Apart from his versatile acting skills, vast filmography and real-life romance with Katrina Kaif, Bollywood heartthrob Vicky Kaushal is well-known for his love for Punjabi music. Every time he uploads a new video vibing to a Punjabi song, fans are left gushing over his swag and smooth as butter dance moves. But did you know the Punjabi music bug once bit Vicky’s wife Katrina Kaif too? Yes, you read that right. During his appearance on Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle with actor Kriti Sanon, Vicky revealed how Katrina once recorded a video singing a Punjabi song, which he was listening to on a loop back then.

Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal

In the viral clip from the episode, Vicky Kaushal shared, “Pata hai ek baar… I love Punjabi music, I listen to a lot of Punjabi music. So once we were just travelling and, this is before we got married, and there was one Punjabi song I was tripping on. Like I was loving that Punjabi song. And she also started enjoying that Punjabi song. And we had gone to Alibag, so we had driven together. On our drive back, we were just hearing that song on loop and she also started enjoying it. And then she very cutely, she made a video of singing that song in Punjabi.”

Vicky went on to recall, “She sang that song and she’s like ‘I’m going to sing this song and this, that’ and I told her ‘Listen, this is not…’ She thought it’s a romantic song. And that song had such a gangster vibe that ‘If you do this, I’m going to kill you, you don’t know that, we have this many guns with us’ and all of that kind of a song and she’s like ‘Yeh please kisi ke saamne mat gaana, yeh correct gaana nahi hai’.” Hearing this story, Kriti Sanon revealed how Katrina’s playlist for the gym changed after she met Vicky.

Kriti shared, “By the way, we used to work out in the same gym, me and Katrina. And that was when she started dating you, suddenly her playlist changed. Suddenly her playlist had Punjabi music. And I looked at her, I’m like ‘This is your playlist?’ because that was definitely not the songs that she was listening to before. So she was like ‘Yeah, I like it. I can update you’.”

How cute is that! Currently, Vicky and Katrina are busy enjoying their first week as parents to their newborn son.

Karan Johar reveals his dream cast for a modern remake of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai

by jummy84 November 13, 2025
written by jummy84

In 1998, Dharma Productions saw success when Karan Johar made his directorial debut with Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Rani Mukerji. The film achieved phenomenal blockbuster status, reviving the studio and solidifying its position in Bollywood. This success was followed by Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, and the achievements ahead are well-known.

Approximately three decades later, Karan was asked about his casting choices for the modern-day Rahul, Anjali, and Tina if Kuch Kuch Hota Hai were to be remade today. During a conversation with Sania Mirza for Myntra’s Glam Stream, Karan shared his thoughts. He said, “I think Alia would be an absolutely great Anjali. I think Ranveer Singh would be a great Rahul, and Ananya would be a great Tina.”

To this, Sania replied, “And none of them would actually be acting that much,” to which Karan responded, “I think it would be a great pairing.” Karan added, “I think Tina could be Ananya, Janhvi, Sara — it could be any of the younger nepo babies.”

Amused by the comment, Sania asked, “Have you ever launched someone because their parents told you to?” Karan firmly replied, “No. I knew their parents, but no parent ever called me and said, ‘Launch my kid.’ Never. Not once.”

When Sania noted that many people might not believe him due to his image, Karan clarified, “I know they are nepo babies. I know their parents. I’ve seen them grow up in front of me. But none of their parents have ever called me — I have always been the one to call. And let me tell you, I’ve even been refused a few times.”

Karan, however, has not directed any of the new generation of nepo babies. Ananya, Janhvi, and Sara, however, appeared briefly in his recent directorial film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani for the song Heart Throb.

Valve reveals Steam Machine console, new controller and VR headset

by jummy84 November 12, 2025
written by jummy84

Following the success of the Steam Deck, Valve has announced a plethora of new hardware: the Steam Frame VR headset with new controllers, the Steam Machine home console, and a new Steam Controller.

The new Valve hardware is coming in early 2026 and is available to wishlist on Steam.

Starting with the Steam Frame, the VR headset is more akin to VR devices such as the Meta Quest 3 and Quest 3s, in that it features an onboard SoC (system on a chip) that is capable of running its own games. The SoC is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with 16GB of RAM, and runs an ARM version of SteamOS.

