Ghostface is back! As always! Scream VII brings back the original creator & writer of the whole franchise, Kevin Williamson, who co-wrote and is directing this, too. It’s set for release in February 2026 but this trailer is dropping just in time for Halloween. “I’m gonna burn it all down.” When a new Ghostface killer emerges in the quiet town where Sidney Prescott has built a new life, her darkest fears are realized as her daughter becomes the target. Determined to protect her family, Sidney must face the horrors of her past to put an end to the bloodshed. The huge ensemble cast features a few original actors & many more: Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, Isabel May, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, Anna Camp, Joel McHale, Mckenna Grace, Michelle Randolph, Jimmy Tatro, Asa Germann, Celeste O’Connor, Sam Rechner, Tim Simons, Ethan Embry, Mark Consuelos. “I want the Fox and Rabbit gone!” 🐍 Disney has revealed another new international trailer for the highly anticipated sequel Zootopia 2, the long-awaited follow-up to the fan favorite Zootopia movie from 2016. Out in theaters worldwide in November in just a few more weeks. Detectives Judy Hopps & Nick Wilde must go undercover to crack a mysterious case when they find themselves on the twisting trail of an intriguing reptile. The main voice cast features Ginnifer Goodwin as Judy, Jason Bateman as Nick, along with Shakira as Gazelle, reprising their roles. Also starring Idris Elba as Chief Bogo, Ke Huy Quan as Gary De’Snake, Fortune Feimster as Nibbles, and Quinta Brunson as Dr. Fuzzby in fun new roles. The plot involves chasing after a snake in Zootopia. “Zootopia will be changed furrrever…” Don’t forget that Zootopia has different titles in different countries. It also goes under the names Zootropolis (in Italy), Zoomania (in Germany), Zootopie (in France) just to fit better with local languages. This still looks like it’ll be worth the wait! A fun adventure plot with Nick & Judy working together again – and also causing even more chaos.

“I just want to write something that helps people.” Lionsgate has revealed the official trailer for a movie called I Can Only Imagine 2, a sequel to the faith-based music movie hit I Can Only Imagine from 2018. Inspired by the life story of musician Bart Millard and his band MercyMe, this sequel continues on the next steps forward following up on the sudden success seen in the first movie. It’s opening in theaters next February. From co-directors Andrew Erwin and Brent McCorkle, starring John Michael Finley back again in the lead role. Bart Millard, lead singer of MercyMe, faces a personal crisis at the peak of his success. As his world unravels, he struggles with his beliefs & inner demons while seeking a path through adversity. Based on the heartfelt true story behind the hit single “Even If” (listen to it here), I Can Only Imagine 2 is the inspiring next chapter of faith, family, and finding God in the fire. This sequel stars John Michael Finley, Milo Ventimiglia, Sophie Skelton, Arielle Kebbel, Sammy Dell, with Trace Adkins and Dennis Quaid. After his last film, the Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR starrer action-thriller War 2, underperformed in theaters, filmmaker Ayan Mukerji’s recent social media post sparked speculation about the sequel to Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva. While the massively mounted 2022 film received mixed reviews from critics, it struck the right chord with a large segment of cinephiles, thanks to the lead pair of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt and world-class visual effects.

If the speculation turns out to be true, and the much-anticipated sequel Brahmāstra: Part Two – Dev is indeed happening, the big question is, who will play the titular role this time? Here are five Indian actors who could be a perfect fit to play Dev in Ayan Mukerji’s ambitious second installment of the planned trilogy.

1. Ranveer Singh

Ever since the release of the first Brahmāstra film, many fans have speculated that Ranveer Singh could play Dev, while Deepika Padukone might portray Amrita. The ever-energetic Gully Boy actor, who will next be seen in Aditya Dhar’s spy actioner Dhurandhar, is undoubtedly one of the most exciting choices to bring Dev’s intense and fiery character to life.

2. Hrithik Roshan

While his last film, War 2, also directed by Ayan Mukerji, may not have performed at the box office as expected, one should never underestimate Hrithik Roshan’s star power, box office appeal, and acting prowess. He has the intensity and screen presence needed to portray the formidable Dev in Brahmāstra: Part Two – Dev. If that happens, fans will finally witness two powerhouse performers, Hrithik Roshan and Ranbir Kapoor, sharing screen space for the very first time.

