DWTS Season 34 Week 8 Rock & Roll Night: All Scores, Eliminations

by jummy84 November 5, 2025
written by jummy84

[This story contains spoilers from episode eight of Dancing With the Stars season 34.]

Dancing With the Stars‘ rocked and rolled all night Tuesday as the cast celebrated Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night.

Tuesday’s episode marked the return of group dances, which saw the cast cut into half as each group performed alongside one of the co-hosts, Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro.

Danielle Fishel and Pasha Pashkov were eliminated from Dancing With the Stars season 34 at the end of the episode.

At the top of the show, Ribeiro revealed the couple who finished at the top of the leaderboard would be granted immunity from the relay dances next week, and would earn bonus points towards next Tuesday’s 20th Birthday Party celebration episode — if they survived elimination, of course.

While both Whitney Leavitt and Alix Earle tied for the highest individual score of the night (both with a 39/40), the tie was broken by awarding immunity to Leavitt for having the highest cumulative judges scores from across season 34.

Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Leavitt, social media star Earle, Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles, The Traitors season three winner (and Zac Efron’s brother) Dylan Efron, actress Elaine Hendrix, conservationist (and son of Steve Irwin) Robert Irwin and comedian-actor Andy Richter comprise the remaining cast of celebrities, while Fishel was eliminated from the competition Tuesday night.

Hendrix suffered an injury last Tuesday that prohibited her from dancing on Halloween Night. Instead of performing live, she earned a 32/40 based on rehearsal footage reviewed by the judges. She was not eliminated from the show or prohibited to continue dancing, meaning she will perform an individual dance and partake in a group number on Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night.

After performing a Viennese waltz to “What the World Needs Now Is Love,” Hendrix gave a brief update on how she’s been doing since the injury, noting that she’s been feeling “very solid and strong and grateful.”

With only eight celebrities left in the competition heading into the episode, season 34 of Dancing With the Stars is nearing its end. After Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night, there are only three episodes left, including Nov. 25’s special three-hour finale.

Still, after Tuesday’s episode, none of the couples have yet received a perfect score from the panel of judges. Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night did see the first 40/40 handed out to Team Chicago, though no individual couples have earned a perfect score.

During the individual dances, Earle and Leavitt nearly earned perfect scores, both scoring 39/40. Chiles and Irwin trailed close behind them, with respective scores of 38/40 each.

Last week’s Halloween Night saw the couples perform spooky numbers and compete in the dance marathon, while Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jen Affleck and her partner Jan Ravnik were eliminated from the competition. (The Hollywood Reporter was in the ballroom to capture all the behind-the-scenes moments that cameras missed.)

Flavor Flav served as a guest judge alongside mainstay judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli.

The couple with the lowest combined total of judges’ scores and viewer votes is eliminated at the end of each episode. Live voting takes place during the East Coast airing of each show and ends shortly after the final performance is completed.

See the full list of scores for week eight of DWTS season 34 (aka Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night) below.

After completing their military service earlier this year, BTS members Jimin and Jungkook are ready to take fans on a new adventure. The duo, who enlisted together as buddy soldiers in the Republic of Korea military on December 12, 2023, were officially discharged on June 11, 2025. Just a week later, the two set off for Switzerland and Vietnam, filming the second season of their beloved travel variety show, Are You Sure?!

Now confirmed to premiere on December 3, 2025, Are You Sure?! Season 2 will stream exclusively on Disney+, featuring eight episodes released two per week over four weeks. The show follows Jimin and Jungkook on a 12-day minimalist journey across two Asian countries, equipped with only a limited budget, minimal luggage, and an old travel guidebook. Viewers will see how the duo earn their own living expenses, interact with locals, and embrace spontaneous experiences — all while showcasing their easy camaraderie and humor.

The new season promises laughter, heartfelt moments, and glimpses of how much the pair have grown since their pre-military travels in Season 1. Stills from the show capture the singers posing in front of Switzerland’s Matterhorn and enjoying a tranquil night view at Hoi An Beach in Vietnam.

