The pop star was at the top of her game, performing tracks from all three of her studio albums.

Billie Eilish has been touring for well over a year at this point. She’s probably exhausted — it would be understandable if she was sick and tired of life on the go — but if either of those things were true, the thousands of fans at the UBS Arena in New York on Saturday night (Oct. 25) would never have been able to tell.

The singer — who previously stopped through NYC’s Madison Square Garden in October 2024 — was poised, energetic and appeared to be having the the time of her life on stage, playing the first of two back-to-back shows at the venue on her mammoth Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour supporting last year’s album of the same name. If anything, Eilish’s marathon time on the road since the trek kicked off two Septembers ago has only made her a stronger, sharper performer, with the star commanding her setlist of songs spanning all three of her studio albums, her debut EP Don’t Smile at Me and club-ready Charli xcx collaboration “Guess” with impressive stamina and musicality.

And despite a headline-making instance of an over-aggressive concertgoer forcibly yanking her at a show in Miami, the best part of Saturday’s show was the vulnerable connection and trust Eilish maintains with her fans regardless of the potential dangers. “You’re very precious to me, and I feel the need to protect you always,” she said shortly before performing Oscar-winning Barbie anthem “What Was I Made For?” while holding the hands of front-rowers reaching out to her.

“I just love you so much, and I’ll always fight for you and stand up for you,” she added. “Just know that I got you, and I know you got me.”

Eilish, finally, is now in the final stretch of her HMHAS tour, with the nine-time Grammy winner having just a month left of shows to go before wrapping with two nights at the Chase Center in San Francisco in late November. From impeccable vocal moments to a hilarious looper snafu, check out Billboard‘s roundup of the best moments from her last stop in New York on her finale lap through the United States below.

This certainly isn’t the first time Eilish’s vocal growth has been pointed out, but if there’s anyone left out there who still thinks of her as a quiet, whisper-soft singer, all they need to do is attend one of her concerts to realize how wrong they are. Even from the opening number — Hit Me Hard and Soft‘s “Chihiro” — it was clear that she has completely leveled up in her singing capabilities, with the star beautifully belting freely and often throughout the set. That even included songs where you wouldn’t necessarily expect her to let loose vocally, like on “NDA,” but it only ever elevated the original versions.

  • “Wildflower” Wins Again

Nearly a year and a half after Billboard ranked “Wildflower” the No. 1 song on Hit Me Hard and Soft, Eilish proved that the track is still one of her all-timers with an exquisite and palpably passionate live performance toward the beginning of her set. It also marked one of the loudest instances of fans singing along with her the entire night, with the crowd becoming part of the show by screaming the studio version’s backup vocals in call-and-response form — something that’s become a tradition amongst Eilish’s concertgoers.

Another thing that made the number extra special: the arena holding up their phone flashlights without Eilish even having to ask, surrounding her in a comforting glow as she poured her heart out in some of the most vulnerable lyrics she’s ever written.

  • When the Party’s … Oops

One of the coolest moments in Eilish’s show is when she performs “When the Party’s Over” from debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? a cappella, stacking her own harmonies with a looper tool. “Listen, listen,” she instructed the crowd beforehand. “The thing is, it will only work if the entire room is completely silent for, like, one minute. It’s the only time in the whole show that you’ll have to be quiet.”

Despite Eilish’s plea, a fan or two couldn’t help themselves when the arena went silent. “I love you!” they screamed as the singer recorded her first harmony layer, after which other audience members loudly scolded them.

Unfortunately, the rogue “I love you!” did make it into the loop, and as it played again and again while Eilish continued stacking vocals, the crowd — assuming that people were still being unruly and not realizing that it was the same “I love you” being repeated — continued chastising the rule-breakers, which led to even more noise bleeding into the recording. Eilish, however, took it in stride, cracking up a little before giving a “yikes” expression and moving the number along like a pro, extra sound effects included.

Shortly before one of the show’s quieter moments — during which Eilish invites fans to sit down for a spell as she sings moving ballad “Your Power” and accompanies herself on acoustic guitar — the star gave a stirring speech about the importance of connecting with others through live music. “It’s, like, a really dark time in the world,” she began.

