Haiwaan’s Final Schedule Has Begun! Akshay Kumar Shares Exciting Update | Glamsham.com

written by jummy84

Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan are set to feature together in Haiwaan, a Hindi thriller produced by Priyadarshan. The film is in its final shooting schedule, and Akshay has shared his first look for the movie, creating buzz among fans and viewers.

Instagram posting, Akshay posted a rapid clip of his gritty and intense character, revealing that he is playing a negative role for the first time in 18 years. He captioned it, “Last schedule of #Haiwaan… what a journey it’s been. This character has pushed, shaped, and surprised me in so many ways. Forever grateful to Priyan Sir. And Saif, thank you for the laughter, ease, and those effortless moments on screen.”

The movie boasts the presence of Saiyami Kher, Shreya Pilgaonkar, Samuthirakani, Einar Haraldsson, and Asrani in key roles. Thespian Films and KVN Productions will produce the movie. Haiwaan is slated to hit theaters in 2026.

In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, director Priyadarshan claimed that Malayalam superstar Mohanlal will make a special cameo in the film. Although he refrained from revealing Mohanlal’s role, he reiterated his story-first concept by saying, “I never start a film in terms of stars. The script first, then the actor. If I waited for blockbuster stars to come together before deciding to have a story, I’d never find the ideal film.”

Haiwaan is reported to be inspired by Mohanlal’s blockbuster 2016 Malayalam thriller Oppam, which was acclaimed for its suspenseful script and psychological depth. With Akshay in the dark avtaar and Saif returning to work under Priyadarshan, Haiwaan is the most anticipated thriller of 2026, promising a thrilling cinematic experience.

The Shanghai Open 2025 brings together the best men’s tennis has to offer in the year’s penultimate ATP 1000 Masters tournament.

Jannik Sinner returns to defend his 2024 crown, having beaten Novak Djokovic in the final, and will face the Serb in the semi-finals if both can make it that far.

New 'SNL' schedule features Sabrina Carpenter as both musical guest and host

New ‘SNL’ schedule features Sabrina Carpenter as both musical guest and host

by jummy84 September 18, 2025
written by jummy84

Sabrina Carpenter will pull double duty as both host and musical guest when Saturday Night Live returns next month.

Off the back of her new album ‘Man’s Best Friend’, the pop star will appear on the third episode of the iconic show’s 51st season on October 18. It will be the first time she has hosted but she was previously a musical guest on season 49. She was also part of the show’s 50th anniversary celebrations back in February, at one point appearing in a sketch where she sang an off-key version of ‘Espresso’.

The season 51 premiere has Bad Bunny booked to host on October 4, while Doja Cat will be making her SNL debut as musical guest. SNL alumna Amy Poehler will return to host on October 11, with Role Model as the musical guest.

— Saturday Night Live – SNL (@nbcsnl) September 18, 2025

Carpenter has also been announced as one of the headliners of next year’s Coachella alongside Justin Bieber and Karol G. After days of speculation, she was confirmed to be closing out the Friday night of both weekends at the desert music festival.

Coachella 2026 will take place between April 10 and 12, and again on April 17 to 19. As for tickets, you’ll be able to get yours here.

‘Man’s Best Friend’ scored a four-star review from NME, with Nick Levine writing: “Musically, this album isn’t markedly different from its predecessor, though it has a few more country-leaning cuts sprinkled among the daytime disco and featherlight funk.

“It also sticks to Carpenter’s winning formula of pairing sticky melodies with pithy lyrics about the flaws and allure of inadequate males. If there were a Bechdel Test for pop albums, ‘Man’s Best Friend’ wouldn’t be in danger of passing it.”

Meanwhile, Carpenter recently joked that her label “really didn’t give a fuck” about her after learning there were only 200 copies of her debut album made for vinyl.

Every fall, the alumni of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) make the trek to their respective alma maters to relish in their glory days. The week-long festivities often continue decades-old traditions, empower fundraising efforts, and celebrate the legacy of campuses big and small. Classics, significant matchups that exist outside of homecomings, are also a space to uplift the institutions through sport and community.

With growing eyes at programs such as Norfolk State University, as former NFL player Michael Vick enters his first season as head coach, or recent interest in Tuskegee University garnered by Love Island breakout star Olandria Carthan, HBCUs have spawned conversations on and off the field ahead of the season.

Still, the fact remains that with or without celebrity attention, HBCUs matter, and homecomings and classics are proof. So, start hydrating for undergrad-inspired partying, reconnecting with former classmates, and dusting off that school-spirited gear.

Read below for a schedule of HBCU classic football matchups and homecoming celebrations.