The first season of Are You Sure?! took fans along as the duo explored New York State, Jeju Island, and Sapporo, with V making a brief guest appearance. The series became a fan favorite for its warm, healing atmosphere and genuine friendship moments.

Excitement is building among the ARMY, especially with rumors that BTS leader RM may join Jimin and Jungkook in Switzerland during his visit to Art Basel, adding another layer of nostalgia and connection to the show.

Will ‘The Lowdown’ Return for Season 2? Ethan Hawke Breaks Down the Finale Episode (Exclusive)

by jummy84 November 5, 2025
written by jummy84

What To Know

  • The Lowdown star Ethan Hawke discusses the show’s season finale episode, “The Sensitive Kind.”
  • The actor teases what could happen next after the ending.
  • Plus, get an exclusive peek at an intimate conversation between Hawke and costar Kyle MacLachlan.

[Warning: The below contains MAJOR spoilers for The Lowdown Season 1 Episode 8, “The Sensitive Kind.”]

The debut season of FX‘s ragtag noir The Lowdown, from creator Sterlin Harjo, came to an explosive ending as the mystery behind Dale Washberg’s (Tim Blake Nelson) death was unraveled by Tulsa’s resident “trusthstorian,” Lee Raybon (Ethan Hawke).

The episode, “The Sensitive Kind,” opened up where the previous episode left off, moments after Lee had chased Akron businessman Frank (Tracy Letts) into the One Well Church helmed by Mark Russell (Paul Sparks). As Lee realized he’d stepped into some real potential danger amidst the neo Nazis, Marty (Keith David) entered the space and claimed he was undercover and taking Lee into custody.

The ruse lasted only seconds for the men to get out the door and into Lee’s van, but they didn’t get away unscathed as Marty got grazed by a stray bullet when the One Well group charged after them, guns ablaze. While the men ultimately got away, Lee faced the consequences of his actions when artist Chutto (Mato Wayuhi) broke his shop window in retaliation for his grandfather Arthur’s (Graham Greene) death, which was unknowingly put in motion when he called Betty Jo (Jeanne Tripplehorn) and she sent Frank in search of Dale’s lost will.

While Lee told Chutto the land Dale had wanted to gift Arthur belonged to him, the young man didn’t want it, and that left the reporter to rethink his next move. As he tried to piece his latest story together, Lee faced his relationship with his daughter, Francis (Ryan Kiera Armstrong), who read a poem about his breakup with ex-wife Sam (Kaniehtiio Horn), which also forced Lee to reconcile his role as a father.

Shane Brown / FX

After he left Dale’s letters to his daughter Pearl (Ken Pomeroy), Betty Jo called Lee up, enraged and wanting answers, but that was exactly what Lee hoped for. The pair met in a neutral spot, and while Lee couldn’t say if the letters revealed that Donald (Kyle MacLachlan) was Pearl’s biological father, the conversation revealed that she had knowledge of Dale’s true death.

Lee took that and went off to write his story, but he recruited Marty to get Donald to a neutral location at Cyrus’s (Killer Mike) office to allow the political candidate an opportunity to read it first and offer a statement. Lee explained that Dale had been shot accidentally and was originally meant to be scared into selling his land. When Lee relayed to Donald that he had an opportunity to do something good with Dale’s legacy, he decided to gift the land to the Osage and cut ties with the wealthy power players in the area.

The episode concluded with Lee attending Sam’s wedding to Johnny (Rafael Casal), where he wished the newlyweds well, and set a boundary with his daughter, putting her best interest ahead of his own by telling her to stay full-time with her mother and stepfather. It was both a buttoned-up and open ending in a way that leaves us satisfied and hungry for more.

Below, star Ethan Hawke breaks down the finale’s highlights on community, filming alongside a star-studded ensemble, and the importance of story. (Plus, get an exclusive look at an intimate conversation between Hawke and MacLachlan in the video below).

I loved that book shop moment from the beginning, where Lee interacts with Dale, and later in the episode, when Donald asks if they ever met, Lee says he never did. Was he lying, or did he just not remember meeting Dale?