“It’s a really scary time, and it’s hard to feel like there’s anything that’s making a difference at all,” Eilish continued. “It feels like we’re all doomed a little bit … but also, I think that it’s really special that we have [this]. I have this feeling of like, ‘Oh, I shouldn’t do shows, maybe, because I feel like there’s more important things in the world,’ or something. Then I think, ‘It’s actually really important that we have things that bring us together and art that we love, and that we have togetherness at all.’”

She went on to share that she feels “really, really grateful and lucky” that she gets to hold concerts at a time when it’s more vital than ever. “I think we all really need it, and we need to be together, and we need to have this glue that keeps us one, you know?” Eilish added. “I hope you feel safe here, and I hope that you feel comfortable to be yourself.”

  • Handheld Shenanigans

    }

Eilish’s visuals — which included lasers, horror-movie-esque stills and pyrotechnics — were top tier throughout the one-hour, 45-minute show, but one of the best effects also happened to be the most simple. At different points in the program, the singer carried a handheld camera with her as she walked around and under her stage, giving each individual band and crew member a chance to wave “hi” to the audience as the feed projected live on the big screens.

She also carried the camera as she moved through the pit and performed “Guess” on a B-stage, where Eilish pointed the lens down at the fans below and gave them a rare glimpse at her POV. Without the handheld, the crowd also never would have gotten to see the completely random visitor Eilish had chilling beneath the stage the entire time — a life-size Tinky-Winky Teletubby — whom she filmed while crossing under the risers between “Everything I Wanted” and a mashup of “Lovely,” “Blue” and “Ocean Eyes” on piano. Eh-oh!

Live’s Best Moments from the Summer Unity Tour

by jummy84 October 21, 2025
written by jummy84

Live and Collective Soul both made massive hits in the 1990s, but it’s in the 21st century that the two veteran alternative bands have become a successful package deal on the road, first co-headlining a tour in 2008 and then reuniting this year for the Summer Unity Tour. The two bands played 30 dates from coast to coast throughout July and August, with openers Our Lady Peace and Greylin James Rue.

The tour wrapped up a few weeks ago with a date in Grantville, Pennsylvania, just an hour from York, where Ed Kowalczyk became Live’s lead singer over 40 years ago. Before Live heads back out to play shows in Michigan and Ohio this month, SPIN reached Kowalczyk via email to find out about some of his favorite memories from spending the summer of 2025 on the road. “There were so many highlights and nights to remember on our tour with Collective Soul,” Kowalczyk says. “I felt so energized and inspired the whole time; morning, noon and night for eight weeks straight. The rapport and the vibes backstage were so chill between the crew and bands.”

1. Biking and flying a drone in Nashville

Kowalczyk was impressed by the site of Live and Collective Soul’s Nashville show on August 10th, the FirstBank Amphitheater, which reminded him of Colorado’s most famous music venue. “The venue in Tennessee was dug out of a quarry; it has a super surreal Red Rocks vibe at night,” he says. “I flew my drone around there and got some incredible footage. It was a great summer and we got very lucky with the weather which meant we could all be outside at the venues riding electric bikes and taking it all in.”

2. The fans who brought the whole family

“I have to say, the best part of the whole experience for me was seeing the new generation of young fans every night,” says Kowalczyk, who left Live in 2009 and rejoined the band in 2014, finding that many of the band’s original fans now have kids that they bring to the shows. “I met so many people who introduced me to their kids and said, ‘This is so-and-so’s first concert, and it had to be Live.’ It was such an emotional jubilee every night, its hard to put into words.”

3. The grub in Missouri

One of the things about touring life that many musicians relish is the chance to sample cuisine around the country, and Kowalczyk fondly remembers the food and the wine in St. Louis the week that the band played the Thunder Ridge Nature Arena in nearby Ridgedale, Missouri. “My favorite dining experience was at the Capital Grille in St. Louis on a day off. It was directly across the street from the hotel, so I popped over by myself and settled in,” he says. “My first course was a huge plate of Utz style potato chips with a bowl of gourmet chip dip and a blob of caviar on top; I inhaled it and washed it, and 3 dozen oysters, down with an entire bottle of Whispering Angel Rose…I walked out at 4pm.  Best meal and most rock-starrish day drinking day I had on the tour; unforgettable.”