The headset features two 2160×2160 LCD screens that are capable of reaching 144Hz in an experimental mode, but typically runs between 72-120Hz, which is the same as Valve’s previous VR headset, the Index.

Unlike the Index, the Steam Frame has inside-out tracking by way of four wide-FOV, meaning you won’t have to set up base stations in order to track the headset and controllers.

SteamOS now has a new translation layer known as Fex, which enables the Steam Frame to natively run x86 applications (your typical PC applications) in an ARM environment (like the chip your phone uses), meaning low-requirement games could run off the headset.

The gang’s all here. Valve

For more premium VR experiences, the Steam Frame features a Wi-Fi 6 dongle that provides a low-latency connection, meaning you can run more demanding games on a different system, such as the Steam machine, and stream it to the Steam Frame.

Two eye-trackers enable the Steam Frame to know exactly where you are looking and utilise a technology Valve is calling “foveated streaming”, which prioritises streaming quality to the exact area of the display you are looking at.

The Steam Frame also has new controllers, which will be familiar to anyone who has used Meta Quest or PSVR2 controllers.

The Steam Machine is Valve’s second attempt at a dedicated gaming console, but unlike the Steam Machines of 2015 that were made by third-party vendors such as Alienware, Valve is building and designing them in-house, much like the Steam Deck.

As for the experience that players can expect, Valve describes it as a console that is over six times more powerful than the Steam Deck.

Like the Steam Frame and Steam Deck, the console runs SteamOS, Valve’s custom Linux distribution. This means that you can swap between Gaming and Desktop mode, making the Steam Machine a PC-console hybrid, which many expect the next Xbox to be as well.

Valve describes the console as being capable of 4K 60FPS gameplay, with it using a semi-custom AMD Zen 4 CPU and semi-custom AMD RDNA3 GPU, but with the GPU only having 8GB of RAM and being equivalent in specification to the AMD Radeon RX7600, it will struggle with more modern titles.

One could stream the aforementioned demanding VR titles from the Steam Machine to the Steam Frame.

There is also a MicroSD card slot, and users can transfer them between the Steam Machine, Steam Frame and Steam Deck to

To go with the Steam Machine, there is the new Steam Controller, which can be thought of as a Steam Deck with the screen removed. It features all the same controls, including the trackpads and internal gyro, making games that are better suited to mouse controls, such as RTS’ and FPS’ more feasible.

There is a puck that acts as a dongle and magnetic charging station, and can connect via Bluetooth to a wide range of devices.

Overall, it’s a clear statement of intent from Valve that the company wants to make further inroads into the PC and console market.

With Steam recently reaching a concurrent peak of 41 million players, there will be many who are enticed by having a dedicated box that plays all their games.

Pope Leo XIV Reveals Favorite Movies Ahead of Vatican Event

by jummy84 November 11, 2025
written by jummy84

If you were hoping Pope Leo XIV was partial to movies like The Conclave or The Exorcist, sorry to disappoint. Ahead of a Hollywood gathering at the Vatican, the pontiff has revealed his four favorite films, which are all, unsurprisingly, extremely safe.

In a video posted by Variety, the pope listed 1946’s It’s a Wonderful Life starring Jimmy Stewart, 1965’s The Sound of Music featuring Julie Andrews, 1980’s Ordinary People starring Donald Sutherland and Mary Tyler Moore, and 1997’s Life Is Beautiful (La Vita è Bella) with Roberto Benigni.

Of those four films, three won Oscars, and the fourth was a nominee whose loss is considered one of the Academy’s worst snubs. The Sound of Music and Ordinary People each won Best Picture and Best Director, while Life Is Beautiful received an Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film and Best Actor for Benigni. It’s a Wonderful Life was nominated for five Oscars, including Best Picture, but lost that award to The Best Years of Our Lives in 1946.

Perhaps we’ll get a special Criterion Closet episode with deeper cuts next?

As reported by Variety, Pope Leo is set to host a Vatican event on Saturday, November 15th, which will be attended by Hollywood stars including Cate Blanchett, Chris Pine, Viggo Mortensen, Alison Brie, Dave Franco, and Monica Bellucci.

