stadium operates to a very high health and safety standard, fully meeting legal requirements for the safety of spectators and staff, and is certified to and compliant with the ISO 45001 standard. We work very closely and collaboratively with all relevant event delivery stakeholders – including event owners, local authorities, the Sports Ground Safety Authority and the police – to deliver events to high standards of safety, security and service for everyone attending or working in the venue.”

Oasis will next play dates in Mexico City before heading back for two extra shows at Wembley Stadium at the end of the month. They go on to play South Korea, Japan, Australia, Argentina, Chile and Brazil before the end of the year.

EXCLUSIVE: Imagine Selling Sunset but with a murder mystery plot. Legendary Television is developing a series based on Kate Weston’s real estate novel How to Make a Killing.

The company, which is behind series such as HBO Max’s Dune Prophecy and Apple’s Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, has optioned the novel, which was published by Headline earlier this summer.

The series follows star real estate agent and mom-fluencer Amanda Harrington and her high-stakes team as they navigate the cutthroat world of luxury property sales. When rising star Bella is found dead at the open house of a coveted $50M mansion, everyone becomes a suspect in this dark comedy.

'Black Mirror’ Creator Charlie Brooker Sets Next Netflix Show

‘Black Mirror’ Creator Charlie Brooker Sets Next Netflix Show

by jummy84 September 9, 2025
written by jummy84

Black Mirror creator Charlie Brooker is making a four-part detective crime series for Netflix; it’s currently in production.

The untitled project is “a profoundly serious, stunningly original crime thriller in which a tormented detective from the Northern city of Bleakford ventures down to London on a mission to catch a ritualistic serial killer before they run out of people to kill,” the logline reads.

It then warns: “Contains blood and frowning.” Those two often go together.

The series stars Paddy Considine (House of the Dragon, MobLand), Georgina Campbell (Barbarian, Watchers) and Lena Headey (Game of Thrones, The Abandons). Probably no dragons in this one.

“I’m beyond thrilled to be saying these words for the press release,” Brooker said in a statement. “I’ve dreamt of providing a quote ever since I was a young foetus, and now here I am doing it. I’d pinch myself, but like all of us, I’m terrified that if I do that, I might wake up and discover 2025 has all been a magical dream. Please watch my show. I am begging you.”

Brooker wrote the series with Ben Caudell, Jason Hazeley, Emer Kenny, Daniel Maier and Joel Morris; additional material by Victoria Asare Archer. He executive produces it with Jessica Rhoades and Annabel Jones. Mark Kinsella is co-executive producer and Richard Webb is producer. Al Campbell directs the miniseries.

Brooker had recently teased the project in an interview, as he was working on the yet-unannounced series when he chatted with The Hollywood Reporter about the Emmy nominations for the latest season of Black Mirror, and also weighed in on his recent exit from his and Jones’ Netflix-owned banner Broke & Bones.

“I am doing something at the moment that we haven’t announced yet. It is not Black Mirror. It’s very different; it’s using my other skill set. My other hat I sometimes wear,” he said when discussing the challenge of pumping out more Black Mirror stories amid the fast-changing tech landscape. “The thing about Black Mirror now is there is definitely a shorter gap between conceptualizing a Black Mirror story and the real world, unfortunately, serving up something quite similar. I’m in a bit of an arms race with reality.”

As for season eight, he assured fans that Black Mirror’s future on the streamer still remains bright. “Well, it’s Black Mirror, so the future is looking bleak. But yes, bleakly bright.”

Now, Kiku Sharda has reacted to this and called the fight with Krushna a prank. Apart from this, he also said that he will always be a part of Kapil Sharma’s show. The reports got intense when Kiku was shown in Ashneer Grover’s show ‘Rise and Fall’.

Kiku Sharda

Let us tell you that Kiku is participating in Ashneer’s show as a contestant. On the other hand, a few weeks ago, a video came out from the set of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show 3’, in which Kiku Sharda and Krushna Abhishek were having a heated argument. Now, Kiku Sharda has cleared everything and has shared a picture with Krushna Abhishek on his Instagram account.

