Enrique Iglesias made a spectacular comeback to India after more than a decade, performing to sold-out crowds during his two-day concert in Mumbai on October 29 and 30. Held at the MMRDA Grounds in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), the concerts were part of the global tour of the “King of Latin Pop,” marking his first India performance since 2012.

Ahead of his shows, the 50-year-old Grammy-winning artist spoke to Zoom about why he decided to return. “It’s the people — their warmth and passion for music have always stayed with me,” Enrique said, reflecting on his earlier visits in 2004 and 2012. He added, “I’ve heard so much about the incredible energy in Mumbai — I couldn’t wait to feel that connection again.”

The concerts were nothing short of magical — a blend of nostalgia, emotion, and energy. Opening acts by Progressive Brothers and Jonita Gandhi set the perfect tone for the night before Enrique took the stage for a 90-minute electrifying set featuring 19 of his greatest hits. Fans sang and danced along to classics like Hero, Bailamos, and Tonight (I’m Lovin’ You), as the singer’s charisma lit up the Mumbai sky.

In his interview, Enrique shared what he believes makes his music connect so deeply with fans: “It’s about emotion — when something comes from the heart, people feel it.” When asked about his “King of Latin Pop” title, he humbly replied, “I just try to keep making music that feels honest and connects with people.”

During his performance, he delivered fan favorites including Me Pasé, El Perdón, Bailando, Tired of Being Sorry, Heartbeat, Sweet Dreams, and Baby I Like It, ending the night on a euphoric note.

The event saw several Bollywood stars — Malaika Arora, Vidya Balan, Rakul Preet Singh, Jackky Bhagnani, Rubina Dilaik, and Disha Parmar, among others — dancing to his timeless tunes, celebrating the unforgettable return of Enrique Iglesias to India.

Taye Diggs isn’t giving up on finding love, even in his 50s.

“Being in your 50s, being single, being a Black man, trying to figure out if he’s ready for love — that’s a very specific kind of genre,” Diggs told PEOPLE about his upcoming Lifetime film, “His, Hers & Ours.”

“I can pull on life experiences way more than I was able to before,” he added.

While the single life has its challenges, Diggs says it’s all part of the journey.

“It’s just different. I’m older now and I have certain boundaries and my tastes have changed,” he said. “I’ll never give up. I’m just saying it’s not easy. It takes some work and attention.”

Ajith shared how fans, in the name of celebrations, burst firecrackers and tear the screens and added that “all this needs to end.”

Actor Ajith Kumar has opened up about the stampede, which left 41 people dead, at Vijay’s Karur political rally in Tamil Nadu and talked about who is responsible for it. Speaking with Hollywood Reporter India, Ajith spoke about the reasons which led to such incidents. He said that as a society “we have become obsessed with gathering a crowd to show your crowd,” adding that “all these has to end.”

The actor said that he has a good life because of his fans, but the “love and attention” should be monitored. He shared how fans, in the name of celebration, burst firecrackers and tore the screens, adding that “all this needs to end.”

Ajith said, “I’m not trying to put anybody down, but like I say, there’s so much happening in Tamil Nadu today because of this stampede that happened. That individual (Vijay) alone is not responsible; we are all responsible for it, and I think even the media has a part to play in this. Today I think we have become a society that’s so obsessed with gathering a crowd, to show your crowd. All this has to end.”

He said that there are certain ways in which fans can express their love. “I mean, you have a crowd that goes for a cricket match, you don’t see all this happening there, do you? Why is it happening only in theatres? Why is it only happening with celebrities, film personalities? So, what happens? It projects the whole film industry, world over, in a bad light. I mean, even Hollywood actors or we don’t wish this. We want that love and that’s what we work hard for…There are ways you can express your love.”

About Karur stampede

The Karur stampede took place on September 27 at Velusamipuram in Karur during a public interaction event attended by Vijay. It left 41 people, including women and children, dead and over 60 injured.

He recalled, “We were very close. She’s a nice girl. She goes to church every morning, a good kid. I liked her because she was a good dancer, very beautiful. There was a college competition, and I was called to judge. A friend of mine told me there was a girl at St. Andrews.”

Arshad said, “I was trying to figure out which one of them had the best smile. I saw her and thought she was a beautiful girl and a good dancer. I told her I act in theatre and that it would be nice to work with her, but she refused.” Despite her initial refusal, fate had other plans. Maria later attended one of Arshad’s plays in Bandra and was so impressed that she decided to join his dance troupe as a background dancer. That’s when their story truly began.