3. Ranbir Kapoor

There is a chance that Ranbir Kapoor himself may play the double role of Shiva and Dev in the sequel. Previously, the Animal actor had played the double role of a father and son in Karan Malhotra’s Shamshera. While the period action drama didn’t do well at the box office, Ranbir Kapoor can turn things around in Brahmāstra: Part Two – Dev. The immensely talented actor is gearing up for his next films: Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War and Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana Part One.

4. Prabhas

Casting the Baahubali star Prabhas in a big-ticket film like Brahmāstra: Part Two – Dev alongside Ranbir Kapoor would be a dream come true for fans. If it happens, Ayan Mukerji’s sequel could truly become a pan-Indian cinematic spectacle. The Rebel Star is next set to appear in the romantic horror-comedy The RajaSaab, followed by Hanu Raghavapudi’s next and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit.

5. Jr. NTR

The RRR star Jr. NTR is undoubtedly one of the most intense and talented actors in Indian cinema. His electrifying screen presence was on full display in his recent outing, War 2. Sharing the screen with Ranbir Kapoor could offer audiences a fresh and compelling male lead duo, creating a unique cinematic experience. Jr. NTR fans are also eagerly anticipating his next project with director Prashanth Neel.

‘Wicked’ sequel will feature a surprise Hollywood star as the Cowardly Lion

Director Jon M. Chu has teased that Wicked: For Good will feature a surprise Hollywood star in the role of the Cowardly Lion.

The sequel to last year’s Wicked is set to be released in cinemas on November 21, and it will catch up with Cynthia Erivo’s Elphaba and Ariana Grande’s Glinda after the conclusion of the first film as they embrace their identities as the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good respectively.

Jonathan Bailey, Michelle Yeoh and Jeff Goldblum are among the other actors that will reprise their roles in the new film, and now Chu, who also helmed the first instalment, has teased that a familiar name will be voicing the Cowardly Lion.

The film is adapted from the second act of the 2003 stage musical by Stephen Schwartz and Winnie Holzman and it includes action from both before and after Dorothy Gale’s arrival from Kansas in the Land of Oz. As such, there will be some inclusion of the other iconic characters from The Wizard Of Oz, the Tin Man, the Scarecrow and the Lion.

In an interview with Deadline, Chu spoke about reaching out to a secret star on Instagram to offer him the role.

“I was like, ‘It’s not a ton of lines, but maybe you have a little time. I know you’re busy. I’ll come to you.’ He was like, ‘Why the fuck not, let’s go!’ And then we went ahead and recorded the lines,” Chu said.

“Man, wait until the red carpet when the actor who gave us the Cowardly Lion’s voice steps foot on it. It’ll be wild,” he added.

The name has not been disclosed, but some fans of the films have suggested it could be Lin-Manuel Miranda, who is known to have been eager to star in the first film, with others speculating about Jack Black and J.K. Simmons.

The trailer for Wicked: For Good first premiered at CinemaCon back in April, and was praised by those in attendance.

Wicked received a four-star review from NME, with Nick Levine writing: “By the end, you won’t quite be levitating off your seat but you’ll definitely be enchanted enough to stream the soundtrack on the way home. Funny, colourful and full of empathy for outsiders, this film really is the Shiz.”

Chu claimed last year For Good is “more relevant” to where we are “in society right now,”: “Part Two, I will say because I’ve cut Part Two together, is a doozy. “[You’re] getting the meat. I did not know the context of where we’d be in society right now. It becomes eight times more relevant than before when you’re talking about truth and consequences of making the right or wrong choices. It’s intense.”

Erivo previously revealed that she co-wrote an original song for For Good. “I collaborated on one of the new songs, and it’s so special to me,” she said. “When we filmed it, the entire crew was in tears. I hope audiences are ready – it’s a song that speaks to the heart of who Elphaba is.”

Red, White & Royal Blue made the leap from book to screen in 2023 — so much so that it was nominated for Best Television Movie at the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards! The film adaptation of Casey McQuiston’s best-selling novel hit Prime Video in August 2023. Taylor Zakhar Perez and Nicholas Galitzine star as Alex Claremont-Diaz, the First Son of the United States, and Prince Henry of England, and the film chronicles Alex and Henry’s love story.

Thank to the big demand from fans and the success of the original film, Red, White & Royal Blue 2 (which is not the sequel’s official title) is now in development. Hollywood Life has rounded up everything we know about what’s next for Alex and Henry.

Red, White & Royal Blue 2 Release Date Updates

On May 9, 2024, the cast and crew of Red, White & Royal Blue appeared at a post-screening Q&A in Los Angeles, where Matthew and Casey confirmed to an eager audience that they are, in fact, writing the sequel.

