One of the most in-demand actresses of today, Triptii Dimri is coming up for O Romeo, co-starring Shahid Kapoor. Billed as a visually rich action thriller with romantic elements. After the makers unveiled Shahid Kapoor’s intense first look, the audiences are even more excited to see what Triptii Dimri has in store. Going by her acting range and the ability to disappear behind characters, she’s setting the stage for something entirely extraordinary! The film releases in theatres on 14th February 2026.
Tamannaah Bhatia
Tamannaah Bhatia is all set to raise the stakes with Vvan – Force of the Forrest, co-starring Sidharth Malhotra. Touted as a folk-thriller and rooted in Indian mythology, the film’s look showcased Tamannaah Bhatia running barefoot in a red saree towards a dense forest, setting the tone for a film that’s never seen before! The film releases in theatres in 2026.
Alia Bhatt
Alia Bhatt is coming up with Alpha, the first female-led spy film from the YRF Spy Universe. Known for her unconventional choices, Alia Bhatt is all set to surprise her fans by entering a new territory. Also starring Sharvari and Bobby Deol, Alpha releases in theatres on 17th April, 2026.
Kriti Sanon
Kriti Sanon brings in a breath of fresh air with Cocktail 2, a spiritual sequel to the 2012 film. Known for the ease she brings to rom-coms, the audiences are specifically excited to see her alongside co-star Shahid Kapoor, especially after their outing in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. Also starring Rashmika Mandanna, Cocktail 2 releases in theatres next year.

Kevin Spacey Set To Face Civil Sex Assault Claims In London Court

Kevin Spacey will face civil claims of sexual assault from three men at the High Court in London next October.

A British performer named Ruari Cannon, who has waived his right to anonymity, and two other claimants who have not, have alleged Spacey abused them between 2000 and 2015.

A judge set the provisional trial date of 12 October 2026 for the cases at a hearing earlier this week. Spacey denies all the allegations.

Spacey was cleared of nine sexual offence charges at a criminal trial in 2023. He was also found not liable in a U.S. civil case brought by actor Anthony Rapp, who alleged Spacey molested him when he was 14.

Spacey made headlines last week with an interview with The Telegraph newspaper during which he described his financial situation as “not great,” adding, “I’m living in hotels, I’m living in Airbnbs, I’m going where the work is. I literally have no home, that’s what I’m attempting to explain.”

The House of Cards alum, who last year appeared on Piers Morgan Uncensored to discuss his debts, including the foreclosure of his Baltimore abode, said, “The costs over these last seven years have been astronomical. I’ve had very little coming in and everything going out.”

Spacey likened his predicament to the experiences of actors of yore, who were swept into the Hollywood blacklist as a result of McCarthyism. He cited Kirk Douglas’ willingness to work with screenwriter Dalton Trumbo, then blacklisted, as the type of strategic allyship that could help him right the ship.

“So, my feeling is if Martin Scorsese or Quentin Tarantino call Evan [Lowenstein, Spacey’s manager] tomorrow, it will be over,” he posited. “I will be incredibly honored and delighted when that level of talent picks up the phone. And I believe it’s going to happen.”

Most recently, Spacey wrapped production in the U.K. on an under-the-radar sci-fi thriller called The Tenth Planet. The project was on sale at this year’s American Film Market.

Melissa McCarthy, Dijon Set For ‘SNL’ In December

Melissa McCarthy and Dijon have been set as Saturday Night Live host and musical guest, respectively, the late-night show revealed on tonight’s episode, which features Glen Powell and Olivia Dean.

The Oscar nominee and R&B singer will appear on Dec. 6, the next episode slated after this week.

As per usual, SNL will take a few weeks off after this week ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday. The show will return for a handful of episodes in December, before going on a midseason hiatus and returning in the new year.

The comedic actress-turned-drama powerhouse McCarthy is a member of the coveted Five-Timers Club. She first hosted in 2011 and last hosted in 2017, whereupon she was presented with the membership jacket by Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin. She has earned an Emmy nomination for each guest hosting stint, winning in 2017.

Her upcoming projects include Paramount+’s limited series about JonBenét Ramsey’s murder and a film adaptation of classic children’s book Miss Nelson is Missing at Netflix.

Dijon, who recently released his second studio album Baby to critical acclaim, is best known for tracks like “Yamaha” and “The Dress.” The alternative/neo-soul artist has collaborated with the likes of Charli XCX, Kenny Beats, Brockhampton, Justin Bieber and Mk.gee (who made his own debut on SNL last year).

