Lady Gaga Added to 2025 MTV VMAs Performance Lineup

Singer and this year’s most nominated artist makes return to VMAs stage for first time since 2020 Covid-era performance

Lady Gaga will return to the MTV Video Music Awards on September 7 for her first performance on the show in five years.

MTV announced the addition of Gaga — the most nominated artist at this year’s VMAs with 12 nods — on social media Saturday, just over a week before the 2025 show invades New York’s UBS Arena.

“Need all of my fellow Little Monsters to COME TO THE FRONT! Why, you ask?! Oh, because MOTHER MONSTER HERSELF IS PERFORMING AT THE 2025 #VMAs!!!!” MTV wrote.

However, as Lady Gaga has a Mayhem Ball concert scheduled for September 7 at New York’s Madison Square Garden, her VMA performance will likely take place live from that venue, and not the not-so-nearby UBS Arena.

The singer last performed at the (Covid-era and audience-less) VMAs five years ago, delivering a medley of Chromatica songs alongside guest Ariana Grande; the pair also won Song of the Year that night for “Rain on Me,” while Gaga was awarded Artist of the Year.

This time around, Gaga is up for a dozen awards, most of them tied to her Bruno Mars collaboration “Die With a Smile” (including Video of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Song), while Gaga herself is up for Artist of the Year and Best Album (Mayhem).

Gaga joins a stacked MTV VMA performance lineup that also includes Sabrina Carpenter, Doja Cat, Post Malone, Jelly Roll, Tate McRae, J Balvin, Sombr, Alex Warren, and Conan Gray. 2025 MTV VMAs Video Vanguard Award recipient Mariah Carey will also perform. Additionally, Busta Rhymes will be recognized with the inaugural MTV VMA Rock the Bells Visionary Award, and Ricky Martin is set to receive the first Latin Icon Award.

Tyler, The Creator Reveals Camp Flog Gnaw 2025 Lineup

by jummy84 August 24, 2025
written by jummy84

Tyler, The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival is back with a uniquely curated, all-star lineup. The California rapper revealed the list of artists set to join him at the annual event this fall in Los Angeles. Sharing a crossword puzzle across social media, fans had the opportunity to seek and find their favorites among the scrambled letters, building excitement for the sold-out affair.

Once revealed, the full lineup named both veteran acts and rising talents, with a few acts brand new to the Flog Gnaw stage.

In their comeback year, Clipse will take the stage, as well as fellow Hip-Hop acts A$AP Rocky, EARL Sweatshirt, GloRilla, and the trio of 2 Chainz, Alchemist, and Larry June. Doechii will also return to Camp Flog Gnaw for the second consecutive year. Additional acts on the bill include AZ Chike, Don Toliver, Samara Cyn, Fousheé, Ray Vaughn, T-Pain, Thundercat, and Zack Fox.

Presented by the “Darling I” rapper, Camp Flog Gnaw is produced in collaboration with Goldenvoice and will return to Dodger Stadium grounds. Last year, the festival celebrated its 10-year anniversary.

“I don’t have any heartfelt message. Thank everyone of y’all motherf**kers on God,” proudly exclaimed the 34-year-old in 2024 at the height of CHROMAKOPIA‘s chart success.

Tickets for Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival 2025 sold out shortly after the November 15-16 dates were announced; however, fans can sign up on the waitlist for potential entry.

Tyler, the Creator announces 2025 Camp Flog Gnaw line-up with a word search

Tyler, The Creator has announced the line-up for Camp Flog Gnaw 2025. Find all the details below.

The 11th edition of the carnival will take place at Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium on November 15 and 16. Tickets for the festival were initially put on sale in June, without any news as to who would be performing. Passes promptly sold out and fans have since been awaiting the reveal of the line-up.

Now, Tyler has unveiled the list of artists set to perform via a word search that was posted on Instagram yesterday (August 21).

The puzzle revealed that, alongside Tyler himself, playing the festival will be A$AP Rocky, Doechii, Childish Gambino, Clipse, Earl Sweatshirt, T-Pain, The Alchemist, 2 Chainz, Thundercat, Larry June, Clairo, Teezo Touchdown, Tems and more.