Ethan Hawke: It’s kind of wonderfully mysterious, isn’t it? In my imagination, Lee didn’t remember that he’d met him until right then, all of a sudden. Sometimes that happens to you. You’re like, “Oh, wait, I remember something I hadn’t remembered before.” But he doesn’t have the confidence to verbalize it. Or maybe he always remembered, I don’t know. But it kind of gets at the wonderful nuance of truth-telling and how we all shade and hide the truth for when it makes sense to us and when we want to. And that’s how a lot of accidents happen.

That confrontation at One Well Church when Marty has to step in and save Lee is tense. How was it filming that sequence?

It was such a strange day of shooting to have all these unbelievably talented people there. I mean, Tracy Letts is one of the great American playwrights, and there he is acting with us, and Tom McCarthy is a brilliant filmmaker himself, and he’s there. Keith’s so genuine, a bona fide legend. I’ve loved Paul Sparks’ acting forever; he is one of my favorite actors. And so it was a great group of people. One of the fun things about playing Lee is that he’s just always thinking on his feet. He doesn’t really have a plan, and sometimes he’s really brave but in a stupid way. None of it’s thought out, and I don’t think he thinks through that moment. He’s just chasing [Frank] into that church, not really thinking about what he’s going to do, and then he’s just a cat trying to stay alive.

Shane Brown / FX

Speaking of Lee not thinking things through, he ultimately got Arthur killed in the previous episode because he spoke too openly in front of Betty Jo, and Lee is on the receiving end of Chutto’s anger because of it. Was that a learning moment for him? Will he be more careful moving forward?

I think it’s what pushes the show into the deep end of the pool. It’s that sometimes all these characters — Lee and everybody — they’re breaking hearts and doing good and bad things simultaneously, and that’s the complexity and nuance of real life. Good guys don’t wear white hats and bad guys don’t wear black hats. I do think that scene that you mentioned with Chutto is the first real smack of humility that Lee gets. He sees himself as a caped crusader, and he’s forced to stare in the mirror and see that he’s not clean. And the great thing about that is if you can absorb humility the right way, it can lead to compassion. It’s what makes him able to make the necessary compromises to put aside the article he wants to write and write a different article that actually could serve a good purpose, and also helps him to be a good enough man and father to show up for his daughter at his ex-wife’s wedding.

Lee and Donald’s conversation in Cyrus’s office reveals that he didn’t know Betty Jo had gotten Dale killed. How important is it for Lee and Donald to share that moment of connection that leads to Donald handing over Dale’s land to the Osage?

Whether he’s doing that just to get out of trouble or whether he is doing it to be a good person, we don’t really know, but it doesn’t really matter. He’s doing the right thing. My favorite part of the show is when the season starts with Lee comparing Donald Washburg to Adolf Hitler, which is what we do when we want to demonize somebody today. The left wing calls people Adolf Hitler, the right wing calls people Nazis… And of course, at the end of the show, he realizes, this is a human being trying to play the cards he’s dealt. He thinks he’s a good person. He didn’t know that his brother was murdered; he wasn’t a part of it. He did look the other way when it was to his best interest, which is exactly what Lee’s done.

Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Kaniehtiio Horn, Rafael Casal, and Ethan Hawke in 'The Lowdown' finale

Shane Brown / FX

Did you know how Dale’s death really unfolded throughout filming, or did you learn when filming the finale episode? How did that process unfold?

The process was so mysterious. It really started with Sterlin having this idea for a show, and I don’t think he really knew exactly where it was going. He knew how it was going to end, and he knew what the feeling was. How we got there was mysterious to all of us. In a lot of ways, the show’s really about community, and the mystery is in service of the characters, which is why I love it.

In one of our first conversations about it, we talked through the wedding scene with the daughter and knew that was what it had to drive towards. It’s Lee’s journey about what it means to be a good man and how we can view our sensitivities as strengths and not weaknesses. The whole murder mystery part of it had some movement as we told the story. I used to make up stories for my kids when they would fall asleep, and sometimes, when you just let your subconscious roll, great stuff happens. They would fall asleep [and I’d be like] I’ve got to go write that down, but then I could never remember it.

Where do you think Lee and Francis stand after he tells her to live with her mother full-time? Is there a sense of rejection there?