Along with it, he wrote, ‘This bond will never break. That fight was just a prank. Do not fall for this gossip and rumours that I have left ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’. I will always be a part of the show and this family. So leave all this and go watch the show on Netflix. Only 3 episodes are left.’ Now, fans are reacting a lot to this post of Kiku Sharda and have breathed a sigh of relief that everything is fine between the two actors.

Kiku Sharda

A few days back, a video surfaced on social media in which Kiku Sharda was seen saying, ‘Am I passing time?’ On this, Krushna Abhishek got angry and said, ‘Okay then, you do it. I have no problem. I go from here. I love you, and I don’t want to raise my voice.’ On this, Kiku told him that he was taking the matter the wrong way. Although many users then called this video a publicity stunt, some also said that there was a real fight between the two.

Netflix’s Hit Show ‘My Life with the Walter Boys’ Returns for Season 2

by jummy84 September 8, 2025

8 September 2025

My Life with the Walter Boys, Netflix’s latest American teen drama, returns for a second season.

Sarah Rafferty stars in My Life with the Walter Boys

What is the basic premise of My Life with the Walter Boys?

The coming-of-age drama is an adaptation of Ali Novak’s 2014 novel of the same name, which was first published on Wattpad.

The series follows recently orphaned Jackie Howard, a teenage girl from Manhattan who relocates to rural Colorado after she is taken in by the Walters, a family of seven sons and one daughter.

In the second season, we come back from the cliffhanger that the last season left us on, with Jackie staying in New York for the summer while she figures out where she feels like she fits in.

As was shown in the first season, the love triangle between her and two of the Walter boys, Alex and Cole, continues into this season, with Jackie having feelings for both but still unsure who is right for her.

Another main plot point of this season is the renovation of the financially struggling Walter ranch, with drama and disagreement ensuing between different generations of the family.

We also explore the normal complexities of teenage life, ranging from going to prom,  running for student class president, the dynamics of American football, to teenage romance and friendships.

Why is the show so popular?

My Life with the Walter Boys explores several themes, such as grief and loss, the complexity of love and the journey of self-discovery as a teenager.

Jackie, throughout the second season, dives into her grief for her entire family as well as the city she used to call home.

As the season develops, she feels like she is losing physical reminders of her family, such as selling her mom’s dresses to raise money for the prom and running out of her mom’s perfume.

The show explores different parts of teenage life, especially the struggle for family and belonging.

While a gripping teen romance show, with an iconic love triangle, My Life with the Walter is also about Jackie finding her place in life.

In the show, Jackie must learn to adapt to her new life and the Walter family.

Also, as Jackie opens herself to new people and experiences, the story and show become a journey of self-discovery.

Throughout the series, Jackie redefines her own identity and learns to embrace imperfection.

And that’s why the show is so popular and successful, the characters are complex, growing and on a journey of self-discovery, which the audience is excited to see.

When will season 3 of My Life with the Walter Boys come out?

Ahead of the second season premiere in May 2025, Netflix renewed the series for a third season, much to the delight of fans, which will likely be out sometime in 2026.

Pre-production for the third season started in June 2025 and concluded in August 2025, whilst filming began right after and is slated to end in December 2025.

Season three is likely to follow the source material of Ali Novak, but with signature Netflix twists and turns that are very prevalent in My Life with the Walter Boys.

Howard Stern’s Show Canceled at SiriusXM, Andy Cohen Takes Over Channel

by jummy84 September 8, 2025
written by jummy84

Howard Stern‘s run on SiriusXM has come to an end after 20 years.

Last month, amid a spate of rumors and speculation that Stern’s SiriusXM deal was not being renewed, Stern gleefully turned the chatter into a tune-in promo. His show told listeners he would address the topic on the Sept. 2 episode of “The Howard Stern Show”; however, last week, he postponed the reveal until Sept. 8 — indicating that a deal was not yet done.

On Monday morning, on Stern’s Channel 100 on SiriusXM, it wasn’t Stern who came on the air — it was Andy Cohen who introduced himself and said that the channel going forward will now be known as “Andy 100.”

