General Hospital dominated the 2025 Daytime Emmy Awards with seven total wins, while Sir David Attenborough broke a record that was set just one year earlier.

Attenborough notably beat Dick Van Dyke’s record as the oldest-ever winner of a Daytime Emmy, which he set at the 2024 show. Dyke was 98 when he won the award, while Attenborough is 99.

General Hospital won the coveted best daytime drama series award and took home the most awards with seven trophies, including best drama actress (Nancy Lee Grahn), best supporting drama actor (Jonathan Jackson) and daytime drama writing.

Other winners on the night were The Secret Lives of Animals and The Drew Barrymore Show with three awards each, plus ABC’s Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade and Netflix’s Black Barbie, with two wins.

Vicky Kaushal’s Favorite Directors: Guess Who’s Not On The List? | Glamsham.com

by jummy84 October 16, 2025
written by jummy84

Actor Vicky Kaushal has spoken about the ongoing buzz around his strained relationship with director Anurag Kashyap, days after the director spoke candidly about their current lack of interaction.

In a conversation at the Yuvaa Conclave, the Masaan actor, all set to become a father soon, spoke about the directors with whom he is close. Vicky openly tagged directors such as Anand Tiwari, Meghna Gulzar, and Laxman Utekar, highlighting the importance of long-term creative partnerships based on respect and trust to him. Interestingly, there was no mention of Anurag Kashyap’s name in the list — something that did not escape the fans, particularly in the wake of Kashyap’s recent comments.

This comes after the director’s open interview with The Lallantop, where he spoke about Vicky Kaushal’s new movie Chhaava, which was released on February 14, 2025. Anurag shared that he screened the movie just to watch actor Viineet Kumar Singh perform and confessed that he didn’t particularly care for it.

More importantly, he also opened up about his equation at a personal level with Kaushal. “I have very little interaction with him now. I don’t judge him, because everyone has their own reasons… I don’t repeat myself. What I wanted to say, I said,” said Kashyap, clearly stating there has been distance between them.

For those who do not know their background, Vicky Kaushal’s first major role was in Kashyap’s 2015 film Masaan, and that remains a milestone in his career. Kashyap, an acclaimed director with a reputation for providing new talent with their initial major opportunity, had frequently boasted about Kaushal’s ascension in Bollywood. Nevertheless, with time, their professional journeys went different ways.

Vicky’s recent remarks indicate a subtle but strong effort to clear the air without taking things out of hand. By not mentioning Kashyap as one of his closest collaborators, the actor of Uri appeared to indirectly confirm increasing distance between them while accentuating the individuals who are still a part of his creative process.

Meanwhile, Kashyap’s comments also suggested no ill will merely a natural drift in all these years as both established their own careers.

Although no reason for the estrangement has been openly expressed by either side, this public acknowledgement on both their parts has placed their once-strong relationship in sharp relief, and the fans wonder now if ever the two will again work together in the future.

Cooper, who topped the Billboard 200 in 1973 with his album Billion Dollar Babies, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2011. He is just the second person who was inducted as a performer in the Rock Hall to also be admitted to the Radio Hall of Fame, following R&B legend James Brown. (Four other Radio Hall inductees were honored by the Rock Hall in the non-performer category:  Alan Freed, Sam Phillips, Dick Clark and Don Cornelius.)

Quinn gained pop-culture immortality as one of MTV’s five original VJs when that culture-shaking channel launched in 1981, along with Mark Goodman, Alan Hunter, J.J. Jackson and Nina Blackwood. Quinn is the first of these five VJs to join the Radio Hall of Fame.

On Monday (June 30), the Museum of Broadcast Communications announced the selection of 10 new inductees – nine individuals and one team (Bob Lacey and Sheri Lynch of The Bob & Sheri Show) – into the Radio Hall of Fame for 2025. They will be honored at the in-person 2025 Radio Hall of Fame Induction ceremony on Thursday, Oct. 30 at the Swissotel Hotel in Chicago.

Six of the 10 inductees were determined by a voting participant panel comprised of more than 900 industry professionals. The other four inductees were voted on by the Radio Hall of Fame 2025 nominating committee.

“Our 2025 Induction Ceremony and Celebration will be a special, standing-room-only, event honoring the talents, history and contributions of 11 incredible people,” Kraig Kitchin, co-chair of the Radio Hall of Fame, said in a statement. “I cannot wait to celebrate the careers and impact of these men and women who’ve made a forever positive impact on the radio industry!”