It’s wonderfully nuanced because for the first time, he’s really trying to see what is in her best interest, and he sees that she has a good stepfather and that they have a good thing going, and that might be a great resource and value to her. He’s not seeing her life as a reflection of him, but as her own life. And so, in a way, it’s a mark of wisdom, and in another way, it’s really disappointing to her. She wants to be loved wholly and completely and blindly. And I think the feeling I get from that last scene is that they’re going to find their way, but I would love to do a second season just because her character’s getting to be a really interesting age and her problems are going to get more complicated. It’d be wonderful to see Lee try to parent a teenage daughter.

The full-circle nature of Lee gifting Samantha the painting he stole in the premiere episode is so satisfying. Is there more to uncover in terms of their history?

I think so, definitely. I mean, Tiio and Rafael are such great actors, and I would love to see the ongoing dynamics between all three of them. I would love to see future parent-teacher conferences where they all sit there and pick her.

Have there been any discussions about where the show might go if it’s picked up for Season 2?

Of course, we can’t help but daydream, but the truth is, I feel really proud of Episode 8. I love the way the show resolves, and I’m excited for audiences to see it. And the TV gods have to decide whether or not there’s an audience for it.

Who won The Great British Bake Off 2025? Season 16 winner crowned

by jummy84 November 5, 2025
written by jummy84

After 10 weeks of laughter, tears and a few Hollywood handshakes, the winner of The Great British Bake Off 2025 has finally been crowned.

Tonight (4th November), the three finalists Tom, Aaron and Jasmine faced their biggest challenges yet, with pressure at an all-time high and higher stakes than ever before.

The three remaining bakers battled it out in the iconic tent for their final tasks that tested every aspect of their baking prowess.

For the signature challenge, the bakers had to create the classic British iced finger bun, wowing the judges with their flavours and techniques in the process.

Next up was a jaw-dropping tower of French delights in the technical, and for their last ever bake, the finalists were tasked with making the largest cake in Bake Off history!

After much deliberation, Jasmine was crowned the winner of The Great British Bake Off 2025.

Alison Hammond had the pleasure of letting the 23-year-old know she had named the ultimate Star Baker.

During her time on the show, she received two Hollywood handshakes and scored five Star Baker wins, the latter of which makes her the second contestant in Bake Off history to achieve that.

Jasmine said of her win: “Oh my goodness I am just so overjoyed! When I was in the middle of exams and trying to bake while I was trying to learn, it’s been so much. But I have done it and I am just so unbelievably happy and to have done it with such an awesome group of people.

“I want to say to myself that when I don’t think I am going to be able to do something, when I don’t have faith in myself that I should just give it a try. And try and try again. And something great might happen, you never know!”

“The thing about Jasmine is that she has been steady all the way through, almost unheard of to be so consistent and so good. She is an extraordinary girl,” judge Prue Leith said of Jasmine’s triumph.

While Paul Hollywood added: “There was not one week we thought she could go this week… not once. And that’s unusual, and to win 5 Star Bakers and then win overall that’s never happened before.

“She has done an incredible job all the way through the Bake Off this year. She is a worthy winner and she is the best one we have seen for quite a while actually.”

The Great British Bake Off is available to watch on Channel 4 on catch-up.

Mekki Leeper and Kahyun Kim Break Down Matt and Serena’s Season 2 Relationship Status (Exclusive)

by jummy84 November 4, 2025
written by jummy84

What To Know

  • St. Denis Medical stars Mekki Leeper, Kahyun Kim, and Wendi McLendon-Covey break down the Season 2 premiere.
  • Leeper and Kim discuss the latest development in the relationship between their characters, Matt and Serena.
  • McLendon-Covey discusses Joyce’s progress with the hospital’s birthing unit.

[Warning: The below contains MAJOR spoilers for the St. Denis Medical Season 2 Episodes 1 & 2, “Aloha, Everyone” &”Mama Bear Activated.”]

St. Denis Medical is back, and there’s been a major development on the Matt (Mekki Leeper) and Serena (Kahyun Kim) relationship front, as Season 2 kicked off with the episode “Aloha, Everyone.”