4. Embracing the Texas roots of Live’s current lineup

Kowalczyk is the only remaining member of Live’s original Pennsylvania-based lineup, and all of his bandmates are now Texans: keyboardist Nick Jay, guitarist Zak Loy, bassist Chris Heerlein, and drummer Johnny Radelat. That made the tour’s string of August dates in Irving, Houston, and Austin into a special occasion for Live.  “All of the Texas shows were bananas and it felt like the band really reconnected deeply there,” Kowalczyk says.

Live will continue performing across North America well into 2026, including a tour of Canada with Big Wreck that begins in February. Links to tickets for all shows can be found at https://livetheband.com

Diane Keaton: Revisiting a Style Icon’s Best Beauty Moments

by jummy84 October 13, 2025
written by jummy84

Diane Keaton once described herself as “hardly iconic.” But that exact outlook is what made her one to begin with.

Since Keaton passed away on October 11, countless tributes have been dedicated to her life, body of work, and unique personal style. Snapshots from Keaton’s early career align with the aesthetic she was known and admired for. And while the focus is usually on her fashion, her approach to beauty also encapsulates her powerful sense of self.

When picturing Diane Keaton over the years, a few emblematic elements come to mind: slouchy blazers, pleated trousers, statement hats. Gray hair, confidently embraced. A tooth-bearing, eye-crinkling grin. A short manicure on animated hands. As she aged in the public eye, Keaton’s sense of joy was unaffected by the standards and stereotypes pushed on women in Hollywood. She refused to be told that she was “too old” for anything, but she also never tried to look younger.

Keaton’s beauty formula was always relatively simple. The dark, tight eyeliner and a swipe of glossy lipstick she wore while promoting Annie Hall and The Godfather stayed with her through Something’s Gotta Give and Book Club. Her skin went seemingly untouched. And while there’s nothing wrong using injectables and surgeries to hide the natural effects of aging, it’s arguable that doing so has become an expectation for women in Keaton’s position. She became an outlier by remaining loud with her facial expressions—without trying to hide the fact that she was getting older.

Best Moments at Rose Bowl

Best Moments at Rose Bowl

by jummy84 October 12, 2025
written by jummy84

Chappell Roan concluded the six-show U.S. leg of her Visions of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things tour in Pasadena, Calif., on Saturday night (Oct. 11) with a transcendent set that helped cement her status as one of the greatest performers of her generation.

Drawing a star-studded crowd that included SZA, Pedro Pascal, Sarah Paulson, Kesha and Tove Lo, Roan — dressed in a sparkly green two-piece bikini paired with matching Wonder Woman-esque forearm cuffs and knee-high boots — plowed through a set that included the majority of songs from her star-making debut album, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, along with standalone smashes “Good Luck, Babe!” and “The Subway” and a fierce cover of Heart’s “Barracuda.”

Prior to Roan’s emergence on stage, fans were treated to a festival-like atmosphere at the Rose Bowl-adjacent Brookside Park, made up into what might best be described as “Chappellchella.” In addition to a plethora of food booths and merch stations, attendees were spoiled for choice in terms of Instagram-worthy photo opps, which included a giant pink pony and a backdrop pulled from “The Subway” music video, complete with taxi cab and long trail of Chappell-red hair. Guests were also treated to a spirited DJ set from drag star Trixie Mattel (“Thank you to all the straight people who drove us here,” she quipped) and a compellingly eccentric and dance-worthy opening performance from Hemlocke Springs, who showcased a droll sense of humor during her spirited set.

Saturday marked the second of two Los Angeles shows Roan performed on the tour — she also played two dates each in New York and Kansas City — but, as she noted while speaking to the riveted crowd, she almost didn’t make it there. “I wasn’t going to do a U.S. tour until, at the very last minute, I decided to do one,” she said. “And I’m so glad I did.”

You know who else was glad she did? All of the roughly 40,000 people who turned out to see her. Over the course of just a few years, Roan has cultivated a massive and passionate fanbase through the sheer force of her volcanic talent, and all of her gifts were on full display Saturday: sky-scraping vocals, the showmanship of a seasoned pro and a songwriting prowess that makes practically every track a sing-along worthy event.