“I know you’re expecting a big announcement from Howard, and this is not how things were meant to go,” Cohen said. “This was supposed to be a cleaner hand off — I’m kind of winging it,” he continued, saying that it has been a “surreal morning here.”

Added Cohen, “I can’t possibly fill his void” and said he was confident Stern would land on another platform soon.

Stern, who is 71, first signed with satellite radio broadcaster Sirius in 2004 (prior to its merger with XM), in part to be free of oversight by the FCC, which had levied millions of dollars in fines on terrestrial radio stations that carried his show for alleged indecency. “The Howard Stern Show” debuted on Sirius in January 2006. His most recent five-year renewal with SiriusXM was inked in 2020.

Last week, SiriusXM execs acknowledged that talks with Stern were ongoing but that they hoped to ink a new deal. “I think he’s been core to our platform for over 20 years, so I’m confident we’ll get to the right place,” SiriusXM CEO Jennifer Witz said Sept. 3 at an investment conference.

Stern’s original deal with Sirius was worth $500 million over five years including stock. His more recent renewals “topped out at roughly $80 million to $100 million,” according to Bloomberg. Regarding a Bloomberg report in 2020 that Stern was nearing a deal with SiriusXM worth $120 million annually, Stern said on his show at the time that he and his agent were “kind of baffled by it.”

Over the years, the notoriously ribald Stern has interviewed hundreds of actors, comedians, music artists, athletes, politicians and more on his show. At his side for most of his career have been co-host Robin Quivers, write Fred Norris and producer Gary “Baba Booey” Dell’Abate.

Netflix has unveiled the trailer for Aryan Khan’s highly anticipated debut series, The Bads of Bollywood, and it’s already creating a buzz online. The satirical, star-studded drama promises a rollercoaster ride through the glamorous yet chaotic world of the Hindi film industry.

A Satirical Dive into Bollywood’s Dark Side

The seven-episode series follows Aasmaan Singh (played by Lakshya), a passionate newcomer determined to make his mark in the film world. With his loyal best friend Parvaiz (Raghav Juyal) and sharp manager Sanya (Anya Singh) by his side, Aasmaan’s journey to stardom is anything but easy. His biggest challenge? Superstar Ajay Talvar, portrayed by Bobby Deol, who plays the perfect foil to Aasmaan’s underdog ambition.

Adding to the madness is a lineup of eccentric industry characters—from washed-up actors to manipulative producers—painting a comedic and chaotic picture of Bollywood’s inner workings.

Historic Cameos: Aamir, Shah Rukh, and SS Rajamouli Share Screen

What’s grabbing major headlines is the surprise appearance of Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and SS Rajamouli — all together on screen for the first time. This historic cameo trio has taken fans by storm. Earlier, Salman Khan also made an appearance in the teaser, adding to the show’s superstar quotient.

Joel Dommett admits NTAs 30th anniversary hosting pressure and reveals his standout TV show

Joel Dommett admits NTAs 30th anniversary hosting pressure and reveals his standout TV show

by jummy84 September 7, 2025
written by jummy84

The likes of the critically-acclaimed Adolescence will be going head-to-head with Rivals, MobLand, Code of Silence and Ludwig in the New Drama category. Meanwhile, Alison Hammond, Claudia Winkleman, Stacey Solomon, Gary Lineker and Ant & Dec are all nominated in the TV presenter category.

One presenter missing from that list is Joel Dommett, and for good reason. The comedian steps back into his hosting role for a fifth year, which he admitted was rather daunting prospect as the ceremony heads into its 30th year.

“It does add to the pressure a little bit because it makes everyone sort of go back and look at how it’s been in the past,” Dommett told RadioTimes.com in an exclusive interview ahead of the NTAs.

He continued: “This show has been hosted by Trevor McDonald, by Dermot [O’Lear], obviously, and David Walliams, like these really great, huge people. And it feels really, really cool to be a part of whatever that history is.

“Obviously everyone’s looking back and looking at all those amazing moments that have happened over the over the years, and it just feels really mad to be the 30th, but it’s really exciting to put the show together, because [it] means you’ve got a context for the whole show. So it feels like there’s something that we can hang everything on a little bit, making it more intriguing to the viewer.”

