Dharmendra Discharged From Hospital, To Continue Recovery At Home In Mumbai; Veteran Actor’s Team Shares Official Update- Watch

Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra, who was recently admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital, has now been discharged and will continue his recovery at home. The 89-year-old actor was hospitalised over a week ago after he reportedly complained of breathlessness. He remained under medical supervision for several days before being allowed to return home.

On Wednesday morning, November 12, paparazzi captured a video of an ambulance arriving at Dharmendra’s Juhu residence. Shortly after, his son, actor Bobby Deol, was also seen reaching the house to be with his father.

According to a report by PTI, doctors at Breach Candy Hospital confirmed that the veteran actor had been discharged. A statement from Dharmendra’s PR team stated, “Mr. Dharmendra has been discharged from the hospital and will continue his recovery at home. We kindly request the media and the public to refrain from any further speculation and to respect his and the family’s privacy during this time. We appreciate everyone’s love, prayers, and good wishes for his continued recovery, good health, and long life. Please respect him because he loves you.”

Though the Deol family has yet to release an official statement, several media reports suggest that Dharmendra’s condition is now stable. He will continue receiving medical care and rest at home under the supervision of doctors.
Fans and well-wishers across the country have been sending their love and prayers to the veteran star through social media, expressing relief over the news of his recovery. Known as the “He-Man” of Bollywood, Dharmendra has enjoyed a remarkable career spanning more than six decades, winning millions of hearts with his charm, versatility, and timeless performances.
As he recuperates at home surrounded by his family, fans hope to see their beloved actor back in good health soon.

Marty Supreme, director Josh Safdie’s new A24 film starring Timothée Chalamet and Tyler, the Creator, comes out next month. Today, there’s a new trailer that sets up what to expect from table tennis star Marty Mauser (Chalamet) as he strives to become the best athlete in the sport. Watch it below.

Marty Supreme features a score by longtime Safdie collaborator Oneohtrix Point Never. Rounding out the cast are Gwyneth Paltrow, Fran Drescher, Abel Ferrara, and others. Josh Safdie co-wrote the movie with Ronald Bronstein, a writer on Good Time and Uncut Gems, and will show off his solo directorial skills—it’s his first feature film not to be co-directed with his younger brother, Benny, since his 2008 debut, The Pleasure of Being Robbed.

Out in theaters on December 25, Marty Supreme is the first big project from Timothée Chalamet since he played Bob Dylan in 2024’s A Complete Unknown.

While Tyler, the Creator is a longtime visual storyteller and has acted in numerous roles over the years, ranging from his own TV series Loiter Squad to cameos in shows like The Mindy Project and Big Mouth, this Marty Supreme casting is his first major film role. Of course, the rapper is always plenty busy onscreen in the form of music videos, too, including for his Don’t Tap the Glass single “Sugar on My Tongue.”

Madman Films in Australia has unveiled an official trailer for the acclaimed, award-winning doc film called Mr Nobody Against Putin, made by director David Borenstein as his latest feature. This documentary premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival earlier this year where it won a Special Jury Prize. A brave and resilient primary school teacher secretly exposes Putin’s aggressive militarisation of Russia’s schools and their propaganda tactics in one of the great documentary sensations of the year. It has played at tons of other festivals including CPH:DOX, Docville, Zurich, DOC:NYC and others. Mr Nobody Against Putin was shot over a period of 2 years by Pavel “Pasha” Talankin, the videographer & events coordinator at Karabash Primary School #1. Talankin began seriously documenting his activities after the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, when the government began requiring schools to hold regular “patriotic displays” and use a state-written curriculum to justify the invasion to students. Talankin secretly fled Russia during the summer of 2024, aided by his producers and director David Borenstein who worked to get him asylum in Europe, following evidence of police surveillance at his home. This doc looks excellent.

He is outraged by the new government propaganda in the curriculum, not to mention the school’s being used as a military recruitment ground. In class, Pasha finds ways to playfully protest the regime; more crucially, he becomes a whistleblower – secretly filming the alarming shifts under the guise of his work as school videographer. He risks his life to send the footage overseas to filmmaker David Borenstein – while also planning his own escape. Mr Nobody Against Putin is directed by international doc filmmaker David Borenstein, also director of the films Dream Empire and Can’t Feel Nothing, plus a few other series and short film. It’s produced by Helle Faber. This initially premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, where it won a Special Jury Prize. No final release date is set yet – still playing at more festivals and beyond. Expected to open in early 2026 in US theaters. Anyone interested in watching?