Battlefield 6 maps: Full list of maps in the game

Battlefield 6 maps: Full list of maps in the game

by jummy84 October 14, 2025
written by jummy84

Here’s a full list of the maps in Battlefield 6, as well as all the DLC ones being added throughout the game’s first season of post-launch content.

How many maps are in Battlefield 6?

At launch, there are nine maps in Battlefield 6, but that doesn’t tell the whole story.

Depending on your chosen mode, you might fight in a smaller section of one map, or across the entire thing, and the maps themselves will change throughout a battle.

Of course, more maps will follow in future (more on that in a moment). For now, though, read on for the full list!

All Battlefield 6 maps so far

Here’s the full list, including the global location of each.

Empire State

Set in New York, the tight streets of Brooklyn make this map infantry-only but with plenty of verticality across rooftops and buildings.

Manhattan Bridge

Another map in New York, this one allows vehicles like tanks, and even helicopters for air support.

New Sobek City

The first of two maps in Egypt, this one on the outskirts of Cairo packs everything you could want from a Battlefield map, with sniper spots, helicopters, tanks, and plenty of opportunities for heroism.

Siege of Cairo

With more densely packed city streets and a focus on infantry and tanks, Siege of Cairo is an early favourite for players looking to exercise the tactical part of their brains.

Iberian Offensive

The first of two maps in Gibraltar, which plays a big part in the campaign, Iberian Offensive sees infantry and tanks take centre stage.

Saints Quarter

Infantry-only and full of sniper spots and tight city streets, Saints Quarter is also set in Gibraltar and is ideal for racking up close-quarters kills.

Liberation Peak

This mountainous map has more open sight lines, but with plenty of hiding spots for cunning ambushes.

Mirak Valley

Set in Tajikistan, Mirak Valley is the largest map in the game so far and gives you access to fighter jets, helicopters, tanks, and more.

Operation Firestorm

This classic from Battlefield 3 has never looked better, and lets you use every vehicle type in the game to capture key points of the refinery.

All confirmed Battlefield 6 DLC maps to come

Battlefield 6. EA

Battlefield 6’s first season of post-launch content is split into three chunks, with the first arriving a matter of weeks after launch.

Dubbed Rogue Ops, it’ll introduce the Blackwell Fields map set in the California badlands.

California Resistance, the second update, will introduce Eastwood, a suburban map with a huge golf course.

Winter Offensive, which arrives in December, won’t add a new map but will bring an icy revamp to Empire State.

Cristiano Ronaldo Becomes Football’s First Billionaire: Who’s Next On The Richest Players List? | Glamsham.com

by jummy84 October 10, 2025
written by jummy84

Cristiano Ronaldo just crossed a huge line, he’s now officially the first footballer ever to reach billionaire status, with estimates placing his net worth at around $1.4 billion.  That’s not just from goals and trophies though it’s from massive contracts, brand deals, smart business moves, and a global brand empire.

A big chunk of his wealth now comes from his Saudi club contract, which is said to be worth over $400 million.  Add to that years of endorsement deals with Nike, Armani, and others, real estate, hotels, perfumes, and more, Ronaldo’s earnings span way beyond the pitch.

Before this, most public sources estimated Ronaldo’s net worth in 2025 somewhere between $275 million and $600 million, depending on what you count (salary, endorsements, assets).  But with this new milestone, those older numbers look modest in comparison.

So who’s behind him now? Here are some names frequently mentioned, along with their rough net worths:

  • Lionel Messi: Often considered Ronaldo’s peer in both football and finances, Messi’s fortune is estimated around $580 million in some sources  .
  • Neymar Jr.: A top earner from both salary and endorsements, Neymar is often listed in the top 5 richest players.
  • Kylian Mbappé: Young, marketable, and already stacking big contracts and brand deals.
  • Faiq Bolkiah: He’s often listed as the richest footballer if you include inherited wealth. Some say his net worth is in the billions, though not from football itself.

These numbers are noisy. They depend on what you include (investments, private assets, debts). But Ronaldo’s jump to billionaire status changes the conversation. He’s not just a player anymore, he’s a business mogul, a brand, a legacy.

The question now: who’ll be the next footballer to break into the billion-dollar club? Messi? Mbappé? A royal heir playing on the side? Watch this space.

