Gisele Bündchen’s family is the model of love.

Eight months after welcoming a baby boy with partner Joaquim Valente, the supermodel showed off how one of her older sons—she is also mom to son Benjamin, 15, stepson Jack, 18, and daughter Vivian, 12, with ex Tom Brady—is bonding with her little one.

In a series of photos Gisele shared to Instagram Oct. 12, one of Gisele’s older sons sits with his back to the camera on the bench of a grand piano, his baby brother on his lap. Both boys have their hands on the piano keys and are matching in green pants and white t-shirts.

“There’s only one thing more precious than our time…” Gisele captioned the post, via translation. “And that’s who we spend it on.”

In addition to an image of the same quote and the sweet photo of her sons bonding, elsewhere in the carousel of images Gisele shared was one of her and Vivian snuggling, images of a crystal, some recent meals and snapshots of the family enjoying time together outdoors.

AIIMS, Harvard-trained gastroenterologist shares 5 early signs of unhealthy gut: Weak immunity to bloating after meal

A compromised gut often becomes the cause of many underlying issues in our body. Therefore, it is often recommended to include probiotic and prebiotic foods in your diet, exercise regularly, stay hydrated, and eat more fibre-rich foods to maintain overall health.

According to the gastroenterologist, if you consistently feel gassy or bloated after meals, it may indicate that your gut bacteria are imbalanced. (Freepik)

But what if you still feel that you have an unhealthy gut? Dr Saurabh Sethi, MD, MPH, a gastroenterologist and hepatologist trained at AIIMS, Stanford and Harvard Universities, highlighted the 5 early signs that indicate an unhealthy gut.

5 early signs of an unhealthy gut

In an Instagram post dated October 12, Dr Sethi shared the 5 signs of having an unhealthy gut, with the caption, “Board-certified gastroenterologist shares 5 Early Signs of an Unhealthy Gut. Which of these signs have you noticed in yourself?” Let’s find out:

1. Funhealthy gut

According to the gastroenterologist trained at AIIMS, if you’re always feeling gassy or bloated after meals, it could mean your gut bacteria are imbalanced.

2. Irregular bowel movements

Stating irregular bowel movements as a sign of an unhealthy gut, the gastroenterologist said, “Chronic constipation or diarrhoea is often your gut’s way of signalling trouble.”

3. Unexplained fatigue

“Poor gut health affects nutrient absorption, leaving you tired even after proper rest,” Dr Saurabh Sethi pointed out.

4. Food intolerances

If certain foods trigger discomfort, according to the gastroenterologist, your gut microbiome may be struggling to process them properly, which can be an early sign of compromised gut health.

5. Weakened immunity

Lastly, a weakened immunity is also an early sign of an unhealthy gut. Dr Sethi noted, “70 percent of your immune system lives in your gut. Frequent colds or infections can mean your gut needs attention.”

Max Hospital cardiologist shares why that ‘just gas’ feeling could be an early sign of a silent heart attack

by jummy84 October 11, 2025

Heart attacks don’t always come with classic chest pain. Many people ignore subtle signs like bloating, gas, or indigestion, thinking it’s just digestive issues. However, these could sometimes indicate early cardiac problems.

Dr. Bhamri warns that persistent symptoms like gas and bloating may indicate silent heart attacks.(Shutterstock)

Dr Naveen Bhamri, Cardiologist with 21 years of experience at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Delhi, shares in his Instagram post why these symptoms should not be overlooked and when to seek medical attention. (Also read: Max Hospital cardiology director shares what perfect Indian plate really looks like: ‘Add 1 or 2 rotis and…’ )

What symptoms distinguish gas from a heart attack

“What are the symptoms that help us differentiate between gas and a heart attack? Many people don’t know this. In India, gas symptoms are very common. People often feel bloated and assume it’s just gas, without chest pain. However, these symptoms can mimic those of a heart attack,” warns Dr Naveen.

He adds, “So, don’t ignore such signs. If you experience them regularly, you must consult a cardiologist. Often, these symptoms, like heaviness in the chest, burping, or bloating, can indicate a silent heart attack, especially in elderly women or those with high blood pressure for a long time.”

