“Twilight” is celebrating its upcoming 20th anniversary (don’t panic!) with three collectible editions of Stephanie Meyers’s bestselling series. The special-edition copies officially released on Tuesday and are available to order on Amazon. But act fast, because they’re already No. 1 bestsellers and sure to sell out quickly.

The three collectible releases include the “Twilight: Deluxe Collector’s Edition,” which features a vintage-inspired design with a foil-stamped slipcase, ribbon marker and brand new cover design; the paperback “Twilight: 20th Anniversary Edition,” debuts new cover art and a black and red book edge; and lastly, the most comprehensive of the bunch, the “Twilight Saga Deluxe Hardcover Collection,” a box set that includes all three books in the “Twilight” series “Twilight,” “New Moon,” “Eclipse” and “Breaking Dawn,”in addition to Meyers’ most recent addition, “Midnight Sun,” a retelling of the first book from the perspective of Edward Cullen rather than Bella Swan.

The 20th anniversary follows news of an animated series based on “Midnight Sun,” that has been given a straight-to-series order at Netflix. There were originally four novels in the immensely popular “Twilight” series — “Twilight,” “New Moon,” “Eclipse,” and “Breaking Dawn” — published between 2005 and 2008. Meyers also released the book “Life and Death: Twilight Reimagined” in 2015, which gender-swapped the two main characters, Bella and Edward. Meyers then released “Midnight Sun” in 2020.

The film franchise, collectively known as “The Twilight Saga,” was comprised of five films and was released between 2008 and 2012. The five films grossed over $3 billion at the global box office in total and made stars of main cast members like Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner.

Shah Rukh Khan’s fans are going into a frenzy as fresh glimpses from the sets of his upcoming film King continue to surface. The action thriller, which also stars Deepika Padukone and Suhana Khan, has been keeping Bollywood enthusiasts on their toes with every new update.
A new photo of Shah Rukh Khan, now circulating online, shows him standing on a dock beside a ship, holding a gun and looking every bit the action hero. Clad in a sleek black suit, Shah Rukh’s striking pose and commanding presence in the frame have sparked speculation about an intense action sequence. Social media users are already sharing theories, with excitement building for what promises to be one of the actor’s most daring roles.

Earlier, pictures featuring Shah Rukh with his daughter Suhana were leaked from outdoor shoots. In those images, SRK sports a white t-shirt layered with an overshirt, a grey beard, and a hat, giving him Jawan vibes, according to fans. Suhana looks ready for action herself, wearing a brown tank top and beige cargo pants, hinting at her involvement in thrilling sequences. Abhishek Bachchan also appeared in the earlier leaks, looking stylish in a salt-and-pepper ensemble.
Recently, Deepika Padukone joined the shoot and shared a heartfelt post on social media with Shah Rukh. In the picture, their hands are clasped together, and Deepika reflected on their long-standing collaboration. She wrote, “The very first lesson he taught me almost 18 years ago while filming Om Shanti Om was that the experience of making a movie, and the people you make it with, matter far more than its success… That’s probably why we’re back making our 6th movie together.” She tagged SRK and added the hashtags #King and #Day1, signalling a new chapter in their celebrated on-screen partnership.

King boasts an ensemble cast, including Abhay Verma, Rani Mukerji, Jaideep Ahlawat, Arshad Warsi, and Saurabh Shukla. With action, drama, and a powerhouse cast, the film is already generating massive anticipation ahead of its release.

A new memoir by Priscilla Presley.

If you didn’t know, Priscilla met Elvis when she was just 14 and he was 24. The singer was serving in the U.S. Army in 1959 in Germany. The pair remained romantically connected for years, even with distance between them and in 1967, they were wed in a simple and very secret ceremony in Las Vegas. While their separation in 1973 was painful for Priscilla, this novel highlights why it was so important for the Naked Gun star to leave.

It seems that Priscilla lost touch with herself throughout her relationship with Elvis. Leaving allowed her to find herself again. The service is set to take place Sunday, Sept. 21 beginning at 11 a.m. local time (2 p.m. ET) from State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ, not far from where Kirk’s conservative advocacy group, Turning Point USA, is based.

Canadian authorities have charged a 26-year-old Ottawa man whom they accuse of posting death threats against Morrissey online, the Ottawa Citizen reports. The man, Noah Castellano, is being charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, and he was released from custody on $5,000 bail, according to the report.

According to court documents obtained by the Ottawa Citizen, investigators believe that Castellano is behind a Bluesky post from September 4 that reads: “Steven Patrick Morrissey when you perform at TD Place here in Ottawa next week on the evening of September 12th, 2025 at about 9pm, I will be present at the venue in the audience and I will attempt to shoot you many times and kill you with a very large gun that I own illegally.”