Arshad said with a laugh, “She fell in love with me, but never told me, but her body language said it all. All my friends told me she liked me. When I asked her, she said no.” It wasn’t until a performance in Dubai that Maria’s feelings came to light. “We had a show in Dubai, and I offered this Catholic girl a beer. Halfway through the bottle, all her feelings came out,” Arshad joked. “Then we started going out, and we got married.” Arshad further said, “I also believe that lust is more valuable. A husband and wife should always have lust for each other, which never ends. Love can exist between a mother and son, but between a husband and wife, lust is more important. You should have lust for each other; that’s what keeps your relationship alive forever.”

Well, Rashmika has now shared her thoughts on work-life balance, explaining the importance of not ‘overworking’.

Some time back Rashmika Mandanna mentioned that it has been months since she got a full 8-hour sleep. Referring to the same, when asked about work-life balance, Rashmika told Gulte, “I think us glorifying the fact that we overwork is not good. I overwork, and I’m telling you, it’s highly not suggestible. Don’t do it. It’s not sustainable. Don’t do it. Do what is comfortable for you, do what is right for you. Get those 8 hours, get those 9-10 hours also because trust me that’s going to save you in the later ages. As in, I have seen a lot of these conversations recently where people are like ‘okay, you know, work timing’ and all of that. I’ve done it both. And I’m telling you, this is not worth it. As in, of course, it’s a responsibility that you have. I tend to overwork myself because I take on so much more than a normal human being can and should. But I’m also not someone who will tell my teams that I can’t do something for them. If I know that they are struggling and they’re like ‘no we have this location only till now and we have to shoot so much in this time’ and all of that, I understand and I’ll give in.”

When director Rahul Ravindran said ‘It’s almost everyday in cinema’, Rashmika agreed and explained, “Yeah, that’s almost every day in cinema. And that’s the love and respect I have for my teams. But if I could choose for myself, I would say ‘please don’t make us actors do that, because there’s a lot that’s going on’. Not even actors. Directors, lightmen, music, everyone, just have, like you know how office time is 9 to 6 or 9 to 5 or 9 to 4, let us have that. Because there’s still a family life that I want to focus on, there’s still my sleep that I want to get in, I still want to work out so, you know, later on I’m not regretting that I wish I was, you know, healthy and fit and working out when I was younger. I’m still thinking about my future. But right now I don’t have a say because I’m taking on too much on myself.”

Rakhi further explained that she requested the BMC to construct her mother’s grave as she couldn’t come to India to collect her ashes. “They would call me to take my mother’s ashes, but where would I find them? I asked BMC to make a grave. Every year on her death anniversary, I just cry,” she shared. In her heart-wrenching confession, Rakhi said that despite her fame, she has faced betrayal and financial loss multiple times.

Rakhi praised Farah Khan for helping her rebuild her life, revealing that the filmmaker is building her a new house after her old one got destroyed. “Farah Ma’am is my life. When I came back after three and a half years, my house was ruined. She’s building it again for me. She gave me Diwali gifts, utensils, a cooker, and a washing machine. She’s my sugar mummy,” Rakhi said. She also expressed deep gratitude to Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, calling them her godfathers, and credited Bollywood for supporting her when no one else did. Addressing criticism over her bold image, Rakhi clarified that her success came from hard work, not compromise. “I sold myself to Bollywood by showing off my body only to earn rice and dal. “I’m so proud of him. He’s such a great dad. He’s so present,” Beauvais said.

She added that she cherishes every call and visit from her grandkids, especially with her grandson Oliver Jr.

Sometimes I don’t know what to make of it. Then I remember I don’t have to make anything of it. Just live it,” she added. Ira detailed her therapy journey, revealing that she attended sessions three times a week over eight years. While she continues her medication, her therapist believes she is now capable of managing independently. “On 13th October, I had my last therapy session. After 3 times a week—for 8 years of psychoanalysis—I’m no longer in therapy. Not being in therapy anymore means my therapist and I felt confident that I had learnt a bunch of things, started living my life in a more helpful manner, and I’d be able to manage on my own—responsibly taking care of myself and remembering to have fun in life!” she explained

She emphasized that while she is not “cured,” she is in remission from depression and confident in managing future episodes with medication and seeking help if needed. Celebrating this milestone, Ira joyfully declared, “I GRADUATED THERAPY!! I PASSED!”