When should you consult a cardiologist

Dr Bhamri explains that while gas and indigestion are usually harmless, persistent or recurring symptoms should never be overlooked. “Silent heart attacks may not present with the classic severe chest pain. Instead, they can appear as mild discomfort, bloating, or unusual heaviness in the chest. Timely medical evaluation can be life-saving,” he adds.

He advises individuals, particularly those with risk factors like high blood pressure, diabetes, or a family history of heart disease, to stay alert. Regular check-ups and prompt consultation at the first sign of unusual digestive or chest symptoms can prevent serious complications.

Psychologist shares 5 unique ways to de-stress anywhere, anytime: 4-7-8 breathing trick, squeeze hug and more

Build your mental resilience with the help of these 5 stress reducing techniques that calm you down.

With the relentless pace of life these days, from chasing deadlines at work to fretting over what to make for dinner, stress inevitably creeps in. Regardless of the scale of stress, you find yourself in a state of distress. In simple words, stress is a biological and emotional reaction to any perceived threat. Life tends to throw curveballs, making stress appear anytime and anywhere.

Letting stress bottle up and stay for extended periods may have unintended effects on physical health, making stress management a key priority for mental wellbeing.

To uncover some easy stress-bursting techniques, Aakriti Bhanjo, Counselling Psychologist at Rocket Health, shared with HT Lifestyle how to de-stress efficiently.

She shared an interesting analogy on why stress management is essential and explained, “In today’s fast-paced world, our minds are often overwhelmed and overstimulated. Just like a car cannot keep running smoothly without regular servicing, our minds also need intentional pauses to recharge so they can continue steering us through life’s journey.”

Aakriti revealed these 5 quick ways to de-stress anytime, anywhere:

1. 4-7-8 breathing technique

  • To practice this method, begin by breathing in for 4 seconds, then hold your breath for 7 seconds, and finally breathe out for 8 seconds.
  • Repeating this cycle 3-5 times can help activate your body’s rest and digest system.

2. Progressive Muscle Relaxation

  • This technique involves contracting and relaxing different muscle groups of your body in a specific order.
  • Begin by sitting in a quiet place and focus on a set of any area, such as flexing your calves. Slowly hold the tension for a few seconds and then let it go.
  • Continue this for different muscle groups to increase your sense of relaxation awareness.

3. Doodling

  • Doodling is a great tool to help you return to the present if you find yourself engrossed in stressful thoughts.
  • Simply take 5 minutes to draw endless loops, spirals, or patterns.

4. Squeeze Hug

  • Start by wrapping your arms around yourself, hugging yourself, and gently squeezing for 20- 30 seconds.
  • Breathe slowly while doing it. You can also rock yourself back and forth.

5. Purposeful walk

  • A 10-minute mindful walk can make a lot of difference.
  • This practice involves walking slowly, focusing on the feeling of your feet touching the ground while synchronising your breath with your steps if comfortable.

When you make stress management a part of your daily routine, you become more resilient and can navigate stressful moments in your day better without getting too overwhelmed.

Kareena Kapoor shares Taimur’s funny reaction after she stopped paparazzi from clicking kids: ‘Why can’t they click me?’

by jummy84 October 10, 2025

Bollywood actors Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan have always been among the few celebrity couples who never hid their children’s faces from the paparazzi. However, things changed when Saif was attacked by an intruder in January this year, after which Kareena requested the paparazzi not to photograph their kids. In a recent podcast with Soha Ali Khan, Kareena revealed Taimur’s hilarious reaction to her decision.

Kareena Kapoor recalls Taimur being upset after she asked paparazzi not to click him.

Kareena Kapoor on raising kids in paparazzi culture

Kareena spoke about not growing up in a paparazzi culture and explained how she tries to protect her sons as they grow up in an era of constant public attention. She said, “I have to be thick-skinned, and there’s no other way out. Because if you give in to the toxicity of all of this and get into it, it only feeds it more. So I have to pull back. Luckily, the children are not yet exposed to Instagram and Twitter. They are being photographed, and they understand that their parents are famous.”