Season 51 of the Lorne Michaels-helmed sketch series has thus far featured Bad Bunny, Amy Poehler, Sabrina Carpenter, Miles Teller and Nikki Glaser as hosts. Musical guests have included Doja Cat, Carpenter, Brandi Carlile and Role Model.

Taylor Swift’s heartfelt letter to the late Liam Payne is expected to sell for thousands at auction.

Taylor Swift’s letter to Liam Payne is going up for auction

The 35-year-old pop star expressed her support for the singer, who passed away aged 31 last year after falling from a hotel balcony in Argentina, in a note that could fetch up to $13,000 when Omega Auctions begin accepting bids next month.

Taylor wrote the note in December 2017 – shortly before performing at the Jingle Bell Ball in London – where she praised Liam’s solo single Bedroom Floor.

The Fate of Ophelia singer – who once dated Liam’s former One Direction bandmate Harry Styles – penned: “Liam, long time no see! I’m so excited for you. You’re crushing it out there. I’m obsessed with Bedroom Floor.

“It’s so cool to see you from afar, I’m always cheering you on. Good luck tonight!”

The letter was enclosed in an envelope with “Liam” written on it, decorated with small stars and sealed with a wax “T”, while “Nashville, Tennessee” was printed on the back.

Payne is believed to have given the letter to a close friend after receiving it.

Collectors see the note as historically significant and emotional meaningful due to Taylor’s encouraging message.

Last month marked the first anniversary of Liam’s tragic passing and his sister Ruth Gibbins admitted that she has been “paralysed” by grief ever since.

Part of her tribute, which she shared on Instagram, read: “I underestimated grief, woah, did I underestimate it. I am paralysed by it daily.

“I thought I had felt it before but I know the losses before you were just intense sadness, you are the loss of my life, the one person who l will miss at every single occasion in my life. I’d taken for granted that my little brother would be there through life.

“You shouldn’t have died.”

Following Liam’s death, Ruth has been suffering from a recurring nightmare where she is in the One Direction star’s hotel room, but he cannot hear her “screaming” for him.

She added: “My brain is locked on your last minutes on this earth, the unaccounted minutes, the minutes I will never have the answers to, the minutes that changed everything.”

Magdalena Bay to Release New Songs in Nice Day Box Set

Magdalena Bay have released another pair of new songs: “This Is the World (I Made It for You)” and “Nice Day” follow three other double-singles the band has shared in the autumn. Listen to the new tracks below.

Mica Tenenbaum and Matthew Lewin kicked off their recent run of productivity, in late September, with “Second Sleep” and “Star Eyes.” They next released “Human Happens” and “Paint Me a Picture,” in mid-October, and “Unoriginal” and “Black-Eyed Susan Climb” on Halloween. All eight songs are now being collected in a box set called Nice Day: A Collection of Singles. They’re available separately as 7″ vinyl singles, too.

Regarding today’s new songs Tenenbaum and Lewin said, “This is the final pair. (We made it for you.) Thank you for listening to these songs; it’s been a nice day to tangle with you.”

The Nice Day songs follow Magdalena Bay’s Imaginal Disk. They remain on tour in support of the album.

At one point, they locked lips while cracking a few jokes about their link-up. Blue called Hazel his Golden Retriever and dubbed himself the 101 Dalmatians. Hazel played along claiming she’s the “only” golden retriever. She even threw a warning at any ladies who attempt to take her spot, saying, “Pick a new species b*****s.”

While gushing over each other, Hazel said she doesn’t pay attention to the comments or haters. “Oh well, you snooze, you lose baby! Choose up! And if I want me the hottest YN in the game I’m gonna go get ’em,” Hazel said. Blue added that he was happy to be exploring something new with Hazel. And when it comes to the shade, he doesn’t mind it! In fact, he said, “he loves it!”

Brookside set to air until 2029 as new deal is signed following Hollyoaks crossover

Rejoice, Brookside fans! Your favourite Liverpudlian soap will continue to stream on STV Player for the next three years.

The classic Channel 4 drama, which originally aired between 1982 and 2003, has been dropping five classic episodes on the Scottish streaming service since 2023 – much to the delight of viewers who have called for a Brookie comeback for decades.

Trips to the cul-de-sac have been a roaring success for the streamer, having amassed 1 million streams within a month of arriving, and now hitting over 33 million in the last two years.

Now, after a unique crossover event to celebrate 30 years of sister show Hollyoaks – which saw a number of favourite characters return – STV has signed on the dotted line with distributor All3Media to continue delivering the action.

