Who Was Voted out on ‘Survivor’? Season 49 Eliminations Revealed

by jummy84 November 13, 2025
written by jummy84

[Warning: The following contains MAJOR spoilers for Survivor Season 49.]

Only nine players remain in Survivor 49 after Episode 8 aired on Wednesday, November 12, on CBS. There are now two members of the jury, and two players have broken out as the clear people to beat this season.

Survivor 49 Episode 8 featured a new advantage that gave the player who won the immunity challenge a lot of power at Tribal Council. The 10 players were divided into two groups of five for an endurance challenge. The winning team was determined by one player, and that player received the new advantage.

Savannah Louie ended up winning for her team, beating Sophie Segreti, who’s proving herself to be a challenge beast this season. Savannah’s advantage was delivered at tree mail, where she received the individual immunity necklace and was promptly taken to the beach, where the losing team was preparing for Tribal Council. Her closest ally, Rizo Velovic, was on the chopping block in those talks, but Savannah’s arrival turned the tide. This was a huge win for the alliance after one of their allies was eliminated in a blindside vote the week before.

Here, we’re compiling every Survivor 49 elimination so far, along with our episode recaps and exit interviews. Scroll down to find out who was voted out during this week’s episode, and keep checking back each week to see more results.

Hyun Bin’s ‘Made in Korea’ Renewed for Season 2 at Disney+

by jummy84 November 13, 2025
written by jummy84

Disney+ has greenlit a second season of Korean crime series “Made in Korea” before the first season’s premiere, with production already underway on the follow-up.

The renewal was revealed during a panel with stars Hyun Bin, Jung Woosung and Woo Dohwan, alongside director Woo Minho, at the Disney+ originals preview at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort on Thursday. The streamer also confirmed that Season 1 will launch Dec. 24.

Set in 1970s Korea, the crime noir follows Baek Kitae, a KCIA agent leading a double life as a smuggler. The ambitious operative uses his illicit activities to climb the agency’s ranks while protecting his brother and amassing wealth. His ascent hits a roadblock when he faces off against an incorruptible prosecutor, setting up a high-stakes battle between the two men.

Hyun Bin (“Crash Landing on You,” “Confidential Assignment”) stars as agent Baek Kitae, with Jung Woosung (“12.12: The Day,” “Hunt”) playing prosecutor Jang Geonyoung and Woo Dohwan (“Bloodhounds,” “Mr. Plankton”) as Kitae’s brother Baek Kihyun.

The series is written by Park Eunkyo (“Sea of Tranquility,” “Mother”) and Park Joonseok (“A Normal Family”), with Woo Minho (“The Man Standing Next,” “Inside Men”) directing. Hive Media Corp (“Inside Men,” “The Man Standing Next,” “12.12: The Day”) produces.

“Made in Korea” will debut with a two-episode premiere on Dec. 24, followed by episodes three and four on Dec. 31. Episode five drops Jan. 7, with the finale arriving Jan. 14. Season 2 is slated for late 2026.

The announcement came during Disney+‘s showcase of its upcoming Japanese, Korean and global content slate through 2026 and beyond, highlighting the company’s investment in international original programming for the platform.

‘Made In Korea’ Renewed For Second Season At Disney+, Release Date For S1 Unveiled

by jummy84 November 13, 2025
written by jummy84

Disney+ has renewed Korean crime series Made In Korea for a second season, with Season 1 debuting on the platform on December 24 this year.

Season 1 stars Hyun Bin (Crash Landing On You, Confidential Assignment), Jung Woosung (12.12: The Day, Hunt) and Woo Dohwan (My Puppy, Bloodhounds), who all appeared on stage at Disney’s APAC Showcase in Hong Kong.

Director Woo Min-ho reunites with Hyun Bin, who previously starred in Woo’s historical film Harbin.

Production has already begun on Season 2, which will premiere in late-2026.

Set in 1970s Korea, the first season of Made In Korea follows Baek Kitae (played by Hyun Bin), an ambitious KCIA agent who is living a double life.