U.S. Government Shutdown 2025: List of Services & Agencies Closed
Hollywood

List of Services & Agencies Closed – Hollywood Life

by jummy84 October 7, 2025
written by jummy84

Image Credit: AFP via Getty Images

After midnight on October 1, 2025, the federal government officially shut down because lawmakers failed to come together on a new spending plan for the fiscal year. The halt leaves hundreds of thousands of federal workers in limbo and raises new questions about how long agencies can continue daily services.

With Republicans pointing fingers at Democrats over demands for health care subsidies, and Democrats pushing back that those must be part of any deal, the standoff has already begun to interfere with everything from economic reporting to food aid programs. As agencies start to scale back, here’s what we know about the shutdown, how it affects you and what businesses have ceased service until further notice.

What Happens When the Government Shuts Down?

When the U.S. government shuts down, “non-essential” federal workers could face furloughs, meaning an indefinite period of no pay while their jobs pause.

The service disruption can impact those outside of Washington D.C. as well. National parks and museums face widespread closures, while small businesses that rely on federal loans and approvals could experience delays.

What Businesses Are Closed During a Government Shutdown?

The October 2025 government shutdown will affect non-essential businesses, but essential ones such as the USPS, TSA, the Social Security Administration and the military will continue working. The following list includes the businesses and agencies the shut down could impact:

  • Department of Commerce
  • Department of Education

  • Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)

  • Department of Labor

  • National Park Service

  • Small Business Administration (SBA)

  • NASA

  • Food and Drug Administration (FDA)

  • Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) / NIH

  • General Services Administration (GSA)

  • Department of Agriculture (USDA)

Why Did the Government Shut Down?

The government shut down on October 1, 2025, because Congress did not agree on a funding bill before the start of the fiscal year. Donald Trump openly blamed Democrats for disagreeing with Republicans on the spending bill. Democrats stood firm about healthcare, and Republicans accused them of causing the shutdown to satisfy their voters for the 2026 midterm elections.

After the vote, Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer said, “Our guarantee is to the American people that we’re going to fight as hard as we can for their healthcare, plain and simple,” per Reuters.

Trump shared a deepfake AI-generated video to social media of Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries with mariachi music playing in the background and Jeffries wearing a sombrero.

The release of the album Aura ties in closely with Diljit’s ongoing Aura Tour 2025. It kicked off in September 24, with a sold-out opening night at Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur. It will wrap up in Bangkok on December 7.

Meanwhile, Diljit Dosanjh recently bagged two International Emmy nominations for the film Amar Singh Chamkila. The first nomination is in the Best Actor category while the second one is for the Best TV/Mini-Series category. Diljit will now compete in the Best Actor category with David Mitchell (Ludwig), Oriol Pla (Yo, Adicto / I, Addict), and Diego Vasquez (One Hundred Years of Solitude).

Reacting to this, he said, “This is such a big moment. And not just for me, but for Amar Singh Chamkila, an artist from Punjab who is being celebrated on the global stage. I feel truly honoured that Amar Singh Chamkila, an artist from Punjab, is being recognised and talked about at a global level on such a prestigious stage like the International Emmys. This nomination is not just for me, but for the entire legacy of Chamkila. I am grateful to Imtiaz Ali Sir for choosing me for the Role.”

Gold, Silver and Bronze placements were announced and trophies presented during a ceremony held at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City.

The Student Academy Awards were established in 1972 to provide a platform for emerging global talent by creating opportunities within the industry to showcase their work. How to redeem Blue Lock Rivals codes

Before you can redeem a code in Blue Lock Rivals, you need to follow these steps:

  • First, you need to join the Blue Lock Rivals Roblox group and give it a “Thumbs Up” on the Roblox page
  • Reach Level 10 in Blue Locks Rivals by playing the game
  • Once at Level 10, select “CODES” from the bottom of the main menu
  • Enter a code
  • Press Redeem

Once you have done this, the code should be active and working. But if it isn’t, there may be a few things that have gone wrong

Why isn’t my Blue Lock Rivals code working?

This can be due to a number of things, but the most likely culprits are:

  • The Blue Locks Rivals code doesn’t work anymore because it has expired
  • You haven’t reached Level 10 yet
  • There is a typo in the code

The last one may seem obvious, but some of the codes have characters such as exclamation points in them, or there may be a space that has accidentally been introduced when you copy-and-pasted the code from somewhere.

But before you write the code off, make sure that you’re at Level 10 or above, as this is required before you can use codes.