In the installment, viewers discover that while Serena requested to be stationed in a different zone from Matt, after learning he’d had a crush on her, she was shocked to discover he’d asked the same thing. In their time spent apart within the hospital, it also seems as though Matt’s gotten over his crush, which gives Serena a lot to think about.

“They just met in Season 1, so there’s plenty of time for them to learn about each other without Matt being in crush mode,” Leeper tells TV Insider about the revelation. “Also, he has kind of bigger fish to fry, like learning how to do his job.” When Serena learns about Matt’s request from Alex (Allison Tolman), she attempts to get him to admit he put in the request and is notably offended.

Justin Lubin / NBC

But is the offense more about his seemingly disappeared crush or him lying about getting some space? “Well, I don’t think she deals well with it. Nobody likes somebody not liking them back,” Kim tells TV Insider.

“There’s a lot of ups and downs, a lot of give and take,” she teases of their Season 2 dynamic. “And it’s very exciting. When I read the scripts with Matt and Serena, it makes me, like a fan, kind of [get] butterflies. So, I’m sure the audience will feel the same way,” Kim adds.

Ultimately, the duo agreed that they were friends and promised they wouldn’t force themselves to work in different zones going forward, but the door appears to be open regarding romantic potential. Meanwhile, Joyce (Wendi McLendon-Covey) was busy putting some unique touches on her birth center at the hospital, built with the funding she received last season.

“Not to say that this is all gonna go smoothly or that she got all the permits that she needed or that all the construction was done right, but she did put a lot of effort into those themed rooms,” McLendon-Covey notes.  While her vision may not be the final outcome for the hospital, she has the support of her staff, who rally in the face of emergencies, both medical and non-medical.

What will happen next? Stay tuned as St. Denis Medical Season 2 carries on, and let us know whether you’re rooting for Matt and Serena or not in the comments section below.

Netflix’s First ‘Sesame Street’ Season: Watch the Trailer

by jummy84 November 3, 2025
written by jummy84

Netflix is for the children!

On Monday, the streaming giant revealed the trailer for its first Sesame Street season — the 56th season overall of the iconic preschool series — which premieres in exactly one week. Netflix promises its version will have an all-new playability, as well as more comedy.

Netflix will release Sesame Street episodes four at a time over three separate premiere periods — think Stranger Things season five, just with much furrier monsters. The first feature guest appearance on season 56 is NASCAR champion Bubba Wallace, whom parents might remember from this incident.

“Season 56 reimagines Sesame Street, inviting children into the action and bringing them hand-in-hand through high-stakes stories, powerful learning moments and laugh-out-loud surprises,” Sal Perez, Sesame Street executive producer, said in a statement. “As always, Sesame Street’s curriculum is designed to meet children’s most pressing needs — so our focus this season is on kindness and compassion, something we can all use more of today.”

Sesame Street episodes on Netflix will remain 30-minutes long; until 2016, they were an hour.

The show’s new head writer is Halcyon Person, who served the same role on Netflix’s Karma’s World (2021), the animated show from rapper Ludacris starring his daughter, and Dee & Friends in Oz (2024). Netflix’s Sesame Street will be available in 30-plus languages.

Sesame Street first launched on Nov. 10, 1969, exactly 56 years prior to its Netflix era (the seasons align to the years). The new Sesame Street episodes will simultaneously premiere on the PBS Kids app.

Watch the trailer, below:

These changes have been in the works for a while. More than two years ago, Steve Youngwood, the CEO of Sesame Workshop, walked The Hollywood Reporter through the new vision for the old show.

The single-largest change will see the program drop the “magazine”-style format it has long used in favor of two longer, more narrative-driven segments, which will be paired with a new animated series, Tales From 123. The new format will feature two 11-minute story segments, with the new animated series sandwiched in between them. Read more here.

Peacock has dropped the official trailer for “Bel-Air” Season 4, which is also the show’s final season.

In the trailer, Will (Jabari Banks) and Carlton (Olly Sholotan) prepare for life after high school, while it is confirmed that Aunt Viv (Cassandra Freeman) is pregnant, which was hinted at in the end of the show’s third season. The trailer also confirms that Snoop Dogg is set for a cameo in Season 4.