Driven by his thirst for power, Kitae works as an agent by day and a smuggler by night. Suave, cunning and capable, Kitae rapidly moves up the ranks after using his smuggling operation to consolidate power, protect his brother (played by Woo) and generate vast sums of money for the agency.

Seemingly unstoppable, only one person stands in his way — a tenacious prosecutor, Jang Geon-young (played by Jung) who can’t be bought or bribed. With everything at stake for both men, the series will follow the duo as they look to take each other down.

Made in Korea is written by Park Eunkyo (Sea of Tranquility, Mother) and Park Joonseok (A Normal Family).

The series is produced by Hive Media Corp, with two episodes set to premiere on December 24.

Another two episodes will premiere on December 31, with one episode releasing January 7 and the finale debuting January 14.

Unrivaled, TNT Sports Add Fourth Night of Games for 2026 Season

by jummy84 November 12, 2025
written by jummy84

Women’s basketball league Unrivaled is expanding in its second season — both in its number of teams and its TV footprint.

The 3-on-3 league, co-founded by WNBA stars Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart, is adding a fourth night of games on TNT Sports for the coming season, which tips off Jan. 5. The league is also expanding to eight teams, up from six for its inaugural season earlier this year.

Games will air on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday throughout the eight-week season; TNT, TruTV and HBO Max will have the Friday and Monday contests, and Saturday and Sunday games will run on TruTV and HBO Max.

The additional night — last season didn’t have games on Sundays — allows Unrivaled to eliminate back-to-back games for its players. In the coming season, four teams will play on Friday and Sunday each week, and the other four will play on Saturday and Monday.

One of the things that I think our players credit us with the most is actually listening to them, and we want to keep them as healthy as humanly possible — not for not just for our league, but for the [WNBA] as well,” Unrivaled chief content officer John Learing told The Hollywood Reporter. “So when they did come to us and say that they would like us to consider ways to find some some some more [breaks in the schedule], it’s what our basketball ops team focused on probably more than anything in the offseason.”

TNT Sports’ Unrivaled telecasts will look somewhat different this season. Learing and TNT Sports executive vp and chief content officer Craig Barry told THR that the league’s purpose-built arena in Miami will feature more fans in the primary camera shots (last season, those shots were mostly of a large video wall) and bringing some more of TNT Sports’ long history televising basketball into the mix.

“We’re making a significantly larger contribution to the overall production presentation, because we want parity across all of our sports properties,” Barry told THR. “Not that it wasn’t good before — it just had room to grow and evolve.”

The changes to the arena setup are part of that, Barry noted: “The interesting thing about a small venue — especially a venue like that, where you have control of [the layout], the energy really is part of the primary driver of the presentation of the event. If you’ve been to that venue, the live energy is totally different while you’re there. The conversations that we’ve had [have focused on] the translation of that energy — we need to see it and feel it more through the screen.”

Unrivaled games averaged 221,000 viewers for TNT and TruTV simulcasts last season — a fraction of NBA or WNBA games on cable but a solid start for an entirely new league with a significantly different format (3-on-3 vs. 5-on-5) from other basketball leagues. Barry said the audience on TNT skewed about 60 percent female, significantly higher than for other women’s sports across linear TV.

“They’re finding their own audience, and they have a voice,” Barry said. “People are liking this product, and they’re going to find this league. That’s very reassuring when you’re creating something and looking for success.”

Unrivaled played all of its games in the 850-seat arena built for the league (and for TV production) last season, but it will on the road for one night in the coming season. On Jan. 30, two games (Breeze vs. Phantom and Rose vs. Lunar Owls) will take place at Philadelphia’s Xfinity Mobile Arena, home of the NBA’s 76ers. “I think it will be fascinating to see what this looks like in a giant arena,” said Learing.

He also said staying with TNT Sports for season two of Unrivaled was a “no-brainer” for the league. “We always wanted to stay. It made the most sense,” he said. “We’re a brand new league. We’re entering our second season, and I just think that we wanted to uncomplicate the search for our content as much as possible. And we already had the best partner we could imagine.”