Below, check out a rundown of five of the best moments from Saturday night’s show, along with the full setlist.

How to describe the set design? Little Mermaid theme park ride? Mermaidcore fantasia? The Rise of Aquawoman? However you choose to define it, the Disney-like stage set served as a fiting backdrop for the superhero-sized star herself, who arrived onstage in a shimmery gold headdress and matching trident. Never has her “California” lyric about trading “amber clay roads” for “sea foam” felt more appropriate.

At one of her New York tour stops last month, Roan brought out special guest Nancy Wilson for a cover of one of Heart’s signature hits, “Barracuda,” providing the lucky crowd with a show-stopping moment that demonstrated the pop star’s capacity for rock-goddess theatrics. While there was no Wilson on hand for Roan’s performance of the song on Saturday, she nonetheless tore through the cover with a snarling, hair-whipping energy that left me intrigued at what a full-on rock album from the star might sound like.

Amid her startlingly fast rise to superstardom last year, Roan was uncommonly open about her struggles to adjust to the overwhelming demands of fame. “I miss just walking around being by myself,” Roan said during a podcast interview last July. Around the same time, she told a crowd at a show in North Carolina that she was “having an off day” and admitted it was “really hard to keep up” with her exploding career.

Luckily, it seems Roan has turned a corner. As she said from the stage on Saturday, “Everything made sense this year, why I do this. Last year, I was really questioning, ‘Why am I doing this to myself? I’m so sad…I feel so awkward all the time. And I always felt like, ‘If this is taking so much away from me, what is this for?’ And then I started doing shows again, and it all made sense that it was to literally bring queer people joy…There’s so many things in the world that are so ‘f—k you,’ and then there is this, that I’m like, ‘It’s the only thing that matters is joy anymore to me.’…Protecting this joy is the most important thing.”

  • ‘Kaleidoscope’ and ‘California’

Roan rose to fame on the strength of her bangers. On witty, candy-colored, slightly left-of-center pop hits like “Pink Pony Club,” “Red Wine Supernova” and “Good Luck, Babe!,” she helped bring a sense of fun back to a pop sphere that had trended toward a downbeat earnestness in the earlier part of the decade. But it’s worth putting a spotlight on two ballads that are perhaps lesser-known to the star’s more casual fans — notably Midwest Princess standouts “Kaleidoscope” and “California,” each of which she performed on Saturday. Both offer a compelling showcase for Roan’s vocal range as well as her songwriting abilities, which prove she’s just as capable of piercing our hearts with earnest expressions of vulnerability as she is of making us dance.

  • ‘Pussy Dena’

One of the many pleasures of a Chappell Roan show is the star’s playful banter with fans. “I’m not going to embarrass you,” she said to a random audience-goer between songs early in the evening, before apparently deciding otherwise: “Someone has a sign that says ‘Pussy Dena.’” Yes, they showed it on the Jumbotrons.

Bringing fridge magnets back from holidays has always been a must but what if you can make your own? Artists across cities are organising DIY fridge magnet workshops and have been getting a positive response.

Fridge magnets(Shobha arts world)

‘DIY fridge magnets have a personal touch that store-bought ones lack’

Artist Shweta Divgi Dhayatkar says the process is suitable for all ages, typically kids above eight years and adults of all ages enjoy these workshops. She says, “The fridge magnets are unique, customised and have a personal touch that store-bought ones lack. No prior art experience is needed as all materials are provided and guidance is given step-by-step. These workshops are usually an hour long. People love making something small yet personal to decorate their homes or gift loved ones.”

‘Students enjoy creating food shaped fridge magnets’

Food shapes are extremely popular among attendees says artist Shobha Laddha. She says, “We start with moulding, casting and then painting the fridge magnets. My students enjoying creating food shaped fridge magnets like dosas, donuts and pizzas. Others enjoy creating beverages like espressos and lattes. No matter their age, students enjoy playing and experimenting with clay dough. DIY magnets can feature family photos, inside jokes or meaningful symbols. It’s a fun way to make a kitchen feel more personal and cosy.”