Watch the full trailer below.

The fourth season of “Bel-Air” will debut on Nov. 24 with its first three episodes. New episodes will drop weekly on Mondays with two episodes on December 1 and three episodes on December 8. It was reported that the show would be ending with Season 4 back in December 2024. The official description for Season 4 states:

“Will tries to balance the fun and excitement of senior year with the expectations that have brought him to this moment. Carlton tests his own resolve as he deals with the fallout of some very big decisions that could threaten his future. Together, both boys will help each other through this pivotal time in their lives. An unexpected power shift will threaten the brotherhood between Phil and Geoffrey, whose loyalties to the Banks family will be tested. Viv struggles with reinventing herself as she looks at motherhood from a different perspective. It’s Ashley’s freshman year in high school and she’s working through a rebellious phase but quickly learns that the status quo may no longer serve her. Hilary goes on a journey of self-exploration.”

The cast of the show includes Banks as Will, Adrian Holmes as Phillip Banks, Freeman as Vivian Banks, Sholotan as Carlton Banks, Coco Jones as Hilary Banks, Akira Akbar as Ashley Banks, Jimmy Akingbola Geoffrey, Jordan L. Jones as Jazz, and Simone Joy Jones as Lisa. Coco Jones, Akbar, Jordan L. Jones, and Joy Jones are recurring guest stars.

The series is inspired by a viral video created by Morgan Cooper that reimagined the sitcom “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” as a drama series.

Carla Banks Waddles serves as writer, showrunner, and executive producer on the series. Cooper is also an executive producer and director on the series. Will Smith, Terence Carter, James Lassiter, Miguel Melendez, Benny Medina, Quincy Jones, and Andy & Susan Borowitz all serve as executive producers. David Boorstein, Des Moran, Shukree Tilghman, Felicia Pride are co-executive producers, with Nick Copus, Keesha Sharp, and Tina Mabry directing multiple episodes alongside Cooper. The series is produced by Universal Television and Westbrook Studios, a division of Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith’s media company Westbrook Inc.

First Copy Season 2: Munawar Faruqui’s Dialogues That Left Everyone Speechless | Glamsham.com

by jummy84 November 3, 2025
written by jummy84

The official trailer of Season 2 of First Copy has been unveiled, and the wait for the crime drama to resume on Amazon MX Player finally ends this November 5, 2025. After the resounding success of its inaugural season, the series plunges deep into the dark underbelly of film piracy in Mumbai during the early 2000s, intelligently intermingling ambition, betrayal, and power.

The trailer has an intense, gritty tone, with Munawar Faruqui’s character, Arif, trying to survive this chaotic world of pirated film networks. Opening shots juxtapose his slick confidence against moments of despair as this is a man caught between ambition and morality. It captures the raw mechanical functions of the piracy business: stacks of CDs, humming computers, underground operations; it brings authenticity to the setting.

Glimpses of Arif’s love interest, Ashi Singh, and Krystle D’Souza’s Mona, whose troubled dynamic with Arif provides emotional depth, make appearances throughout. In the trailer, there are shots of police interrogations led by Meiyang Chang, high-speed pursuits, and violent confrontations-apparent signs of higher stakes and fractured loyalties. Partially set on glamorous international locations, the story insinuates that Arif’s empire has grown beyond borders.

The new season picks up with Arif at a crossroads, aiming to restore his glory after having fallen from grace. Faruqui shared that Season 2 is more about the self-discovery of Arif rather than the tussle of power, and D’Souza mentioned how ambition strains relationships.

Returning cast includes Gulshan Grover, Saqib Ayub, Singh, Chang, Inam Ul Haq, and Raza Murad, while Nawab Shah joins the cast. According to Series Director Farhan P. Zamma, Season 2 reflects the cultural pulse of early 2000s Mumbai with bigger characters, higher stakes, and a powerful reflection on how unchecked ambition can lead to a downfall.

First Copy Season 2 will be streaming from November 5, 2025, only on Amazon MX Player.