Zendaya Allegedly Refusing To Stand Next To “Euphoria” Co-Star Sydney Sweeney For 3rd Season Press Run, Wants NO Association w/ Her ‘Racist Ad’

Zendaya appears to be drawing a line in the sand when it comes to her relationship with #SydneySweeney.

According to insiders who spoke with the Daily Mail, the actress is “refusing” to share stage space with her #Euphoria co-star during the press tour for season 3. One source explained, “It’s a difficult position for #Zendaya to be in because if she even stands next to Sydney on the red carpet, it can be read as her excusing Sydney’s views on Trump and her refusal to apologise for the racist ad.”

The tension reportedly stems from Sweeney’s involvement in a controversial #AmericanEagle jeans ad, one critics labeled a promotion of eugenics, as well as her support for #DonaldTrump. Things allegedly worsened when Sweeney doubled down on the ad in a recent #GQ interview, saying, “When I have an issue I want to speak about, people will hear.”

Chile…at this rate, the red carpet might need assigned seating.

‘Celebrity Traitors’ Renewed for Season 2 at the BBC

by jummy84 November 10, 2025
written by jummy84

It’s official: a handful of Britain’s celebrities will return to the Scottish Highlands in 2026 for a second season of The Celebrity Traitors.

The hugely popular reality show — now an international success after installments in various territories, including in the U.S., Australia, Canada, the Netherlands, Greece and India — is set to return to BBC One and BBC iPlayer next year, with Claudia Winkleman playing host.

The first season of the U.K.’s Celebrity Traitors, which wrapped Thursday with a jaw-dropping finale that saw comedian-turned-traitor Alan Carr swoop in and nab the entire prize fund for his chosen charity, has become the biggest unscripted series in the U.K. since 2021. The debut episode of the show is now the biggest unscripted title on TV so far this year with 14.8 million views over 28 days in Britain.

The finale also broke records, according to the BBC, averaging 11.1 million viewers with a peak of 12 million, making it the biggest overnight audience in the market since the BBC’s own record-breaking Gavin & Stacey viewing on Dec. 25 last year, and biggest overnight share (81 percent) since the European Championships of soccer. The final episode had 1.9 million live requests on BBC iPlayer, which makes it the highest live-viewing number for any entertainment episode of all time on iPlayer.

Among some of the more high-profile names on the first season were actor-presenter Stephen Fry, Bridget Jones star Celia Imrie, singer-songwriter Paloma Faith, Olympian Tom Daley, chat show host Jonathan Ross and Ted Lasso‘s Nick Mohammed.

Along with series two of The Celebrity Traitors, podcast agency Platform Media will produce new episodes of companion show The Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked, available via BBC Sounds, BBC Two and iPlayer, the BBC said.

The announcement of series two coincides with the publication of a new report that reveals the entire Traitors franchise has generated an estimated 21.8 million pound boost for Scotland’s economy since 2022.

Head of entertainment at the BBC Kalpna Patel-Knight said: “Studio Lambert have done an outstanding job as The Celebrity Traitors has well and truly captivated the nation, becoming a bona fide highlight of the year bringing record numbers of people together to enjoy every twist and turn.”

“In 2026 the doors of the castle will be opened again to welcome celebrity players to the game to see who can charm, who can scheme and ultimately who can survive in series two, which promises to be just as unmissable as the first,” she added.

Stranger Things Season 5: Here’s Everything We Know About the Epic Finale

by jummy84 November 10, 2025
written by jummy84

Stranger Things season 5 is finally upon us—but now we’re not sure we’re ready to say goodbye.

In the summer of 2016, out of seemingly nowhere, everyone was talking about Netflix’s 1980s-set sci-fi series Stranger Things. Fast-forward a few months later and it was a pop culture phenomenon: Everyone watched it, it seemed like three out of five people at every Halloween party was dressed up as a Stranger Things character, and we’ll never look at Eggo waffles the same! Now, years later, the saga is about to come to a close with the fifth and final season. (At least, until we get a spinoff, of course.)