‘Customers love how these small pieces can instantly personalise their spaces’

Harshita Gupta, owner of an online craft supplies store says the demand for raw materials required to make fridge magnets has been on the rise over the past few months. He says, ” Fridge magnets have really made a comeback in the past few months. Earlier, they were just considered as souvenirs, but now people are seeing them as a form of self-expression and home décor. Whether it’s a transparent magnet, a photo magnet, or a wooden one, each has its own unique charm and aesthetic. Customers love how these small pieces can instantly personalise their spaces — from displaying memories to adding a pop of creativity on their fridge. With so many styles and finishes available now, people are not just buying them for themselves but also as thoughtful little gifts.”

The growing demand is also linked to how social media and gifting trends have evolved, people love collecting and showcasing meaningful things. And that’s exactly what a fridge magnet does, it tells a story in a small, beautiful way

The 70th Hyundai Filmfare Awards 2025 with Gujarat Tourism is just around the corner, and this year, Shah Rukh Khan is returning to the stage as a host after a couple of years, making it extra special. Ahead of the 70th Hyundai Filmfare Awards 2025 with Gujarat Tourism, we look back at some of the most iconic moments of King Khan with the Black Lady, celebrating his charisma, wit, and unmatched presence that have left a lasting mark on Bollywood’s biggest night. From playful stage antics to emotional speeches, SRK’s journey with Filmfare is filled with unforgettable memories.

Shah Rukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan Hosting Shenanigans

In 2007, the two Khans made a grand entrance on an auto, with SRK teasing Saif about paying for the ride. Their hosting segments were full of playful pranks and spontaneous humour, leaving the audience in fits of laughter and cementing their legacy as one of the most entertaining duos in Filmfare history.

Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor as Silk Smitha

At the 57th Filmfare Awards in 2012, Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor co-hosted for the first time, instantly winning hearts with their energy and camaraderie. The night’s highlight was when both walked on stage dressed as Vidya Balan’s Silk Smitha from The Dirty Picture, complete with colourful sarees. Their playful performance left the audience in splits, creating one of the most memorable moments in Filmfare history.

Shah Rukh Khan’s charm is unmatched when it comes to hosting. In one unforgettable skit, he humorously portrayed himself struggling with a “hosting disorder” when not allowed to host a show, making the audience laugh uncontrollably. This remains one of his most iconic stage moments.

Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla’s on-stage Chemistry

At the 52nd Filmfare Awards, Shah Rukh and Juhi Chawla proved that their chemistry wasn’t just on screen. The duo’s playful banter, with SRK complimenting Juhi and her roasting him in return, had the audience roaring with laughter. Their humour and camaraderie remain a standout moment in Filmfare’s history.

When Irrfan Khan Paid Tribute to Mohabbatein

Irrfan Khan, in his unique style, recreated SRK’s iconic violin scene from Mohabbatein at the awards, complete with a sweater and a humorous twist on the famous dialogue Ek Ladki Thi Deewani Si. The interaction between the two legends brought laughter and applause, leaving a lasting memory for fans.

Shah Rukh Khan’s Emotional Speech

One of the most heartfelt moments in SRK’s Filmfare journey was his emotional acceptance speech for Best Actor for Kuch Kuch Hota Hai at the 1999 awards. Thanking Yash Johar and Hiroo Johar, he recalled Yash Ji’s advice to never give up, even when things don’t go right the first time, touching the hearts of everyone present.

Shah Rukh Khan’s association with Filmfare has been long and legendary, spanning from his first win for Deewana in 1993 to hosting the awards multiple times. His charm, humour, and spontaneity have given us moments that are etched in Bollywood history. This year, as he returns to host the 70th Hyundai Filmfare Awards 2025 with Gujarat Tourism, fans can surely expect another evening of laughter, entertainment, and unforgettable memories.

Kurukshetra’s Powerful Dialogues: A Deep Dive Into Mahabharata’s Greatest Moments | Glamsham.com

Netflix launched the official trailer of its upcoming animated show ‘Kurukshetra’, an epic retelling of the Mahabharata, which is set to be released on October 10, 2025.