Morrissey toured the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe earlier this year, and he began his latest North America tour in Montreal on September 10. He played his September 12 show in Ottawa without incident, and continued his tour in Toronto and New York. Nevertheless, he has canceled tonight’s show, in Mashantucket, Connecticut, and tomorrow night’s, in Boston, citing “recent events and out of an abundance of caution for the safety of both the artist and band.”

Vir Das Says Indian Comedy Faces Legal Threats, Not Just Online Backlash

Actor-comedian Vir Das is not one to mince words, especially when it comes to the contrasting realities of cancel culture in the West and in India. During a recent stand-up comedy performance, the outspoken comic offered a satirical, yet brutally honest take on how comedians are treated differently in each part of the world.

He shared a video snippet of this performance on his Instagram on Saturday, and it’s already getting people talking.

Vir Das on Cancel Culture: A Tale of Two Realities

From the moment Vir stepped on stage, he wasted no time in diving into the controversy. “Please don’t cancel me, I apologise! It would really interfere with my incarceration,” he joked to a laughing crowd. The irony wasn’t lost on anyone.

Referring to conversations with fellow comedians in the U.S., Vir mocked the typical Western outcry over cancel culture. He recounted a conversation with an American comic who dramatically lamented, “Vir, cancel culture is insane! The other day a mob came after me. A mob on Twitter!”

Das followed that up with a biting analogy, mocking the Western panic over online backlash compared to legal ramifications in India: “It’s like telling the freshly castrated that your balls itch.”

The audience roared with laughter, but Vir’s point was razor-sharp. He went on to critique an article he had read in a Western publication: “The most annoying article I ever read in the West is: Why doesn’t Indian comedy content push the envelope?” His response? “Really b**h? Because we looked inside the envelope! There are court cases inside the envelope. There is a court date on top of the envelope.”*

This wasn’t just hyperbole. For Das, the risks are not just about public opinion—they’re legal.

Legal Heat: The Cost of Pushing the Envelope in India

Vir Das is no stranger to controversy—or the courtroom. In 2021, he faced a police complaint and a wave of public outrage after a performance in the U.S. where he spoke about the “Two Indias” he comes from. The routine tackled hard-hitting issues such as women’s safety, Covid-19 mismanagement, environmental pollution, and the farmer protests. Critics accused him of insulting India, and legal trouble followed.

This wasn’t his first brush with legal challenges either. In 2020, his Netflix dark comedy series Hasmukh came under fire when a group of lawyers filed a legal notice against the show. Their claim? That episode four defamed and maligned the legal profession.

The message in his latest performance was clear: While Western comedians may fear social media outrage, Indian comics often face real, legal consequences for expressing dissent or satire.

And yet, Das continues to push boundaries.

His latest stand-up special, Fool Volume, was released on Netflix on July 18. The special has already garnered attention for its fearless take on politics, identity, and, of course, cancel culture. It’s a continuation of Vir’s brand—bold, unapologetic, and willing to take on the establishment, no matter the cost.

By drawing this East vs. West comparison, Vir isn’t just talking about comedy. He’s raising important questions about freedom of speech, censorship, and how societies deal with discomforting truths.

The retail giant has steadily layered benefits onto Walmart+ since its 2020 launch — from free delivery on grocery and general merchandise orders over $35, to next-day and two-day shipping on Walmart.com with no order minimum, to savings on fuel at Exxon, Mobil, Walmart, Murphy stations and Sam’s Club. Now, by integrating streaming into its bundle, Walmart is positioning its membership as not just a shopping convenience, but a lifestyle membership that covers entertainment as well as household needs.

The streaming add-on arrives at a moment when consolidation is reshaping the media landscape. To maintain a competitive edge, both Paramount+ and Peacock have grown their streaming lineups with some of the buzziest film and show titles, live events and cable news offerings.

Peacock continues to roll out original series alongside NBCUniversal’s robust live sports lineup, in addition to complete seasons and new next-day episodes from NBC and Bravo, and an expansive library of beloved films and TV shows. Paramount+, meanwhile, offers exclusive access to original series, blockbuster movies, a mix of new releases and timeless favorites from CBS, Nickelodeon, and more, along with live sports such as the UEFA Champions League.

Walmart+ remains priced at $98 /year or $12.95/month, with a 30-day free trial available. Plus, members must re-select their preferred streaming service every 90 days, meaning they can oscillate between Peacock or Paramount+ depending on their preferred shows and films at any given time.