Last year, the rapper shared the festival’s line-up in a similar fashion, rolling out a crossword puzzle to reveal performances from Erykah Badu, Playboi Carti, André 3000, Kaytranada, Sexyy Red, Vince Staples, Omar Apollo, Faye Webster, RAYE, and more.

The 2024 edition was full of surprises, including R&B superstar SZA joining Doechii on stage during her set to perform their 2020 collaboration, ‘Persuasive (remix)’, and Playboi Carti brought out The Weeknd during his set to perform ‘Timeless’.

In other news, Tyler released his ninth studio album, ‘Don’t Tap The Glass’, in July, after announcing it only two days earlier during a concert in Brooklyn.

NME gave ‘Don’t Tap the Glass’ four stars, in a review that read: “Shedding the cinematic sprawl and narrative pathos of last year’s ‘Chromakopia’, Tyler steps away from the character-driven framing of Wolf Haley or Sir Baudelaire.

“The paranoia and parasocial tension explored on that record still linger – but beneath cartoonish ’80s rap armour. It’s part Kurtis Blow and part LL Cool J, encased in a clear Perspex chamber like a collector’s action figure. Instead of inviting connection, Tyler shields himself behind the glass: a museum piece for dance and display only.”

Shortly after the album came out, he also released a clean version at the request of a fan. The LP serves as a follow-up to ‘Chromakopia’, which landed at number 44 on NME‘s best albums of 2024 list.

In May, NME caught him live in London, giving his performance a glowing five-star review which read: “As Tyler wishes us a farewell, he remains humble, but tonight is no small feat. With outfit changes, multiple stages and live vocals front-and-centre, Tyler flips through his eras like a masterclass in fearless reinvention.

“From the raw menace of ‘Goblin’ to the kaleidoscopic chaos of ‘Chromakopia’, tonight is a vivid, wild ride through the mind of rap’s ultimate maverick – and London is lucky to be along for the journey.

In other news, the musician is set to make his film debut later this year in Marty Supreme, a new A24 film set to be released in December.

Last One Laughing season 2 line-up confirmed as Bob Mortimer returns

by jummy84 August 21, 2025
written by jummy84

Whoever survives the longest without cracking a smile (they get just one life before they’re out) is then crowned winner at the end of the run.

This time around the comics competing are David Mitchell, Diane Morgan, Romesh Ranganathan, Amy Gledhill, Maisie Adam, Mel Giedroyc, Alan Carr, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Sam Campbell and season 1 winner Bob Mortimer returning to defend his crown.

The first UK season of the show was contested by Mortimer, Daisy May Cooper, Joe Lycett, Judi Love, Rob Beckett, Sara Pascoe, Lou Sanders, Joe Wilkinson, Harriet Kemsley and Richard Ayoade, who emerged as the runner-up.

Roisin Conaty will also return to cast her eye over proceedings alongside Carr from the safety of the control room.

Mortimer previously spoke to RadioTimes.com and other press about his time filming the show and the challenges he had to overcome.

“I thought it would be easy not to laugh,” he said. “[I] spend most of my days not laughing, so I thought it would be easy, but it’s so difficult! [It’s] just a strange atmosphere, I was really struggling in the beginning.”

Speaking about how he managed not to laugh, the Gone Fishing comedian explained: “I just walked away. There was a few contestants [where] I just couldn’t look at their faces, so I just veered away.”

Meanwhile, Carr spoke to RadioTimes.com about how he couldn’t imagine being a contestant on the show, saying: “I think probably the reason I became a host rather than a team captain on shows was [because] I’m a pretty generous laugher. I’ve got a weird laugh, fine, but I use it a lot. I love stand-up comedy, I consume more than I perform. I watch everyone’s specials and watch all the shows.”

He continued: “I absolutely love comedy as a genre and I think that thing about not laughing is so weird. Like to be in there and not laughing at your friends and being unsupportive, it’s so counterintuitive.”

Prime Video has also spawned versions of the hit format in over 20 countries, with local celebrity hosts including Graham Norton (Ireland), Jay Baruchel (Canada), Eugenio Derbez (Mexico), Fedez (Italy), Michael ‘Bully’ Herbig (Germany), Rebel Wilson (Australia) and Trevor Noah (South Africa).