Filmmakers Spike Lee, Gus Van Sant, George Miller, and Giuseppe Tornatore are also expected to attend. The gathering was organized by the Vatican’s culture office as part of the Catholic Church’s Holy Year celebrations.

In a statement, the Vatican said the pope aims “to deepen dialogue with the World of Cinema” while “exploring the possibilities that artistic creativity offers to the mission of the Church and the promotion of human values.”

It’s a clear move to deepen ties with Hollywood compared to his predecessor. While the late Pope Francis hosted late night hosts Conan O’Brien, Stephen Colbert, and Jimmy Fallon in June 2024, Pope Leo seems to be intent on courting Hollywood A-list stars.

Pope Leo has been meeting with several movie stars as of late, including Al Pacino in June and Robert De Niro last week. Last month, he denounced clickbait during a private meeting with media members and urged companies to be proactive in addressing AI.

Manish Malhotra Reveals Why He Cast Fatima Sana Shaikh In Gustaakh Ishq

by jummy84 November 11, 2025
written by jummy84

Fatima Sana Shaikh is all set to turn her screen presence into poetry with her upcoming release, Gustaakh Ishq – Kucch Pehle Jaisa. 2025 has turned out to be Fatima’s year, and she’s making the most out of it with the upcoming old-school romantic drama. During the film’s trailer launch event held on 10th November, producer Manish Malhotra revealed that the actress was his first choice for a leading lady. He praised her previous work and stated that she’s never played the role that exuded her nazaakat the classic way.

Manish Malhotra Reveals Why He Cast Fatima Sana Shaikh In Gustaakh Ishq

Recalling an instance of deciding the film’s cast, Manish Malhotra shared, “The discussion continued, and I asked, why not Fatima? She’s very petite and beautiful. She’s always done such wonderful roles, but she’s never come as a ‘heroine’ – with the dupatta and nazaakat. So I texted her, and she was very responsive. She asked for the script, and I sent it to her at about 8o’ clock. Just when I went to sleep at about 11:30 pm, I got a message from her saying that ‘I’m doing the film’. We had a lot of discussions.”

Gustaakh Ishq rekindles the magic of poetic ishq, and the recently released trailer is just a glimpse into its old-school charm. It brings together emotions, love, shayris and balances it beautifully with the art of yearning and longing. Fatima Sana Shaikh and Vijay Varma bring the story alive with their magical chemistry, while the soothing album adds weight to the poetic plot.

About Gustaakh Ishq

Gustaakh Ishq is directed by Vibhu Puri, and it unfolds as a poignant love story of passion and unspoken desire, set amidst the bylanes of Purani Dilli and the fading kothis of Punjab. Produced by Manish Malhotra and his brother Dinesh Malhotra under Stage5 Production, the film releases in theatres on 28th November.

Shirley Henderson reveals her secrets behind her iconic roles

Shirley Henderson reveals her secrets behind her iconic roles

by jummy84 November 11, 2025
written by jummy84

This article first appeared in Radio Times magazine.

In Summerwater, adapted from Sarah Moss’s novel about the British capacity for both cruelty and compassion, Shirley Henderson plays Annie Campbell, a visitor to the lochside holiday cabins that give this tense thriller its title. Geographically, Summerwater is situated in the Highlands; psychologically, it feels a stone’s throw from The Shining’s Overlook Hotel. Henderson doesn’t want to say too much about Annie for fear of spoiling the drama, which she describes as “an investigation of relationships, of memory and of longing”, but she will say that “something’s happening, something’s changing for her, and parts of her are leaving her”.

Locked in a fraught marriage to Dougray Scott’s brittle Dr David Campbell, it may be Annie’s life that leaves her before the series’ end. In episode two, the pair take an ill-advised clifftop walk, during which the good doctor is clearly thinking bad thoughts, though Annie is breezily oblivious — or seems so. Like many of the characters Henderson has played, Annie has hinterland. When I first interviewed Henderson 21 years ago, she told me “it’s fun being messy or angry or disturbed,” and her CV is populated with such characters. But there are plenty of others, too…

‘I’d never filmed before’ – Elizabeth Findlay, Shadow of the Stone – STV (1987)

Children’s TV drama about a young girl and her 17th-century alter ego, who is accused of being a witch.