As for what Dommett and the NTA team have planned, the presenter was careful not to reveal too much. He did admit it would be “fantastic” if Giant Joel made an appearance.

However, fans of The Masked Singer shouldn’t get their hopes up too quickly, as the host told RadioTimes.com: “The trouble is to get Giant Joel out of storage and then you don’t win, would be quite a big expense.”

Taking place at London’s O2 arena, the awards will be broadcast live on ITV on Wednesday 10th September, with a host of famous faces in attendance to see if the public has voted in their favour.

Additional nominees include Owen Cooper and Stephen Graham for their powerful performances in Adolescence, as well as Tom Hardy for MobLand, Rose Ayling-Ellis for Code of Silence and Brenda Blethyn for her emotional final turn in Vera.

Owen Cooper and Stephen Graham as Jamie and Eddie Miller in Adolescence. They are in a prison cell, looking ahead.

But it’s not just drama leading the crusade, with the likes of Michael McIntyre’s The Wheel, Richard Osman’s House of Games, The 1% Club and The Chase all nominated in the Quiz Show category, as well as The Traitors, I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, Love Island and Race Across the World nominated for Reality Competition.

When asked which of the many programmes aired throughout the year across major broadcasters and streamers was his favourite, Dommett picked two TV shows that aired in the time period he’s been hosting the event.

He told RadioTimes.com: “You look at something like Mr Bates vs The Post Office, [that was] so important. Adolescence this year, which is really important for [getting] us all talking and conversation and politicians talking about all that stuff. I think it’s really interesting. Those are some huge shows.”

If you want to know who else is up for an NTA this year, you can find a full list below – vote free online.

The National Television Awards 2025 will be broadcast live on ITV on Wednesday 10th September from 8pm.

Paul Shaffer Reacts to Late Show Cancellation at CBS

by jummy84 September 7, 2025
written by jummy84

Late Show With David Letterman bandleader Paul Shaffer is just as stunned as viewers are that CBS is canceling The Late Show With Stephen Colbert and the entire Late Show franchise.

“Shocking. Absolutely shocking,” Shaffer said of the decision in a recent Entertainment Weekly interview. “That’s all I can say. I mean, I don’t know what more to say about it. Stephen Colbert was absolutely number one.”

Shaffer was a CBS employee for decades, leading the CBS Orchestra and serving as David Letterman’s sidekick for the host’s entire Late Show run, from 1993 to 2015. Previously, Shaffer filled the same role on Letterman’s NBC show, Late Night With David Letterman, from 1982 to 1993.

And the musician thinks the end of The Late Show might indeed portend the end of late-night talk shows. “I wouldn’t be surprised if those doom-sayers that are saying it signifies the end of the Late Show-type of thing, you know, late night television, it’s over,” he told EW. “People will watch clips on their computers, and it all makes sense to me. I’m glad that I was in and out of there while the getting was good.”

Letterman, for his part, criticized his former network, saying on his YouTube channel that he doesn’t believe CBS’ claims that the decision to cancel the Late Show franchise was purely economic. He said CBS was showing “pure cowardice” following parent company Paramount’s $16 million payment to Donald Trump to settle the president’s lawsuit over CBS’ 60 Minutes.

“I think one day, if not today, the people at CBS who have manipulated and handled this are going to be embarrassed,” Letterman added. “This is gutless.”

Former Late Night host Conan O’Brien said at a Television Academy event last month (per The Hollywood Reporter) that “late night television as we have known it since around 1950 is going to disappear,” but he wasn’t concerned about Colbert. “Those voices are not going anywhere,” he explained. “People like Stephen Colbert are too talented and too essential to go away.”

But Jimmy Kimmel, ABC’s resident late-night host, thinks the post-11-p.m. segment of the television industry will survive. “Network television is declining. There’s no question about that,” he told Variety last month. “The idea that late-night is dead is simply untrue. People just aren’t watching it on network television in the numbers they used to — or live, for that matter. So the advertising model may be dying, but late-night television is the opposite.”