The show promises a new and emotionally authentic retelling of India’s greatest epic based on the hidden personal stories behind the mythic war.

Directed by Tipping Point and written by Anu Sikka, Kurukshetra translates the vision of 18 prominent warriors who battle during the legendary battle of Kurukshetra. Unlike traditional interpretations, this adaptation delves deep into the inner, moral, and psychological dilemmas each character goes through. One prevalent theme is repeated in Lord Krishna’s ominous line during the trailer: “Iss yuddh mein na koi mitra hai, na koi shatru” (This war has no friends or enemies), borrowing a tone of story where goodness becomes interwoven with selfish desire and allegiance.

Directed and written by Ujaan Ganguly, the series sheds light on defining moments in the epic — Arjuna’s internal conflict, Draupadi’s vow for justice, Duryodhan’s thirst for power, and Bhishma Pitamah’s timeless wisdom. It paints a layered picture of family betrayal, duty, and destiny, offering viewers a deeper understanding of the characters and the cost of dharma (righteousness).

The animation is handled by Hitech Animation, giving rich stylized visuals to the storytelling. Adding poetic depth to the series is the veteran lyricist Gulzar with his poignant lyrics, complementing the emotional value of the show.

Kurukshetra is a bold new take on animated Indian storytelling, hoping to draw in young viewers as well as epic fans alike. The series will be available only on Netflix from October 10, inviting viewers to see the Mahabharata like never before — as narrated by its warriors.

In a revelation straight out of a classic film, Alia shares an adorable tradition of writing monthly letters and collecting pictures for her daughter Raha, something that feels right out of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Describing the tradition, she explained, “It’s like a monthly combination of images and stuff that happens. I am just giving her the pictures and stuff like that. I have a plan that I’ll gift it to her when she is 18.” Cute, quirky, and oh-so-Alia.

Varun’s SOTY Throwback

Varun took a fond stroll down the Student of the Year memory lane: “Rishi uncle was always too cool.” He laughed, remembering how late Rishi Kapoor refused a football scene over hair gel in his hair, saying, “Remove the gel, remove it. I won’t do the shot!” Nostalgia and filmi eccentricity collide.

The Grazing Table ft. Alia’s Beetroot Salad

In a quirky food game, the duo picked items from a platter while tackling hilariously random questions. Alia’s beetroot salad even made a special appearance! From Mithoon’s dialogues and dance moves to nuttiest habits and the cheesiest movie lines, the laughs never stopped.

Parenting 101 With Kajol and Twinkle

New parents Alia and Varun get a crash course from the hosts. Kajol said, “The only parenting tip I would say is to listen to them.” Alia chimed in, “There’s no such thing as too much love,” and Twinkle added with a grin, “Too much love, that’s it. That’s all you have to do”, making it a super wholesome moment.

Varun’s Favourite Twinkle Movie? Mela!

Varun sheepishly confessed about Twinkle’s film Mela, “I didn’t like it when I saw that film, but I keep rewatching it. It’s definitely a performance because you’re nothing like Roopa.” Kajol laughed while Twinkle joked, “I quit the business because I had to become Roopa,” sparking a hilarious trip down memory lane.

Alia Discovers the Kapoor Legacy

Though she usually doesn’t dwell on legacies, Alia admitted that during Raj Kapoor’s 100-year celebration, it hit her hard. She added, “Oh my god, Raj Kapoor is Raha’s great-grandfather. That link, I actually realised only then.” It was only during that milestone celebration that the Kapoor connection finally clicked for our favourite actress.

Blend It: Pedal, Pour, Repeat!

In the wildest segment yet, the stars hopped on bicycles with blenders and faced simple filmy sawal. Answer right, and sweet ingredients go in; get it wrong, and spicy or strange ones join the mix. From honey to chili surprises, the game was equal parts hilarious, absurd, and deliciously chaotic, a perfectly blended Two Much moment!

About The Show

Conceptualised and produced by Banijay Asia, this one-of-a-kind talk show is presented by Oppo and co-presented by Kohler and Kalyan Jewellers. The second episode of Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle will stream exclusively on Prime Video worldwide this Thursday, with new episodes dropping weekly.