“This was my first job. I got the part after Leonard White — who was a lovely man — from Scottish Television saw me in my last play at drama school. I stayed at my auntie’s, got the bus into Glasgow, walked up to the STV studios, got changed and went to work — and then did the reverse at the end of the day. It was Monday to Friday and we always finished around five o’clock. No job has ever been as civilised. I’d never done any filming before and I didn’t know any filming techniques so Leonard, who directed it, was teaching me at the same time. The script was set, too, so you could learn your lines — and I was young, so learning lines was much easier than it is now. I remember working with a wee lizard and Alan Cumming played my boyfriend.”

‘I was shy and didn’t want to mess up’ – Isobel Sutherland, Hamish Macbeth – BBC One (1995-97)

Robert Carlyle and Shirley Henderson pictured together at the press launch of the new season of the BBC drama series Hamish Macbeth in March 1996. Larry Ellis Collection/Getty Images

Drama starring Robert Carlyle as the eponymous crime-solving PC.

“It was idyllic filming in Plockton every summer for three years, but there wasn’t a lot to do. We loved it when the wee fish and chip shop opened. We’d treat ourselves to a fish supper and gather in a caravan to listen as Ralph Riach and Brian Pettifer [who played “TV” John and Rory] told stories. “In the first series, we were filming a long shot and just before the camera got to me, the donkey I was looking after stood on my foot. It was agony! Today, I’d say, ‘Stop! The donkey’s on my foot!’ but I was shy and I didn’t want to mess it up. “I learned so much on that job. People would say they’d seen me on Hamish Macbeth. As time passes, you get recognised but I’ve never had ‘celebrity’; I don’t know what it is.”

‘I didn’t know who Harry Potter was’ – Moaning Myrtle, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002) & Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005)

The JK Rowling juggernaut that entranced a generation and made stars of its cast.

“When I was first asked for an audition, I didn’t know who Harry Potter was. But my sister, who was staying with me, had read the books. Still, I wasn’t convinced I could play a 14-year-old girl because I was in my 30s at the time. But I spoke to the casting director Karen Lindsay-Stewart and she said, ‘I haven’t told them your age’.

“So I went to the audition dressed as a schoolgirl — white shirt, black skirt, ponytail — thinking, ‘This is ridiculous’. I did my wee bit for them and they thanked me. Months went by and I thought that was it, but then they phoned my agent, asked to see me again and offered me the part.

“Myrtle is an old person in a young person’s body and because she’s ghosty, there’s a kind of mistiness. You’re not looking closely at my face so we could get away with it.”

‘In the end, you don’t think about acting, you let it happen’ – Marie Melmotte, The Way We Live Now – BBC One (2001)

Andrew Davies’s adaptation of Anthony Trollope’s novel.

“With work like this, it’s often in language which is alien. When you first put on the costumes, which confine you, you’re like, ‘I can’t do it with all this stuff on me’. But then you relax into it, your body adapts and actually releases oils that make the costume too big. So you get it taken in and think, ‘I need all this stuff’, because it’s part of the character. In the end, you don’t even think about the scene, you just do it. And then you don’t even do that, you just let the scene happen.”

‘I auditioned hunched down on the floor’ – Babu Frik, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019)

In a galaxy far, far away, it’s Empire versus Republic round two.

“It being Star Wars, they ask you if you want to audition, but don’t tell you anything else — nothing. I was like, ‘You have to give me something so I can prepare,’ and eventually they said, ‘Maybe very small, maybe very old, maybe from somewhere else’.

“So I went to the audition with [director] JJ Abrams, who is the sweetest man, and Nina Gold (who cast me in Topsy-Turvy), had a lovely chat and then I did my bit. I hunched down on the floor and did this voice I had come up with in a language I had made up. He said, ‘You’ve got the job,’ and they brought in a model of Babu Frik.

“It’s voice acting but not in the sense that you voice it later. I was there, on set, crammed into a cupboard on the floor trying to see what the puppeteers were doing with Babu’s mouth to improvise in the made-up language. An amazing job.”

