Is today Black Friday? Full list of UK retailers’ 2025 sales dates

by jummy84 November 14, 2025
written by jummy84

Did you feel that cool breeze? That’s the chill of a sales window that’s been opened, because Black Friday is back.

The official date for this year’s Black Friday is 28th November, but even now we’re seeing deals spilling out from UK’s biggest retailers, like Currys, Boots, Very and more.

Each year this period brings thousands of savings across every product type you can imagine, this year, we’re already loving products like the Boots Showstopper Beauty Box and 44% off OurPlace pans.

But while this sounds like a dream come true, we know all too well how overwhelming and, frankly, annoying this time can be, with companies pestering you non-stop with their so-called savings.

According to YouGov, 35 per cent of Brits said they were less interested in this year’s Black Friday sale, and 63 per cent of those said that was because the ‘discounts were misleading’. Meanwhile, a study conducted by Currys revealed that 66 per cent feel it’s a straight-up ‘con’.

So, that’s what the RadioTimes.com team are here for, to help you navigate the sea of deals and decide when and how to spend your money. Throughout the sale, we’ll be picking out the best discounts and comparing prices across multiple retailers to ensure you’re paying the best price possible.

We’ll always tell you what the original RRP was and how much you’re saving and, most importantly of all, we’ll be completely honest with you if we believe a product isn’t worth your hard-earned cash.

So, without further ado, here’s everything you need to know about this year’s Black Friday sale, including when it is, when it ends and how to spot a genuine bargain.

  • Amazon – Amazon has announced their ‘Black Friday Week’ will start at midnight on 20th November until 1st December.
  • Apple – Apple will wait for the official Friday 28th November to launch their sales, but don’t expect much from their own site apart from a few voucher codes and loyalty rewards schemes, the best deals for Apple products can be found on third party sites,
  • Coach – No date confirmed from Coach yet, but last year saw sizeable savings on bags and accessories.
  • Flannels – Flannels are waiting until Friday 28th November to get started.
  • Gymshark – Gymshark will offer 50% off everything from Monday 16th November at 4PM GMT.
  • Nike – Nike has launched some initial Black Friday deals, but we’re expecting more to roll out next week.
  • Oura Ring – No date announced yet for the Oura Ring 4.
  • Pandora – Pandora’s Black Friday week will start on 23rd November, but bear in mind the brand tends to change its deals throughout the week.
  • PlayStation – Last year’s Black Friday sale started on ‘Fake Black Friday’ which would make this year’s the 21st.
  • reMarkable – We’re hoping for big savings on digital notebooks like the reMarkable 2.
  • UGG – UGG’s Black Friday sale has no date yet, but you can sign up for early updates.
  • Uniqlo – Uniqlo normally run their sale in the week before Black Friday (so between the 17th and 21st).
  • White Company – The White Company normally start their Black Friday sales in the week before (so between the 17th and 21st).

Which UK retailers don’t do Black Friday sales?

Here’s a list of retailers who aren’t likely to participate in Black Friday 2025, and what you might be able to expect from them instead:

  • Adanola – Adanola announced in 2023 they would not participate in Black Friday sales, however they are currently running a 10% off deal for new customers.
  • ASKET – The Swedish fashion retailer steers well clear of Black Friday; in fact, customers are unable to purchase online on 28th November. Instead, they’ll be offering free repairs in store.
  • Kotn – Kotn is a sustainable clothing and home décor brand that donate 100% of their sales during the Black Friday weekend to charity. This way, you’ll look good and feel good!
  • Lush – As an ecologically focused company, Lush do not take part in Black Friday. However, you can filter your searches by budget to help save, and they even offer subscription services.
  • Marks and Spencer – Marks and Spencer have not participated in Black Friday sales, but they do tend to hold their own November sales.
  • Next – Next have not taken part in Black Friday since 2020, but they operate a sizeable year-round clearance section on site.
  • Osprey – The travel backpack company eschew Black Friday in favour of Green Friday, which donates to charities including the European Outdoor Conservation Association during the Black Friday period.

When do Black Friday 2025 sales end?

The Black Friday period will officially end on Monday 1st December to make way for the Cyber Monday sales.

In reality though, the whole Black Friday/Cyber Monday period now blends into one mammoth sale, with most of the deals spilling over even into December.

Our advice would always be to snap up a good deal if you see one, but be aware the other deals may pop up as the sale goes on.

What date is Cyber Monday?

Cyber Monday takes place the following Monday, so 1st December 2025.