In an open letter to fans shared with the press all the way back in 2023, Stranger Things co-creators Matt and Ross Duffer said the Stranger Things saga needed to be told over the course of five seasons. “Seven years ago, we planned out the complete story arc for Stranger Things,” they added. “At the time, we predicted the story would last four to five seasons. It proved too large to tell in four but—as you’ll see for yourselves—we are now hurtling toward our finale.”

Now, we’re about to see breakout stars Millie Bobby Brown and Finn Wolfhard, as well as longtime icon Winona Ryder grace our screens as their Stranger Things characters for the very last time. Here’s everything we know about Stranger Things season five.

When does Stranger Things season 5 premiere?

In May 2025, Netflix announced the final season will be released in three parts during over the course of the holiday season. Here are the dates you need to put on your calendar—though they’re definitely already marked for other occasions:

Nobody Wants This Team on Noah’s Evolution, Adam Brody’s Season 3 Hope

by jummy84 November 9, 2025
written by jummy84

Nobody Wants This season two has now been out in the world for two weeks, marking just enough time for the cast and creators to get back together and break it all down.

That’s exactly what happened on Friday afternoon, as Kristen Bell, Adam Brody, Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons and Jackie Tohn joined creator Erin Foster, co-showrunners Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan and music supervisor Manish Raval for a FYC event in L.A., as they dove into the newly released season. The show follows the unlikely relationship between agnostic podcaster Joanne (Bell) and rabbi Noah (Brody), as Foster revealed her specific intentions with Brody’s character this time around.

“Noah was such a green flag all of season one, but I do think that something we talked about in season two is — not to take it too seriously, but — you do have a bit of a responsibility when you’re making a romantic comedy in how you represent what relationships should be like. And there was something that sort of didn’t sit right with me that Noah came across like this perfect guy, because that isn’t realistic,” Foster explained, then quickly making an exception for her own husband and Brody himself.

She continued, “It was something that we talked about that was definitely important to me, to show Noah as an imperfect boyfriend, or just because he’s perfect for Joanne doesn’t mean he was perfect for the women who came before her. Sometimes the person you fall for that’s great with you wasn’t great for someone else; that’s how relationships work and I did want to show him in that light.”

The conversation also touched on bringing in Lupe’s former Succession co-star Arian Moayed as her love interest — which the actress credited Konner with coming up with as “I kind of thought Succession was off the table, like I thought we can’t have a crossover” — and about highlighting Los Angeles in the show. Foster explained shooting in L.A. actually came about as part of Bell agreeing to star, as she told the team her kids are in school and she wasn’t going to work in another city. “We’re like, ‘Oh no, we have to work from home,’” Foster joked, with Konner adding, “By the way, I hope that you inspire other actors to do that,” in using their leverage to keep production local.

The group went on to gush about Brody’s wife Leighton Meester guest starring this season, and Brody revealed some of his hopes for season three while speaking about his close relationship with Simons, who plays his brother Sasha.

“I’ve been a fan for a long time, but we’ve had the best time together,” Brody said. “When I saw the second season, I called Erin and I said, ‘I really liked it and I have just a few thoughts for maybe season three I want to whisper in your ear.’ I don’t know if they’re gonna be manifested or not, but I was like, ‘No. 1, could I have more scenes with Tim?’”

Foster teased, “And we said no,” before revealing that Bell and Brody didn’t do a chemistry read with each other, but did with the actors auditioning to play their siblings. “When it came down to who was going to play Sasha, there were a couple other people, I’m sorry Tim, that we also liked. And we were like, ‘This is hard to choose, there’s great people,’” Foster said. “I remember I said to Adam, ‘Who do you feel the most like you would be best friends with?’ I said, ‘The most important thing to me is who do you feel the most relaxing conversation, like back and forth with?’ And he was like, ‘Hands down, Tim.’” Simons didn’t know Brody has endorsed him in that way, leading Tohn to exclaim, “That’s cute as shit!”

Nobody Wants This season two is now streaming on Netflix.