‘Sometimes I wonder if I dreamt it’ – Ursula Blake, Doctor Who: Love and Monsters – BBC One (2006)

Adventures in time and space.

“When I was young, I’d either go out and play when Doctor Who was on, or hide behind the sofa. As an adult, I’d been watching David Tennant and Billie Piper, so when I was offered it — I didn’t have to audition — I jumped right in. We were forever being told to behave because Peter Kay, who I’d worked with on 24 Hour Party People, was making us laugh. Marc Warren was doing magic tricks — there was one that I still can’t get my head around, involving books. Sometimes I do wonder, ‘Did I dream it, or did it actually happen?'”

EXCLUSIVE: Saiyami Kher Shares Excitement On Ghoomer’s Theatrical Re-Release; Reveals If She’ll Host A Special Screening For Indian Women Cricket Team After Historic Win

by jummy84 November 10, 2025
written by jummy84

Actress Saiyami Kher – who made her Bollywood debuted opposite Harshvardhan Kapoor in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s 2016 romantic fantasy Mirzya, is currently on cloud 9 as her film Ghoomer has re-released in theatres. During an exclusive telephonic conversation, the actress opened up about the theatrical re-release of the R Balki sports drama co-starring Abhishek Bachchan as well the Indian women’s cricket team winning the 2025 ICC Women’s World Cup, hosting a special screening of Ghoomer for the women in blue and more. Read on to know all she shared.

Saiyami Kher On Hoisting A Screening Of Ghoomer For Indian Women Cricket Team

When asked if Ghoomer producers or she will be hosting a special screening for the Indian Women’s Cricket team given their historic win at the recently held ICC Women’s World Cup, Saiyami Kher replied, “I totally agree. And we would have loved to do it. But most of the girls have already seen the film when it was released two years ago. Because I reached out to the girls then, and most of them have already seen it. So right now, I think they should be allowed to just celebrate, soaking in what they’ve done. And of course, the ones who haven’t watched them, we’re more than happy to host even just a private screening for them. But right now, they need to just celebrate what they’ve done.”

Saiyami On Attending The Women World Cup Finals

Talking about being in the stadium when the women lifted the trophy and her first reaction to them winning, the ‘Ghoomer’ actress shared, “Yes, I was. Well, I wouldn’t miss it for anything because it’s historic, and I was very happy to be a part of the history, and I didn’t miss the men’s 2011 World Cup, which happened in Mumbai, so why should I miss the women’s World Cup, which happened at the DY Patil.”

She continued, “I was supposed to be traveling to Italy with my parents but I made sure that the semi-final, final days I come back. However, on semi-finals day, I was shooting; but I wouldn’t have missed the finals for anything. It was so very special to see this happen. I actually took my dad and went to watch the game because we both watched the 2011 world cup together so just wanted to keep that superstition going (we won that world cup in 2011 so…). And the girls lifted the trophy so…”

Saiyami Kher On Meeting The Indian Women Cricket Team

Talking about interacting with them award ceremony, Saiyami shared, “It was genuinely very special because after we won, the stadium erupted and there was Maa Tujhe Salaam playing and there was Chake De playing and like full grown men were weeping and crying and the chants were like super loud like the men’s World Cup. I went and kind of spoke to the girls down after the post-match presentation and it was just incredible to be a part and be around there when they won.”

On the professional front, Saiyami Kher – who was last seen on the big screen as SI Vijaya Lakshmi in Sunny Deol’s Jaat, is currently filming Haiwaan, scheduled to release in 2026.

Fitness trainer reveals how to train like a Victoria’s Secret model to look ‘strong and sculpted’

by jummy84 November 10, 2025
written by jummy84

Victoria’s Secret Angels, including supermodels such as Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Candice Swanepoel, Bella Hadid, and others, are renowned for their sculpted and athletic physiques. Every year, they look stronger and more sculpted as they step back on the runway. But is there a secret to them looking incredible every single time they get on the ramp?

In an Instagram video shared on October 29, Kelsey Rose, a fitness trainer, revealed how to train like a Victoria’s Secret model to look ‘strong and sculpted’. She shared that their physique is a result of dedicated and intense fitness routines, which include strength training and a nutritious diet.