The new deal will allow fans to see a number of iconic storylines that are still fondly remembered today. These include the UK’s first pre-watershed lesbian kiss between characters Beth Jordache (Anna Friel) and Margaret Clemence (Nicola Stephenson), and the burial of Trevor Jordache (Bryan Murray) under the patio at No. 10.

There’s also the introduction of the Dixon clan, including Hollyoaks favourite Alex Fletcher as Jacqui, and newcomer Lindsey Corkhill, who was played by Corrie’s Claire Sweeney.

Richard Williams, STV’s Managing Director for Audience (Video & Technology), said it was a “no-brainer” to extend the partnership.

“The phenomenal response we’ve had since relaunching Brookside proves that it’s an integral piece of British TV history with an enduring impact, and we’re proud to be able to call STV Player its long-term home.”

Gary Woolf at All3Media International, added: “Fans up and down the UK have embraced having the soap available weekly on STV Player, with social media buzzing each week around the regular Wednesday five-episode drop.

“It’s fantastic that we’re able to continue with that experience as we hit a real ‘golden era’ for the soap over the coming few years.”

John Whittle, Managing Director of original producers Lime Pictures, reflected on the recent crossover edition: “Lime Pictures are delighted that fans of Brookside can continue to enjoy original episodes for years to come.”

“As shown by the success of the recent Brookside crossover episode, the demand is there for these much-loved, familiar characters and soap archetypes to be back on our screens.”

‘The Price Is Right’ Audience Goes Wild as Veteran Wins Backyard Set

Marine radio operator Joshua Sturgil won a backyard set on The Price Is Right‘s Veterans Day episode by playing a near-perfect Hi-Low game.
The audience, filled with active-duty and retired military, erupted in cheers as Sturgil correctly identified the three most expensive grocery items to win the prize package worth $6,310.
Although Sturgil did not advance to the Showcase, the special episode also featured NCIS: Origins stars presenting a military-themed showcase trip.

The Price Is Right audience had a wild reaction after a veteran won a backyard set on an easy game. The contestant played a near-perfect game on November 11, the Veterans Day tribute episode.

Joshua Sturgil, an active-duty radio operator for the Marines, won the third item up for bid, which was a massage chair with air bag compression. He bid $1,750 on the item, which was the highest bid. The price was actually $1,800. He and host Drew Carey connected since that is what Carey did in the military.

Sturgil played Hi-Low for a UV-protected 7×7 Rubbermaid shed, a robotic lawn mower, a 20-volt, nine-piece tool kit, two grills and grill covers, and a weatherproof 4k Smart TV, worth $6,310.

The way the game works is that the game show contestant is given six grocery store items. There are three items that are more expensive than the other three, and it is up to the contestant to figure out which ones they are in order to win the prizes. The six items were movie theater popcorn, sour cherry spread, Oxi-Clean bathroom cleaner, Skittles, a Power Crunch protein bar, and liquid antacid.

Sturgil picked the antacid as the most expensive item. It was $11.49.

He then went with the sour cherry spread, which was $7.99. For the third most expensive item, Sturgil chose the Oxi-Clean.

“That’s what I would have picked,” Drew Carey said. The cleaner was $6.99.

The next three items had to be under $6.99 in order for him to win. The Skittles were $1.99. The protein bar was $2.19. The popcorn was $4.99, so he won the prize.

Sturgil jumped up and down as the audience, which was filled with active-duty and retired military, roared. His fellow Marines gave a loud chant. Sturgil threw up his hands and encouraged the crowd to cheer louder.

Sturgil spun an .80 on the Showcase Showdown wheel, but didn’t make it to the Showcase as his opponent spun an .85.

Also on the episode were NCIS: Origins stars Austin Stowell and Mariel Molino, who play Marines on the CBS show. The pair presented a showcase, which included a trip to where the drama is filmed.

#MeganTheeStallion’s courtroom showdown with #MilagroGramz is approaching.

As previously reported, Megan sued Gramz, whose real name is Milagro Cooper, accusing the blogger of orchestrating a harassment campaign to defame her amid the #ToryLanez sh**ting case. The suit includes claims of defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress, and alleges that Gramz worked closely with Lanez and his father during the cyberstalking.

According to court documents obtained by journalist Meghann Cuniff, potential jurors may be asked questions such as, “Have you heard of Daystar Peterson, professionally known as Tory Lanez, before today?” and “Are you aware of the criminal trial where Tory Lanez was convicted of shooting Megan Thee Stallion? If so, do you have any opinions, positive or negative, about the outcome of that case?”

The trial is set to begin next week, with more updates expected soon.