How to spot a genuine deal in Black Friday 2025

Remarkable 2 smart notebook

Just because something has a bright red label on it, or a big flashy percentage, doesn’t mean it’s a genuine saving. Luckily for you, we’ve been dealing with Black Fridays since the dawn of time, so we’ve got all the best tips and tricks for how to spot a real bargain.

Create a wish list and stick to it

In other words, only buy the things you need. It’s so exciting seeing all the different deals popping up, but try not to get sucked into panic buying something you don’t really want and will never use. There will be other sales throughout the year like Boxing Day, so use this time to buy the essentials or Christmas presents.

Sign up for notifications

As we’ve said, prices and savings will fluctuate across Black Friday, so it helps if you can have notifications or newsletters set up to monitor them. For instance, if you have an Amazon wishlist, you can sync it up to any Alexa enabled device, which will notify you when a deal is available.

Always check the RRP

So many retailers are guilty of spotlighting a deal and throwing out percentages that aren’t accurate. So we’d always recommend checking the RRP first. Personally, we use CamelCamelCamel to track the changing price of products (particularly on Amazon) which means we can genuinely find out if something is at its lowest price.

Shop around other retailers

We know how overwhelming it is when so many different retailers are taking part, so you may be tempted to stick to an Amazon or Argos. But it’s always best to shop around and see what you can get elsewhere as some retailers add on cashback schemes, extra perks or free shipping.

Check out older models

It’s always nice when the newest model of a phone or tablet is discounted, but after a long time of working on tech content, we’ve realised that there’s not always a big difference between the different generations of phones and devices.

Check out the iPhone 17 Pro Max stock update, and find more deals in the Technology section. Plus, will the Nintendo Switch 2 get a Black Friday discount and will the PS5 Pro go on sale this Black Friday.

Richemont Sales Surge Against the Odds

Richemont Sales Surge Against the Odds

by jummy84 November 14, 2025
written by jummy84

By geography, Richemont sales in the Americas were up 20% in Q2, Europe was up 11%, Asia-Pacific increased by 10%, Japan rose by 10%, while the Middle East and Africa was up 22%.

“ You will recall a few years ago when there was general hopefulness that China would recover quickly, I noted caution, so the share price dropped — but it’s proven to be correct now. We believe that the Chinese clientele are becoming more selective and it may remain so even upon a full recovery, which we are happy about,” Richemont chair Johann Rupert told reporters.

The company noted a return to growth in China, Hong Kong and Macau in the second quarter, led by the jewelry maisons, but Rupert remains cautious: “The downtrend has changed, so we are seeing some early signs. But I wouldn’t say that they are green shoots of recovery.”

Bos noted a shift from the YOLO (you only live once) to the YONO (you only need one) mentality. “ It’s an anecdote that’s part of the conversation in Korea and China, but I think it applies to a lot of countries. YOLO was referring to the idea of instant gratification. And it has evolved toward what they call the YONO, which is in a way that they still buy, but they buy with a much more discerning eye,” he explained. “[For YONO buyers,] the interesting quality of the product, the investment or the long-lasting value really play a role. This is something that we truly see particularly for jewelry. The clientele — which is very demanding and very discerning — understands the long-term quality and value of our collections. It has been really a driving force these past few years behind the success of Richemont.”

The 39% tariffs imposed by the US on Swiss imports since August have been a blow to the Swiss watch industry. Asked for an update about the negotiations, Rupert said: “We did not negotiate in the White House. You negotiate if you have aircraft carriers, when you buy millions of tons of soybeans, that’s called negotiations. I think you’ve got to wait for the Swiss representation. They’ve been there this week. We believe that they’re doing a very good job, but we are merely businesspeople and we did not negotiate, we didn’t have a mandate to negotiate. That’s the Swiss government’s job, but I think there are signs that the misunderstanding has been cleared up.”

As a former Anthropologie employee, I know my way around the brand—which clothes are worth your time, which gifts are most popular, and, most important, how to save the most money on your purchase. The retailer isn’t stingy, and there’s usually a limited-time sale going on, plus a perennially well-stocked sale section. But the way to make the absolute most of your money is, without a doubt, via the best Anthropologie Black Friday sales. And luckily enough for all of us, a smaller version of its Cyber Week deal from last year is currently running through the weekend, bringing an additional 50% off all sale items. (Hop to it with my selects below.)

