Famous small screen actress Rubina Dilaik recently spoke about the ongoing crisis in Himachal Pradesh. Born and brought up in Shimla, Rubina started her acting career after coming to Mumbai. She told that her daughters are also there in this bad time. Rubina shared a video on her social media and said, ‘Many people have commented to me that why are you not posting anything about Himachal, how much devastation is happening there, due to rain, so many landslides, trees are falling, connection is completely gone, roads are flowing.’

She said, ‘I really have nothing to say. No one can do anything against nature. For the last 4 days, my own family is at our farm house, my daughters, my parents, my grandmother. They have no electricity for the last 3 days, there is no cellular network, the source of water is flooded. We are safe but the way everyone is going through, we can only pray.’

Rubina further said, ‘We are worried while sitting at home here. For the last 2 weeks, Abhinav and I have been scheduling our flights but we are not getting a chance. Sometimes there are landslides. I had gone there 15 days ago, only then the landslide situation had ended. So I can understand that in Himachal, actually in Punjab, in the current situation, a lot of people are living with a lot of difficulties and we, I especially can only pray to God to keep us all safe.’

She said, ‘Right now this is my only prayer for everyone and if anyone wants to raise funds through social media or needs help, I can definitely do that, but I want to share this only with you and my family is also living through this situation and I am just praying to God that we all come out of this natural disaster stronger and everyone stays safe. I am sending my prayers and love to all the affected families.’