Kareena Kapoor on Taimur’s reaction to her stopping paparazzi from clicking him

When asked if her sons ever questioned why strangers constantly take their pictures with big cameras, Kareena replied, “Jeh doesn’t ask. But Tim got used to being clicked, and when I told the paparazzi not to take the kids’ photos, Tim asked me, ‘Why did you ask them not to click me?’ I said, because you’re not a star. He said, ‘But they’re clicking you na, why can’t they click me?’ I said, That’s because I’m famous, you’re just my son. Now he’s figured it out. He’s calculating that basically, he’ll have to become like Lionel Messi or Virat Kohli to get famous. So I told him, you think about how you want to become famous. But now, he’s not bothered anymore.”

Taimur Ali Khan, the elder son of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, has been one of the most talked-about celebrity kids since his birth on 20 December 2016. He became a media sensation, with his adorable looks and playful expressions winning the hearts of fans and photographers alike. He was often photographed on his way to and from school and became known for cheerfully waving at the paparazzi. His popularity grew so much that Taimur dolls even began selling in the market.

Kareena Kapoor’s upcoming film

Kareena is all set to share the screen with Prithviraj Sukumaran in Meghna Gulzar’s upcoming crime drama Daayra. The film went on floors in September this year and is expected to release in 2026. Sharing her excitement about the project, Kareena said, “I cannot wait to work with one of the finest directors we have, @meghnagulzar, and alongside the magnificent @therealprithvi, whose work I deeply admire. To my dream team, #Daayra, let’s do this.”

Charli XCX’s new A24 film ‘The Moment’ shares new teaser clip

by jummy84 October 9, 2025
written by jummy84

The first teaser for Charli XCX’s upcoming new A24 film teaser, The Moment, has been shared today (October 9). Check it out below.

  • READ MORE: Charli XCX – ‘Brat’ review: pop pioneer fully embraces the dancefloor

Back in August, Charli seemingly closed the door on her ‘Brat’ era while also teasing her appearance in the upcoming new A24 film.

Now, a new teaser of the film has been shared which was posted alongside the caption, ‘based on an original idea by Charli XCX’. The music for the project has been made by Charli’s long term producer, A.G. Cook.

Written by Zamiri and Bertie Brandes, Charli star in the film, which, as per the official synopsis, will follow “a rising pop star navigates the complexities of fame and industry pressure while preparing for her arena tour debut.”

The teaser also revealed more of the cast list, which includes Kylie Jenner and Rachel Sennett as well as Rish Shah, who appeared in Ms. Marvel, Isaac Cole Powell, who starred in Armando Iannucci’s HBO series The Franchise, Kate Berlant, who starred alongside Nicolas Cage in 2023 movie Dream Scenario and Stath Lets Flats’ Jamie Demetriou.

Previously-announced cast members include Alexander Skarsgård (Succession), Rosanna Arquette and Trew Mullen (Blink Twice).

In the comments of the teaser’s post on Instagram, director and co-writer of the project Aidan Zamiri, also hinted that the film would follow an unusual structure, writing: “Just checking – a movie is just like a really long video right? or is more like a blog post with pictures?”

You can watch the teaser, which features a re-mix of Icona Pop’s ‘I Don’t Care’, which Charli featured on in 2012, below:

In other news, Charli XCX recently shared studio footage, as her collaborator revealed she’s working on a “really different and fresh” new album.

Following its release last year, ‘Brat’ quickly evolved into a cultural phenomenon, with the concept of ‘Brat’ summer even working its way into Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign.

Last week (October 5), Charli took to X to share a five-second clip from the studio. The audio features some horror soundtrack-esque strings building to a sharp crescendo before coming to a sudden halt.

It’s not clear if this is for the album, but the clip does come after Finn Keane, a producer who worked on ‘Brat’, gave an update on the record’s progress last Monday (September 29). Speaking to Music News at the BMI London Awards, he said: “We’re kinda deep in it now, and I think it’s gonna be really amazing… It feels really different and fresh at the moment.”

Back in May, Charli hinted that she’s expecting her next album to go in a completely different direction, which could result in a “flop”, saying: “You can never really do the same thing twice and my next record will probably be a flop which I’m down for to be honest.”