The real secret behind the Victoria’s Secret angel body

According to the fitness trainer, almost every OG Victoria’s Secret Angel swears by strength training. Not to bulk up, but to sculpt lean, defined, and feminine muscle that gives them that strong, confident runway look. She claimed that the foundation of that body isn’t restriction or genetics, it’s consistency, strength, and fuelling it right.

In the video, she stitched together several clips of supermodels, including Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel, Irina Shayk, and Alessandra Ambrosio. While Candice in the video claimed that she doesn’t do a lot of cardio, rather she builds ‘a lot of muscle because she is naturally very skinny,’ Adriana said, “You have to work out every day…You have to maintain the muscles.”

As for Irina Shayk, the secret to her figure is, “Working out and food. Working out five times a week when in New York [for the VS show].” Lastly, Alessandra shared that she achieved her physique by working out at the gym and putting in a lot of effort to improve her body.

How to train like a Victoria’s Secret model?

Strength training, as per the VS models and the fitness trainer, is the non-negotiable part of every angel’s routine. Kelsey added that while everyone has been talking about Pilates lately, many have been missing out on the foundation that gives a strong, defined, and confident body: strength training.

She clarified that, although Pilates and low-impact workouts are important, it is also essential to understand the importance of strength training. Why? Because, as per the trainer, you can’t tone what you don’t build.

Moreover, nutrition should also be a big part of this routine. Because you cannot build muscle if you are undereating. “A lot of you are working out but not fuelling properly. You heard it from the angels. They are dialling in on their nutrition. You need to eat enough to gain lean muscle and to rev up your metabolism,” she added.

Jennifer Aniston’s boyfriend reveals secret for successful relationship

9 November 2025

Jennifer Aniston’s boyfriend Jim Curtis has revealed the secret to starting a successful relationship.

Jennifer Aniston’s boyfriend Jim Curtis / © Instagram

The 50-year-old transformational coach and master hypnotherapist shared a clip to his Instagram account on Saturday (08.11.25), in which he gave tips for people who fall in love with something that does not exist.

At the start of the clip, Jennifer – who went public with her relationship with him on November 2 – asks: “Hey, Jim. How do I stop falling in love with the idea of someone?”

Smiling as he explains manifestation before going into detail about why remaining in the present is important, Jim replied: “I like this question mostly because the subconscious mind doesn’t know the difference between reality and fantasy.

“So the more you that fantasise about the future that does not currently exist, the more you make it real. This is what manifestation is.

“However, in a relationship, if you’re fantasising about what marriage with kids and a house in the country looks like without paying attention to what’s happening in this present moment, then you’re falling in love with something that doesn’t exist, and you’re probably putting too much attachment on that person.

“So, how do you stop – is looking at exactly what’s happening in the here and now. Stay present and don’t move too far into the future until it happens.”

Romance rumours between Jennifer, 56, and Jim sparked when the pair vacationed together in Mallorca, Spain, during the Fourth of July weekend.

According to MailOnline, The Morning Show actress excitedly introduced Jim – who regularly posts inspirational quotes and “manifestations” to help people find love – to her Horrible Bosses co-star, Jason Bateman, and his wife, former actress Amanda Anka, both 56.

The foursome then enjoyed a yacht trip together.

Following the trip, Jim wrote in his newsletter – without referencing Jennifer – that it was a great experience, and that when he was “sick, sad, stuck and in pain”, Jim did not think he “would have the abundance, joy and love” that he “now experiences on a daily basis”.

In June, Jim and the Friends star were spotted at the five-star Alila Ventana Big Sur hotel in Northern California.

Around this time, Jennifer – who was previously in a relationship with 61-year-old actor Brad Pitt from 2000 until 2005, as well as 54-year-old actor Justin Theroux from 2015 until 2018 – liked Jim’s post that read: “Repeat these affirmations to heal and recover from a divorce, breakup or difficult romance and begin to call in the new empowered, healthy and divine love.”

But it was earlier in November that Jennifer and Jim went Instagram official with their relationship on his birthday – November 2.

Captioning a cute black-and-white photo of the couple sharing a sweet embrace, Jennifer wrote: “Happy birthday, my love. Cherished.”