A quest for change in Peru is cut short by cancer. Back home, he finds strength in family and his college love. Shalin’s viral manifesto urges cherishing every moment-a true tale of love, legacy, and now. Starring Kapil Talwalkar as Shalin, Olivia Liang, Karan Soni, Tom E. It first premiered at the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival earlier this year and opens in theaters in December. Inspired by a harrowing true story, Lucy Liu transforms in a riveting, career-redefining performance as an ailing woman who takes drastic measures to protect her troubled teenage son. If you didn’t pick up on it in the trailer, here’s more context: “Lucy Liu delivers a transformative performance as a terminally ill Chinese immigrant who uncovers her son’s disturbing fixation with mass shootings. As her health deteriorates, she takes increasingly desperate — and morally complex — measures to protect him and confront the darkness he’s drawn to.” Very interesting. Along with Liu, the cast includes Lawrence Shou, Orion Lee, Jennifer Lim, Madison Hu, & James Chen. Looks like a very emotional story. Reviews say she “embodies Irene with a quiet contemplativeness and increasing desperation that will leave you speechless as the credits roll.”

Not to be confused with either the Danish film called The Hunt with Mads Mikkelsen or the controversial American film The Hunt from a few years ago. But just as unsettling as those films. Franck and his buddies enjoy going on hunting trips. One day, they encounter another hunting group who strangely targets them. In self-defense, Franck’s group injures one of the attackers. But paranoia sets in as they return home and try to forget the incident – but the start to feel hunted by now vengeful enemies after them. “The most dangerous enemy is the one you can’t see.” Starring Benoît Magimel and Mélanie Laurent, pluds Damien Bonnard, Manuel Guillot, Cédric Appietto, Angelyna Danabe-Mignot, Sarah Pachoud, Yann Goven, Paul Beaurepaire, and Patrick De Vallette. This reminds me of that Netflix series “Beef” where a random occurrence turns into something bigger that destroys everyone’s lives. Looks just as crazy.

Neon has revealed their official trailer for a sci-fi animated adventure movie titled Arco, produced by Natalie Portman and directed by young French animation filmmaker Ugo Bienvenu (follow him @ugobienvenu) as his feature directorial debut after many comics. What if rainbows were actually time travelers flying across the sky? On his first flight through time, Arco crash lands from the year 3000 into our near future. His fall is witnessed by a little girl, Iris, who helps him return home. Set in 2075, a ten year old girl, Iris, meets Arco. He comes from an idyllic far future where time travel is possible. Iris shelters him and will do whatever it takes to help him return home. A wondrous odyssey filled with hope and optimism for our future, Arco is an enchanting fable from breakout filmmaker Ugo Bienvenu. The English-language voice cast for the US release features Will Ferrell, America Fererra, Flea, Natalie Portman, Mark Ruffalo, and Andy Samberg. It’s set for release in theaters this November. I had a chance to watch this film recently and yep I loved it. My kind of hard sci-fi storytelling mashed up with a lovely story about changing our future. Definitely worth a watch.

Who owns our days?” Mubi has revealed the full official US trailer for La Grazia, the latest Italian film made by acclaimed filmmaker Paolo Sorrentino following his flop last year Parthenope. This one premiered at the 2025 Venice Film Festival a few months ago as the Opening Night Film in the competition. It won the Best Actor award for the lead star who really is tremendous in this film. A sweeping exploration of love, morality, and a man’s legacy. A widowed Italian president faces moral crises over euthanasia legislation and pardoning killers while grappling with his late wife’s infidelity during his final months in office. Toni Servillo stars as Italian President Mariano De Santis, who is on his final few months before leaving. The cast includes Anna Ferzetti, Orlando Cinque, Massimo Venturiello, and Milvia Marigliano. This is worth watching just for Servillo, whose layered performance features the grace and complexity necessary for this complex role. The rest of it – well that’s up to you. It received mixed reviews playing at the film festivals this fall and opens in limited theaters starting in December. View below.