This isn’t the first time we’ve been told about what her next album could look like. In February, her producers A.G. Cook, Finn Keane and George Daniel – who is also Charli’s husband – teased that the follow-up is shaping up to be “anti-Brat”: “Some of the conversations we’re having and music we’ve been playing around with the last couple of months have been completely the opposite.”

‘Brat’ was named as the Album of the Year by NME, and awarded a four-star review that read: “It all paints a picture of who XCX is in 2024. Growing pains, grief and aching doubts come alongside self-confidence, celebration and the knowledge of the place XCX holds in the musical landscape – indeed, she kicks off ‘360’ with the knowing: “I went my own way and I made it / I’m your favourite reference baby”.

The subsequent remix album, ‘Brat and it’s completely different but also still brat‘, received five stars from NME, with Aneesa Ahmed writing: “In some ways, ‘Brat And It’s Completely Different But Also Still Brat’ is a home run for its creator, letting her finish the game on her own terms.

“She has perfected the art of remixing, keeping the songs moving by giving them a brand new lease of life rather than letting them exist statically in their original form.”

Charli has provided the soundtrack for Emerald Fennell’s Wuthering Heights and, outside of music, has taken on various acting projects lately. She’s starring in 100 Nights Of Hero, adapted from a graphic novel by Isabel Greenberg, the adventure-comedy Sacrifice alongside Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Evans, Pete Ohs’ Erupcja, and the upcoming erotic thriller I Want Your Sex alongside Olivia Wilde and Cooper Hoffman.

In other news, a new Taylor Swift track, ‘Actually Romantic’, is widely rumoured to be a diss track directed at Charli.

Deepika Padukone visited Madhya Pradesh to mark 10 years of her foundation, Live Love Laugh, ahead of World Mental Health Day.

Actor Deepika Padukone has been making headlines for the last few months for various reasons. The actor shared an emotional note on teaming up with Shah Rukh Khan for King, weeks after it was announced that she would not be a part of Kalki 2898 AD sequel. She was also replaced by Triptii Dimri in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit. The actor also heralded a debate on long working hours on sets with these reports.

Deepika Padukone will soon start working on Atlee’s next film, which is tentatively-titled AA22xA6.

The actor, who has been an advocate for mental health, visited Madhya Pradesh to mark 10 years of her foundation, Live Love Laugh, which continues to spread awareness and support for mental health across India.

What Deepika said

At the event, when she was asked if she ever thought she would have to pay a price for asking what she believes is fair, Deepika replied, “I have done this on many levels, this is not new to me I think even as pay is concerned you know I have had to deal with with whatever comes with you know I don’t… I don’t even know what to call it but I am someone who always fought my battles silently, and for some strange reasons, sometimes they become public, which is not the way I know and not the way I’ve been brought up but yes to fight my battles and to do it silently and in a dignified way is the way I know.”

Deepika made her acting debut in Bollywood with Om Shanti Om opposite Shah Rukh Khan. Directed by Farah Khan, the film was released in 2017.

Deepika was last seen in Singham Again, helmed by Rohit Shetty. The film also starred Ranveer, Kareena Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff among others. It was released in theatres last year. She is working with Shah Rukh Khan on his next film, King.

Weight loss coach shares 5 carbs for easy fat loss, saying, ‘Carbs are not the enemy…’

by jummy84 October 9, 2025
written by jummy84

Carbs often take up a fair share of the blame for weight gain. Carbs, despite being an essential macronutrient, are usually villainised to the point of being completely eliminated from the diet. But the reality is much more nuanced, and you don’t need to impose a blanket ban on carbs.

You can lose weight with carbs too! Find out how. (Representative Image: Pexel)

Melissa, a weight loss coach, shared in a September 9 post, debunking the misconception of carbs being the enemy. She explained, “Carbs are not the enemy. I have a client who’s 75 lbs down and eats carbs daily because she’s in a calorie deficit.”

She drew attention to complex carbs’ ability to keep you full for a long time, reducing the chances of derailing calorie-deficit plans by giving in to hunger pangs.

Melissa shared these 6 carbs which help you with weight loss:

1. Oats

First up is oats. The weight loss coach highlighted it’s a good source of soluble fibre, which in turn slows digestion and keeps you full for longer. This also helps to lower hunger pangs, control appetite and reduce snacking urges.