After being asked whether or not there would be a second film, Matthew enthusiastically confirmed the news to a crowd of screaming fans.

More than one year later, Prime Video confirmed that the sequel was in development by sharing an Instagram video titled with the film’s title: Red, White & Royal Wedding. Jamie Babbit will direct the second movie. A release date has yet to be confirmed.

Is There More to Alex & Henry’s Story?

Yes! In October 2022, Casey published a bonus chapter that was part of a Red, White & Royal Blue collector’s edition. The epilogue, told through Henry’s perspective, picks up seven years after the events of Red, White & Royal Blue.

Over the course of the chapter, readers learn what Alex and Henry have been up to. Alex and Henry are engaged and planning on getting married. They’re living in a brownstone in Brooklyn that Henry bought after he abdicated from his role in the royal family.

Alex has begun to wrestle over whether or not he really wants to be a hot-shot lawyer for the rest of his career. In time, Alex and Henry decide they want a simple life together out of the spotlight. They decide to move to Austin, Alex’s hometown, at the end of the chapter.

Casey had clearly been mulling over the next chapter of Alex and Henry’s love story for a few years. “Anything’s possible,” the author told Hello! about a sequel to their book in 2019. “I will say I have plenty of ideas for stories set in this world and would love the chance to explore one of them someday. I would be surprised if you’ve seen the last of Alex and Henry.”

When asked about a movie sequel, director Matthew López told TVGuide.com, “Let’s get this thing open first. Then I would need to talk to Casey, and both Taylor and Nick would need to be game. But if we are so lucky as to have people want more, then we would be fools not to at least have a conversation.”

What Happened at the End of the Red, White & Royal Blue Movie?

The ending of the Red, White & Royal Blue movie mirrors what happens in the book. The final minutes of the movie take place on election night. Henry is by Alex’s side as President Claremont’s entire team awaits the results of the election. It all comes down to Texas, and Alex’s mom is able to flip Texas and win the election. Henry proudly joins Alex on stage for President Claremont’s victory speech, their love on full display to the world.

After the election night madness is over, Alex and Henry go to Alex’s childhood home in Austin. Alex shows Henry the home he grew up in, using the key he gave Henry to wear around his neck.

How Many Parent Trap Movies Are There?

In total, there are five movies in The Parent Trap film series. The first movie, based on the 1949 book Lisa and Lottie, premiered in 1961 and was partially produced by Walt Disney. The Parent Trap II, III and Hawaiian Honeymoon were released throughout the 1980s.

The famous Parent Trap movie that millennials and Gen-Z audiences grew up with came out in 1998.

Is There a Parent Trap 2 in the Works?

No, not at the moment, but fans should never say never. During an October 2025 interview with Extra behind the scenes of Dancing With the Stars, Dennis, Elaine and Lisa were asked if they wanted to call Lindsay about a sequel idea.

“There has to be this whole Meredith-Annie-Hallie thing has got to be — this needs some redemption to it,” Dennis said, before adding, “Justice for Meredith.”

Four months prior, Elaine was asked about the sequel, and she said there are “always rumors” about one, but she didn’t “known where they come from.”

“I think it’s mostly [from] fans who would love to see that,” the actress pointed out, per Entertainment Weekly.

It has been produced by T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar & Krishan Kumar and Luv Films’ Luv Ranjan & Ankur Garg. The film is set to release in cinemas on 14th November 2025.

“Follow your heart, feel the love, and find your home with The Family McMullen.” Warner Bros revealed the official trailer for The Family McMullen, a new movie made by Edward Burns. It’s the long-awaited follow-up to the first film that Edward Burns ever directed called The Brothers McMullen (in 1995), about three Irish Catholic brothers from Long Island. As with the original,  The Family McMullen is an ensemble comedy both written and directed by Edward Burns – which tracks the romantic entanglements of a now 50-something Barry McMullen (Burns) and his 20-something kids, as well as his brother Patrick and widowed sister-in-law Molly, who are also facing unexpected romantic hurdles. It’s getting a one-day-only release in theaters this month, before it’s available to watch at home anytime. 🎄 The Family McMullen stars Connie Britton, Edward Burns, & Michael McGlone reprising their roles in the first film, along with Tracee Ellis Ross, Halston Sage, Juliana Canfield, Pico Alexander, and Brain d’Arcy James. This looks much more cheesier (about the kids this time!) and more like a Hallmark Channel movie than the original.