While no official sale has been announced for 2025—Black Friday falls on November 28 this year—last year’s aforementioned discount included 50% off sale items, plus 30% off nearly everything else. (That’s better than the employee discount, by the way, and most of Anthro’s sale-on-sale events top out at 40% off.) It’s been possible to snag winter capsule wardrobe essentials like sweater dresses and flared jeans for less than $30, and I’ve seen beloved brands like Reformation and Farm Rio in the mix. To help you get a head start, I pulled together the pre-Black Friday deals to know now. I’ll be updating this edit as the big day gets closer, so keep checking back for the crème de la crème of the 2025 deals.

Best early Anthropologie Black Friday clothing sales

While you’ll only find a few wintry styles in Anthro’s current sale section, so many year-round staples are currently as much as 70% off their original prices. Chic button-downs, babydoll tops, and boho denim fit right in with fall and winter’s biggest trends, so stock up while they’re on supersale—I promise they won’t last until the actual Black Friday event.

Chic loafers, silk scarves, Mary Jane ballet flats, tennis necklaces—so many of the season’s must-have pieces are somehow already discounted at Anthropologie. And a ton of them are available in animal print, winter’s biggest pattern trend. Style these with a flowy dress, a winter coat, and sheer knee socks for a low-effort, high-impact cold-weather outfit.

Best early Anthropologie Black Friday home sales

While Anthropologie’s clothes rightfully get a lot of attention, no trip (virtual or otherwise) is complete without at least paying a visit to its beloved selection of housewares. The current sale lineup practically screams “holiday,” with berry-colored velvet pillows, festive candles, and self-improvement journals up for grabs starting at 62% off. And yes, you can now snag a $40 mug for just $7—so go ahead and buy a whole set to get ahead of gifting.

Tapestry Raises Outlook After Sales Climb 12% in Q1

by jummy84 November 6, 2025
written by jummy84

Tapestry — the parent company of Coach and Kate Spade — said sales grew 12% year-on-year on a constant currency basis to $1.7 billion in the first quarter of 2026, ending 27 September 2025. The growth was driven by Coach, which continues to perform well among Gen Z consumers.

Tapestry completed the sale of Stuart Weitzman in August and therefore also reported performance excluding the footwear brand. Without Stuart Weitzman, sales grew 16% to $1.69 billion.

Gross profit increased 15% while gross margin increased from 75.3% to 76.3%. The positive impact of the Stuart Weitzman sale was partially offset by the negative impact of tariffs and currency headwinds, the company said.

The company increased its full-year outlook. It now expects revenue to reach around $7.3 billion compared to its prior $7.2 billion guidance, representing 4 to 5% growth on a reported basis (excluding Stuart Weitzman, revenue is expected to rise 7% to 8%).

“Our first quarter marked a powerful start to our next chapter of growth,” CEO Joanne Crevoiserat said on the earnings call. “This outperformance positioned us to increase our outlook for the year, reinforcing that our advantages are structural and sustainable.”

In September, Tapestry introduced its new strategy for growth, Amplify, which aims to build emotional connection with customers; fuel fashion innovation and product excellence; deliver compelling experiences to drive global growth; and ignite the power of its people, developing a “customer-obsessed” internal culture.

Tapestry acquired 2.2 million new customers this quarter, with Gen Z accounting for 35% of them. “Our new and younger customers are transacting at a higher AUR and have a higher retention rate than the balance of our client base. They are also influencing all generations as we achieve growth and acquisition and retention among both Gen Z and non-Gen Z cohorts, a clear signal of our growing brand resonance and reach,” said Crevoiserat.

At Coach, sales grew 21% to $1.43 billion, driven by strong leather goods acceleration in addition to bag charms and straps, which customers are drawn to for the opportunity to customise their bags, Crevoiserat noted. Average unit retail (AUR) increased by a mid-teens percentage. This quarter, Coach introduced two new coffee shops in its US outlets, in Jersey Gardens in New Jersey, and Woodbury Common in New York. “These activations go beyond marketing. They’re driving longer dwell times, commercial momentum and deepening emotional connections with the brand,” said Crevoiserat. Coach allocated 11% of its budget to marketing in Q2, increasing 43% in dollar value year-on-year, which Coach CEO Todd Kahn said he sees as a future-proofing investment.

EF Ultimate Break, a group travel company for 18- to 35-year-olds, is offering deals that can save you up to $1,000. But, honestly, the best part is that the company handles all the planning, booking, and logistics — from flights and accommodations to some meals and activities — so all you have to worry about is what to pack for adventures and photo ops at Ecuador’s Galápagos, Peru’s Machu Picchu, or Costa Rica’s jungle ziplines.