Melissa too, has this carb in her diet. She added, “I make overnight oats or add protein powder to my quick oatmeal in the morning!”

2. Whole-grain bread

Bread is a common source of carbs, but which one you have makes a big difference. Melissa recommended whole-grain bread as it is high in fibre and contains vitamins, iron, magnesium and antioxidants. Often, other types of breads may not have these nutrients. The weight loss coach shared that she often included whole-grain bread in her diet, either as toast with eggs or in her lunch sandwich

3. Non-starchy vegetables

Veggies may not often pop up in mind when you think of calories, but vegetables also contain carbs. According to Melissa, broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, kale, zucchini, bell peppers, and asparagus are some of the options which are low in calories but high in fibre and water. She added, “They fill you up! Also, helps regulate blood sugar and reduce cravings.” For the weight loss coach, half of the plate is occupied by non-starchy veggies.

4. Fruit

Fruits also contain carbs. Melissa revealed that they are naturally sweet, rich in fibre and contain antioxidants. She eats fruit as a snack or with nut butter or Greek yoghurt.

5. Sweet potatoes

The sweeter counterpart of potatoes is on this list, as Melissa highlighted its high fibre content, which keeps hunger at bay. She called it versatile, as it can easily fit in for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

6. Brown, basmati or jasmine rice

Instead of cutting out rice completely, the weight loss coach recommended healthier alternatives like brown, basmati, or jasmine rice, as they are gluten-free and provide a steady source of glucose. For meal planning, she shared that she often mixes rice with cauliflower to create a satisfying, filling meal.

Vascular surgeon warns chronic leg pain and numbness can be a sign of blocked arteries, shares 6 symptoms of PAD

Vascular surgeon warns chronic leg pain and numbness can be a sign of blocked arteries, shares 6 symptoms of PAD

by jummy84 October 9, 2025
written by jummy84

Many people dismiss recurring leg pain or cramps as a normal part of aging, especially when the discomfort fades after resting. But experts warn that this pattern – pain that comes with activity and eases with rest – can be an early sign of underlying conditions like Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD). Ignoring these signals may allow the condition to progress, increasing the risk of serious complications.

Chronic leg pain could point towards Peripheral Artery Disease, according to Dr Sumit Kapadia.(Pixabay)

Dr Sumit Kapadia, a vascular surgeon and varicose vein specialist with 18 years of experience, is raising awareness about the early warning signs of Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD), which includes chronic leg pain. In an Instagram video posted on September 2, he outlines six early warning signs in the legs that may indicate PAD and emphasises that recognising them promptly can help prevent serious complications later.

Leg pain isn’t just ‘getting older’

Dr Kapadia shares an anecdote about a gentleman who paid a visit to his clinic due to pain in his legs, and said, “Doctor, I thought it was just age catching up with me. My legs hurt when I walked, but the pain went away when I rested. I ignored it for months.” When examined, it wasn’t simply age – it was blocked arteries in his legs. Many people assume arterial blockages only affect the heart, but the legs often give early warning signs. Ignoring them can have serious consequences.

Early warning signs

Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) is a condition where arteries in the arms and legs narrow due to plaque buildup, from fats, cholesterol, and other substances, reducing blood flow, according to Mayo Clinic. Detecting it early is crucial, as it allows for interventions that can sometimes prevent surgery. Here are six symptoms listed by Dr Kapadia:

Pain or cramps while walking

Cramping or aching in the legs during walking that subsides with rest is often an early warning sign of blocked arteries, according to Dr Kapadia.

Numbness or weakness

The surgeon mentions that reduced blood flow resulting from Peripheral Artery Disease can lead to numbness or weakness in the legs.

One leg feels colder

Temperature differences between legs may indicate restricted circulation, says the surgeon.

Slow-healing wounds

Cuts, blisters, or sores on the feet that take unusually long to heal can be a red flag.

Shiny skin or loss of hair

Dr Kapadia mentions that changes in skin texture, thinning hair, or a shiny appearance on the legs may suggest compromised blood flow.

Weak pulse

Dr Kapadia suggests that if you notice a reduced, or weaker pulse in the lower limbs, it may signal potential arterial blockage due to PAD.
